Such efficient and kind staff! I absolutely love this location, I go out of my way to go here every time. Workers are so kind and my pizza always comes out quickly and it is delicious EVERY single time.
The staff at this particular location is always friendly and greets people with warm smiles. When you come in this location,especially on the weekends , it is always extremely busy on Friday and Saturday and staff is always willing to help and always seems pleasant. I'm sure it has to do with the positive management staff. I've had the opportunity to talk with Maia on a regular basis and I'm sure her excitement and awesome customer service philosophy is shared between all of her team members. I would recommend to my friends to order their pizzas from this location. Thanks again Castro Valley Round Table. Happy New Year !
The pizza was excellent and most of ALL the CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT!!! THE YOUNG LADIES AND THE ONE OLDER LADY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND ATTENTIVE TO OUR NEEDS EVEN THOUGH WE DIDN'T HAVE A BIG PARTY THEY WERE SOOO AWESOME WITH THEIR SERVICE AND CARING FOR OUR EVERY NEED!!!
I have been really good about watching what I eat, but when ever I go to Castro Valley where I used to live, I still pick up Pizza at Round Table for my brother. I LOVE IT!!! They are always very friendly and the pizza ALWAYS comes out amazing. This is by far the best Round Table store, I don't even go to the one where I live that's 2 min away. Thanks CV Round Table...

I just want to say your employee by the name of Ruben totally rocks. Hes awesome. 💯👏👏 Very professional but polite at the same time. Ruben knew exactly what special I was referring to. Employees like that is what makes the experience special. Shout out to Ruben who prepared my order exactly to my liking !!! Well done❗ With that being said this place is also very clean and the food is💯 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

New ownership? Definitely a change in the culture since my last visit. I had issues with my order (made wrong size pizza and left one item out) but the crew made quick fixes and were very polite and apologetic. This is what good customer service is all about. We all make mistakes, own it and make up for it. Love RT pizza so I will definitely be back.
I've been a customer for a couple decades plus and always had a excellent experience, The staff was professional and the salad bar vegetables are fresh and crispy. My favorite XLR pizza King Arthur's combination was very great tasting and the balance of flavors was perfect in my opinion. It is expensive, But the eating experience is worth the price. And the ingredients they use is top of the line, You can taste the difference compared to other pizzerias.

We order a pizza from them about every two to three weeks. Never been disappointed. Online coupon doesn't work for us, but they honer it over the phone if mentioned. Have done both pickup and delivery. Never ate in, but it looks OK. Several TV's in the large eating area. There's a handy liquor store right next store for beer or whatever. For the price $28 for an extra larger King Arthur supreme, I'm happy.

Round Table Pizza in Castro Valley has been in the neighborhood for a long time. I rated it high because of its service and our experience recently. We planned a last minute birthday party for our daughter and I called to pre-order food for a party that will start after school. The lady I spoke with whom I think is a manager, was very pleasant and helpful. I pre-ordered a total of seven extra large pizzas and some chicken wings to be ready by 3:30pm and she told me that there will be no problem having a party of 14-18 people. We came at around 3:30 pm and we were assigned in their party area. They started bringing out hot pizza and newly cooked wings on time. Guests started to arrive and enjoyed the pizza. The staff and manager came regularly to check if we were okay and needed anything else. They were all great! The pizza - well, everyone should know what a Round Table pizza taste like. It is decent pizza, always good when you eat it at the restaurant than delivery. King Arthur Supreme and the Chicken Garlic are my go-to when we do eat a Round Table Pizza.
Its been awhile since I have eaten in a Round Table. This location seemed old and rundown. I was craving deep dish Pepperoni Pizza like back in the day, but its not the same at all. The crust was burned and dry. If I came again I would order thin crust, because my friend's BBQ chicken pizza on thin crust was delicious.

