OMG me and wife did instacart delivery in campo, we saw the campo cafe and stopped in , the staff is friendly we ordered the zucchini basket and plain burger because of my allergies and the cook finished someones order and then cleaned the grill just for my burger I was so impressed I will tell everyone I know to go check it out, Stephanie was a sweet lady and would come let us know it would be a little longer for our order Thank you for great service… Today 7/21/24 doing insta- cart me and wife stopped by for lunch Food was great as always, and only had one issue, but I don’t blame you guys This is our issue. The cheese quesadilla for My wife,. and I ordered the burger and no seasoning because of what I’m allergic to and we thought it would only come with mayo so when I got food, the cook asked my wife if I wanted ketchup she says no he can’t. He’s allergic, he should have took burger and say there is ketchup and mustard on the bun, when I bit my burger, realized there was ketchup and mustard in my burger, but it’s not your guys fault. I was in the bathroom at the time wife ordered, I should’ve took care But it’s OK , My mistake for not saying something ahead of time, but everything was awesome as usual. They had a group of like 8 to 10 people in there that like they’re having a good time. thank you again for great food and great service and of course we will be back again but this time I will make sure I order my food before I run into the bathroom. Absolutely delicious food, with an unbeatable price. Had the chilaquiles and mangonada smoothie. Both were top notch.

I eat out alot! All over the USA. That being said I can't tell you how surprised I was to found out that this small Cafe in our neighborhood has the BEST buffalo wings in San Diego and one of the best burgers I've ever had!! My compliments to the chef!...seriously Great food!!

I stopped by this cafe for lunch when I was visiting Campo to look at property. I was surprised that there is such a clean, quality food spot up the mountain. I had a roast beef sandwich which was delicious, and I was so shocked they even had sweet potato fries. Everything was made fresh and the service was so great. It had that friendly/family vibe and there was little to no wait. Highly recommend!

Food was great, service was awesome, and the place was clean. It was certainly worth stopping in for a bite to eat as we passed through town. The double cheese burger hit the spot, and their ranch dressing/dip was really good. We’ll be sure to stop by any time we are in the area.

Good food. Pleasant place to dine. Menu is perhaps too extensive and even though one a new electronic wall board, difficult to read. Chicken wings are great. Taco Tuesday is awesome.

First off, the staff is amazing. Second, I have ordered just about everything on the menu by now and everything is delicious. My favorite is the french dip or any pizza. And third, Jacob makes the best coffees hands down, soo much better than any starbucks.

The beef, prawns and seafood offerings could be hit and miss sometimes but you can't go wrong with Salsa, Tortilla Chips, Hokkaido Oysters and Cheap beer. Down it with their Double Whiskey Offerings and it's all good. With a million dollars view to boot. Always a great night out

Went to Campo Market and asked if the taco shop was good and they also let us know that Campo Cafe was available. We decided to try them out. We ordered the kid's cheeseburger, a jalepeño bacon cheeseburger and the croissant ham & egg sandwich. Serving size was good, cooked well done as we requested and the fries were super hot!!! Nothing better than having hot fries while enjoying a burger! Fries were still warm with my last bite of burger. My husband enjoyed his chocolate shake. The topper was they had gluten free hamburger buns!!!

Since the new owners took over, the quality of the food has improved greatly. The burger is 100% Angus beef, the pizza had nice stretchy cheese and not too greasy. The atmosphere has a friendly local vibe, a place where the staff remember what your name is and how you like your eggs.

Great food!! I had the cheese steak . If you find yourself here in eastern San Diego Id recommend this great food!

