We were a family of six visiting for the first time. As soon as we stepped in the door we experienced the warmest of welcomes.Our steaks was cooked perfectly. The Matilda Cake was the best dessert. All the service team were fantastic. Big thank you kitchen and service team for such a lovely evening.

Had a wonderful evening at Mina! The food was delicious, we got the lamb shank and filet, both were cooked perfectly. The fire dancing was brilliant entertainment, and the music was also great all night. The service was wonderful- thank you Fahim! We came for a birthday celebration and got a yummy slice of cheesecake on the house. Definitely worth visiting in Cambridge!

I had the sirloin steak and lamb chops at Mina Steak, and everything was absolutely delicious! The meat was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience feel warm and inviting. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal and friendly service!

Finally, a place that doesn't serve all steaks overcooked! I ordered a blue sirloin and received a blue sirloin. Absolutely delicious food, lovely and attentive staff, and a vibrant atmosphere. A lovely elevated dining spot in Cambridge, I will be returning with friends.

Mina’s Steakhouse is a place that will always be special to me. The steak is absolutely amazing every single time, perfectly cooked and full of flavour and the chips are just as good. While I personally find the mac and cheese a bit mediocre, the mac and cheese could benefit from a few tweaks, such as changing the type of pasta, enhancing the cheese sauce to make it richer and creamier, and adding a crispy topping like fried onions for extra texture and flavour. However, it doesn’t take away from the overall experience. I’ve been here three times and never had any issues. On my most recent visit the music was a bit too loud, but when we asked the waiter to turn it down, he had no problem doing so. The staff are genuinely really nice and accommodating. This place holds a lot of meaning for me, as it’s where I went on my first date, and we also came back here soon after we got married. Mina’s will always have a special place in my heart.

Very friendly attentive staff, great food and a happy vibe. First time visiting, for my daughter's birthday and they bought out a birthday cheesecake without any asking or preparation. Thanks very much for a lovely time .We would definitely recommend a visit........The drinks and effects showed they really had a passion for offering a great customer experience!

What a place! Went to celebrate our daughters 15th Birthday. They made such a fuss of her and made her evening really special with some lovely little touches. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. The food was absolutely beautiful as well. We had a range of dishes and dessert and all lovely. Something to consider is they don't sell alcohol, but could bring your own. Would 100% recommend. Had a great vibe playing some great R&B tunes. Not too loud to chat but made a good atmosphere.

They have good service and nice food. They do not serve alcohol but you can bring your own. The Mina sauce with the steaks is way too hot for me, but others might like that. Their steaks are very nice, and due to them being big and thin, i suggest medium if you like medium to well done. Their baklava has a great presentation but has a huge amount of chocolate sause on it. It looks beautiful and is extremely sweet due to the sauce. Their Matilda cake is absolutely soft and delicious with lots of chocolate sauce. Note though that it is a very big helping. For me, it could have been shared between 2 to 3 people.

Been here for lunch for my brother’s birthday with my toddler and my newborn. Food was amazing and I had a fantastic drink , Megan was absolutely amazing ,her service went above and beyond especially with my little one. Also very happy with the prices.

Travelled up from London to Cambridge for the weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday. Jay the waiter and his team put on a great service. The little details made a huge difference. Very friendly, great food and great atmosphere and a special treat for our birthday guest. Bring your own booze as well which is not common. Would 100% recommend

Visted earlier & had a great time at this steakhouse! The vibe was really nice and chilled, and the staff were super friendly. My Salmon steak with mash was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Jay and his team really looked after me, and the hospitality was top notch. Definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area. 💯

Great food, atmosphere and service. We visited from Norwich for my partners birthday and they made it extra special. We would definitely come back and recommend to anyone. Owner, Jay was also present and interacting which is nice to see. Thank you to the team at Mina Steakhouse, the young lady, Fahim and Jay especially for making sure we got the Matilda cake to have in and not takeaway as he had a special birthday song and sparkler planned. 10/10

Mina Steakhouse is a very good restaurant. Prices and portions are reasonable. Food is well prepared and tasted good. Decor is elegant. Staff are very friendly. Would recommend a visit.

