We ordered vegetable salad, suckling pig (spectacular!), baby goat chops, Arzuaga wine, and for dessert, dulce de leche (amazing!) and a chocolate crepe. A wonderful gastronomic experience.

We ate from the menu. The vegetable salad was delicious, the Iberian pork secret was very tender and came with delicious homemade fries, and the goat cheese roll dessert was spectacular. We loved the combination of cheese and honey and the grilled flavor. The service from both the owner and her father was excellent, very friendly. They have a Sunday menu for €29. The location couldn't be better, with views of Playa Mayor and the Casa de las Flores. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

Highly recommended! Located in Candeleda's main square, the food is delicious, flavorful, and offers unbeatable value. We loved it! Highly recommend the shoulder of goat, the warm salads, and a special mention to the Ávila ribeye steak and the grilled goat cheese dessert. 10/10 service and a great atmosphere. Best to book!

We were very happy with our choice of restaurant. We had the set menu for €17 per person, with a variety of starters and main courses. Everything we ordered was delicious and plentiful: beans, a warm salad with a variety of mushrooms, Iberian pork shoulder with and without sauce (the sauce and the meat were very juicy), crispy and delicious fries, nougat ice cream, and cheesecake. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and pleasant. The dining room on the ground floor is comfortable and welcoming with views of the square; there's another one upstairs. If we return to the area, we'll definitely be back...

The restaurant is at the village main square. Having two main rooms (ground floor and 1st floor) it's decorated in a local rustic way and feels cozy. The day we went the restaurant was at 50% of total capacity, so the stay was quieter and more pleasant than usual. We were three people for lunch and we asked for roast goat kid, lamb ribs, octopus, baby squid and a salad with roasted vegetables and serrano ham. All the plates looked mouth-watering and were generous in quantity. Main meat dishes had chips and fried peepers as sides. Of course we also had bread. Finally we had 'fried milk' and chocolate crepes with vanilla ice cream for pudding. All tested delicious. Food was served in a reasonable time and prices were slightly cheaper than similar meals at bigger cities' restaurants. If you want Spanish rustic yet classy food this place is perfect.

Everything was good except for the lamb chops, which were completely rancid and a disappointment. The rest of the food was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was excellent.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was an exquisite blend of tradition with slightly more modern touches, all well prepared with quality ingredients. We shared croquettes, asparagus, and beans. The waitress was extraordinarily friendly and gave us great recommendations. It's right on the town square, which seemed pretty even during the holiday season.

I appreciate being allowed to eat without a reservation. We were able to have a set menu for 25 euros on a Sunday. Ordering the menu felt a bit strange. We started with black pudding pie, which was quite good, and for our main course, we had sirloin tips with foie gras and mushroom sauce. In my opinion, the foie gras was more like ordinary pâté because it was defatted, and the mushroom sauce overpowered all the flavor. We also ordered the lamb chops, which were quite tasty. For dessert, we had nougat ice cream and cheesecake. I recommend booking in advance.

A classic restaurant featuring local produce, expertly prepared and with generous portions. We were pleasantly surprised by the cod scramble with ratatouille and the duck. The ribeye steak is very good value for money, though not exceptional. The waiters are very friendly and the dining room is pleasant, located on the main beach in Candeleda.

A tavern-style restaurant with a wide range of high-quality dishes accompanied by other typical and traditional dishes that stand out for both their quality and quantity. We decided to start the meal with a wide variety of starters, highlighting the ratatouille scrambled eggs with black pudding, the typical local pâté, the croquettes, and the sweetbreads. All of them were finger-licking good. For main courses, we ordered roast suckling pig and oxtail. Both dishes presented a tremendous appearance, confirmed by their exquisite flavor. To top it off, we ordered innovative desserts such as iced milk, goat cheese medallions with honey and jam, fried milk with dulce de leche, and the traditional cheesecake. 🍰 The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Without a doubt, this is a recommended visit on any trip or stop in the beautiful town of Candeleda. ✅

This place is in a great location. I had the duck confit which was very tasty but very dry. The waitress was very friendly and the restaurant quaint and cosy. Price is a bit in the rich side, and the wines are way overpriced.

We were recommended to eat here but stood waiting outside to open at 20.30 but the restaurant remained closed even although the information said it would be open in the evening. Too bad. We had a really good meal elsewhere.
