I absolutely love the happy hour here! A slushey and pretzel sticks for inder 3 dollars! Amazing! Also they have orange julius! Cant go wrong with Dairy Queen!
More then just icecream at this DQ. Full food options as well and never have we had a disappointing trip. Staff has always been nice, courteous and professional. Great place to stop for a quick meal or treat when driving through the Coachella valley.
Satisfied! First time habing DQ in over 20 years. Burger and fries were hot and fresh, it actually looked like it does in the picture and that's not common. Good price for a good burger, I'll be back. Thanks DQ for not bring wack.
Great place to go for many things - you can get a blizzard or shake when you have a hankering, and the onion rings are some of the best anywhere. Burgers are fresh and tasty. Make sure you make a note of what comes on the burgers so you can get them how you want them.
Employees at the drive through window was super professional! I saw the young lady put on gloves to put napkins in our bag. I never seen this before at any fast food restaurants! I thought that was pretty cool.
Ice cram is OMG. (Great). The cheeseburge I don't think it was ral meat. But let's be truthful. You're going there for the ice cream.
So far out of the fast food I've treated self with this by far makes me want to stop by more than once every 5 years or longer. I have a new favorite and can actually say I enjoyed the burgers 🍔🍔
Ice cream is always on point, the Western double cheeseburger is highly recommended and their shakes taste like they're made with real ice cream. Highly recommended five stars
I stopped in for a burger and was pleasantly surprised to see cheese curds on the menu. Both the burger and curds were perfect. Too bad this location is off my usual route or I'd be stopping there frequently.
Food is always fresh and hot. Fries are crisp without salt so one can add their own amount of salt. Soft serve sundaes are on point.
I love having a DQ nearby in case I’m in the mood for some ice cream! Very efficient and quick service. Thanks!
WoW a Dairy Queen!! I took my 91 year old best friend...she got 6 Ice Creams to go!! One of each flavor...the service was AWESOME 👍 Thank You Dairy Queen, nice place to sit and relax as well...
Amazing! We come here about every week for the last year. Today, one of my 4 kids dropped their cone, she was crying in the drive thru and one of the gentlemen gave us a replacement. I am so appreciative on the good things that always happen here, great food and service. This DQ is hands down the best in over a 80 mile radius.
Came in about 1:25 Thursday afternoon, fresh food, two gentlemen working pleasant, and great customer service.
This is our second time coming to this establishment. The first time the service wasnt good. This time we came in for dinner and dessert. The young man at the counter greeted us great and was very friendly. His name is Bradley. He made such a difference on our second visit we will now return for a third time with more family and friends. Thanks Bradley for the great service.
Incredible large chocolate dipped cone! Good fries nice and crispy.. saw them microwaving a burger patty though so.. not so keen on that especially since it was for my husband.. otherwise good and fast service.
Haven't been to DQ in years. Coupon deals took us there. Fries were good with more dipping choices than most fast food places. Spent less than $20 for 2 guys (4 burgers, 2 fries, 2 drinks, 2 sundaes). We ordered 2 extra burgers because we thought for the price they may be small but they weren't small so we didn't eat the 2 extra burgers. The Sundaes were small but satisfying. I forgot hiw good DQ soft serve ice cream is. The guy who took our oder was very nice as well. Wishing you peace.
Well-made food. Guy was new and it showed, but he was helpful and obviously doing his best. It wasn't terribly busy, but he was working hard like it was a rush. Great engagement when we were talking to him. Everything was hot and fresh (no treats today), and best of all, correct. There was a little bit of a wait, but it was lunch time, and they had a fairly busy drive-thru, so it's understandable. A lot of places are difficult to find or get into and out of on this area, but this location was pretty easy overall. Lobby and tables were clean, which is always appreciated.
Update: Went there again today, January 31, 2033, and guess what! There was a sign on the speaker at the drive thru that said they were sold out of ice cream. Went there, and they had no ice cream. Diary Queen with no ice cream! What the heck. :( The manager called and let us know it wasn't that they were out of ice cream. It was because their ice cream machine broke. We went back a second time, the machine was fixed. The ice cream and the service were great!
