We notice! For a while I thought this Popeyes was going downhill but after my recent visit, I don’t know if they change managers or what but this was my favorite experience at a Popeyes that I have ever had and I only went through the drive-through . Not only were the biscuits butteryyyyyy, but my mashed potatoes were a perfect balance with the gravy, and my chicken was fresh! The way I know that they have gone over and above is they provided me with moist towel packets in my to order that was individually packed according to my order! All popeyes can follow this example, this will be the best restaurant in America

stopped by, placed my order thru the drive thru line. I got a breast and wing and fries with the drink. my meal was very fresh. forgot to ask for sauce, so i had to run in and the manager bre was such a great help. the staff was friendly as well when coming in. Keep up the good work

Had to order on the app to get a particular special and could not get pay to go thru..they don't take Discover so had to put in another card. Flounder Sandwich was good! 1st time eating inside in 30 years, it was really clean with no smells.

I had the most pleasant experience with exceptional service received tonight. The vibe I felt was genuine and sincere. I wish I caught his name. Tuesday special always my jam. The chicken is full of flavor and juicy. I am surprised at the low start ratings-my experience was very positive. I came into this restaurant after having a bad experience with Panda Express next door which is crazy. When I came in the Manager I'm assuming came to the counter to assist me. I asked him could I have my food made fresh and he said yes, I gave him my code and the customer service was amazing, he didn't question my order, he literally made my order how I requested it to be made, he was kind and very patient with me because yes I was upset from how the food place next door treated me. This manager needs a raise and needs some PTO time given he is the real definition of being professional and he knows what customer service is really like on a higher level than most fast food places. Whoever the African American guy that's working right now second shift needs a raise Period and I said what I said.. He was very polite and very respectable. He knows who he is 3/12/2025 8pm Manager on a Wednesday...... God bless him

Best Popeyes I've ever had in my life. Everything literally had me in tears. Because it's extremely rare to get chicken this good at Popeyes. I go between 10:30am-1pm so I can't speak for any other time frame. YOU MUST TRY IT. You won't regret it

Our cashier Barry was the chillest and most friendly guy I’ve ever met at a fast food place. The food was really good and made fresh as we ordered and tasted great. I’ll definitely be coming back within a few weeks.

I got helped out by Paloma today, and all I have to say is that it was greater service, I got a 14 piece family bundle and although I got there an hour before closing the chicken was freshly cooked for me. I was also able to talk to the manager and he was a friendly guy. I will be definitely be coming back again.

Not only did we get some of the freshest, most delicious wings and chicken we’ve had in quite some time, the gentleman serving us at the register was so attentive and kind. He made sure we were well taken care of, even though they were busy with drive through orders, and he went above and beyond for us even after we ordered and were seated. The restaurant was well taken care of and incredibly clean. You can tell the staff at this location take pride in their work - their food quality and service show that! They deserve to be celebrated.

Painting going on but won’t knock atmosphere over how nice picking up at the drive thru was and the bone-in lemon pepper wings with Popeye’s Sauce! So good!

06/24/25: We ordered the Tues Special. It was served in minutes. The staff and manager were fantastic! Popeyes has "the best" biscuits in the world!!! 03-10-23:. Thank you manager Rosario for an excellent experience! We have been coming here for years. And sometimes we've experienced less than satisfactory service. With Rosario here who speaks Spanish English Nigerian she is a fireball and she's awesome! Ms of all the food is pretty good too!

The shrimp were fairly detailed out to show I got the 8 described, so there could be no fault. The fact of varying shrimp size was rather strange, but also can't be at fault...cuz their distributors are "skimping". Popeye's is great. Their distributors are just getting worse and will get worse because of today's economy. Expect less product for more soon, as capitalism demands.

Came here on lunch with three of my co-workers to try the infamous chicken sandwich. I ordered the spicy one, with no pickles. They skipped my order number twice so I went to check and it just appears they missed it. I was then told they didn't have the sandwich with no pickles, so that led me to assume these are prepackaged, okay. I don't eat Popeye's but maybe once a year, regular's likely knew this already. Anywho, get my order and the meat is warm but the buns are not. Lol The sandwich wasn't that great in my opinion. Customer service was very friendly and despite the line inside and line outside in the drive-thru, the orders came fairly quickly (at least for my co-workers). That is why I still gave the 4 stars.

Spicy chicken sandwich is worth the wait. All the hype is going to back up the lines so I can't complain too much. Sauce was barely noticeable hence 4/5. Clean location.

Service is quick as long as you order ahead use the app. I’ve never had an issue when placing an order through the app. In the times I’ve ordered at the window it has taken a little longer than I would have liked. The food here is as good as any location and they’re been consistent.

