A diner that has a very cute, outdoor patio in the back that was very pleasant to enjoy on our relaxing morning. Coffee was good and all of the food was amazing. I was in love with the apricot French toast, I didn't even need syrup. The blueberry pancakes tasted very fresh and the omlette was perfect. An added benefit is the location of this spot, surrounded by all the cute shops within walking distance.

This is one of those local gems that is off the beaten path, reasonable prices for amazing food, and you can sit in a beautiful garden that is lush since it is near the beach or inside if you like. Butter/whipped cream, tapitio, you name it, they've got it and they try to accommodate what you want and they don't charge a fortune.

My husband and I came in for breakfast and we sat outside. The outside is quiet and relaxing. Our server was great. He was busy but attentive…we didn’t have to ask for anything. We both ordered the ABC omelet and it was delicious! We had coffee to drink and the creamers were cold which was nice. This was the best meal we had of anywhere on the west coast.

Great service. Great staff who take the time to answer questions regarding how food in question is cooked. "John's Special" is an interesting item on the menu. The cook gets an "A" 👍

I took my daughter-in-law here for lunch today because Creekside has been around for decades here in Cambria. I am so glad that we came in and let me tell you they did not disappoint!! I had their grilled chicken blue cheese, walnut salad OMG!! Not only was the chicken cooked to perfection, but the strawberries in the salad were so ripe not to mention the dried cranberries were spectacular the mixed greens, which were incredible and the portion is spectacular. You can make two meals out of it. I of course stuff myself silly and eat the whole thing along with having two coronas lol! Oh, and it comes with their homemade strawberry muffins, which are to die for and I'm not kidding you I would stand in line and die over and over and over again for those damn muffins lol lol lol!! Our server was the most precious young man, and the staff was just wonderful and pleasant. We sat out back on the patio. I had my elderly mini Chihuahua with me and let me tell you he loved that muffin as much as I did! You simply must eat at Creekside Café! My daughter had the spinach and mushroom omelette and she said it was wonderful.

My breakfast omlete was off the chart delicious! I am NOT the breakfast person in the family, but the omlete had peppers, onions and a side of zippy salsa. I ate every bite!!!! Highly recommend!

Ramon and Maria's CREAKSIDE GARDENS CAFÉ is always our last stop before returning home (to reality) from a weekend getaway in Cambria California. Their brunches are terrific: large, fresh, and delicious. The café has a new look. There's a pavilion at the entrance. Inside it has been spruced up a bit. Still the same garden restaurant but, she's a bit prettier. There are two sections. A quaint dining room seats about twenty. The lovely, partially covered, heated garden, holds about thirty more. This is a very busy eatery. Be sure to register on the pad, hanging from a hook, inside the door. The wait is usually short. Reservations are not accepted. Servings are large. Everything is cooked to order. On their brunch menu, served all day, is a selection of waffles, pancakes, eggs, and several meats. As a vegan, I order the vegetarian stir-fry, without eggs. It is a mix of diced vegetables: peppers, potatoes, mushrooms, and spinach, stir-fried in olive oil, and served with a choice of toast, muffins or, my favorite, tortillas, and an unlimited supply of delicious, hot coffee. The free parking lot has a incline. The handicapped spaces are flat, directly in front of the restaurant's entrance. Seating on the garden patio is reached through the inside dining area. Both are wheelchair accessible. Carryouts are available. The recently remodeled gender neutral bathrooms, located near the entrance, are small. They are entered through a short hallway. The one on your right is the larger. Ramon and Maria's second eatery, Springside Gardens, is located in Palo Robles.

Great local haunt. Small interior dining area. Nice outback seating with fountain and landscaping. California omelet and side of bacon was tasty. The staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable especially for a tourist area. Clean restrooms. Goyo GTO says go!

What a gem! Service was friendly and attentive. But where this place really shines is in the inventiveness of the menu and the food. We had French toast, eggs Benedict, and they custom made a sandwich for my vegetarian husband.

A simple yet flavorful breakfast with large portions. Lovely creekside, dog-friendly patio. Family run staff is accommodating, and practices covid guidelines. Except they have reusable menus, but sanitize after each use. Comfort food in a comfortable location with fountains and greenery all around.

We tried a couple breakfast spots in Cambria and this was by far the absolute best one we found. Great atmosphere, clean, and the food is on point! I had the French toast which was by far the best French toast I have had at any restaurant. The texture and flavor was dialed in perfectly. Anytime we pass through cambria, this will be our first choice for a breakfast spot.