The guys working that day made a great peanut buster parfait. It had been many years since the wife and I had one. Back then ( prior to 2010) we paid .99 each with a coupon. This day we paid $8.79 each. It was worth it though as long as you only do once or twice a decade. One thing that makes them special is they still use Spanish peanuts. I only mention this because they used to use Spanish peanuts in Mr. Goodbars but have switched to regular peanuts. To me me Mr Goodbars have been destroyed by this. Spanish peanuts have a unique flavor that is fantastic with chocolate. If Dairy Queen ever changed their peanut buster parfait to regular peanuts it would destroy the unique flavor. I have not eaten a Mr Goodbar once I realized the change, which was immediate.
Honestly the best eating experience we had on our vacation. Impeccable service to the point that I wanted to leave a tip. The manager should be incredibly proud of the staff on the weekend of July 23, 2016 including Kassandra. As for the food, it was fantastic. The chicken ranch sandwich is my new favorite food ever. Great creamy smoothies and blizzards. We ended up going twice on July 23. 2 different staff shifts, same great service. Great service makes the food taste even better. PS We went to DQ in cerritos and garden grove after our vacation. The service wasn't as good and the smell in the valley view location made us want to hurry up and eat then leave quickly with no desert. Cathedral City gave us really high expectations.
I saw the reviews before coming to this restaurant so I was very spectacle on eating here but I’ve had the best experience coming to this Dairy Queen. I was greeted with a fat smile by the employees and they were respectful to me especially the employee Jaden. I went on a Wednesday he was working there I was flabbergasted with how professional he was, as soon as I got there he let me know what they did and didn’t have. Then he proceeded to show me the available options furthermore making it easier for me to make my choice. Although they didn’t have everything I still enjoyed a very delicious cone of ice cream and chicken strips. 10/10 I will 100% be returning .
We came through the drive thru after school and ate in our car watching Tarzan. We got the 6 piece chicken strip basket with a small blue raspberry slushie w/ranch dipping sauce. The young lady at the window (Jenesa)was super nice, polite, patient and very friendly (my son thinks she is "very beautiful"... food was perfect... well seasoned and not over or under cooked. 😁 very pleased all around 😀
The staff here is fantastic, super friendly and welcoming! I didn’t expect to have such a great time just placing my order, but their energy made it enjoyable. On top of that, the service was impressively fast. My food came out fresh and absolutely delicious. It’s definitely a great spot to grab a bite. I’ll be stopping by again for sure!
The staff was awesome, very friendly and outgoing! Honestly never expected to actually enjoy my time just ordering my food, let alone getting it so quickly and delicious! Definetly a good stop for a bite to eat.
Not the best Blizzard I've ever had but certainly a nice treat during a long trip. Parking lot was spacious and provided a nice place to post up and rest for a few minutes.
Great place. Everyone is usually VERY friendly. Unfortunately their Vanilla ice cream machine does go out from time to time. Other than that. Top notch.
Can't go wrong with Dairy Queen, whenever I'm in the lower desert I always pull off of Date Palm and drive through here. The ice cream is good, satisfying and the location is convenient.
Revisit my teen years. night cruising the strip. Which was from one dairy queen to the other. When gas was 32 cents a gal And 65 cents was round trip!! A trail of dripping soft serve one way. And mustered road markers the other way. All this with the queen herself; Waiting with our rewards. Michael..
This place has a good environment. The food is good and have great combos that help you save. The ice cream is really good. A great variety to choose from in blizzards and many more. The only reason why I didn't 5 star it is because the ice cream machine stops working and they will stop serving ice cream due to that and also because the restrooms need to checked up on more often. Also if your gonna get something small I recommend to get in dine in when drive thru is packed.
Go there as a stop on the way home. Usually I get an Oreo Blizzard. Sometimes a snack too. Good service a little bit hard to get in and out of the drive thru but easy after a couple of times. Friendly people so far. 👍
The service here was awful, the staff was not friendly and we waited for 20 minutes just to place our order, we didn’t realize we would have to wait another 20 minutes to get our food. The food was the standard of Dairy Queen so it was good. The dining area was clean, the women’s bathroom needed to be freshened up. I hope this was just a bad day for this staff not a everyday occurrence for this location.
