I'm becoming a fan of Jack Allen's Kitchen. I've been at 2 different restaurants, and the service is always excellent. The food is outstanding, and the ambiance is very nice. If you haven't been to a Jack Allen's Kitchen, you should try!

Just finished their gumbo soup. Without question the richest and best tasting I've ever had from San Francisco to New Orleans. Toms house salad with grilled cilantro grilled chicken and ranch vinaigrette dressing was a 10! It has the touch of sweetness that I like. The pumpkin seeds were a very nice touch also. I like the blues music too. The Green Chili Chicken Rice Soup was fantastic. Not on the menu all the time. They rotate the soups. I added three slices of toasted ciabatta bread and a glass of Malbec wine. Oh my! Short Rib Stew (soup) on mashed potatoes! Another JA Kitchen masterpiece! I jokingly called it my delicious gringo menudo! The mashed potatoes slowly mixed with the soup till it thickened to perfection!

My husband & I had to kill some time so we stopped in to eat & we are so glad we did. The food was amazing! Our server was excellent & the place has such an appealing atmosphere. We will definitely be going back!

Jack Allen’s Kitchen is one of the few Cedar Park restaurants that offers freshly prepared, delicious food (that doesn’t come straight out of a SYSCO-procured can sadly like many restaurants), pleasant dining room, and highly professional staff. Their daily specials offered a variety of options to complement an expansive menu - and best of all, their happy hour appetizer deals (before 6 pm or so) offer incredible quality and value. Highly recommend it as a top restaurant in Cedar Park.

I stopped in to this renowned local eatery on a very busy Monday before Christmas. Seating was at a premium, due to the large crowds of shoppers out and about. However, I was seated and attended to promptly... They offer fine service. I had a light lunch of a soda and a large Caesar salad. The crouton bread slices, were absolutely delectable, warm and crunchy/crispy. Decor is lovely and al fresco dining is optional. Full bar available and excellent cocktails, FYI. Prices are somewhat upscale but reasonable and reflect the service and quality of the cuisine. I wish to try this venue again and explore their menu further. Since this initial review I have gotten back to dine twice...more impressed each time. Ravioli gorgonzola appetizer is delicious, and so is the barbacoa quesadilla. Take advantage of the Happy Hour specials which were half-price appetizers and $1 off cocktails. Really good stuff!

It was my birthday and they were awsome. Our server was so sweet and answered all our questions without hesitation! 100% would recommend especially if ur a shy person as they don't make a big noisy commotion but still make you feel very special!

Great Dinner. Our first visit to this new restaurant, Jack Allen's Kitchen, will not be our last. Locally owned and sourced, you are not only getting an amazing meal, but you're supporting Texas and Texas workers like our waiter Alex. He did an outstanding job talking us through the menu, highlighting food specials to include top shelf drink options. We started with the Jalapeño Crab Dip (sorry about the picture, but I had to dig in once it arrived) and the Chips and Salsa. The Dip was an awesome start, light and fluffy with a taste that is truly Texas. The crab, cream cheese and bacon gratin were blended throughly and toasted to perfection with a crown of jalapeños to add that Texas kick. The chips are uniquely shaped and have that homemade taste and texture, very delicious with the perfect crispy crunch. The main courses were timed to perfection and arrived at the temperature that was exact for each food item. First, the Pesto-Marinated Crab Stuffed Chicken, I know a unique twist on surf and turf. I would have to say this dish is nothing short of a flavor bomb for your taste buds. The chicken and crab along with the other ingredients were expertly combined to making this a dish for my favorites. The sides were prepared as described with the pan seared potato cake brought me bake to my Mom's cooking. The Cajun cream sauce, well.....it's fantastic. Our other dish was the New York Strip Chicken Fried Steak. I had to take a picture, you can see it below, of the steak. I've eaten chicken fried steaks almost my entire life and this item was lightly breaded, fat trimmed and cooked to perfection, becoming my favorite place to get a great Texas style chicken fried steak. The steak, no joke, melted in my mouth with a deliciously buttery flavor that enhanced the idea of the breaded coating. I know the vegetables and potatoes were delicious, I ate them all, but I will go to sleep tonight dreaming of that chicken fried steak. There was no way I could eat dessert, but asked Alex if we could see a dessert menu, so I could take a picture to show everyone. They don't have a dessert menu, but ask for it. Alex explained our dessert options and I couldn't help but order one. I'm going to let you get the rundown the way I did, so your imagination can try and match what you order. Alex's description enticed me to order one, but even his outstanding description and my active imagination feel short. Leave room for dessert.

