Brisas is hands down the best Colombian food in New Jersey. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years, and it somehow gets better every time! The food is consistently phenomenal, authentic, flavorful. A special shoutout to Juan David, hes so friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive. Truly one of the best food service experiences I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to be back again soon. Highly recommend!

Loved the restaurant theme. It was like going on a journey to Columbia. The food was excellent and the drinks were good. I would definitely go back to the restaurant . The only thing that I wouldn’t recommend is the bakery part, not because of the pastry. I wouldn’t recommend it because of the lady that works in that part has a horrible attitude problem. I don’t know how can an owner have such a person like that dealing with customers service. They must understand that she is representing the face of the bakery. She should be in the back, far away from the customers. I seen plenty of bad reviews on her, she must be related to someone there to still be in work in that position.

This restaurant is of the highest quality Colombian food on the East coast! If you have the opportunity to eat here I recommend the Entraña platter. Lucas was our server for the night and the attention to our table and atmosphere of the restaurant was unmatched. Very very satisfied!

I love absolutely everything about this restaurant. FOOD IS AMAZING they have a bakery next door attached to the restaurant and another bakery up the street I haven’t had a single thing that wasn’t amazing I love this place great place to go on a date take your family even go for lunch and the bakery is next door so if you want to grab a bite for breakfast lunch or dinner you have the option to just pick up and go not to mention it’s family owned and they make you feel so welcome from the owners to the employees it such a great environment the aesthetics of the place are beautiful it’s almost as if they took a piece of Columbia and brought to to Elizabeth NJ I love it highly recommend visiting

I had to check this restaurant just because it has my name on it. Shout out to the guy on the counter - beautiful energy. A colorful, cozy, inspiring, happy place to be at. I had a capuccino and a dessert. Delightful experience.

I went to Elizabeth to get some Colombian food. A friend recommended this restaurant. I ordered a bandeja paisa since I usually don’t know what else to get at a Colombian restaurant 😅. They had a vegetarian version that my girlfriend got to try, it wasn’t nothing amazing but it was an option.

The food was amazing, the atmosphere of the place is very typical and pleasant. Lucas, the waiter who served us, was very friendly and helpful. One hundred percent recommended if you are looking for something typical Colombian and delicious.

Awesome Colombian vibes. The general manager showed me around and how the restaurant is authentic Colombian. The veggie empanadas were the best I have had in my life. Crispy outside soft inside. The coffee was great as well. Very friendly people, laughing smiling asking taking good care. I felt like I was transported to Colombia for the moment. Definitely make a visit.

We stumbled into this exotic restaurant by accident since we rarely visit this neighborhood. It is a great surprise since we really enjoyed the decor and brunch . coffee are great too! We forgot our umbrella there but went back to pick them up the day after. Great services. The one downside is that it’s hard to find parking spots on that busy street.

Had brunch at the restaurant. Huge menu and everything we ordered was great. The breakfast dish that was a combination of a toasted cheesy arepa, grilled beef, and fried rice blew my mind. What’s not to love! We also ordered pork in pineapple sauce which came recommended on the menu. It was very unique but the combination of cheese and pineapple and ham, ala a Hawaiian pizza, on a pork chop was little odd for me. Portions were huge and it was a good, heavy meal. I am such a fan of this restaurant and neighborhood and will be back even though it’s a little out of the way for me

I stopped by for the first time today for breakfast, planning to eat inside. The bakery looks cozy and inviting, but the atmosphere felt a bit off, maybe it was just a busy morning. I ordered a sandwich and a small coffee, which took about 15–20 minutes. The staff asked a few times about the coffee size and sandwich details, but I appreciated their effort to clarify. I decided to take my order home since the TV was quite loud and it didn’t feel very relaxing inside. Once home, I realized they had added onions even though I had asked for none. Maybe I just came on an off day, but my experience wasn’t quite what I hoped for.

I had to wait until after I was finished and had received the check to finally get the drink I ordered at the beginning. Just a suggestion, but it would be great if the servers could check on their tables a few minutes after the food is served to make sure everything is okay."