As always Dairy Queen ice cream is always good only thing I don't like about the blizzards are too many toppings in there can't even get a bite of ice cream without 12 pieces of candy in your mouth at one time you're a sweet lover the place is fo you
Typical DQ, if they've got the staff the service is quick and accurate. If you get unlucky and visit at an odd time when there's a lot of customers showing up out of the blue and they are closing, takes a lot of time. No reflection on the establishment, but impatient customers can cause problems at this location
Nice facility. Smelled better than most DQs, who often seem to have a problem with cleanliness. This one had a problem with timeliness. We arrived at 10a, right when they open - or were supposed to open. Doors weren't unlocked until 10:15a.
Good place to get ice cream and a quick bit to eat, but unfortunately takes to long to be waited on. I've been here for about 15 min and seen several people walk out because they are tired of waiting. Seems like the young staff doesn't care.
Everyone knows what DQ is like. And this one was fine. The reason for 3 stars is they messed up my order. I don't know about you all... but I'm getting a lot of messed up orders and for me... it's getting old.
This location has good food and great ice cream however the customer service and closing everything down 20-30 min before closing is confusing makes this hit or miss at night. If you're going to close just turn out the sign instead of telling g people you're closed with the sign on.
The staff was nice and friendly. The food took a long time to come and my burger was barely warm at all. The seat was comfortable enough, but there wasn't much leg room at all,our knees were almost touching and we kept stepping on each other’s feet.
Tried it twice .. thought maybe it was a fluke that my food was definitely sitting around for a while before I came in, cold and blah… second time same thing , maybe a few months later.. possibly the same food from the last batch. On the bright side .. they will hand you your blizzard upside down to freak you out .. that gives them 3 stars from me
This location is very understaffed. We go there almost every week and the food is great especially the $ 6 meal. But it took 10 minutes for us to get waited on and then 17 minutes to get the food. There was only one person ahead of us. The poor staff were running around as fast as they could. With this location being right off the frwy at Date Palm they get alot of drive through traffic. They need more help!
Extremely long wait times at the drive through. 15 minutes to get a shake at 3pm. I get down time, but wow. The shake was at least very good. Don't go if you're in a hurry.
The ice cream here never fails me but the food here I hate to say it but it sucked. If you want to eat real food don't get it at dairy queen. Everything was just eh for the price it wasn't worth it espically the pretzels the cheese for them was absoulty disgusting! The burgers and fries weren't bad and the chicken tenders were flavorless. The food isn't worth the price but will be back for more blizzards.
My wife and I decided to get a treat. They had a peach Blizzard, so I ordered it because it's a seasonal thing, and they were out. This is the desert, and off the highway, they need to do better with their logistics. Besides that everything was great
Drive-in was quick to take our order and prep our order, and helpful when asking for extra napkins. Only bummer is how much money was spent for two ice cream products….way too much money for what we ordered.
I love DQ especially the banana split. I ask for cherry to be substituted for the chocolate sauce. That way I get 4 servings of fruit and 3+ servings of calcium-rich and low fat ice milk and whipped cream. But this guy says they don't have cherry syrup so I said 2 servings of strawberry (normally 1 strawberry, 1 pineapple, 1 chocolate). I got the 2 servings of strawberry but no pineapple; instead he gave me chocolate. What part of substitute for chocolate did he not understand? Also, the ice milk was not soft serve; it was hard scooped. Menu items should be standard across stores.
Friendly people, but my burger was barely warm, no ice or c02 in the soda fountain and most flavors were unavailable. The onion rings and ranch were really good. Also this didn't effect my visit but their ice cream machine was broken.
Drivethru absolutely sucks if there is any kind of line. Lack of employees, maybe. We waited 15min behind a guy waiting to just get his order in. When I arrived they didn't say anything, I said hello a few times.. Just was getting shake. When I got up to the window to pay, I politely asked why does it take so long to answer and take an order, The guy working said Oh we're busy. Ok..funny there was only 1 car in the parking lot and us in the drive thru. We like Dairy Queen, hope customer service gets better! or we'll go somewhere else.