Best kept secret!: Campo Cafe' - 11/18/25 Kept seeing this place on facebook. Had to check it out. Did not disappoint! Easy to access, plenty of parking. Handicap accessible. Large seating area, comfortable. Counter staff, excellent friendly, informative. Interior. Clean. ***Wings (12) - big, hot, Juicy, buffalo hot ( and I'm from Buffalo)...ON POINT! 5+ would of never known they weren't from Buffalo. Great job. ***1/2 side Onion Rings (6 huge) again, on point! 5+ Turkey Sub... This! The veggies fresh! Plentiful, nicely cut. Turkey good quality. Now The sub roll..... Thats what makes a sub a sub and this also did NOT disappoint! Again 5+. I got mine toasted. Highly recommend. Three for three! Couldn't lose anyway I went. The food was kick ***! ♥️ There wasn't one thing I could put was negative. None. If I had to have 1, it'd be to say, there should be a chain and a few other locations. Such a drive, but, so worth it. Go Check them out on your way to the back country mountains. You'll be glad you did. I've eaten here three times and haven't been disappointed. Two times I had to take the orders to go since I hadn't packed a lunch those days and once was a sit down and dine with family. I've ordered pizza, chicken tenders and French dip and all three were delicious. Pizza was one of the best I've ever had but the French dip topped it. I'll definitely go back and try other items on the menu. Service was slow but can't fault the staff since they are understaffed.

This place is so good!! I'm from Philly and their pizza is just as good! Fresh dough, soft and bubbly crust, good sauce and made right(with toppings mixed with cheese, not just thrown on top)! Staff is super friendly, restaurant is open industrial, very clean, good variety of drinks/snacks and a big menu! And I highly recommend the vanilla shake with caramel drizzle!🤤 To die for!! My usual is a sausage, green pepper and olive pizza with that shake!! Soooo good! And very reasonably priced!!

If you decide to come here, which you should, you owe it to yourself to order their SMASHBURGER. It's one of the best burgers I've enjoyed in my entire life. The service takes a long time, but such is life!

Decent little spot in campo to grab food. Been here for breakfast lunch and dinner. This last time I had the breakfast burrito it was ok but it was bland needed to season the eggs

Good burgers and good service. It was really busy when everyone showed up all at the same time. Took a little longer for the food, but it was worth the wait. The server let me know it would take longer due to the volume of customers who all came in at the same time. Very pleasant to sit outside on a nice day to enjoy the sun and breeze.

My cauliflower crust, 12" pizza tonight was awesome! Ordered by phone & it was ready & waiting for me when I got there. I'm gluten intolerant so that's a treat! I'd give 5 stars but their prices are outrageous.

I followed that with, "So if I order it medium rare, will it actually come out medium rare?" And she said that it would. After waiting a ridiculously long amount of time, especially for a dead slow restaurant, the burger came out very well done. And the cheese was pathetically thin. I didn't know that you could slice cheese as thin as a business card. I was so looking forward to coming here and drove out of my way to eat here. Never again. What a very disappointing experience. I'm leaving here pissed off. What a waste of time and money.

The food is awful, and overpriced. The portion sized are unacceptable, and the food is very underwhelming, typically very dry. Nothing is consistent, and all depends on who's working. I wouldn't waste my money here. I paid $11 for a 3 piece chicken tender basket, and 2 of the tenders were the size of a finger. Staff members are really nice though.

The food was pretty bad (my patty melt had raw onions), but at least it took forever... The price reflects a spot that has delicious food with fast service; this place has neither.

I came to Campo cafe with my friends to get brunch, it was slow and should have been a good time since every other time I've came here it has been quick and consistent service. THIS TIME the mocha peanut butter frappe I bought tasted like there was more powder than milk and ice, the ice wasn't all the Crushed. I ordered a mocha frappe and got an iced coffee. We ordered two shakes and only got one then when we asked for our other one we completely got gaslight and told we didn't order a second one so we had to buy another milkshake which took the barista 10 minutes to make. Our second milkshake we couldn't even drink out of because the amount of caramel that was thrown in obviously because of the ladies annoyance of having to make more drinks. I may never come here again, this experience completely ruined my opinion about Campo cafe. Either hire more competent people to replace these or hire more people in general since having three tables is considered BUSY.

Salty hamburger 🍔 if your looking for the mustard container you can fine it next to the bathroom toilet as a cleaning 🧼 solution eww would I dear to trust the ketchup bottle on the counter. If you don't mind dry humor on staff then this is the place for you. 3 cook and two runners u would think this place would run faster. I hope they hire more people. The Milkshake are good. Front door is NOT wheelchair friendly.
