It was the convenient location (154 West Carson Street) in the city of Carson, and I really liked that place, thank you.
The food was good and the service there were all nice I love this place🤩
I always wanted to try this place. I am not a fry chicken lover due to the high calories content. I usually take out the front crispy part and then eat inside of chicken only. This is located next to CVS pharmacy & they have a big parking lot. Usually, there is no problem finding the parking space. The in side of the restaurant was very clean and organized. All the employees were friendly & kind. One young man helped me help me to select the menu. He was attentive & very helpful. They had various selects of the menu. You can make your own meal by your choices. how many pieces of chicken. what part of chicken (chicken, breast, leg, or thigh) Also, choose the sizes of the drink, choose 2 sides, which I ordered the coleslaw & bean & rice. My order was ready in 15 minutes. When I came home, I tried their famous "Louisiana style fried chicken. I took out the top part of crispy fried chicken, and I only ate the inside of chicken breasts. The chicken breast was juicy, tender & little spicy ,but delicious! I love it! Fried Chicken was not salty. It came with the sauce, but it was tasty without their sauce. Also, Cole slaw was amazing! I love it! And beans & rice were delicious. The price was not expensive. It was a reasonable price. I would like to recommend everyone to try the famous "Louisiana" style of Popeyes fried chickn.
Why? Why did I enjoy Popeyes? Great fast-food and friendly service fast! I ordered three chicken platters to go at $10 each! 18 chicken strips boneless with biscuits and 6 sides all for $30 plus tax. Popeyes fed 7 hungry people! Yes, I definitely enjoyed eating meal! Ever-Virgin-Most-Powerful, triumph and reign! Happy Birthday, Lola Ester! 86 years old! RIP! Photo is not Popeyes and I wanted to honor mi Madre hoy! Photo is taken today January 8, 2020 not at restaurant. Seasoned fried chicken different varieties of chicken and sides
This location was nice and this staff had great customer service. I was upset to have to pay sixty- nine dollars for the cajun turkey in Carson, when they are fifty five dollars on the other side of town. I didn't make a fuss about it in the store, however, I think that is ridiculous. I did go ahead and pay for it because I need the turkey for Thanksgiving, but why is it fourteen more dollars?because it's at a Carson location?
Customer service was fast and friendly. The food was hot and tasty. Unfortunately, the building looks as if it was in need of a little TLC. although I would still eat here again.
Six piece wings for 6.99. I purchased the ghost wings and the lemon pepper ones. Ghost wasn’t really that spicy didn’t have a kick, No taste just normal chicken to me. Lemon pepper was bland. I didn’t taste lemon pepper. It was kind of basic and taste like more regular fried chicken Popeyes make. Service is great. Staff was very welcoming and nice would come again for the service. inside was very clean and new.
Much improved service but the food has gone down......dry, stale chicken. They never had decent sides except when they served green beans.
Food was ok. But a bit slow.
This particular Popeyes feel short of their usual great food. Chicken was oily, beans and rice was soupy. They have no restroom.
I gotta split the difference here at 3 stars. Because SOME of the food was passable. Idk if this was just a bad location or if Popeyes has truly declined that much. I got a 4pc leg and thigh - it tasted like chili powder and grease. No other flavors were present. Waste of money, after 2nd drumstick I gave up and threw away the thighs. The beans and rice were ok, it’s mostly beans and very little rice. Mac and cheese was just fine. I don’t really know what else to say about that. I think this may be the meal that puts me off Popeyes for good because in this economy I can’t be wasting money on food that’s supposed to be a cheat meal that is mostly bland.
Ordered family meal with regular and spicy chicken and mashed potatoes and Cajun fries. The chicken were a bit on the dry side and the spicy chicken was lacking the kick to it. The Cajun fries were good and mashed potatoes had a good southern flavor to it. I thought it was just me but other people were also having a hard time understanding the accent of the guy at the counter. Also the owner (or so I think) was just hanging out in one of the tables and gives an awkward vibe.
On Sunday 11-23-25, I went to Popeyes on Main and Carson (154 W Carson Street, Carson, Ca 90745) and bought 12 piece meal, which cost almost $50. When I arrived to my location to distribute the chicken, theh chicken looked old, recooked, hard and was not fresh. On Monday 11-24-25, I called the location and spoke to a man who identified himself as the manager and said his name was Jaime. I informed him that I am a frequent customer and for the most part have been satisfied with the quality of food I have received in the past; however, this time for what I paid, I received garabe. I told me he served over 500 customer and was busy. I am not sure what that had to do with what I received. All he kept tellilng me was I should have brought it back. I informed him that I was 30 miles away and it would not have been worth my time to make that drive. Instead of offering an acceptable remedy, he became defensive and argued with me an then said thank you and hung up the phone on me. I called back and asked him why he hung up the phone. He said he was too busy. TOO busy to address a customers concern? I asked him for headquarters phone number, he told me to look it up myself and hung up the phone after I said I would be reporting this to the health department. I could not believe how I was treated. In addition he could barely communicate with me due to language barrier. Why is this individual with poor customer service and etiquette working there much less being a manager. I will never go back to this establishment again.
After buying food, asked for a water cup as I drink water and was told I have to buy a cup. Yea, that's sad. Food was ok. The spicy sandwiches are small now.
Tables, floors were all dirty. Staff didn't want to work or service us. They ran out of chicken batter, so some of us went to taco bell
Paid for a 2 PC Combo(Spicy Leg and Thigh) W/ Cajun Fries as my side. The meal I received had two of the smallest(Old/Dry) pieces of chicken, the leg was spicy and the thigh mild! The Cajun fries were halfway full, and stale. I don't recommend spending your money here!