Sun just set, and Here I sit, still at the order window, five full minutes from when a voice crackled out, "Just a second please." This place has no way out of the drive-thru, so stuck here we are. ..... Now we have ordered, an ice cream cone, thatz all, But here we still are, waiting in the drive, nine full minutes at this ridiculous place. Tthis has happened before, at this location, stuck in the line because they ran out of ice cream but there's no way out of the line. The young people who work here are always helpful and friendly and working hard, I guess. But some sort of process bottlenecks keep happening here.
These kids should work on their customer service skills, it's always a terrible day for these people they don't smile, say thank you or show any manners at all. Not even a "welcome to dairy queen" just "how can I help you?"
They seemed overwhelmed in the druvethru today. Made the dude in front of me and me pull to front to wait in hot car for food, took an extra 20 mins. They forgot the other guys 4 drinks and 4 blizzards, and they forgot my fries. When I asked for the fries, the girl questioned me as tho I was lying lol, and the other guy had to go in to get his ice cream and beverages because it took so long. My food was cold and disgusting, I threw it out. Didnt feed it to my dog
I went for dinner with my husband & the doors were locked when there was customers still inside eating and some were trying to get out. The tables were dirty there was a homeless sitting by the restroom that would get up & go behind the counter & grab things. I ordered a cheeseburger & it wasn't on my receipt so I had to go back & reorder it & it ended up being cold .
Not the same Dairy Queen I knew as a kid. The hamburger was not hot the fries were OK the blizzard was good as always. It seemed to be staffed by a bunch of teenagers there were too busy talking to their friends and having a good time then dealing with patrons coming in
It seems like every other time I come here, the ice cream machine isn't working. I always make a mobile order so it's even more of an inconvenience. The staff is always friendly, but come on, what is this? McDonald's?
Stopped in for a blizzard and waited 20 minutes just to give my order and another 30 minutes to get it they only had three people working, and nobody was insync with anyone else they were not communicating with one another complete chaos! This place needs serious help!!!
once AGAIN its very HOT outside (NOT a surprise in Palm Springs Summer) !!! and the ICE CREAM MACHINE cant produce freezing BLIZZARDS...but SOFT SERVE BLIZZARD... same as LAST SUMMER... and NO SOLUTION to THE product you offer...ice cream....this is UNACCEPTABLE for an ice cream shop... whoever the owner is you are doing a lousy job of solving this problem after having 6 months to do so...I and my 3 teen grandkids will not be regular at your store till this is solved.
$7.00 meal deal Cheese burger, fries, drink, and a sundae! Can't beat that! Gave 2 stars because they are always out of lemonade and multiple other things. I have been here 10 times or more and every time they are out of something I order. Advice to the owner: Get serious about your business and keep it stocked with everything on your menu. Not getting any repeat customers this way. Run some commercials on radio or TV and drum up some new business.
The bathrooms were filthy (lacking seat covers, toilet paper, toilets barely flushed...) Food was slow to get and was mediocre. At least my Blizzard was to DQ standards.
It took five minutes for anyone to place our order inside And it wasn’t even busy. Didn’t get our drinks until halfway through our meal. We had to finally go up and ask if we could get our drinks. The staff didn’t really care and it didn’t seem like they wanted to be there so bad hadn’t been to DQ there And they were not impressed. I won’t be going back there and it’s unfortunate because I live close.
Stopped here for some hot food while driving through CA. I will say I’m posting this as someone who worked at DQ as a teenager, so maybe I hold them to a higher standard, but it was disappointing. Our order via drive through was completely messed up, and it wasn’t repeated back to us to ensure accuracy. We waited for at least 3 minutes at the pick up window before we were greeted, and we were not given our entire order. We had to wave down the person at drive through to get our drinks. When we opened the bag, the order was wrong and again, disappointing. Cold, half filled containers fries (we ordered onion rings), and the sodas had no ice and were flat, as if they were poured awhile ago and was waiting on the counter, and wasn’t a Diet Coke as ordered. This place could definitely use some additional staff training, and when I take the route again, I will not be stopping here.