Amazing food! The steak was yummy 😋 and so was the mocktail , there was so much to choose from. My son got a burger and said it was the best. Megan was also really friendly couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely come back.

Celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary together at Mina Steakhouse. It was our first time and it was brilliant. The food was delicious, the service was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed our date. The little extras which is part of their service makes the meal that extra bit special and memorable. We both left very happy and will definitely return again. Thank you for celebrating with us at the end of our meal. The cheesecake was otherworldly!

We recently visited Cambridge and decided to stop for a meal at Mina Steakhouse. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. A catering assistant named Meghal was especially kind and helpful. She went out of her way to assist my eight-year-old, who needed internet access, and even charged his phone when she noticed the battery was low. The team was incredibly attentive throughout our visit—constantly checking in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their welcoming and friendly attitude made the whole experience even better. The food was delicious, and my kids really enjoyed it. Honestly, the service was easily an 11 out of 10. We felt genuinely looked after and appreciated the care they showed. We’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in Cambridge. Thank you for such a warm and memorable experience!

Five Stars All round! Big appreciation to Ekjot, Rana, and Fahim aswell as all the kitchen staff. They provided us brilliant service tonight, food was served quickly and also hot. The food was delicious too. The mocktails taste amazing and are so sweet. For dessert we had the baclava and it was presented to us in a treasure box which looked stunning. Throughout our time in the restaurant the staff would talk to us and make sure we were okay, as well as having fun conversations, and complimenting us. They were all so pleasant and amazing to speak to. Not pricey either! Really recommend this restaurant to anyone and will be returning again soon. 5 stars all round.

The food is insanely good and the service is amazing! The ribeye steak is absolutely delicious!!! You must try the classic burger and the steak — and the fries are great too! Fahim was so kind and made the experience really touching.

Came here for my birthday meal and it was honestly amazing!! Couldn’t have asked for better service. The food was 10/10. I’d recommend the Beef Tacos, they were so juicy and flavoursome. Also ordered the sirloin steak and it was cooked to PERFECTION. Ragav was exceptional. Would definitely come here again

Came here through the recommendation of a friend, food was lovely. Staff attentive and professional. The owner really takes pride in his business. He overheard that it was my wife’s birthday and surprised us with a little birthday introduction with a candle! Gave us a complimentary hot drink on the house as well, which was nice of him! Will be back next time in Cambridge 🙏🏽.

Took my wife here for her birthday and they made the whole evening an absolute joy. Lovely service, theatric table serving of different drinks and desserts, really just a lovely experience. And then the food…incredible! Honestly, you spend £32 on a T-Bone and you get £32 worth of steak if not more! The steaks are cooked VERY well and are great quality - highly recommend the tomahawk if you’re feeling hungry. Just an all round great experience with great food and atmosphere - if you’ve not been yet I highly recommend it. Thank you Mina Steakhouse for a lovely evening.

Came for my boyfriend’s birthday and when I say this is an experience I mean it. The effects with what I believe is dry ice adds an amazing effect to it all. And we had JAY serve us and he was AMAZING so professional and had a laugh with us at the same time. He made the experience so special my boyfriend cried. They had a birthday message on the table and all sang with a sparkler. Lights off, sparkler. The prices are spot on. I think it’s definitely worth the money. We both had 2 drinks, starters, mains and dessert. Came to £70 a head including service charge which I’m more than happy to pay with how our experience was. Outstanding. We live 1hr away but will 100% be back.

I had a wonderful experience today. I’ve just reached home and I’m still thinking about how delicious the food was! The Wagyu Ribeye Steak was cooked perfectly—juicy, flavourful, and absolutely mouth-watering. The classic burger was equally amazing, fresh and so yummy. A special shout-out to Ekjot, our waiter. She was extremely polite, attentive, and professional throughout. Her friendly attitude and excellent service truly made the experience even better. She made sure everything was perfect and checked on us at the right times. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and top-class service. Highly recommended, and big thanks again to Ekjot for such a lovely experience!

Amazing food, long wait on ordering and food being delivered. We wanted dessert, was given a menu for it and left after waiting 20 minutes to order and nobody asking what we want.