Excellent! First things first, the food was excellent! Quick service and the staff was super friendly. The decor and atmosphere was lovely. It was to cold to sit out on the patio today but hopefully next time I come it will be warm enough to enjoy the patio.

Completely adorable place. Right off the road next to a cute antique store. Server was so sweet even accommodating my husband having to eat immediately since his sugar was low. The linguisa sausage was so tasty and the patio seating was fun with a light breeze. The food was so good and fast. A must come.

So, we originally stopped at Robin's but were told they were short staffed and there would be at least a 10 minute wait. There appeared to be empty tables everywhere though. So, we headed around the corner to Creekside Garden. The staff was friendly and helpful. The patio was comfirtable and welcoming. The found was so very good. My husband had a turkey fresno cheese sandwich with fries. The peppers were cooked perfectly for the sandwich and the fries yummy. I had beef fres.o and cheese sandwich with potato salad . The meat was perfect, peppers delicious and the potato salad was amazing. We will be back as the experience was better than we've had at Robin's.

This is one of our favorite breakfast spots in Cambria. It's located in a small shopping mall off of the Main downtown area. They seat parties quickly and have good food and service. The inside of the restaurant isn't anything spectacular, but the outdoor area (dog friendly) has lots of shade, trees and beautiful plants to look at - we always sit outside. They also have plenty of heaters outside if it's cold. They have brunch options which come with fruit, a drink of choice and your meal. The eggs are always perfectly cooked and have super golden yolks and always taste farm fresh. They serve lunch as well, however we have only been for breakfast. I would definitely recommend trying them out for an easy-going breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Amazing cafe with a cozy backyard with a small fountain, service is good and people are smiling, fruits and coffee were served fast, especially nice to see fruits as a small compliment. Not a big issue, but the small fountain needs to be cleaned but the idea to have it is amazing, it gives some relaxing ambiance. Location is good, there is also a parking spot on a parking lot or you can park your car in front of the parking lot, along a road.

I harp on service, Creekside Gardens has this down pat. Everyone from the bus boy to the wait staff is excellent in service Ramona was exceptionally nice an frequently checked to see if my meal was okay and if I needed coffee. Food was tasty and was not a long wait, enough time to read some of my book and send a few texts. I ordered the French Toast combo scrambled eggs with Cheddar cheese and bacon. It was excellent and served hot. I sat on the rear outside patio and surprisingly it was a comfortable temp there were about 8 other occupied tables so a good thing. Dogs can be accomodated if they behave. 4 pages of menu (see pictures) they close at I believe 2pm.

We’ve been here a few times, in the fall and now in the summer. It is fantastic, but you must be prepared to wait as there is usually a line. Remember to sign in (there’s a clipboard on a pillar inside) and state your party number and inside/outside preference. There is no hostess, per say. The food and coffee is diner-style and good but it takes time to make so be prepared to spend a better part of an hour. Plan to relax. We got the chili verde omelette, oatmeal, fruit cup, and coffee. All were delicious and ample enough for two people.

No complaints, good breakfast place .

We had the Cobb salad. Salad was fresh with egg and avacado. Was served quickly, dressing was average. Muffin with salad was a chocolate chip muffin, somewhat odd... I didn't try it, wife took one bite. Also ordered a cup of beef-vegatable soup. The soup was full of vegetables & beef, somewhat Bland in taste and on the verge of being overcooked. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere, probably good cleaning is needed. Overall an OK place, but not exactly exciting.

Food was very good and the wait staff was very friendly. The fries were amazing. The Cobb salad was tasty although the chicken lacked some flavor (but the bacon made up for that). The chili was only mediocre. Great muffin. Highly recommend the fish and chips.

Simple, home-cooking type of restaurant. The breakfasts are tasty. I've had pancakes, omelets, and waffles, and all were excellent. They have a very nice sized outdoor patio that shields the wind quite well. There are plenty of heat lamps as well. This is our go-to breakfast place in Cambria.

Was good but the chef has the griddle to hot and the pancakes were quite brown and almost gooey. Need to turn down that griddle ND cook them a little firmer. Everything else was great.

Food was very good. Served hot and fresh. I had the chili verde omelette which was a special with pancakes. My husband had the spinach and omelette that was a bit dull until he added wonderful fresh from scratch salsa. Very nice fruit cup with big pieces of fruit in a wide variety. Service was attentive but kitchen was slow. Cute enough place. I would definitely come again and do recommend.

What a pleasant surprise! If a good classic quality breakfast is your thing, this place is for you. Looks like nuttn from the outside but the inside (outside again) atmosphere is just perfect for breakfast, the staff is super friendly and attentive and the food quality is above the asking price. GREAT spot for the perfect morning fill!