Twice now, first time no ice cream, this time chocolate only, out of products, took 15 plus minutes in drive thru, will have to think about stopping again and we are locals, the owners need to do something before it's to late
Had cold fries idk how busy or not busy. I wish stuff like this is resolved. Especially going thru the city for the gas & food from the exit. They did replaced, both fries, I wish they can or should just get it right the first time. The burger was mediocre but it was at least hot.
There was "no" Dairy Queen available at this Dairy Queen off the I-10 in Cathedral City on Dec. both times we went out of our way, that being Dec. 25.26.27. There was however a hand made sign listing all of the items unavailable at this quasi "Dairy Queen". What gives????
Went for cheat day treat. Pull into drive thru and am told they have no icecream. How could dairy queen run out of icecream? That's like burger King running out of beef. So sad
They are an hour before closing time and apparently pulling the McDonald's card of not having vanilla ice cream, trying to push chocolate ice cream on my family, apparently nobody buys chocolate duhhh... This is the desert, it's summer time, prep accordingly and don't cap ur sales... 👎 #$camLikely
I think it’s a subway now
I got the $6 meal deal and ask to upgrade my soda to a large size and ask for lettuce and tomato and onion to be added to the sandwich... Despite the fact that the difference was $0.30 between a medium and large I was told my upgrade would be $1.70 more... when I got to my car I discovered that I had no lettuce and tomato or onion on the sandwich I also added two for $4 chili dog and chicken fingers... the chili dog was fine... The chicken fingers were over crunchy and a little bit tough on the outside... so I ended up getting another beverage at McDonald's for $1... my upgrade for the ice cream sundae to a blizzard was served to me with a cap on and was turned upside down... LOL... It would definitely not fall out if it had the lid on LOL... Everybody is getting so complacent and careless
First time in drive thru and the employee who was a female was very rude! I asked if they had any specials and she ignored me but kept giggling with the rest of her co workers. Then a second employee (male) proceeded to take our order but couldn't hear what I was asking because his female co workers kept GIGGLING! I asked again about any specials and he told me that if I waited till Friday he would have a coupon, but why would I wait till Friday if I'm obviously in the drive thru now? I backed out of the drive thru and didn't even get to order.
Homeless people congregating outside and inside.. which is why I had to go through the drive thru that took a long time and the kids working tonight made me park my truck in the front of the store to wait for my cones?!?? took them long enough to bring my ice cream meanwhile people were driving through the drive thru with there ice cream! strange that 3 cars left with their food and I had to park outside… never had to do that before… WILL NOT BE GOING BACK
I have been to this location and had good experiences. However, on March 19, 2022 I wen tot this location and ordered my usual treat. The ice cream was icy, hard and not creamy. It had the same consistency and taste as McDonalds frozen yogurt. It is clear that hey ran out of DQ product and made a substitution. At $7 for a PBParfait, this is unacceptable. Give people what they are paying for...
Horrible experience, out of everything, employees don't even know their menu items. Save your money, don't get trapped in the drive thru line. Would give a zero star if I could.
The staff there is incompetent they was basically forcing me to order the moment I pull up asked me what I wanted and then when I said what I wanted they repeated a completely different order then they asked me to pull up so I do and word for word aid what I wanted and STILL got the wrong order😐 ATP clear the whole team and start fresh cause this don’t make no sense…
I just spent $8.90 for a small dip cone and a medium dip cone. Are you kidding me? I was in the drive thru which made it hard to cancel the order and the reader board was unlit so I couldn't see the price before I ordered. That price is a total rip off. I'll never eat at that DQ again. You got me once. You will never get me again.
Went there for blizzards with my son. 3 days later I noticed they charged my debit card twice for the same amount! Never contacted by the owner after I called customer service. Great blizzards, but watch your account after.
This Dairy Queen appears to be permanently closed. All signage is gone. Building appears abandoned.
Tonight was the third time in third time in two weeks we've gone to get blizzards only to find out when we got there that they were out of vanilla ice cream. It's Dairy Queen... How do they run out of their main product!? Three times!? Oh yeah and the first time we went, we decided to get food instead only to get home and discover they only put the fries in the bag and not the burgers. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.
Ice cream machine is always broke or their out of something. Then you get to wait in line for 15 minutes cause there slow even though you didn't get to order. Third time this has happend.