So we visited JA’s Kitchen based on a referral from a neighbor and I am not mad at all. We did reservations and upon arrival, we might have waited 2-3 minutes. Not bad at all. The inside was pretty busy. However, it wasn’t overly noisy at all. There may have been 3-4 tables available. Once we were seated, we were greeted by Allison. She was sweet as a button. Very attentive to our table and she recommended great starters to get our meal going. The food was very fresh and each bite begged you to eat more. Some establishment tends to over season seafood, the crispy catfish was seasoned to perfection. I did the fresh squeeze lemonade and I must say I’m so happy they didn’t dump a pound of sugar into it. The lemonade was so refreshing. Well if you’re in the Cedar Park area, stop by. Being it was very busy when we arrive, I would recommend reservations as well.

My wife and I have been coming here for a couple of years. The staff are friendly. We haven't had anything here that wasn't good. I had the beef barbacoa enchiladas. My wife had the 13 spice chicken pasta. Heads up, it's spicy and is topped with jalapeños.

Very good TexMex food. I ordered the barbacoa enchiladas and shared the carnitas tacos and both were delicious. Their guacamole is outstanding and their chips perfect. I went on a Friday evening and had a great experience and sat almost immediately with a party of 4 when picking an outside table. I will definitely come back again with family and friends.

Absolutely delicious. We made a reservation as Jack Allen's can be very busy. Our table was ready the second we walked into the restaurant. I had Dee Dee's short stack French toast. Exquisite is the word that comes to mind. I, also, had their Don Francesco coffee beverage. Very enjoyable. My husband had their chicken and biscuits. It comes with potatoes. Delicious!! He had their bloody Mary and said it was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Really reliably tasty fare, lunch or dinner. I like to suggest Jack Allen's for work meetings and lunches because it's a great balance between quality and quasi-relaxed atmosphere. Nit stuffy but also in no way totally laid back: not for flip flops, but you won't feel out of place in your professional attire either. I suggest going with the daily specials for both drinks and plates. Not small plates by the way- you're going to get an American-sized, larger portion of better-quality food.

Great Happy hour! Half priced drinks and appetizers! Had pimento cheese, barbacoa quesadilla, and tacos. Great margaritas. Service is always prompt. Clean all around.

Chicken fried chicken w green chili gravy was good. The vegetable medley was very good and the mashers was good after I added butter. Mattie was my server and did a great job!

First visit today. Hopefully not my last, even though I am rarely in this part of the state. Party of 5 for lunch. I had the special of salmon cakes with fried green tomatoes, topped with red pepper and arugula and remoulade that was the best I've ever had. We shared the chunky layered guacamole queso, and OH my goodness!!! We devoured it. Prompt, friendly service. Other meals at the table were pork tenderloin medallions, fried pork chop (biggest I have ever seen), spicy chicken sandwich, and crab stuffed chicken. Portions were large and everyone loved their choices. I think you can't go wrong here!

This is a casual and great local restaurant. The atmosphere and seating is very spacious and comfortable with full bar service as well. The food was delicious and the menu itself provided numerous options. I enjoy the Grilled Salmon served over flavorful fried rice, vegs and salad. My husband loved his Carne Guisada Skillet Tacos. We received excellent service by our waitress Kaleigh H! She was gracious, attentive and thoroughly delightful! I highly recommend this restaurant for everyone..(singles, families etc.)

We went to this place and we really love it. We called and made a reservation and I am glad to that due the walk in line was a little long. The place is awesome and food is delicious, we tried the queso with nachos, the raviolis, fish tacos, barbacoa enchiladas, Tom salad, an blondie pie. I can tell you that everything was amazing. My husband order a natural orange juice, the best orange juice ever, fresh and sweet. You never go wrong with this place, food, atmosphere, and service wonderful.

Jack Allen's is a staple for us. We did our wedding rehearsal there years ago. Every time we go its top notch. Menu items change over time, and keeps it fresh. Sometimes there is a wait but its always worth it.

I absolutely LOVE Jack Allen's Kitchen!! The food is always SO delicious, the service is always excellent, and the atmosphere is always pleasant! The volume of the music is just perfect for being able to hear and have a conversation with whoever you're dining with. It truly is my FAVORITE restaurant of all!!!

Today we had the Killer Cheeses Burger with added Bacon. By far one of the best burgers I’ve had! The bread was a sour dough and oh my! The meat had a great taste and not sure what spices they used but the taste buds went crazy with great flavor. The sweet potato fries had a wonderful seasoning that brought out the sweetness and were dead on ! And crunchy too. Our serve Ken was beyond fantastic. Made great recommendations and was just awesome, ask for him when you go! Needless to say we will be back. We had the soup of the day but for the life of me we didn’t catch the name but it was awesome also! It was a Sausage Chicken something .. but it was awesome !!