Cozy family-owned-feeling cafe. Waterfall fountains in the garden setting yet indoor seating is also available. Huge menu for such a small place. The food was great with large portions. Breakfast all day if you like. Right next to a big antique mall. Lots of parking.

I had the Sunday brunch special. It was like $25 with a drink a nice fruit bowl fresh cut pineapple and melons and berries. And I had the seafood Benedict. And the atmosphere on the back patio is great. Dog friendly. I must stop in Cambria.

Great little café serving breakfast & lunch. Good American comfort and Mexican dishes. Went for lunch and had the California burger, tostada salad, and mariner sandwich special (pictured). We were seated right away. Food was served in good time. We sat on the patio were it was very comfortable. Enjoyed our lunch.

Food is pretty solid. It's an older restaurant, with the outdoor patio, being the best place to sit. Weather permitting. Go early. The kitchen is fairly small.

The food was alright, pancakes are a bit dull in flavor. The scrambles are good but the potatoes that come with it appeared to be unseasoned and boiled. Also came with two small pieces of toast. Not a good value for the money nor flavor but the atmosphere is good.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way home. Very good service, food is ok, what you would typically find in a diner, big portions, small and not so up to date atmosphere. Parking is tight.

Only had burgers.. Maybe the breakfast is the way to go.

I had an omelette that was really good and the bacon was just how I like it.. crispy and melts in your mouth. Second time here two years later…had the California omelette very good. Prob the best breakfast we can find around here.

The positive first: I liked the atmosphere here. Nice little inside/outside outdoors-y feel. The greeting staff were nice and accommodating. My chili-cheese omelette was just OK. The chili was bland and the house potatoes were bland. My wife did enjoy her corn beef hash. My daughter’s eggs and bacon dish was also off. The bacon was soggy. Yes - soggy. The server did her job adequately but was a little cold and barely checked in on us and my coffee was never refilled.

The food was not bad. Pancakes undercooked. Had the Denver omelette, was good and hot. Terrible service though. We get there, took 10 minutes for us to be asked for coffee. And another 10 minutes to take our order. People coming in being sad and ordertaking immediately while we waited. When we asked where our food was, they told us people were ahead of us. Not worth it.

Customer service could've been a lot better. The waiter we had completely ignored my husband everytime he came to check on us and he had asked for water and more coffee, never brought any of it to the table. He didn't even wanna split up the checks for our table because he was "too busy" but another waitress did it for us. So we definitely didn't leave a tip for him. But other than the crappy customer service, the atmosphere was beautiful outside, sat next to the water fountain. Everything was delicious! Hopefully next time I go back, that same waiter we had will do his job better.

Our waiter was lovely and he helped us in a timely manner but unfortunately the kitchen staff left much to be desired. I don’t think they new we understood Spanish because they made fun of my mothers order (she ordered a chili burger minus the patty because she didn’t want to eat a lot of meat today). It was incredibly rude and unprofessional of them. The cooks were also swearing and screaming (for no reason?) to the point that a little girl beside us told the waitress she was frightened. It was not the best experience.

They make a great 35 dollar mimosa. Went here today for breakfast. I specifically asked the server if they make their corned beef hash in house and he said yes "it's not out of a can." What arrived on my plate was canned corned beef hash (and if you know that stuff it's basically glorified dog food). My eggs had hard shell in them and my food was lukewarm. The gravy for their B&G is right out of a powder packet and I don't know who taught these people how to make a biscuit but it arrived looking like a round dinner roll. I cam count on one hand how many times I've sent my food back but when I alerted him to take it back, I was informed that they would not be taking the charge off because "we don't waste food." Which is all well and good but what you served me was slop and it isn't worth 20 dollars, especially when you lied to me and said you made everything in-house. So, I spent 35 dollars on a mimosa which was actually probably the only thing worth consuming at this place. Unless maybe you get scrambled eggs or pancakes (which are hard to mess up when all you serve is processed nursing home food.

Worst food in SLO county! Roast Beef sandwich was a joke, two thin slices of some store-bought meat on two barely toasted slices of bread with a piece of lettuce and some Mayo. The fries tasted weird and were inedible. My wife had the “John’s special” however her eggs were not basted like the menu said, the English muffin was rubbery, and they forgot to melt the cheese over it, so they just gave her some shredded cheese in a cup out of the fridge. I’m not sure who John is, but his standards are pretty low if he put his name on that! We ended up just throwing the food away, total waste of time and money!

Waited around an hour for a way too sugary French toast. It looked really good but it was filled too much with cream cheese and apricot jam. If you're into way too much filling and soggy French toast, come check this place out.