Waited in a long line on cars to try and order something they ran out of but not conveyed over the speaker. How are you out of Vanilla, Seriously..... Like having peanut butter but no Jelly. Fool me once, won't fool me twice.
What gives with this place? Is it slowly going the route that the KFC went in Palm springs? Slowly died because of poor management from the GM. Either something isn't working here or they're out of something or the same thing a week later. The most common I'm hit here with is no sauces. The drink machine hasn't worked in that lobby for months. You'd think a simple call to coke would fix that but no. So again is this place dying/about to close. I wonder if the district manager that over sees this place knows how bad the GM is running this location.
My 5 star review? You get a zero. Closing early March 30th 9,20 pm. I drove 25 minutes to get there after I saw it advertised closing at 10.00. Employee stated they were closing a little early. After driving away 20 minutes later I called. Employee stated we are closing right now.. I said we were just there at 9.20 and you said you were closed then. So in mid sentence he hung up on me. I think these employees need a babysitter.
Came here and they ran out of ice cream?!? There is no one ever here, how did they run out of ice cream? Been here in the past and the chocolate dipped cone was immediately melted. Also the prices are insane for what you're given. Might as well to go to a high end ice cream store. The regular food was no good either. I've been to a DQ that had pretty good quality food but this is not one of them. Very disappointing DQ.
2/3 times of coming, no ice cream available. Absolute embarrassment of a dairy queen to the chain. Do not come. Avoid at all costs. Dissapointing, to say the very least. I'd expect this location to close for good at this rate. Or at least change the name to Non-Dairy Queen since they fail to provide any dairy.
Wouldn't sell large blizzards because "it breaks their machine"... LMAO ok .... These teens only cared about flirting with one another rather than helping the few customers that were inside the store. Awful customer service. The owner doesn't seem to care as she's commented back on all the negative reviews regarding her store but nothing changes.
A Disappointing Dairy Queen Experience: Out of Banana and Out of Change Review: My recent visit to Dairy Queen left me utterly disappointed, yet again. My craving for a delicious Banana Blizzard was met with the news that they were out of bananas. How can a staple ingredient be missing? But that wasn't the end of it. When I tried to pay with a $20 bill, I was told they couldn't accept it without exact change. It's baffling that a business wouldn't be prepared to handle common denominations. And if that weren't frustrating enough, I couldn't help but recall a few months back when Dairy Queen claimed to have no ice cream at all for over a month! How can a place known for its ice cream consistently fail to deliver? Dairy Queen needs to seriously reconsider its inventory management and customer service policies if it hopes to regain the trust of its patrons.
Tried to get a shake using the drive-thru at 10:05pm today 02/10/2024. When I pulled up to the speaker box an automated message played that said DQ was closed and to come back tomorrow. I was confused as the online hours showed the drive-thru was open until 11pm. As I drove off I noticed an employee outside and asked if the hours online were incorrect and he stated they were open but not serving desserts. It seemed more of a deliberate tactic by the employees to not service guest because why would the automated message be on informing guests they were open with a limited menu? Very disappointing.
Ewwww the women’s bathrooms are gross , So First I ordered and I was disappointed abt them not having the Parmesan chicken , Then I tried to get my free shake with my purchase of more than 1 $ and it didn’t work and I was disappointed abt that because I asked about it when they first took my order
Stopped here on a long roadtrip with my daughter excited to finally give her the experience of great DQ icecream. We of course had to pee first, NO TOILET PAPER, food was horrible!the pretzel with cheese?the cheese shouldn't be called food, service was horrible, Overall SAVE YOURSELF DO NOT GO!
they literally lied to us saying their cook wasn't available because they were on break so they "couldn't" make any food except for fried chicken and fries, ten seconds later their cook comes back in from break but still refused to cook us any food. We still got ice cream and they were very rude to us, I'm pretty sure the ice cream I got was possibly expired it tasted a little sour.
I ordered on your mobile app for 2 blizzards. When I drove the 10 miles to your store, sign on window that says no ice cream. I go inside and your front desk clerk did not know what to do and said to just call back. I’ve called and left 2 voicemails now. Not good service.
