This is a fun spot with a great atmosphere. I loved the huge screen, it really elevates the experience, especially for watching games. The food was okay, nothing standout but decent. A highlight of the visit was the bartender, who was great and even made a custom drink we came up with, which added a personal touch to the experience. Overall, a solid place to hang out and enjoy the energy.
We had a party of 6 there to watch the Bills/Steelers game yesterday. Leona and Andrew were awesome host who assisted us during our time there. We ended up moving our party after the 1st game to get better seating for the Bills/ Steelers game. They were extremely accommodating in assisting our party. We had a great experience and the vibe between the game was lively with DJ Dutch on the 1’s and 2’s. He kept the place bumping with great tunes all afternoon. You’ve gotta check him out if you get a chance. Great time had by all ..!
My food was hot, fresh and delicious. We ordered appetizers for the table (the bay fries, chicken nachos, sweet bbq chili wings, and a chicken SW salad). The wings were AMAZING, and the ranch was as well. I ordered two drinks which were on point. I finished my first one within 5 minutes, and ordered another one. They were delicious! DJ Dutch was playing great music! Good vibes all night.
Great restaurant to go and hang out with friends especially if you enjoy sports. The food is good and the service was exceptional (Thank You Alec)! The location is smaller than some other locations but still very nice. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Cary.
This place is a real vibe. Customer service was on point, the food and drinks were very tasty. We came to watch the ALL STAR game and DJ Dutch had us grooving to the music the whole time. My boyfriend and I will put this place on the top of our list for experiences at a sports bar.
Had a great time watching the baseball game. It’s great to be able to watch multiple sports while drinking a nice cold pint. Thanks to Reagan and Jacob my partner and I received great service. The food was presented very well and served hot and fresh!
Great bar restaurant with huge TV layout. Service was friendly. Small # of bar games for $. Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were pretty tasty & shrimp tacos were good but really should come with a side. Would go back!
We made reservations blindly while here for a baseball tournament and man what an AWESOME place!! DJ Dutch was in the house and gave our baseball team a huge shout out. Not to mention the awesome music in between commercials. Sure wish we had a place like this at home :)
Mel and Lexi are the best bartenders ever! They’re super chill always on point with the drinks and make the whole vibe feel fun and welcoming. Even when it’s packed they remember what you like and take care of you quick. If you’re hitting the bar, you better hope they’re working… always a good time with them behind the bar!
The place is awesome! Located in Fenton, it’s a two-story sports and social bar with an entire wall of projection TVs—perfect for watching the games and totally viewable from both floors. Service was excellent. Everyone I interacted with was super friendly and very knowledgeable about everything they offer. My server, Jacob, was incredibly patient with me since I was on a work call when I arrived, and he took the time to walk me through both the food options and beer selections. I also met the GM, Tim, who was just as pleasant. They have a rooftop bar (closed for the season now) that I can’t wait to enjoy in the spring. Plus, they offer private rooms with fully stocked bars—including one with a mechanical bull—for events and socials. 10/10 experience. I’ll definitely be back soon!
Holy movie theater screen at a sport bar. Had to pick my mouth off the floor when I walked in and saw the hurricanes players where basically life sized. Nema our waitress was a absolutely wonderful. Super attentive and very cherry. Great waitress! Food was great. Love the massive pretzel to go with the massive screen. Arancini was good. Lots of fun games to play here and very large bar. Outdoor area was beautiful just too chilly today.
Had a great time with Kila Kyle and Nasty V Vanessa as they killed it with Service. They were the most attentive and fun bartenders I have had the pleasure of playing with. Find your stool, pull up and ask for them! They also provide great relocation and relationship advice! It was a great atmosphere. Let’s hope they don’t move to FL anytime soon.
The food was great, the atmosphere was relaxed, and our server Connor was phenomenal. He was attentive, friendly, and on point from start to finish. Highly recommend Sports & Social Cary!
We really enjoyed the vibe at Sports & Social in Cary at Fenton. We stopped in to catch the Hurricanes Game and have some dinner On Halloween Night. Jacob M. Took great care of us and made suggestions for our meal and drinks. They did not disappoint!! He mentioned a country bar upstairs w a mechanical bull and a Rooftop Mediterranean Bar as well. Easy to watch whatever sport you want on the big screen. Give it a try!!
Today I got off work early so I can catch a couple of the ACC Tournament games.. a very nice gentleman named John was my server he was very professional very nice he answered any questions I had about the menu he was very knowledgeable he checked on me frequently. I hope each time I come in there I hope to get him. John did a fantastic job...