Food was Popeyes usual. Staff needs some improvement. Lady working the counter was hurrying too much and treating folks like numbers to be moved through instead of as customers she was glad to have stop by. Also, they were out of spicy chicken at 5:40 dinner time. That's just poor planning and not paying attention. They can do better all through.

I can never get a hold of this place over the phone. Can never order their Cajun Turkey they advertise pre-Thanksgiving. We avoid most of their sides because they contain pork, unfortunately. I got two coleslaws with my meal. Both were 75% full at most. If you must order from this Popeye's, I highly recommend you check your stuff. Better yet, go in, and check everything right there and then.

So this Popeyes is in the oddest setting I ordering through the drive-thru the cashier was friendly and I did get my food fast but waited about eight minutes for my drink that they forgot while the supervisor was in the kitchen buttering buns instead of coming up to the window to see what was wrong and he just looked at me until he asked some to the window to see if I needed anything and that's when I got my drink plus my food was odd half was fresh the other stale

Its different from they opened first time long time ago, the flour was not thin anymore, 4 years ago I could eat skin so crispy thin flour. Popeyes in old denton is better than Popeyes Hebron.

Staff could have been nicer. I walked in and I think the manager was training a cashier. Which, no big deal, but I wasn't acknowledged at all. Just stood there and waited and finally walked out to go through the drive through. Then they got my order wrong after all that. Food is great though!

Went around 8:30p & biscuit was barely warm & wasn't soft, chicken was not hot & the male teenage manager was rude on the intercom. Got to the window & the lady still had to ask what drink did I order. Where is the good customer service these days? If there are no customers, you have no business. Think about it!

Pretty slow service and I've been there twice when they open and they didn't unlock doors until 30 min after open. Once they ran out of chicken and didn't post a note or any notice to the door. Had undercooked chicken another time. I did a mobile order and was forgotten about. When I finally asked the cashier she had to put in a new order and then just handed me not fresh sandwiches Seems like this place needs new management. I prefer the food to chic fil a but customer service is so terrible I'd rather go to chic fil a

Half the time, when you arrive at this location, the doors are locked and the dining room is closed. They don't put out any sort of sign that tells you the dining room is closed so you have to park, get Out of your car, walked to the door and find out that the door is locked. Right now I'm in the drive-through and I've been sitting here for about 15 minutes waiting for some chicken sandwiches. Considering that the dining room is closed I don't know why it's taking them so long to make food. It would be great if they would staff this place properly or shut it down. The good news is that there's a cane's opening soon and I won't have to sit in the drive-through anymore.

I along with the cars behind me had to wait till they fixed assisted a customer that left the drive thru. It took them almost ten minutes to acknowledge me at the window because their only concern collectively was the previous order. Not to mention I had to wait for to them not having my order ready within 20 minutes of waiting. My lunch break was over by the time I made it back and they forgot my side item. Poor customer service experience overall.

Long time to get my order and order wasn't even properly fulfilled. There were 3 ladies and only one older lady was working the drive through and taking order inside and also working on making the sandwiches while other 2 was just talking with each other. First time I visited they got my order wrong, second time also order was wrong and third time when I was the only customer took too long to get my sandwich. I gave them 3 chances to male it right and now this is tje last time I will visit there.

Food is great. Just wish I didn't have to wait a long time for a single box meal after being made to move past the drive thru window when there's no one else in line, and see people behind me getting larger orders. I go inside and ask for my order, and only then do they start to make my box meal and it takes a minute? Very bizarre experience. I feel like I would've been out there all day off I didn't go in. Happens all the time.

I'm not sure why chicken at Popeyes in North Texas taste like they didn't even open the seasoning that is shipped with the chicken but it does. It also wasn't fried long enough. When I removed the skin it was just all mushy flour on the underside. Very disappointing 2 piece. Like throwing $8 in the trash. A new one is being built in Carrollton but I'll likely only eat Popeyes when I'm in South Louisiana where it actually taste good and where the spicy is actually spicy.

I'm not sure what happened with my order today, but it was horrible! I ordered a family meal to feed our family for tonight and was highly upset I even stopped to get fast food. The mashed potatoes and biscuits were the only thing worth eating. The chicken tasted old and had little-to-no seasoning. The fries tasted like they had been re-dropped in the grease to reheat (hard and greasy). And the most disgusting looking breast was what did it for me (picture included). Why would you sell anything like this?!! I used to brag about this location, but recently something changed that needs to change back. The quality is going downhill at this location. This is not how I wanted to spend my hard earned money tonight!

