The menu is complete. Pizza, hamburgers , sandwiches, tacos, fish and chips and more great choices. I chose the steak tacos and my wife chose the fish and chips. We were both pleased. The beer choices were well balanced too so there is something for everyone. I’ll be back.

This is a great place to eat. We love sitting outside…weather permitting of course! The staff are always very friendly and very good at what they do. Really enjoy the ‘hostess’ who has a great personality! I’ve tried several dishes there: brisket with mashed and an amazing gravy made with beer, tried a few different pizzas, and of course, the Irish nachos are fantastic. Great atmosphere, especially in the warmer months when the fountains are making a lovely background sound.

Our group of 6 came in to pig out and watch football, and The Fox did NOT disappoint!! All of their beers are cold and flavorful, and the food was amazing. The wings are delicious, and we got to choose from a wide variety of homemade sauces. The pizza dough, sauce, and toppings were all fresh, and our fried pickles appetizer was perfect! We had to take home the chicken Alfredo pasta for dinner (the BEST chicken Alfredo pasta I’ve ever had). Our server Brie was fantastic, as always. She’s nice, attentive, and can take care of an entire dining room alone without ever missing a beat. All of the support staff were super friendly and helpful. Kids eat free on Sundays, and my son loved his kids pizza, and his friend loved her chicken tenders. We had a blast watching football and eating wonderful food. The Fox is definitely the place to go!! 🦊🍺

When on my way back from Tahoe I was looking for a pet friendly restaurant did a random google search found the fox reviews were decent decided to try it. Our server Lindsey was exceptional very attentive we got sat without problem while we had our pitbull. The manager Melanie was the one who served us our plates love seeing a manager who helps the team out instead barking orders. You guys absolutely rock thank you so much for the delicious food and terrific experience. Will definitely be back!

4.3 is a joke...easy 5! Alex seated us and gave us some beer highlights as well as brought them to us. The recommendations were spot on! I had the Kings Fall Pilsner and my brother had the Hop Tahoe IPA. Jocelyn was our server and she had some highlights of her own. Not to mention the great smile. I got the chicken pot pie and it is ridiculous. Piping hot and full of flavor...not to mention the flaky crust was perfect. I had to slow down just to write the review. Then the spicy hot wings with Josefina's special spices...that's going to hurt tomorrow! Enjoy the beer AND food! I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks ladies!

If you find yourself in downtown Carson City, this spot is an absolute must-visit. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful historic building, and the interior boasts a wonderful, cozy old-school pub vibe. We stopped by for dinner, and the service was top-notch the staff was incredibly friendly and really knew their way around the menu. Their house-brewed beer is outstanding, and the burgers are to die for. Its prime location right on the main street makes it a perfect place to unwind after exploring the city. This place is a hidden gem for anyone looking for great food and quality craft brews. Truly a bang for your buck!

I love this place! The menu has great selections, and I love when they offer cottage pie! I was excited to go in for their Oktoberfest menu, but it was just ok. But everything else they offer is wonderful. Probably one of the best French dips in town. The service is always friendly and attentive. Noisy and lively and my favorite kind of food.

I absolutely loved everything during my visit except for one thing. The people were good, the chicken tenders were the best that I've ever had, the TV's had a good variety including golf, the music was great, and the beer excellent. Why did the large poodle be allowed to stroll in and stay for several minutes?

Great location across from the Capitol building. Excellent microbrew selections and delightful food. Fish & Chips, Pastrami sandwiches and steak salads are a few of the delights. Our service has always been friendly and timely.

I ordered fish and chips from here. I'm English and I was missing food from home. It was lovely! I enjoyed the garlic chips and the fish was tasty! The only down side was the inside of the batter. The outside was lovely and crispy and what I would get from a good English Chippy. But on the inside the batter was soggy and have a weird taste to it. I can't put my finger on it. Otherwise it was a meal I did enjoy.

Stopped here for dinner last night with my family. Despite being busy, they found us a table and kept us updated and taken care of throughout our meal. Service was great. My husband and father-in-law really enjoyed the house beers. Food is good and includes classic bar food as well as some English dishes. We recently traveled to the UK and I would say the steak and mushroom pie (Monday night special) was on par with ones I had over there. Loved that the "veggie of the day" was fresh veggies that were perfectly cooked and still a little crunchy. The bread pudding is also very good, my daughter really enjoyed it!

The food was really good. I ordered spicy fried chicken and it came with veggies, mashed potatoes and of course Fried chicken. The portion was good sized. The chicken was juicy, crispy and mildly spicy. The veggies were crunchy and infused with garlic and buttery flavor. This is a 150+ year old restaurant & hotel and you see it in the stained glasses, doors and interior wood work. It fuses modern light with old western design. It’s a great experience to dine here and I highly recommend it. Update: I tried their brisket and it was not that great. The service is great though.

The food was okay, burgers were over cooked and the fried food was cooked in old oil? I've had better service too. The outdoor patio was nice but not enough to bring me back.

We drove for 40 minutes from Incline Village to eat here based on the good reviews. What a HUGE mistake. We ordered food and half an hour later someone stopped by our table to say kitchen is backed up and it will take a while to get our food! And there were only 10~15 customers inside max!! We got the spinach and artichoke dip and it was just SALT. I think they had emptied a whole package of salt into that dip. I drank all the water on the table and was still thirsty after eating it. And of course, server was nowhere to be found to ask for more water becaude their service also is as terrible as their food. I also got their "special" fajita which was seasoned with pure salt. No other spice, just salt and more salt. And on top of their terrible service, they messed up our food too. But again, server was nowhere to be found to ask to correct the wrong things they had brought! We just ate a bit, paid, and left! But what a huge disappointment. I really don't understand what was other people's experiences and what they ate or how long ago they have eaten here! I'm going to stay away from here as much as possible next time I visit lake Tahoe area.