No matter when we come in, it always seems this Round Table is always understaffed. Due to this, orders can be slow, which is unfortunate. I now try to order in advance so that my wait is not too long. Food quality is good and consistent.
The pizza is good but the prices are too high. Staff is nice but doesn't listen too well. My wife called in our order and gave them our home phone number. Instead they put it under her cell phone number which caused some confusion when I came to pick up the order.
I come here from time to time; mostly Sundays when in the mood for pizza. Unfortunately the service is hit or miss here. Employees are friendly but seem indifferent when they get behind on orders. Today my order took nearly 50 minutes. It's nice that pizza is always consistent.
Round table is my go to chain pizza restaurant. The quality of the pizza is good especially when it's hot. The Castro Valley location, while convenient, is losing some of it's appeal. The quality of food seems the same, but the service is deteriorating. The last time I ordered it took over 40 minutes to make my pizza because there was only one person working when I arrived. She had to stop taking phone orders and checking people out to go make a pizza. This time the pizza was ready but all the young lady who was checking people out seemed flustered on what to do. It seems like this location maybe short staffed and really should invest in their people.

As a dine in restaurant it could definitely improve, however, as a takeout restaurant it is fantastic and the food is great. Please give them a try and maybe we can rejuvenate this place a bit

I love the pizza. I hate the service. I don't understand how I can order something online, get a price, then be told a different price when I go pick up the pizza. They routinely take 40 minutes to make a pizza they say will be done in 25 minutes. But, if I go in later,it seems they were on time and my pizza has been sitting.
Sorry for the 2 stars Round Table, but unfortunately it was so hard to eat this burnt pizza and the burnt garlic twists. Only this location though. I’ve had round table in Livermore and it’s the best.

I order here about every week or two, and my orders are always late by about 20 minutes. On top of that, most of the kids working here don't know the basics of customer service. I would really appreciate it if they let me know that my pizza won't be done for another few minutes at least.

I love Round Table pizza, but will never go to this place again. Completely ruined our night. Called in an order for pick up, got there a 1/2 later and they forgot to get it started. waited 20 more mins for them to get it wrong. I know places have bad days, but this place is totally mismanaged. They had children playing in the back room, apparently children of the workers, and no one in charge. when I asked to speak to the manager the smart ass'd kid behind the counter "Evis" told me there was no manager. when I asked him who is in charge, he quips everyone. Delivery from this location is *ALWAYS* undercooked and limp, even when you ask them to cook it "well done". Once we went here a full hour before their posted closing time and they told us we could not order for "dine in". While we waited for the order to go, one employee proceeded to hot-mop the tile floor around our feet in the waiting area with a noxious cleaner.
I'm order a personal pan pizza and a garden salad and they totally got the wrong salad with lettuce and peppers! This salad was so far off from a garden salad. I will never order for delivery again with Round Table pizza again. Poor service in placing a order. 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