I can't tell you the number of times we've had issues here. One time got reg chicken not spicy, one time the chicken was so dry it was almost jerky, one time we got mashed potatoes and had ordered red beans and rice. The last and final straw was my wife and I went in to get an all dark/spicy bucket. Was told it would take 10-15 minutes as they were out. We decided to wait. After 20+ minutes we went back up to the register to see when it'd be ready. Well they did cook some more but then gave it to all the drive thru customers. We were told it would be another 10-15 minutes. "Fast Food"... I don't think so. Every time we've gone in there it is a completely different crew. If I could give this place a negative number review I would. The problem is I really like Popeye's and this place is really convenient. I just don't need the aggravation anymore.

Do the community a solid and close this franchise; WORSE POPEYES EVER! After waiting 18 minutes for my order of two 5 piece tenders, 2 mash potatoes, 2 cole slaw and 2 biscuits ($30), in the drive through; the order was completely wrong. Instead of two 5 pieces we got 3 pieces, 1 mash potatoes and 1 cole slaw. I called the location, they answered the phone "hello"; I had to ask if it was Popeyes. When I told the lady the situation she wanted to argue with me; she could not care less that the entire order was wrong. Never ever again will I stop at this franchise. You should seriously reconsider a decision to use this Popeyes....it is really bad. Tomorrow I am calling corporate about this franchise, they need to know how bad it really is. There is a Canes and Chick-fil-A (I would not eat at a Chick-fil-A because they discriminate) right down the street. Canes will get my business or I will drive to a Popeyes further from my house.

Sorry to say that my first review of this place was "great sandwich " but a myriad of service problems. I came back only because that highly touted sandwich was very good. The last two times the sandwich failed the taste test because it was not freshly made. I am no polyglot, but I can usually get by with Spanish speaking servers and I admire the employees ability to speak more than one language. But the communication problem is too great for me to overcome and errors and frustration leads to poor service attitudes. I am sorry to say I won't be back. Follows is first review from a month ago: "Chicken sandwich that got all the hype is absolutely delicious. This location is the worst run place I have ever been in. Drive thru window cashier disappears around the corner after taking my card for payment. Don't do that-when you have my card keep the transaction right in front of me. Place is dirty and so understaffed and untrained I feel sorry for these employees. Shut it down for a couple of days, clean it from top to bottom, and train the staff.

I’m so disappointed. I should have known something was wrong when my order was ready when I got to the window and nobody was in front of me. Fries were cold. Sandwich was cold. I know it wasn’t made fresh because I asked for extra pickles and they were served on the side. Is it too much to ask for a freshly cooked meal? If I wanted leftovers I needed to warm up, I would have eaten at home.

Horrible. I got a blackened ranch combo and it took them 20 mins, also I’m on a lunch break. I get to my job and open my sandwich and it looks like no effort was made to the point to where I had to look up a picture online and compare. There was drama while I was waiting at the drive through window where it sounded like they were arguing over my combo being made. I’m incredibly dissatisfied with the service and the food.

Worse every time I come here, hoping it'd be better. I knew the drive thru here takes forever, so decided to use the app to place an order for pick up inside. Doors locked when I arrived so ended up having to wait in the drive thru line for 25 minutes! When I finally got to the speaker, I was told to just drive up to the window. The order hadn't even been started!!! Finally got the food, the bun on the sandwiches were just plain cold, as in just out of the fridge cold! 40 minutes for a couple sandwiches! I couldn't even just leave because I was already charged for it thru the app!

Worst food! Each time I visit this location I ALWAYS have to ask them to take my food and give me fresh food. The employees always have an attitude because I had the audacity to expect my food to be hot and fresh. The manager did call me back after the last incident, however, he seemed to brush off my complaint and he never once apologized for my bad experiences at this location. Needless to say I will never visit this location again!!! They could not lure me back with the offer of free food! I will drive 10 miles to Lewisville for a better grade of food and customer service.

I feel utterly disappointed in our dinner today. We ordered 2 large mashed potatoes and 1 cajun rice among all the others. Instead of giving us 2 mashed potatoes, they gave us red bean and rice. In our family, everyone despised red beans and the french fries were not fresh and crispy at all. They tasted like it was around 2 days old and they were very mushy and gross. We also ordered a mix of black meat and white meat, but they only gave us white meat. Most of the people in our family dislike white meat, but my son likes the breasts so we had to order the mix. This has been constantly a problem every time I ordered Popeyes. They always mess up the order, gives us the wrong food, and they didn’t even give us our 3 sides once. I’m rethinking on coming here ever again considering all the complicated mess I’ve been experiencing with Popeyes. I would not have been writing a review and wasting my time if your phone number would work. Please fix your service and your phone number so we can contact you very soon.