I recently visited Sport & Social Cary, a massive sports bar located in a new shopping mall, and had an amazing experience. Despite the usual long lines, we managed to visit during non-busy hours and were seated promptly. The atmosphere was electric, with giant monitors showcasing sports and an array of games to keep everyone entertained. To start our meal, we ordered a variety of appetizers including the Crispy Kataifi Shrimp, Quesabirria Egg Rolls, Traditional Wings, and Signature Sweet Bay Fries. Each dish was not only delicious but also intriguing in its own way. The flavors were on point, leaving us wanting more. Being a fan of spicy food, I couldn't resist trying their Nashville Hot Chicken Burger. It lived up to its name, delivering a fiery kick while maintaining an exceptional taste. If you have an affinity for Nashville hot flavors, this burger is a must-try. Overall, our experience at Sport & Social Cary was delightful. The attentive service, delectable food, and vibrant ambiance made for a memorable time. I highly recommend this sports bar to anyone seeking a fantastic place to enjoy a meal and catch up on their favorite sports.
Tonight we had the please of dining at sports and social for the first time our server Alec was very helpful telling us what’s good food options and was she not wrong! She suggested the crush drinks which were delicious and we will definitely be back! Atmosphere was such a fun time to watch the game with friends!
We had a unique experience. I am from out of town and met up with some friends for an NFL game. Our first waitress was super inattentive. Ally stepped in at our request and was absolutely amazing!! Without her, we would have left and gone somewhere else. Not saying anything bad about this restaurant, it was super busy with the soccer and football games. Ally just stepped up even with all of the chaos and delivered an exceptional experience!
Had an awesome time at Sports & Social Cary thanks to our server Decie! 🙌 She was super friendly, quick with the drinks, and gave great menu tips. Seriously made the whole experience 10x better. Decie is my favorite! If you go, ask for Decie—you won’t regret it! 🍹🔥 #SportsAndSocial #CaryNC #GreatService.
really fun place to watch sports and hang out with friends. the vibe is energetic but chill, with tons of big screens so you never miss a play. food was way better than expected — wings, burgers, and apps were all great. drinks were strong and reasonably priced, and the bartenders were super friendly and fast even when it got crowded. overall just a great spot for game days, weekends, or anytime you want a good time with good people.
Alec was our server and from the moment she sat us I loved her vibe. We told her that at some point my husband would leave for about 15 min. to go pick our daughter up from the Aquatic Center and she was completely fine with that. She took our drink order and then we placed an order for boneless wings with buffalo sauce and her recommendation of spicy tuna bites. Everything was absolutely delicious!! Then my husband stepped out to get our daughter and as soon as they were back Alec appeared at the table ready to get her drink order and another round of drinks for my husband & I. I was very impressed that we did not have to hunt her down. She suggested the salmon bowl for our daughter (which she devoured) and my husband got a grilled chicken sandwich while I chose the pepperoni flatbread with hot honey. Everything was perfect! We don't live in Cary but if we did we'd request Alec as our server every single time.
We had a great experience at sports and social! We were so comfortable in the leather chairs and booths; victor was amazing and so attentive. Andrew was awesome and changed the TV’s for us so we could watch our games. Food was also really great- we got the platter and it was enough to feed a lot of people! Great experience
I had an amazing experience at Sports & Social Cary! From the moment you walk in, the energy is high, the space is clean and modern, and the atmosphere is perfect whether you’re there for a game, brunch, or a night out with friends. The massive screens make it one of the best places in the area to watch sports—there truly isn’t a bad seat in the house. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well worth the hype, with great portion sizes and a menu that offers something for everyone. The drinks were on point too, with creative cocktails and solid options all around. What really stood out was the service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure our group felt welcomed the entire time. It’s the kind of place that works for game days, celebrations, casual meetups, or just a fun night out. If you’re in the Cary area and looking for a lively spot with great food, drinks, and vibes, Sports & Social is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!
We hosted a dinner for our sales team at the PBR Bar on the 3rd floor, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Jennifer, the Director of Sales, was an absolute pleasure to work with — patient, creative, fun, and truly invested in making the evening special for our team. The staff were on top of everything all night long; we never had to ask for a thing. And I can’t say enough about the line dancing instructor and the bull riding instructor — they completely elevated the experience and made the night unforgettable. PBR is a 10/10. Highly recommend for team events or group dinners!