I don't know why I keep coming back here but this was the last time. - Ordered online - Showed up at the scheduled time when it said it'd be ready - They told me it's not ready yet.. come back in 20 minutes - All good maybe they're busy, come back in 20 - Pizza is cold To top it off the dude in the back isn't wearing a mask, and they're out of red peppers. Round table is the best but this location is terrible.
Hi everyone who read this, I want everyone to know what happen at this place, the owner of this place is stealing the tips of he's worker's yes is right, he's stealing the tips all the tips that everyone leave there in credit cars he take off from their checks every week, for example if you left $5 on tips in form of credit card that worker is gonna have his check with $5 less that day. I like to advise you to try to leave your tips on bills otherwise the tips are for this stealing owner,
Over the last few months delivery service has really gone downhill. We used to never have a problem with an order or delivery time, but over the last few months literally every order delivered had some problem ranging from missing items to being over 1.5 hours late. I miss the good service and friendly, accurate delivery people they used to have. Unfortunately, the repeated problems have caused us to stop any further orders from this location.
Worse customer service ever. Ordered a pizza with everything and cheese twist. Bill was 35. Gave delivery person 40. Got a burnt cheese pizza. That took over 2 1/2 hours to get here. And the lady on the phone said it was our fault. Plus the cheese twist sucked. Never ordering from them again.
Worst service of any Roundtable. Passive aggressive employees, no accountability. I understand things come up with drivers, no fault on that. But there was no follow up explaining why my delivery was taking an additional hour, and nothing offered to compensate for the inconvenience. Not even a discount code for my next order. I never leave bad reviews but when I get this bad of service I have to tell all!
Ordered at 4:15....it's after 6pm....supposed to be here at 5:05. I called ten minutes ago and they said the driver left a half hour ago. Didn't even call that they were running late and we literally live 5 minutes away. After the pizza got here it was luke warm as to be expected with being so late. Not only that I was charged for an item they didn't give me. No refund due to the manager not being there and didn't give me a copy of the receipt. Not ever ordering there again.
My order was supposed to be ready at 9 pm. Then i got a txt from round table saying it will take a little longer 9:15 pm, then got another txt saying 9:30. I got there and my order was missing and 15 min later at 9:45 the girl in the front desk ask me to take half of my order and to wait for another 10 min for the rest. During the time I was there, there were 4 girls employees opening all the pizza boxes, looking to see which was mine. I do not recommend this place.
*They do not make pizza's here. DO NOT EAT HERE, THEY RIP YOU OFF!!!!!! I ordered a gluten free combination pizza with jalapenos. I feel like I was riped off. To start I only came in by accident I ment to order my pizza from Mountain mike's in Castro Valley where I usually order from. I ended up calling this place but once I noticed I thought this will work too. As I have ate at a another Round Table pizza location. I ended up going in to dine in. First they were going to over charge me then the owner (I think) made sure I was charged correctly. Then I sat down and when they came with my pizza it didn't have the jalapenos I was charged for. Neither was it Gluten free. All I know is once I took my first bit I noticed the bread (crust) was cold and felt like old crummy bread didn't match temperature with the cheese on top. I didn't say anything until my husband mentioned how the bread felt off too. The veggies on top were also cold. We only ate one piece each and we ended up just picking off some of the toppings. The rest of the pizza was left there. I let the waiter know before we left how unsatisfied I was and showed her how the break just separates from the break and the bread is all clumpy. She (waiter) just said oh sorry and walked away. She just left and continued to place orders. I hate how I had already paid and they didn't even offer for my money back or a discount for something I couldn't eat as it was a really bad pizza. HOW IN THE WORLD CAN SOMEONE MESS UP SO BAD ON A PIZZA. I felt like the bread we were given was an old cooked bread that they put toppings on and placed back in the oven. I wish I could call the cops on them for stealing from people like that. These people are thiefs. My husband and I had to go pay again to get dinner. So imagine how upset I am of how these thiefs stole from us. *sorry I didn't take picture guys I was so upset I could not stand being there another second.