Enjoyed it here. Was a bit sad that what I wanted was sold out but what I did have was good. The lamb chops were lovely. Loved that I was given a rose. Good vibes and you can bring alcohol from the shop next door so that was all good. Great stuff. Loved it.

The food was good and I really liked the environment. The staff were great and the presentation was excellent. I'm just giving 4 star instead of 5 because they offered water while we were waiting, but it never came in! It was disappointing 😞

Firstly I dont like to leave bad reviews however a few things on this visit I think people should be aware of. I wanted to treat myself to a good steak and seen this restaurant had won awards in 2023/2024. But I left slightly disappointed, I asked for the rib eye steak and they didnt have it. I opted for a fillet instead requested to be cooked medium. I also ordered a side of coleslaw and glass of coke. The fillet steak itself was massive, so no problems with the portion size however it was so big it appeared to be cut in half and sliced to help it cook quicker throughout. But the steak was still very rare in some areas. I appreciate a good fillet steak takes a while to cook but id have rather waited. The meal took about 15 minutes to come out. They forgot to bring my side of coleslaw with the meal. And no waiter/waitress come back to ask my how my meal was after serving it. After the meal I was presented with a warm towel. The fries were cooked perfectly, peppercorn sauce was thin and lacking depth of flavour, but not to bad it comes with the steak. I wouldnt pay extra for it. The main reason I left disappointed was the fact it cost me £41.95 for a steak meal and glass of coke, plus there was a service charge, but the service wasnt great, since my coleslaw was forgotten and no one come back to ask me how it was. I dont believe a fillet steak at £31 should be cut in half and sliced inside, all the flavour and juices would all run out before it gets to my plate. And I dont think it was rested properly since it only took 15 minutes to get to the table and it was a big chunk of meat. I would have been happy to pay £25 max. I must add i didnt raise these issues with the staff so i didnt give them the chance to recitfy it at the time. But it wasnt busy, there was only a few tables dining then myself. So somebody should have checked back after serving the meal. I would be very interested to see how it was back in 2023-2024 winning best restaurant in Cambridge compared to now.

I recently dined at Mina Steakhouse in Cambridge. The service was exemplary, with attentive and courteous staff who created a warm and welcoming environment. The interior design was particularly impressive, featuring a beautifully presented and stylish setting. However, I found the food to be bland, as it lacked depth of flavour and did not align with the expectations typically associated with a steakhouse. The mocktails were also disappointing and did not meet the anticipated standard. Additionally, the music was uncomfortably loud, making it difficult to fully relax and appreciate the dining environment. In summary, while the service and interior were of a high standard, the food, beverages, and atmosphere did not fully meet expectations.

The food seems pretty hit and miss. The truffle chicken burger had a piece of bright-orange plastic-style American cheese in lieu of the truffle cheese described on the menu. The chicken itself tasted like something unfrozen from the back of a freezer. Whole thing on the lower end of what I'd expect of pub food. The appetizers were good though. Others in the party seemed to enjoy their steaks.

We came here whilst passing through Cambridge and wanting to find a decent steakhouse. I had the seafood boil and my partner had a steak. My food wasn’t great, the potatoes were rock solid, just not cooked at all. The lobster was very chewy. My partner on the other hand said his steak was cooked incredibly and really enjoyed his meal, hence the three stars. I must say, I did feel very looked after by the staff, everyone was very accommodating and genuinely seemed to care and wanted people to be having a good meal.

I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The entire place smelled strongly of the kitchen because there is no door between the kitchen and the dining area, making it feel like you’re sitting inside the kitchen. It completely ruined the atmosphere. They also do not serve alcohol, which is not stated on their website, so it felt misleading. If this had been clear, I would not have booked. When you make a reservation, they ask for your credit card details, which is strange considering the restaurant is not busy at all. After my experience, I can see why. The food was not worth the price we paid — very disappointing quality. The whole place felt more like a low-level coffee shop than a proper restaurant. The service was poor: the cutlery was dirty, and the waiter even wiped the table in front of us using a dirty cloth, which was very off-putting and unprofessional. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. I would not return and do not recommend it.