Came in last night with my friends during the Broncos vs Bulls game. Our bartender Ariana was outstanding. She was working nonstop, but still managed to keep up with everyone. Drinks were perfect, she was super friendly, and I honestly don’t know how she kept the bar clean while making drinks for the servers too. You could tell she was hustling the entire night. definitely appreciate service like that and will be back 😊
You came in with family from out of town to watch basketball have drinks and food and Victor was the most top-notch so attentive to our needs! Andrew was great with the TV changes and the DJ’ing! He was an awesome addition to sports and social :)
This was my second time at Sports and Social. It's the perfect place for college football with all the screens they have. They do a great job with the game audio as well. Lexi and Lizzy were great bartenders and made sure I was well taken care of. I never went without a drink or food when I needed and the TV's were set up perfect. Additionally I received great service from Dannasia during my first visit as well. Cheat code go to the upstairs bar and the have non-alcoholic drinks as well.
This was our first visit and we were greeted by Riana who was our server. Riana answered all of our questions about this special spot with a giant tv for games and explained the different floors and what is on them. Riana set us up with happy hour specials and we had a great time. Super well taken care of here and a great atmosphere for game days. We'll be back - thanks Riana for everything!
Came here for wildcard weekend. The service was great from Lynn and Vic. They kept the food and drinks coming through both of the games. DJ Dutch maintained the vibes during the commercial breaks and made sure we were feeling the music choices (we did!). Would definitely come back to this location in the future.
Took the boys to Sport & Social in Cary during my best friend’s bachelor party, it was the first time any of us have been there and it was a blast! The atmosphere was fun and super engaging. The layout and energy reminded me of Ballpark Village in St. Louis right before a cardinals game. It's open, lively, and perfect for a group night out. outdoor patio area and fire pit is an awesome spot as well. The place was immaculate, very clean, and the staff were all so upbeat and charismatic They ran trivia on the big screen during halftime of the game. It kept some of us engaged and made it easy for all of us to know when the game restarted. I wasn't interested in the trivia but remember thinking did they really stop showing the primetime college game off to play their weekly trivia? No, they get it and get their customer base and learned a better way to keep people engaged and active during halftime. Honestly, having halftime shows playing on every screen at a bar usually means people stop paying attention and just hope they remember to look back up when the second half starts or it's when they get their tab and leave. This was a novel way of combatting this lull period and you can tell it was an idea focused on perfecting the customers experience. Also when i had to call them later to address an issue of my own doing not the restaurant, they want above and beyond to help me. Even though they absolutely had no obligation to do so. I learned the person who helped me, had many people under him that he could've pushed me on but instead he went above and beyond and left a lasting impression, just like every other aspect of his business did. Nice to see people leading a restaurant with such strong values & enthusiasm, it's infectious. Every time I travel to Cary for business or pleasure, this place will get my business.
Our server was Anna, and she was amazing!! She made it possible to celebrate my dad’s birthday in an amazing way. I thank her so much!
DJ Dutch had this place lit! It was really a great vibe. Great music, great energy and everyone was super happy. Highly recommend for a top tier sports bar experience.
They went above and beyond to make our reunion happen in July. We had to pull out of our deposit and they were so easy to work with and understanding. Food was great and atmosphere great. So thankful.
Sport and Social is a fantastic spot! The food was delicious. The atmosphere is perfect—great vibes that make it ideal for a night out. The service was top-notch; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The rooftop is definitely a highlight, offering stunning views and a great place to relax and enjoy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and an good overall experience! I just wish they have more food and drink options. Will definitely come again here with my friends.
Great sports bar and hang out spot. The food is definitely your typical bar food. The drinks were decent. The pretzel had potential, but the cheese sauce was cold. The shrimp appetizer was ok. The chicken tenders were a little on the dry side. The appetizers and the meals both took some time to come out and the place was pretty empty. It was 9pm on a Monday night. The atmosphere is great though! Just make sure you eat before you go.
Neat spot with tons to do and plenty of space Service at the bar was not great during our event, but food was tasty for sure.
Went to Sports & Social for a group dinner. The food was very good. I had a Southwest bowl and would order it again. We also had the large appetizer tower. Zero complaints!! Great for a large group. Like the name says, it's a sports bar. If you prefer a more quiet time, this is not for you. Sports & Social looks very nice, it's clean, and feels open due to the high ceilings. They also have outdoor seating, which was not available due to the weather conditions. Service was a bit slow, and I had the feeling the server was slightly overwhelmed at times. For example, one of us ordered the appetizers, but the order for our main food wasn't taken until much later. We already had the appetizer at that point. Plus, dinner orders were taken only for part of the group, not all. When the food came, the appetizer plates were still on the table and made setting the food down difficult. We were seated at multiple tables, and people kept moving around at some point, which made this a bit more difficult. However, I used to work as a waitress, and I know this can be done. Would I go again? Yes, absolutely.