The woman at the speaker completely ignored us as soon as we pulled up and then proceeded to have a conversation with another employee, with her mic on. We tried to get her attention and she ignored us. We had 2 combos, very simple order and she was still having a conversation with another associate while attempting to take our order so she kept getting it wrong. When we corrected her, she began to try to argue saying that was not what we had said first. It was two of the same combos, nothing crazy. Then when we pull up to the window, we're told that they only have spicy which isn't what we wanted. The young guy handing food and taking payments at drive thru was wonderful though. At that point we just took the spicy and went home, since we had been waiting so long. When we get home we open the boxes and see that the chicken is so old and dry that it looked like only chicken skins, and everything else in the order was wrong. Completely different sides. Don't do it, stay away from this location at all costs 🙃

i always have the worse experience at this location, they always get my order wrong, and when i get off and ask them for my missing stuff they get bothered by it, also my food was NOT fresh everything was cold, cold fries hard biscuit my chicken was pink and the skin was off the chicken. stopped by sunday night and it was nothing but teenagers working which ok i get it but they could use alotttttt of training because they are rude! no costumer service skills, no manners.from reading the reviews im not the only one who thinks these things please work on this.

The black older lady with the old raspy voice taking the drive through orders is very rude. We sat there waiting for her and then she came over the intercoms rudely rushing us to order. Stating, “time is of the essence, hello!” Wow, she should be moved to taking out the trash. Her customer service is horrible.

If I had the option to put less than one star, I would've chosen it. The list of things that went wrong with my order is quite long, but I'm only going to name a few. I ordered 3 spicy chicken sandwiches, and instead of giving me three, THEY GAVE ME TWO AND FOR THE THIRD, THEY GAVE ME A SANDWICH BAG WITH FRIES IN IT AND NO SANDWICH. Sure, I should've checked before I left the restaurant, but instead I TRUSTED these people to give me what I asked for. SO when I came home, and saw what they did, I decided to call the number on the receipt. The number sent me straight to voicemail and THEIR VOICEMAIL BOX WAS FULL. So I drove all the way to the store, AGAIN, to get my money back. I walked in and the manager was sitting right there. I told him my situation, and all of a sudden, another employee barged into our conversation and tried to take matters into her own hands. She said I should go home and come back with the entire order for them to give me my third sandwich, not even my money back. Basically to sum up my entire TERRIBLE experience with this location, DO NOT EVER GO HERE. You would think that they would value their customers and own up to their mistakes, but instead they argue with their customers to get themselves off the hook. They have terrible customer service and I would never go back again.

I ordered 24 nuggets while sitting in the drive thru. I go to pick up the order, they’re out of nuggets. Nothing offered in exchange and no one knew how to cancel it. I talked with the bot in the app, canceled the order and should expect a refund in 5-7 business days. You have got to be kidding me! Account deleted, app removed, all in time to enjoy some nuggets from Chick-fil-A but without the hassle. Suggestions: The app shouldn’t let you purchase something that’s out - it’s 2023, post-COVID. Restaurants should have a functioning mobile order system. Employees who work for a restaurant with a inefficient ordering system should offer a refund, a gift card, or other food item in return. I left with no food and less money. It’s not difficult, really? No one’s food is that good. A spicy chicken sandwich is only as good as the service. The only good part was the AI in the app, ironic.

I order from this Popeye's about 2x a week and at times it is hit or miss. However these last 2 visits were horrible. I did an online pickup order I didn't check my order upon receiving it. When I got home realized it was wrong & went back luckily it's literally 3 mins away. Yet again they still gave me the wrong order.

If I could give 0 stars I def would. I went to this store, 6 months pregnant after working 12+ hrs for a meal. I used my card I wanted classic chicken all they had was spicy. I was told 15 min wait. It took them over an hour to complete my order then when I requested a refund the "manager " who I felt was dismissive and prejudice was very rude. I asked for corporates number and she refused to give it and it's not on the website. No only was I hungry, preg, and tired but the service was awful. I even tried to call the store and the phone does not even ring. Just sad.

