We drove here for dinner on a Thurs night and was surprised to see very little people dining here after seeing all the reviews. It's located upstairs in a strip mall with gated parking. The ambiance was a bit too dark but did feel a bit of the Koream kpop vibe with the loud music. Prices are on the higher side but it was expected as there are not too many Korean options in Cancun. We ordered bbq meats, Korean pancake, bimbimbap, and noodles. To our surprise the food was delicious. The owner is Korean and I think the recipes are authentic and the taste was spot on. I would come back, maybe on a weekend when the place is more lively inside.

Tried Oh my Ggogi recently and overall, it was a decent and comforting meal. The ramen was served steaming hot, topped with fresh green onions — visually very inviting. The broth had a spicy, savory base that’ll probably hit the spot for anyone craving something bold and warming. I also had a side plate with kimbap, grilled chicken, and what looked like a crispy pancake. The kimbap was nicely rolled and fresh, and the variety on the plate made it fun to try a bit of everything. That said, the flavors didn’t fully wow me — they were okay, just not super standout. The place itself is clean and casual, and service was quick, which I appreciated. If you’re in the mood for a no-fuss Korean-style meal that’s filling and affordable, Oh my Ggogi is a solid option to check out.

Service was friendly. Bibimbap was very good. Meat was a lil burnt tho. Drinks came after 20 minutes. Main dish came 20 minutes later and complements like kimchi and red cabbage 10 minutes after we finished our main. For desert we got our appetizers.

After 10 days in Mexico, we were craving something familiar and decided to try this Korean restaurant based on the reviews. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. The bulgogi was overly sweet and lacked the depth of flavor you’d expect — no hint of sesame oil, and the beef was cut far too thick. The doenjang jjigae didn’t taste like doenjang at all; it was greasy, bland, and when we asked for some doenjang paste to adjust the flavor ourselves, they didn’t provide it. Rice was too hard. We weren’t expecting perfection, but it was still beyond disappointing.

The idea of grilling the food yourself at the table was definitely a fun experience and created a lively atmosphere. The food itself was alright. However, the value for money was disappointing. For the high price, we expected more in terms of portion size, variety, and overall quality. While it’s worth trying once for the experience, it simply felt too expensive for what was offered.

The food and service here are mostly enjoyable. However, the plumbing was not working during our visit over spring break, and my friend was unable to use the restroom for the duration of the meal. This made for an uncomfortable and rushed experience. The cleanliness of those out-of-order facilities were also entirely lacking, and it is right next to the kitchen. One visit was enough for us.

My wife was craving for Korean food during our vacation in Cancun. This place is not authentic Korean cuisine. I don’t think the owners are Korean. We ordered their beef bbq set. Quite over priced, so we thought it should be good. It was all wrong. The dipping sauces, banchan (side dishes), egg soufflé, soybean paste soup (looked more like Japanese miso soup), and the meat marinade flavor was off. We are both ethnically Korean, and have had Korean food all over the world. I usually let her choose Korean restaurant when we are traveling. This time she was so sorry that she chose this restaurant! I felt bad. If you are looking for good Korean food in Cancun, this is NOT the place!

If I could give zero stars, I would. What a horrendous establishment. We arrive at 21:30 hoping for some food after a long and tedious travel day… they refused to open the kitchen! Despite google saying they are open and serving up until 22:00. Also mentioned they needed to do some fumigation, I can only imagine the state of the kitchen. Awful service - coming from someone who has worked in hospitality for 5+ years, get your timings right! Two tired travellers who were just searching anywhere for some quick food and were turned away half an hour before they were due to close…. Clearly just couldn’t be bothered.