Food is good, service is pretty fast but I was not notified that you all do not carry coins for change until after I paid🙄 my change is not your tip! When I asked for my change the bartender said “I thought u would tip” which I did after the fact but my change isn’t the tip 🙄Ppl who are paying with cash should be notified to have the option to use their card instead of paying with cash and notified after 🙄 so to future patrons bring exact change or your card because they do not carry coins. Also, if you do not like very loud settings, do not go on game days, I went on both non and on game day and the non game day was quiet for me. Philly cheesesteak was great along with the fries 😊 but I wouldn’t recommend the pork belly bao buns, there’s more bao bun than pork belly and for $16 I would expect the bun to be packed with enough pork belly🤦🏽♀️. I also recommend the spicy tuna bites, if you like sushi then this is as close as you would get at this sports bar 😇
Sport and Social in Cary is a huge restaurant/bar and is great for accommodating big groups or parties. The place is nice and clean and has a wide open layout with huge TV screens and a bar section. I feel it almost has a little bit of Vegas in it. Top rating for open layout and cleanliness. The food however was just OK. We ordered the burgers and they came out after another order was placed. We were thinking they probably forgot to submit the first orders of burgers. The service was really slow and while they checked on us a few times in the beginning, we had to flag them down a couple of times at the end. Overall, this place is great for hosting parties, being entertained, watching the games or playing trivia. For food you’re probably better off going somewhere else. The customer service could be improved.
Atmosphere is great. The place is clean and it’s definitely entertaining place. Service in general is pretty good. The Food and drinks are very disappointing for the price. I ordered a burger. The buns were squashed, lettuce and onions were barely existing. It felt I was eating a Big Mac for double the price. We also ordered their alcoholic bowls. For a $30+ drink, it was rip off. They sprinkled the liquor. It was all juice and ice. Do not order it unless you want to waste your money.
Atmosphere was great as to be expected, everything else was average. I would go back to have a drink only. Made reservations to sit near the big screen a week in advance. We showed up and they didn’t reserve the spot. Ended up having to wait for a table seated near the very back. While I understand it was a busy night, our waitress came to us once in a hour. The food was mediocre at best. The boneless wings came out lukewarm.
We reserved a table for the 1pm NFL playoff slot. I was told when I arrived that my reservation was only good for 2 hours (which is not enough time to watch an entire NFL game?). Unfortunately the massive TV stopped working at halftime and was not fixed by the time we left. I was excited to try this place but had a pretty rough first experience
Slow service, mediocre food, extremely loud music. I had to yell across the table for the majority of our time here. The egg rolls within the photo were $12, kind of embarrassing considering I could have bought frozen Pagoda ones from Walmart at higher quality. The wings I got were ok, but could’ve been better. Overall, underwhelming.
We had a party of four and were surprised there was a line to be seated on a Tuesday. My friend and I arrived first; the server seemed unenthusiastic. My friend ordered a burger before the rest of our party arrived, and I ordered the large nachos. When the other two joined, they ordered food and drinks. The drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time, my nachos arrived very quickly, and the rest of the food followed shortly after. Despite ordering first, the burger never came. He had to ask about it three separate times, and it took over 30 minutes to arrive, even though everyone else had already been served. At some point, our server left without telling us. There was a stretch where we wanted more drinks, but we couldn't find anyone. A new server eventually came over, introduced herself, and said she assumed we knew the previous server had left. We did not. Given how mediocre the food and service were, it is surprising that this place remains so busy, even on a Tuesday. The only real draw seems to be the large TVs for watching sports.
We went to the Tinsel Tavern event, and the entire staff seemed woefully unprepared and fairly annoyed about the event. The decorations were cute, but the food was not great, fairly greasy, and cold. They also added a fee of $5 per person that was not disclosed when making reservation, nor was it mentioned when we sat down or on the menu. Overall, expensive and terrible. Will not be back
Went to get a takeout order because you can’t do online ordering and when you try to call to place an order the phone goes to voicemail. So I had to order at the bar, the bartender was very rude and didn’t place my order right. My food didn’t look appealing at all. I have ate at this place many times and never had a problem with my food or staff. I don’t know if it’s a new cook or what but it’s not acceptable for the price. This is not a salad just lettuce then on top of that they fired paper to my wings. Not worth 25 dollars at all.