NEVER have I ever been so disgusted with an establishment and received such poor customer service! I ordered food today at this location and specifically asked for fresh made food, I was assured by the cashier at the window “Ms. Dorothy” that my food would be fresh, to my disappointment, my food was NOT fresh, I returned to the window to ask for a refund, prepared to return the food with my receipt. Ms. Dorothy rudely takes the food as she proceeds to ask for my drink back, turns to the staff inside and states she knows the food isn’t cold and shuts the window in my face as I’m speaking to her. I was not rude, I was in fact very nice to her, she met me with unnecessary attitude, the general manager then comes to the window, Ms. Dorothy continues to yell that “she’s a 62 year old woman that doesn’t answer to some little girl”, in fact, I’m no little girl but a paying customer that is well over the little girl age. She proceeds to yell at her manager and threatens him to fire her! The manager was not helpful, I forgot to ask his name, but he clearly wasn’t respected by this poor of an excuse for a woman and employee. I then proceeded to ask for the corporate phone number, the manager reports not having the information. I then asked if the number on my receipt was correct to speak with the store owner, the manager reported the store having no working phones. I HAVE NEVER been treated so poorly at an establishment, especially by a woman professing to be 62 years of age! Popeyes do better or you will be a distant memory one day due to this piss poor customer service! I will NEVER take my funds to another Popeyes franchise! Popeyes you have Ms. Dorothy to thank for this!

This place needs an overhaul from the building to the staff. I walked in today and there was a woman behind the counter in plain sight eating a chicken sandwich and having a conversation with the staff while customers stood there waiting to be served. They were out of fries, so I was given 3 wings in place. The wings were definitely old and had been sitting (my visit was at 12pm) or been there overnight. Management has to do a better job at cleaning this place and serving fresh hot food. I've been working in this area 18 years and have come here on a few occasions and it's the same result! I come to this Popeyes 2-3 times a month and have never had a bad service except for today. I hate to leave bad reviews but this one I have to. Employee (in training) took my order wrong and when I drove to the front, the lady (supervisor or manager, not sure) (did not have a name tag) read my order to me and I politely told her it was wrong and she told me with an attitude that’s what I ordered. I calmly responded to her again that it was incorrect and this is the same order I place every time I come. She continued her attitude. I stayed quiet Not to escalate anything and after receiving my food, I asked for her name and she responded with more attitude and said why do you want my name, I’m not giving you my name. I needed to report her attitude as she was obviously a supervisor or manager and doesn’t feel that she would be reported. She shouted in front of the other employees around her so that gave me the impression that no one was managing her. I’m very unhappy as I treat everyone with respect. The problem is when you think you don’t have responsibility for your actions. Her attitude was very rude even though I was nice the entire time. She needs to be disciplined accordingly as that is not how a lead should be. I support this Popeyes because i enjoy this location and the food but I can’t support employees acting out and I just won’t support a business that supports that.

Never have I felt so disrespected by the GM of a restaurant. I NEVER write reviews ever, but this awful woman named Stephanie who told me she was the GM was so horrible I had to let people know before they went to this location. I ordered delivery on the POPEYES WEBSITE, and when the order was supposed to be delivered I received an email FROM POPEYES saying that my order was canceled and that I would receive a refund on my $62 order, so naturally I was irritated because I was trying to feed my family, so I drove up to Popeyes, after several calls to the store with no answer, to find out what happened to my order and I explained it to the cashier in the drive thru and she had the kitchen making my food, then the "GM" came to the window and asked what happened, so I again explained what happened, well this horrible uneducated woman proceeded to tell me that she didn't send an email, that DOORDASH MUST HAVE COME TO THE RESTAURANT AND SENT THAT EMAIL, and told me that doordash picked my order up already and she gave it to them, which obviously was a lie, so I told her once again that I received an email from POPEYES not from the delivery service, and she continues telling me that she didn't cancel the order and that there is nothing she can do about it (I have a Popeyes account so I can see that the order has been canceled and know she is lying), this woman continued to blame the delivery service for 15 minutes, (trying to convince herself of this lie I'm assuming) so I finally was just done hearing the uneducated ignorance coming from this old you-know-what, she refused to make it right or tell me why my order was canceled so I left, and it is no surprise to me why this store has such a horrible rating, she was so rude, she talked to me in the most awful way and that is what kind of GM they hire at Popeyes. I am so disappointed. So I went to canes and spend my money there, where they are polite and respectful and treat their customers right. I will NEVER go to this location again, and I hope this review saves some people from being treated this poorly. Just take the further drive OR go to canes, the food and staff/management is better.

Wow, just baffled .. the drive thru staff apparently doesn’t understand English enough to be taking orders, I was there last night and asked for 2 spicy chicken sandwiches combos and a side of Mac and cheese. I get to the window and the lady was disgustingly rude I had the feeling she got my order wrong. Sure enough she gave me 2 drinks the sandwiches and no fries and 2 small orders of Mac and cheese, I asked for my fries and she said the combos don’t come with them. Funny because that’s what I always order . She gave me a small box with a few fries. I left it at that and drove off . But very dissatisfied with the staff.