Very disappointed. I came to this round table on lunch with a friend yesterday, and was please to know that dine in was open. Got a good, melty cheesy pizza, and was sooo happy with service and food, i decided to bring my 5 kids for dinner today. I ordered xtra large pepperoni, 6 twist and 24 wings for dine in. They gave us a table number, but never brought out pizza. When we went to ask, they gave us a cold pizza. I told them the whole reason we ordered in was to have a fresh pizza. The cashier said they would remake it, but instead brought the same pizza 10 minutes later..just reheated,- which was not the same as a fresh one. I recommend not to deal with the night group and very disappointed that they thought we wouldnt notice. I will not recommend this location and sorry that this store has horrible employees
I recently placed a order at this Roundtable located on Redwood Rd and the messed up the order so bad they put a credit on our phone number to use on the next order. I wasn't going to call this location again but since we had the credit I felt obligated. I called to place a order for a combo pizza, they currently have a coupon for that takes 6 off the pizza so when I placed the order I let them know I have a coupon. Eric who was the rep that answered the phone says ok here is the total, I told him due to the error on our last order we are suppose to have a discount so the total he quoted was wrong. He then argues with me and tells me he cannot adjust the price so I asked for a manager of course no mgr is available. The customer service is horrible and something needs to be done. They messed up on my original order then tried to overcharge me for the correction order and then in order to get a mgr to correct it I was told to come the next day. Do not order from this RT maybe when they start losing business they'll do better. Its really a shame !!
there was a horrible employee! he told me that he changed it on the computer for me and that my pizzas can be picked up on the 18th at 2 pm, told me that his name was zach after I asked, and hung up on me. Grubhub stills shows that my order wasn't changed and my pizzas were meant to be picked up at 5:30-40 or so on the 16h. Kimberly, MA apologized for the issue and refunded me entirely. (I decided to check Grubhub after failing to recieve an email confirmation of the change. He lied 3x about changing it for me. ) Doubt that he is "Zach" , too. Hope he didn't waste teh food by tossing t. I'd hate for him to eat my pizzas
Don't want to go to this one in Castro Valley again. Hard time with the girl taking order, needs some training on how to be nice. Very rude and hard to make her understand what we wanted, don't think she wanted to be there,shouldn't work with the public. Pizza was COLD AND SOGGY. Haven't had this at other Round Tables. Was not happy.
First off when you sign up for contactless delivery. and the drive ring the doorbell then makes you sign the receipt that is not contactless. he then tries to hand me the pizza box. I had to tell him to put it on the bench. that is not cantactless. 2nd. when you app is very detailed about what I want and I put in 24 wings and 2 blue cheese and 2 rnch dressing that is what I expect silly me right. got 24 wings jamed into a small box and no dipping sauce. how do you eat wings with no dipping sauce? so call the store the first person want's to take my order can't figure out they messed my order. I haven't taken you order how can it be wrong. The second person Leslie says hold on. comes back said she talked to the manager and I can bring the wings back and they will make new ones and get me the sauce or she can give me 15% off the next order. I ask to speak to the mananager. she puts me on hold again and comes back and says he said the same thing. I said what? That I want to speak to him. She then says he is not there. What is going on down there? Why would I want to drive there myself if I ordered delivery?
Bad customer service. We reserved the banquet room for our kids birthday a month ago. We arrived and while we started setting up and decorating, an old lady came up to me yelling at me and said that we need to get out of that room. She was very rude and if she had an issue, the worker should have come talk to us instead. The worker told us later that they messed up and didn’t write us down in the book for the proper room. There was another party today too and they decided to give them the room in the book since they have a party here every month. Whether I am a monthly customer or not I should not have been bumped from the banquet room that I requested.
Will not go back to this location. It's worth the extra 5 minutes to drive to the hayward location. Ordered online and asked for a 20 oz drink, ranch on the side, and no onions. The order was wrong. 90 minutes later, I received a 2 liter, red and green onions on my pizza and no ranch. When asking the delivery guy if the ranch was in there he said "no was there supposed to be?" I said yes, I asked for no onions and ranch. He said sorry and walked away. So I put on my shoes and drove the order back and asked for a refund. The lady at the counter gave me $17.21. I asked where the rest was. She said my total was $17.21, I said I paid $19.03. she said they wouldn't refund the tip. I walked out of the store. Why wasn't my refund in full? This whole ordeal took 2+ hours and I didn't get what I ordered, plus my time and money spent driving to the store.... Where's the rest of my money? I was not rude when asking to be refunded for an order I waited 90 minutes for. Had I received a full refund I would have not wrote this review and just chalked the experience up to somebody having a bad day. TERRIBLE customer service from both the delivery guy and the lady at the counter.