Every time we have come, they have been out of something. Once they were out of ICE CREAM and once they were out of most candy to put in Blizzards. One time they were just out of vanilla ice cream—the base for most of their products. And they are always pretty blase about it. I understand the staff have no control, but they could post a sign so you don’t get stuck in the line, which is arduously slow. We would patronize this place so much, but it’s not worth the risk of wasting time in line. We just go down the road to get Sonic Blasts now.
I am shocked that this place is still open. The service I can’t even begin to tell you how slow these individuals are, not to mention, there’s only two workers for the whole place. The food is disgusting. It’s all microwave. The salad was a laughing joke. I waited around for about 30 minutes for what? AMPM hotdogs would’ve been a lot better. To be honest with you, it looked like someone’s leftovers from the trash…Never again will I ever eat here. Giving a whole star is only given so I can leave my review.🤯
I haven't had 1 good experience here. They're slow. I pulled up today and they didn't answer at the menu and when I said hello they said pull up and order at the window. At the window they said they're not serving food. They gave me 2 circus animal blizzards and half of it was just plain ice cream and hardly any cookies. If I wanted a vanilla shake I would have asked for that. They charge more here and for 7$ I would expect more than some vanilla ice cream in a cup. Keep driving or go to sonic down the street. This is a waste of money and time.
Who is in charge of this place?! How are y'all always running out of vanilla ice cream?! It makes no sense! The last time, y'all gave me chocolate without even asking me if I was okay with it first and I can't stand chocolate ice cream. The management needs to do better, or get fired.
Pulling up to the Dairy Queen on Vista Chino felt like stepping into the plot of a survival movie. One lone hero was holding down the fort—taking orders, making food, probably churning the ice cream by hand—and somehow resisting the urge to run out the back door. The drive-through? Forget it. You order directly at the window, so the line moved slower than molasses in January. The menu? About as helpful as a chocolate teapot. I started debating whether I should suit up, jump in, and help out myself. Should I clock in? Do I need a food handler’s card for this? Someone please send reinforcements—this worker deserves a raise, a nap, and a standing ovation. Dairy Queen, get your act together before I come back with a hairnet and an apron!
I ordered a 6 piece chicken strip basket from the drive through at 11:15 am. The guy that took my order said “It’s going to take a while to make that, are you sure that’s what you want?” I asked how long and he replied “5 minutes”. I say no problem. He then asked me if I wanted 4 or 6. I replied 6 (like I had originally ordered) and then he says “okay, 4 piece chicken strip. I say no sir, 6 pieces. Again he says 4. After moving to the window he gets my order right. (I’m still being cool but it seems he’s being a clown on purpose) I get my meal and decide to check it out before I leave. He shorted me a chicken strip. When I go inside to and tell him he says “oh I did didn’t I” and walks from the kitchen with the 6th strip already in a little container. The toast wasn’t toasted, just soaked in butter. Your people are playing silly games with folks and it isn’t cool.
I was initially thrilled to learn their are DQ locations in Utah (grew up going here in Utah) drove 30 minutes out of my way for a giant disappointment. They are out of burgers, out of pretzels, out of toilet paper, can't take cash and the employees have no customer service. I assume either this location has no manager and or the manager needs to be fired.
Line wasn't long, but waited 15min just to order. Then they tell you that about a dozen items aren't available. I just wanted a simple blizzard, but that order was also made wrong! Wow, I just checked my receipt & the guy charged me extra for something I didn't ask for! Deceitful practice!
This Dairy Queen is the WORST!!!! This is our second week in a row trying to come here and again get told they have no ice cream. Why open a business here in Cathedral City that you can't run efficiently. This location either has no ice cream, only chocolate ice cream, or its a 30 minute wait for ice cream or wait our system is down and we can't take any orders right now if you want to come back in 20 to 30 minutes as they are laughing on the drive thru speaker. You either don't know how to hire people to run you business or you don't care about the service you provide to the community. To make it worse I call to talk to the owner and the employee tells me we never see are you home he doesn't come here ever. I asked do you have a number or anything? He said contact Chandi Group USA he has a lot of businesses. Maybe you should spend time at your businesses to follow up on your staff equipment and how its actually running.