Horrible experience. Macaroni was so watery it looked like soup and tasted very very old. Couldn't even eat 1 bite. Drive thru person said they only had about 4 drinks available so i decided to just get fruit punch which also tasted mostly like water!!! Ordered the nuggets and as soon as I'm about to pay they inform me there's none only tenders 🤦‍♀️. How do you not know what you're out of the menu is not that big!!!! Just threw everything in the trash after trying to eat it. Such a waste of my money. I have kids I don't want to be driving around to see who will get it right.

I wanted to let everyone know how rude and unprofessional this manager of Popeyes located at 2620 Old Denton Rd, Carrollton, TX 75006. Manager name Stephanie. Very rude, don’t even know how to speak with the customer. I went there today with my 2 kids to get Wings and tenders. At the window for some reason their credit card machine won’t process my Amex card, instead telling me nicely to pay using any other card Stephanie tells me that I need to transfer money into my card before coming to window. She doesn’t know how to speak to her customers. She even closed a window on me and refused to give me my order. Worst experience ever, because of the way we got treated I don’t think I will ever go back to this location.

I drove 15 minutes to this location because the one close to me only had spicy chicken. I get here at 9:50 with 10 minutes left before they’re supposed to be closed and the restaurant is completely black and everyone has clocked out and gone home for the day. I do realize people are ready to go home after a long day at work but what about the people that are hungry and expect for a restaurant to be open during the hours of operation that are listed.

I placed a pickup order from the popeyes app After arriving they asked me to cancel the order from the app as they did not had any chicken sandwiches. I should have been notified by the app so I wouldn’t have to drive down there. I went back to the drive thru line and just ordered a 4 piece signature chicken. I was waiting for like 15 minutes at the window for the food. Then the lady comes out gives me the food and says that they did not had any fries so she included extra 2 pcs of chicken. I was like ok but the thing I was mad at that they did not asked me first or told me at the speaker about it. You cannot do something without a customer’s consent and why are they even operating when they don’t have any sandwiches or fries. The lady was extremely unprofessional and I feel like the staff are not working as they should. When I got back home and opened the food, to my surprise the fries were there inside a box of nuggets and there were also extra 2 pcs of chicken. I mean I got free chicken but what in the world they are doing. The staff I think are high on work or something, they have no communication and are extremely unprofessional. Whoever is running this location has clearly no care for the brand.

These people can't get an order right if their life depended on it! They are 5 mins from us so it's are go to, but you HAVE to check order before you leave! They always short me something or get it totally wrong. Today I ordered their 6 piece special and only got 2 pieces and those were wings! The people are just plain rude. This store is the worst. Any time we order on doordash it’s always incorrect and takes over an hour, we end up with multiple dashers cancelling because it takes so long. Last night my husband was conveniently passing by and decided to just hit the drive through to avoid any kind of doordash delays, so I was excited. They still got the order wrong, a 3 piece tender meal turned in to like a 10 piece meal, yay leftovers I guessed, but I have been sick in and out of my bathroom for over 12 hours now. It’s always an issue with this store, if not wrong orders, or ridiculous delays, or “closing early”, its cold food, or bad food.

Last weekend I ordered a #1 & #3 in the drive thru. The kid working the drive thru read my order back as a chicken sandwich and a 2 piece. I told him no, I wanted a #1 & #3. He said, that's what I said. I told him I thought I heard him say a 2 piece. Guess what I had when I got home....a sandwich and a 2 piece. Popeyes, please let your drive thru employees take a picture of the menu to reference since they don't have it memorized.

The absolute worst location I've ever been to. I waited at the speaker for 10 minutes and finally had to say hello before someone took my order. She didn't listen to anything I said so I have to repeat the order. Went around to the window to pay and receive my food, and the manager was extremely aloof handed me my food but not my card, and was very dismissive; I could barely get his attention to get condiments. I believe there were only two people working so I get it, but they should hire more people to avoid this terrible customer service.

I don't usually agree with others, I try it for myself then judge. If you don't believe nothing else please believe that they are nasty. I did not have a bad experience here with customer service, but it was the unsanitary things that I saw to make me turn away. A gentleman, possibly a manager coughing in his bare hands and continued working. Then a another gentleman was standing in the window scratching and picking at his arm and continued working. Im not going to say it's disgusting but I will say that it's unsanitary and a training issue that needs to be handled quickly.