Went there for the Super Bowl tonight with family. We made the reservation a month ago. We were told on the reservation we made on OpenTable, that there was a $10 cover charge. When we got there they were charging $15 per person cover charge, even for people who made reservations. Then we sat down and started to order food. The waitress told us it was a $50 minimum but did not elaborate. There were 5 of us, we assumed it was $50 for the entire table so we were fine with it. Later on, when we went to pay our bill, she told us that it was actually $50 per person minimum. We argued this because it never stated this on our OpenTable reservation. We escalated it to the manager and eventually they had to take it off. 3 people left earlier than the rest of us and other people started sitting at our table (we were being courteous to those standing). The waitress comes over and scolds us for “inviting people to sit with us”. She told us we were costing her money because those seats needed to be paid for. Then some receipts had the included gratuity hidden as a “facility fee” so that we would double tip. The whole experience seemed like a money grab and to be honest greedy on their part. I know they’re a running business but this was taking advantage.
Absolutely one of the worst service experiences of my life. After we were seated we waited about 20 minutes, and no one ever came. We were forced to order drinks from the bar. Then when we decided to order food (when the waitress finally checked in with us again after another 20 mins), only of the dishes came (the cookie skillet was the only good thing of the night), and the fries never did. Had to order those from the bar too. She even came back twice to clear dishes and and cups and not once asked if we wanted anything else. It wasn’t even that busy. It was honestly embarrassing, to see her on her phone at the hostess stand while we tried to flag someone else to go get her. Worst service ever, will never go back. The only good thing about that place is the big screens to watch sporting events on.
Nachos were dry. Yes, dry. Asked for them to remake it without the thick yellow nacho cheese. Great, all was well until I ordered a drink... there was a gnat floating in my drink... I was instantly devastated! Management attempted to not charge for the drink. But I didn't trust anything from that kitchen. Where's there's 1 gnat... there's plenty more in that kitchen and the bar upstairs. My brother in law left early due to him not feeling well. The next day he went to the ER and was diagnosed with food poisoning. Avoid this place like a plague!
I have never written a bad review in my life but, unfortunately, this experience was so bad that I felt I must say something. Our waitress, who never once mentioned her name but had very bright short pink hair, was one of the worst servers I have ever encountered. As a server myself, I am very aware of the responsibilities and pressures associated with the job, especially during football season when business is at its busiest. As a result, I opted to give my waitress a TON of grace and excuse her immense lack of professionalism for the first hour of my time at Sports and Social this evening. However, after actively watching her converse with and check on her other tables while seemingly, purposely skipping ours (we were in the dead center of her section so we were impossible to accidentally miss), my patience wavered. The only times we were ever truly acknowledged was to get our initial drink orders and place our food requests at the very start. In fact, even after fully completing our meals and having nothing left to sip on but AIR, we still had not even so much as made direct eye contact with our server. It got so eggregiously bad that a friend of mine set up a timer on her phone to see how long it would take for the woman to direct any attention to us at all. The answer... over 37 MINUTES (this was well after the football games had ended and her section was almost completely gone). This same friend was forced to get up from our table, walk over to the completely full bar, and purchase her second beer directly from a bartender... all the while we had still not seen our designated waitress. Eventually, after sitting with empty dirty plates, some food that was begging to be boxed, and nearly no beverages for about 3 hours, we asked a passing barback to grab a manager for us to speak to. Tim arrived at our table with nothing helpful to say and a CLEAR, palpable lack of sympathy for our long-standing situation. His somewhat condescending wise words of wisdom: "You should've said something sooner," were all we had to tide our growing frustrations over. By the end of our unexpectedly long, 4 hour excursion at this establishment, we never recieved an apology from our server (even after we watched the same manager speak to her in the distance) NOR adequate compensation for our terrible service. Instead, our conselation prize was a free dessert we never mentioned and were not originally going to order. Furthermore, after paying our tab, we were not even given the correct slip to sign off on. Tim was forced to go print the customer copy to give us all a way to finally end this nightmare. Though there is much more I could say about this unfortunate experience, I will end by stating that I do normally enjoy the events and staff within this building. PBR has become like a second home to me over the past year and I truly love the environment that this establishment has created. I have never eaten at Sports and Social before and, after this evening, I don't plan on doing so again. I truly hope that this is not something that occurs often and will not be something they tolerate in the future.