I’m a person that normally doesn’t do reviews. I’ve been a loyal customer to This establishment for years. At my last order the drover called and said he was at my gate. I told him he has to park and walk in to my apartments. He yelled at me and said he couldn’t park. So I met him at gate. Tonight I’m suffering from illness. I received the same call, I apologized and said I wouldn’t be able to walk out. The driver started yelling and screaming at me! He didn’t deliver my pizza. I called his manger and his response “ let me call my driver because there’s two sides too a story”. Ok? So I wait well he puts me on hold.Then he gets on and tells me driver isn’t answering his phone and he’ll ask him why he couldn’t deliver when he returns from delivering. Ummmm I told him I will contact corporate if I could have his name and he refused. No refund. , no Im sorry this happened. Im absolutely stunned how a establishment like this could be so blatantly rude and non apologetic for their employee. Manager was obviously not professional and not qualified for this position. They lost this loyal customer for good.
We always get our pizzas from this location lot of staff i have always met before are awesome and amazing. This time on my visit on 26th Feb around 7 pm, we have ordered 2 XL Large Pizzas and when we get there to pick our pizzas we have been encountered with the Manager named Maria. My Uncle asked for Jalapenos and Ranch with our Orders and she did not gave us what he requested that made my uncle feel so bad and he got upset but she did not cared he asked for the manager and she said she is the manager and cant provide us, we were expecting some people out there we ordered 2 Xl pizzas My Uncle also said we come here a lot and we have never been denied before with such a request but she did not listened however i paid for what she asked. We got so upset and felt bad in front of people out there, we asked for Ranch and Jalapenos but she has not put a single Ranch only Jalapenos with 2 Extra Large Pizzas. Extremely Rude Manager (Maria). I have not seen such a Manager working in the front and not taking care of the Customers and arguing on such a small stuff (Jalapenos and Ranch). Hopefully we will not be coming to this Round Table for sure, it was embarassing for me how she talked and ignored and not said Thanks in the end, didnt bothered. I hope she does a Good Job thats why she is a Manager but i didn't find any quality what the Manager is suppose to have. Managers generally come and handle the situation not make there customers upset. I hope no one else would have to deal with this after today.
I recently started getting pizzas from this place. I usually love there pizzas until they serve me this uncooked pizza yesterday, I placed my order at 4:24 and suppose to pick it 30 mins after, But I arrived at 5 something, and found out that they haven’t even started my order yet , I waited another half an hour and this lady who was helping me out, was very rude. She didn’t even said sorry that they were late and blamed machine for all that had happened , Man, I wish I knew her name but she looked Asian with golden hair blonde , She needs to learn hospitality, learn how to treat and talk to costumers specially when you do mistake, and should apologize!! when I let them know about my raw pizza, first thing she asked was if I wanted my refund, I would love to have that same pizza cooked again I understand , I’m chef myself I know sometimes kitchen gets intense but it doesn’t mean that you play with peoples food and their feelings and give them raw food( I saw her pulling out my snow white looking pizza out of the oven by herself to ruin it). I think she could learn at least to apologize to people..

Ordered a stuffed crest wombo combo. The stuffed wasn’t defrosted, so we had to wait an extra 15 minutes. When we got our pizza, there was some quality issues with the stuffed crust. The cheese seemed undercooked and a weird texture and the crust was doughy. It would be nice if we had gotten a phone call, since you have the number, to let us know that there was a possible issue. This is the second time I have had that issue with the crust from this location. I am not sure if this is a defrosting issue with those crusts… but that’s definitely the main reason that I get pizza from Round Table. 100% not worth the price you pay for these pizzas.
Don't count on getting your pizza. Granted new years eve but absolute disaster 12 people waiting for pizzas who had come in at the timw they were told would be ready waiting anywhere additional 10-30 mins or possibly more cause thats when we gave up and left. We tried to eat in house and gave up after 35 mins, the time estimate when we tried to pickup for later was "a long time."
Make sure to check your pizza at this place, especially take-out. They will short you on the toppings and will not put cheese or sause on half of the pizza. It's happened 6 times at this location. It's a hit or miss at this place and never consistent.
