They have the best pork sisig. I also love their pork barbecue and silver fish. Good Filipino food all around. The staff are fast and friendly. The only downside is their prices, it's a bit expensive for me.

Go to lunch spot for quick service. Fav filipino bbq skewers spot. Rotating menu but with the usual hits available.

Sisig and BBQ on a stick are fantastic. Going back and telling friends to go try the food. Recommend going there early. After 4 pm not a big selection to choose from.

Palabok has shrimp, pork, seafood balls, hard boiled egg. Not salty but tasty and yummy. Pork menudo was delicious too with big chunks of soft lean meat . Not sure whether they put liver on it but it passed my standards and my husband's as well, who by the way is very discriminating with taste. Both were not oily since there were not too much fat so we loved it. Turon was USD2.50 per piece which I thought was expensive considering it did not contain langka. Hopefully they start putting it.

Love this Filipino food place. The style of cooking is ilocano so the dinakdakan and the calding caldereta are very good. They only have calding caldereta on Fridays and Saturdays. They are closed on Sundays. If you want some good authentic Filipino food, the best place in the Carson area is Nita's for sure. If you are from San Diego , this type of cooking compares to Titas kitchenette in national City. Love that place too.

Slightly better than your average turo turo(Filipino cafeteria). They serve a lot of the traditional Filipino stews, soups and grilled items. One of my favorites is the dinakdaan it's a creamier your version of the more well known Filipino dish sisig. Save room for desserts because they do most of them really well here like the: Buko pandan.

Nita’s is probably my favorite spot for Filipino food in the South Bay. Lots of delicious dishes here - from their sweet ribs to the barbecues, but my favorites have to be the kare kare and daing na bangus paired with their homemade vinegar. Five stars on the food. As for customer service, however, like other reviews have mentioned, they fall short on that. All the times I’ve gone, the staff wasn’t friendly, medyo masungit, with some even looking annoyed. Oh well. Sounds like a “It’s not me, it’s you” problem lol. As long as it doesn’t affect their cooking, it won’t stop me from coming back for some tasty comfort food. Kain tayo!

Home cooking to go or eat in. Grab a tray, get in line and pick your dish. BBQ is great here and everything is fresh not sitting under the lights all day. Helps if you speak Tagalog but not necessary.

Best BBQ pork skewers!!!!! But they're pricey! But worth every taste! Popular Filipino food and their siningang soup is the best! I gave it a four stars because they only accept cash and the food are really expensive! U must try the bbq pork skewers and their pancit!!!! Ur welcome in advance ☺️

Really feels like you're stepping into a part of the Philippines. A lot of authentic dishes are served and there is quite the variety. I had the barbecue skewer, the chicken adobo, and a dish called tinola. All the dishes were quite tasty. It may not seem like a big deal, but they have a specific kind of vinegar that I'm sure they mix themselves, but it's so good! Enough spice and saltiness to compliment the dishes. I really liked it on the barbecue skewer. They also have a small selection of desserts, didn't get to try them, but at least you know you have the option.

They never have pinakbet ready until closer to noon, earlier if you're lucky.. I like my Filipino vegetables, especially to neutralize the other food high in cholesterol, etc . but that's Filipino food in general. Like most customers, I ordered the combos and due to the lack of prepared dishes ready to purchase and select from, I made the mistake of ordering kare kare. I explicitly told the young man I only wanted the vegetables from the chafing tray and either he was hard of hearing or indifferent and scooped out the disgusting tripe and God awful rubbery fatty "meat" which they apparently charge a hefty premium of $1!!. C'mon OWNER (s).....it's an entree so why charge extra for beef which certainly was not what was on my plate. My mother would cook oxtail which does constitute beef aka meat (that's not what was served in the foam container). God bless her soul..she'd be angry at me buying this horrible rendition prepared..However, the vegetables were sufficiently tasty in the kare kare ( although I had to improvise and bought bok choy at Seafood City and mixed it in when I arrived home) since there was no pinakbet to be found, despite the approaching lunch hour. Whatever.... I will commend the cook/chef for the fresh fried daing bangus..always consistent. I'll stay away from the peanut butter dish! I don't mind paying $1 extra on seafood since it seems other Filipino establishments in Carson do charge it BUT not for a beef entree or a quasi beef/ intestinal animal part. Nita's needs to step it up with their ludicrous pricing and please post prices..not one sign anywhere to be found! I frequent Historic Filipino Town in L.A. since I travel to downtown and the Valley but live in the Southbay..just a headsup..they don't price gouge. Please be consistent and be fair on your pricing and don't fluctuate like the stock market..just price it in. I hope Tita Celia's will open soon from the terrible fire.

This place is great if you like pork. I'm not much of a pork eater. I came to try the goat and it's only made Fri and Sat. The food is fresh and tasty but just wish they had more variety besides pork.

Extremely Rude Staff & Poor Hygiene Practices I had a terrible experience at Nita’s Restaurant. The staff were not only rude but also visibly frustrated with me for no reason. Their attitude made the entire visit uncomfortable, as if I was inconveniencing them just by being there. Instead of providing basic customer service, they acted annoyed and dismissive, which was completely unprofessional. To make things worse, their hygiene practices were concerning. I saw a leafy vegetable stuck to the outside of a soup container, and instead of using tongs or gloves, the staff member touched it with her bare hand and put it back. That’s completely unsanitary and unacceptable in any food establishment. Between the terrible customer service and the lack of proper food handling, I don’t think I’ll be returning. I strongly don’t recommend this restaurant. I hope management takes these issues seriously because this kind of experience is unacceptable.

Very rude staff, horrible customer service! Filipinos are known for their hospitality but not this business. They’re not even busy when we walked in so what’s the rudeness about? Will never recommend 👎🏼👎🏼

First time I came here thinking the sisig dish would taste the same as when you order it in trays, but it was VERY salty, the Adobe dish had more onions than meat, and their combo only comes with 3 little scoops of rice. I was very disappointed. I DO NOT recommend it. $8.21 combo was not worth it. Sadly

Trying to be polite while placing an order from this place when calling 2 times and yet they were rude for hanging up. I rarely don't give out 1 star reviews, but for now there is a reason.

Thier Fried shrimp with egg or tiny fish is hard to bite. And the old lady the one who place food on the order lessen the meat so watch her flick your ulam back to Thier trays. Keep a close eyes on her. Rice is not warm. The rest is ok.

To the older Filipina woman working the cashier, you have no etiquette or class running a business. I did not get a "Hello, how are you?" or even "Your total is..." No eye contact and felt hostile. Just snatched my cash when I paid. I was very polite so I don't understand this attitude behavior. The food is medicore, nothing special at all. I will never set foot in a food establishment that doesn't respect their customers. I hope you lose customers and close down.
