Let me start by saying that Linn’s makes THE best beef or pie I have ever eaten. Lots of beef and the crust is so flaky and delicious. Living locally I pick them up frozen to keep on hand. As for my visit to the cafe, it was delicious as always and I’m never disappointed. We had the grilled cheese with tomato soup and the pesto chicken sandwich with potato salad. You can dine inside or out on the patio and you the food comes out quickly. Both items we got were very good and we took some pie to go. Then we hopped over to Linn’s Gourmet Goods to pick up my frozen pot pies to go. Stellar food day in my book.

2025-02-24 Update Stop by here again for lunch last month and decided to try their soup of the day which was spinach lentil soup. It was delicious and very satisfying. Also had the banana cream pie again which is awesome. Great service as always and nice to eat out on their patio. After shopping the Linn's gourmet goods store, we decided to finally stop by here to have a light lunch. They have a lovely garden patio and it was a nice and quiet meal. My wife had the clam chowder and I had the turkey wrap and they were both very good. Too full to have any pies this time.

We stopped for lunch on our way to San Simeon. Norm, if we go to the restaurant, but decided to check out the deli menu. We're glad we did. The sandwich was very tasty. My friend has the chicken pot pie which had a flaky crust and delicious filling. The clam chowder was good. My favorite is the Ollalieberry ice tea. We didn't have room for pie, but all the desserts looked pretty. Next time we're in the area we will stop again.

We came basically at closing so you get what you get. Food was ok, probably better earlier. The pie was very good. The service was excellent ( considering the were closing up) the counter person was awesome and actually gave us a lot of local tips to check out while in that area( we did check the spots out and are 100% as he described them) so overall a very nice experience. I did mention the pie.

It’s a cozy little place with a warm, welcoming vibe. I tried the olallieberry pie for the first time, and it was delicious—full of flavor and a fun new treat to experience. The only downside was that the order taker wasn’t particularly friendly, but the food itself made up for it. I’d still come back to try more items and give the place another chance.

Good pie; the flavor, the balance between sour and sweet and the pastry crunchiness was right. I suggest having ceramic plates and real forks for a full experience. Coffee a bit too bitter for my taste (over roasted) but I assume it is the way Americans like it. I had to ask for ceramic cup.

Always delightful to stop in to Lynn. Today I had their twist on the Cuban sandwich. Roasted pork was outstanding the right amount of mustard provolone and Ham don't forget the pickles. Sandwiches put together great and the outside patio was beautiful. Receive the food in a very timely manner always fresh. Service was exceptional. And of course I had to have a fresh piece of pie.

Gorgeous looking pies and treats. I only got a latte and asked for it with whole milk. The staff was truly nice and had to go somewhere quick, to get the whole milk since they had run out in the shop. It was a very good latte with the smile. They had a little section with festive food items for purchase worth checking out. Like to send them some business since the shop looks so cute and great service for such a small thing. Dang. Wish I'd taken a pic. Sorry 😔

Drawn in by the promise of fruit pies. Unfortunately, there was very little fruit. The pie crust was decent, but the filling was a syrupy sugar mix that you would expect from an industrial kitchen. Sandwiches did not skimp on meat, but unfortunately skimped on everything else, so most bites tasted like grabbing a stack of cold cuts and stuffing it in your mouth. Patio was very nice though.

I decided to stop at this bakery before leaving Cambria because of the rave reviews of their Olallieberry pie on Yelp. I had to try it. It was nothing to write home about. I prefer a pie with a buttery flaky crust and this was the kind of soft kind of soggy crust? As to the filling it didn’t have a distinct flavor. I could have mistaken it for plain blueberry filling.

Walked in and saw the kitchen staff using their phone while on the prep line, not a great look and definitely not sanitary but my friend I was with really wanted to try this place so I overlooked that red flag. We ordered and got our lackluster food in a timely manner. I got the pot pie and my friend got the meatloaf. The picture of the pot pie they advertised made it look large and appetizing. When it got to the table it was no bigger than a Marie Callender’s frozen pie and when I got to my mouth it had half the flavor and texture of a Marie Callender’s frozen pot pie—highly disappointed. The crust was not crusty and the dish had no texture. The chicken in the pot pie was not bad however the vegetables were overdone. The meatloaf was also a train-wreck of a dish. Also lacked flavor and texture—this is including the mash and gravy served with it. The meatloaf itself lacked tangyness, salt and joy. You can taste the sadness in the food from the people who cook it. No one behind the counter seemed happy to work there and it’s definitely translating to the quality of meals they prepare. My friend ordered and array of desserts to go and they only two that stood out were the olallieberry pie and olallieberry cream puff. Would not recommend.

We were deeply disappointed with both the service and the pie we received. After rushing down Highway 1 to arrive in time, we were eager to order a whole raspberry rhubarb pie. Unfortunately, the staff—particularly the gentleman wearing glasses—appeared disinterested and unhelpful, which set a frustrating tone for our visit. Despite having a lingering concern that something might be amiss, we proceeded with our order. Upon returning home and cutting into the pie, which was clearly labeled “raspberry rhubarb,” we were shocked to find it was filled with cherry—my least favorite filling. This was a significant letdown, especially since we were really looking forward to the pie we had ordered. Overall, this experience was disappointing. We feel the service and the labeling were both mishandled, and it has left us questioning whether we will return in the future.