I have ordered takeaway food twice and the order is always wrong, parts of the combo are missing, the food is old and reheated, and if you complain to the guy who serves, he makes bad gestures and throws the food reluctantly, horrible all the service

Pt.1 I have gone to this popeyes location a few times, and I am honestly completely done with them. Every time I order something my order is wrong. My order was not repeated to me, let alone I was not given a receipt. I asked for my straw to be placed in my bag, I get home not only did I not have a straw, I ordered mashed potatoes as my side but was given red beans instead. I asked for Sweet Heat Sauce and was given a bunch of honey and ketchup instead. I refuse to go to this location, we as customers can ask for a manager and complain for so long, nothing gets solved. I am very dissatisfied. Pt.2: 9/28/21 8:38pm I have been calling nonstop since at least 6:30-7:00pm. Once again my order was incorrect and this time I have proof. They don’t answer the phone, for whatever I will NEVER understand why. I ordered a 3pc spicy dinner with a side of red beans & rice I was charged for what I asked for, but I was not given what I paid for and the receipt shows it. This is utterly ridiculous, Google won’t allow me to leave a separate review, so now I have had yet another untasteful experience. Popeyes either give me my money back or replace my order. Something has to give here.

Went through the drive thru during my lunch and placed a simple order of sandwich with a drink and sides. I was told to wait in the front, which I happily obliged. The order ended up taking so long, eating the entirety of my lunch. They did not apologize or show any civility when they finally did give me my meal. Just handed the bag over quietly. I didn't expect a refund or a dessert item or anything of value. I was hoping for, at the very least, an apology for the wait. Not even that. The service seemed distained and uninterested in consumer care. They did not smile or show any patience. I get its a fast food job, but part of the job is hospitality Food was fine.

Visited during the week around 11:30a, very impatient women taking orders. After a man came on as well to let me know they no longer have the blackened chicken sandwich she gave me my total after I ordered 2meals and I was don’t finished ordering. I waited, she came back on and I once again told her I wasn’t done ordering. Popeyes service has dropped tremendously. Every time I order a 2 piece mixed and ask for a breast and a thigh, I get a thigh and a leg. Yet I paid for a mixed meal. It’s always of course the younger generation, and they just have no respect, and a nasty attitude. I check my meal every time now and I always take it inside with receipts to correct it and show I paid for mixed and they are just nasty!!! Shame on Popeyes Corporate.

I went today 4/24 and got a 4 piece with fries and a drink. I got 2 breasts and 2 wings. About 30 minutes after i ate i started throwing up and got stomach pain and diarrhea. I will NEVER EVER eat another Popeyes again. They serve old chicken and hard biscuits. I could only eat one piece before getting violently ill. Please stay away

I went in the Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen store located at 2620 Old Denton Road, Carrollton, Texas 75007 to pickup an order and even though there were 3 or 4 people behind the line in orange shirts and a person in a buttoned up gray shirt in drive tru, they were too busy talking and eating to assist me with my order. Serval people looked up at me and went back to talking and eating. Then a woman came up and instead of apologizing, she said they were taking their break. I told her that they have ServSafe certifications on the wall. ServSafe teaches employees to leave the back of house and go to the dining room to eat food and not cross contaminate the area where food is prepped or cooked. The shift manager did nothing to address my concerns. He allowed an employee to address and try to argue with me. Then a customer tried explain that the employees were taking a break. I explained to the worker and the customer that it is unsafe to eat food in the production area of any establishment where food is cooked, prepared, or stored. The only place an employee should be taking a break to eat is in the dining area so that they don’t cross contaminate the surfaces in the back of house. The female employee got an attitude and the shift manager took zero action concerning the matter. I will be filing a complaint with the Health Department because this is one of the reasons so many people keep getting sick in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.

I went to this Popeyes and tried to get food. At the start of my order I was not greeted until 4 minutes after sitting at the box. I then tried to place my order and Patty had a communication barrier as she told me to come to the window to place my order which I got to the window and she did not understand what it was that I was needing. In the midst of that the app kept changing codes for my digital deals which made the experience that much worse. She made me pull up for 15 minutes which turned into 29 minutes and my order was not right. I went inside to tell her about it and she told me that it was not true. I then asked her to get me the right order at that point she asked me to pay an additional$4 for the order that was inaccurate and I had already been there 46 minutes in total time from she and I going back and forth on what I wanted to order. I called the number to speak with someone and it does not work, it goes to voicemail that is full. This is the amount of fries given in my order

This one happened last Friday.... ordered 12 count nugget.... I open the box to find a cut up SPICY tender... Nuggets don't even come spicy and the batter is different. These reviews are correct. I don't write reviews, but after you've been burned so many times, this one is worthy. I should have learned my lesson by now but keep thinking things will turn around. ALWAYS a wrong order, overcharge, and/or don't have any food to sell, close 2 hours early... etc etc.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, they need new management, new workers, new ownership or something. There's no reason there's a 20 minute wait for a simple 3 piece tender when there's no customers. And then, they just don't care. They move without any purpose, as if they don't care if you get your food or not. It's sickening that this is the worst fast food option surrounded by so many others, I'm done giving them my service and my money. Avoid them if you can!

