Casual spot with lots of outdoor and indoor seating. Order at the counter then they call out the number once your food is ready. You get your own utensils, napkins and sauces. Also malten vinegar and hot sauce were on each table. We stopped after a long morning at the beach and it was the perfect vacation lunch with the view and breeze in the marina. Fish and shrimp were light and crispy and my 5 year old ate 2 pieces so you know that's a win! Even though cooked perfectly it was a bit bland to my taste but with tartar sauce it definitely hit the spot. Fries were crispy and cole slaw was fresh. Prices were okay considering the location.

Located at the marina in Oceanside, this is a very casual restaurant with ample seating both inside and out. To start off, they cook with avocado oil. This must be a new thing since there was a sign at the entrance. Everything we ordered was light, crispy, season perfectly and was cooked up upon order. The portions were pretty generous, and the fish filet was huge. You can either get coleslaw or fries as your “chips”. The clam chowder was just OK, but it was still a very, very satisfying meal. Service was quick and very friendly.

Been here quite a few times over the years. I live only 15 min away. During much of the year, it can get very cold out here by the marina/harbor so dress comfortably warm unless it's the summer. Seating is tough during the warmer months when we have a boatload of tourists in town. There is inside and outside seating. Prices are a bit high but the fish pieces are huge. Lots of batter, which is fine if the fish is large too. They have beer at good prices. Service is excellent. They have really nice employees. Note: there is no bathroom here really. It's one of the biggest issues with these restaurants. Only Rockin' Baja Lobster and Dominics have their own bathroom that I'm aware of. There is one for outside, but it's dirty.

I brought my GF to the harbor. We walked by Harbor Fish and Chips and I remembered how good it was and suddenly felt hungry even though I had just eaten. Came back a little later and ate just as the sun was going down on a perfect Saturday afternoon. Some of the BEST FISH AND CHIPS I'VE EVER HAD. Will be RETURNING SOOON. Efrem behind the counter was GREAT. Park on the north side of Joe's Crab Shack which is free. Lot # 7 on the west side is a PAY LOT. I paid about $30 for a three-piece fish and chips with two sodas, including tax and tip. We Shared it and both EXTREMELY HAPPY.

Great spot for fish and chips! The portions were large, the food was delicious and the service was great! Loved the grilled fish and the coleslaw was fresh, the fries were crisp and the atmosphere exactly what we wanted while eating by the harbor.

I always walk by this place during my walk and I finally decided to go and try it out with my girlfriend. The employees were very nice and friendly. We got plate #3 with 3 fish and chips to share. It was very good but nothing special or unique. If you have been to other fish n chip places than it nothing different. The fries 🍟 that came with the fish were on the small size. Overall, I'm very happy to finally try it. Will go to Joe's Crabs Shack that not too far from this place and try them out. Besides fish n chips they do have hamburger 🍔 too and other dishes. So give them a try if you happen to be near by.

Yummy Alaskan cod fish and chips deep fried in avocado oil. We had the three pieces, two pieces with shrimp, and clam chowda. Clow slaw came with the three pieces of cod and was fresh made as it was crunchy and not saturated with mayo. You order up in the front and eagerly await your number to be called. The hot orders of seafood was great. Chowda rivals the best in Boston. The chips was the only thing that lagged at the same level of all the other foods we eat. Malt vinegar, lemons, tartar sauce, and ketchup are great accompaniments. The casual offered seating outside and we enjoyed shaded picnic style tables with great views of the boats and harbor. For credit card purchases, be prepared for a 3% fee.

I love seafood and I love that this place is right in the marina. I visited on a Friday while strolling around the Oceanside marina. First time here and a very positive experience. The menu has daily specials, for Friday it was the sampler platter for $23 (if I remember correctly). The fish and chips were super fresh but could had used more seasoning. Very casual, friendly staff.

Harbour Fish & Chips has a lot of charm and history, but unfortunately our meal didn’t live up to expectations. The biggest letdown was the fish itself—there wasn’t much actual fish inside the fried batter, which was disappointing, especially for a place that specializes in fish and chips. We were really hoping for a more filling, satisfying portion. Based on other reviews, it seems the experience can be inconsistent, and sadly ours fell on the disappointing side. On a positive note, the atmosphere is great. It definitely gives off a classic summer rental vibe, and it’s clear the place has been around for a long time. Reading through the articles and checking out all the memorabilia was fun and added character to the visit. While the setting and history were enjoyable, the food itself just didn’t meet expectations this time.

I was genuinely excited to come here after reading all of the wonderful reviews previous customers have left. I’m straight up disappointed after eating here for a few reasons. First off, the service was great! The ladies that take your order are super wonderful and nice people, definitely have a good working attitude, shows that they really care. Moving on to the food, it was quite a surprise. Two of the fish and chips out of the three barely had fish inside, it was 80% empty, just absolutely hollow inside. A couple of the other places I’ve tried have a LOT more fish inside let alone they tasted better. Clam chowder was a bit thick and a bit salty, the fries were nice. Other than that, it just wasn’t worth the steep price of almost 70 bucks for two individuals. Please add more fish inside your fish and chips 🙏

Unfortunately I would not recommend this place to any family or friends as to we were looking forward to trying this place out but ended up being really disappointed. We order 3pc fish basket, captain plate and clam chowder. Sadly the food literally has no taste and was NOT SEASONED!!! Fish pieces look big but once you take a bite it’s mainly batter, if you look at the pictures the batter is also not seasoned! This fish is so bland that when you use the condiments with it that’s all you taste. Our clam chowder came lukewarm and almost a gelatinous texture not like soupy chowder and under-seasoned. Our fries came out over cooked and dark brown. We paid about $58 and some change for everything but in my honest opinion it’s not worth that much. The service is great but sadly the food is not.