Went to this location last night around 730 pm and ordered 6 pc wing combo + fries + sweet tea and strawberry creme cheese pie. When I arrived home, I noticed my chicken and fries were undercooked. The sweet tea and pie tasted old. I called the store 6 times no one answered. I work too hard for my money. I ended up driving back to the store with all of my food. I spoke to the manager Kevin, he was nice but he has no business being a manager. He has not received any proper training to handle a store. He gave me a refund in cash and no apology. I will never step foot in this place again. I will also be contacting corporate for serving undercooked food which can cause a serious food Bourne illness.

Placed two orders for my family. I was charged and received a message that my orders are being prepared. I drove 14 miles and spent 22 minutes time in addition to the gas I spent with my F150 truck. When I got there at 9:18pm, the store was closed and the Popeyes app still saying that the store is open and closes at 11:00pm. I used the Popeyes app and filled out two complaints. Few hours later, I got a message that one of the orders has been refunded. Two days later, I have never received any response about my second order. I had to go through my bank to dispute the charge. When I contacted the customer service, they said they can’t do anything about it. I am Very disappointed.

This 2620 old Denton rd location in Carrollton is HORRIBLE! I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve waited at the speaker in the drive-thru 5 plus minutes on multiple occasions to the point where I eventually just drove around to the main window to try to get their attention there. This most recent trip it happened again and when I drove around, the window was open and I could see two women inside who both had AirPods in their ears. I tried to get their attention for a while but neither of them could hear me because of their headphones and when I finally got one of their attention, the black girl came to the window and looked at me crazy and tried to argue with me saying that she could hear, despite me practically yelling into the window trying to get their attention as they were doing whatever besides helping customers. This is terrible service and now I know that this is a recurring event. If they don’t feel like ever helping customers, surely they don’t care about any health codes or anything else. I won’t be returning to this location and neither should others. It’s insane that the location is still in business.

I just went to have dinner with my family we got a #1,#2 and a #3 combo meals we were the only costumers. It took them 16 mins to bring us our food which that wasn't to upsetting the upsetting thing was that all the sandwiches were cold the chicken was barely warm the cheese wasn't even melted the bread was cold and on top of that all three meals were supposed to be spicy and there was no spice in any of the sandwiches. It was just a very horrible experience.

I made selections in the app for my chicken pieces. When I got there, they told me I have to take what they gave me because the app is not supposed to allow you to select white or dark meat. Which I know is wrong. I’ve been selecting which type of chicken I wanted from Popeyes for several years. This is not what I ordered or what I wanted. Please don’t eat at this Popeyes! Went in to order and had to tell the rude young guy working the counter that on one of my orders I wanted a thigh and a leg! He rang it up wrong and told me he would tell the people putting the order together. Then “HE” put the order together working. I told him again I want a best and a leg and then he proceeded to tell me that I told him I wanted I though and a leg! There was also a gentleman in there waiting for the whole time we were writing for a very large order that they couldn’t seem to get right!!!!

Man im usually a fan of popeyes but this one in particular is sad i asked for 6 bone in wings signature hot and got pretty much the complete opposite. 6 boneless wings with nothing on them tried to explain that its not what I ordered though the lady was really sweet I need her to speak enough English to understand. Not to mention i was told to wait 5 minutes twice for cold food ... on a separate issue this place is a mess sticky floors and mold on the soda machine and straw holder ....pick it up yall first and last time going here

0/10. First the drive through attendant could not tell me what diet drinks they even have (I am diabetic). They finally said they had diet lemonade, which when I got up to the window, I tried to confirm it was diet and they said they don't have diet lemonade. The drive through person got upset at this and having to switch the drink to something diet. On top of that, the food was all literally cold and the chicken was soggy. My fries were not even in a container, they were just thrown into the dirty bag.. Popeyes is usually good, but avoid this location at all costs. Just look at the other reviews. Edit: I tried to call their number for a refund because the food is so bad and their number isn't even in service.

We rarely eat Popeyes, but when we do it’s usually pretty good. We were visiting a relative and this was our first time stopping in at this location. We got a nugget and tender meal. The nuggets were fine, however the chicken tenders were raw. After taking them back, the employees were semi-apologetic about it and did give us a new box of fully cooked chicken tenders. However, this should not happen and we will not be returning to this location.