What a great restaurant chain :-) Overall, I felt the food is too salty, as we can always add salt but we can never take it away. I decided to sit at the patio since it was so nice outside yesterday and I see this truck finishing it's drop off. Thank you Jack Allen's for remaining true to quality! I promise we are not mad if something is suddenly out of stock:-) definitely grateful for quality over quantity, always! Oh! Well, this is what I am talking about! Hostess super friendly, waitress was fabulous! Knowledgeable of the entire menu and details of preparation of dishes, so honest about everything and totally charismatic and so caring! OMG! There are out there still! We always love the food here. Everything we have tried has been amazing. All our servers have always been incredible. There is a wait depending on what day/time you plan on going. But the food is well worth it. I would recommend always trying whatever specials they have going on. Last time they had a skillet fried shrimp and coleslaw appetizer and it was delicious.

I keep forgetting about this place as, on the surface, it seems like another boring chain. But it isn't. Last meal we had was excellent, the service was great, and the drinks were on point. The only downside was the rather long wait to get a table.

Definitely a hit! Eating here was not a miss. We loved everything about this place. Starting with the complimentary pimento cheese and crackers. We decided to order more. I ordered slow braised beef barbacoa enchiladas. I did not go wrong. Absolutely delicious! We were not disappointed with anything we tried. The waitress was wonderful and very knowledgeable of the items on the menu. She was able to recommend some things for us to try. Great service !

Update; We came here again on July 18th and the food was still awesome. The server, Matthew S., was super fantastic, fun to interact with and very attentive. He deserves 10 stars, a pay raise and a bonus. We came here for the first time on April 11th and had dinner. The food was really good and the unique selections on the menu will keep me coming back. The staff was friendly and everything was nice and clean.

This JA is a new location. My new co.mother.in.law set up this Rehearsal Dinner for 50. She helped JA kick off their 1st event menu. We were seated in their patio area. It is well covered with heaters if we were to need them. Thank God we had the best weather. Paul, our server, and his helpers did a great job serving drinks, 4 different appetizers to each table, salad, dinner, and the yummiest brown brownies. All of the plates were beautifully presented and delicious. Most at our table ordered the salmon and one the enchiladas. Our event went very smoothly and yummy. This is a great place for an group event. There is no extra cost on setups. Come in, enjoy, and go out. Done! Thank You Jack Allen's.. Job Well Done on our Rehearsal Dinner!

Very good food and an awesome waitress. Fried catfish was cooked perfectly, salad was fresh and crisp. I had made a reservation, so we entered with only a minimal wait of less than 5 minutes.

I/WE WOULD GIVE ANOTHER TWO STARS IF POSSIBLE!!!! We aren't from this area so we may have come in at just the right day and the right time but evertything went great. In this area to walk into a restaurant with a decent size group and no reservation usually means long wait times but we walked in talked to the Hostess who worked magic and got us sat within minutes. We received a Brunch menu which had a couple items we all jumped on. Thumbs up to the Hostess Thumbs up to our Server Both were great.

Thank you Taylor and Chef for helping me order a gluten free, dairy free, soy free meal. Eating out is always a gamble that is almost never worth it, but yall teamed up to give me one of the best dining experiences I've had since finding out about my food allergies.

Loved it!! This was my first time at a Jack Allen’s and it was an excellent experience from start to finish! The staff was friendly and we were well-attended during our time there. The food options were diverse, and the choices we made (Baja tacos, red trout salad) were absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very clean and had a wonderful atmosphere. Definitely worth a five star review. I will go again!

I have attended a few large group dinners here and the staff have handled everyone of those with A++ service! They have always been efficient and effective handling orders for so many people. The food has never disappointed and the staff is always up for the challenge. I highly recommend this restaurant whether you have a big group or even just a few people, you will not be disappointed!

Been reading at Jack Allen's for quiet awhile, multiple locations. Every time I've eaten here I've enjoyed the food, and the service. They are consistent, and good. A little on the fancier side from casual dining, but still welcoming. I know I'll be back

We made a reservation and I am thankful we did. It was very crowded, but they got us seated right away. Our service was great as was our food and drinks. The blue crab ravioli was out of this world as were the fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, and the queso.

This our first time at this location in Cedar Park. We had reservations at 7pm for the 4 of us. It was excellent tonight. Our wait staff was prompt and the food was delicious. I had the steak salad and Will had the lobster pasta. We also had desserts....all of them. I have to say that the desserts are some of the best. Highly recommend. This is always a great place to eat and to bring family and friends.

Excellent food Excellent service. The fried calamari was so crispy and delicious. The chips and salsa while good were my least favorite of everything we tried. The Carne guisada was so delicious and cheesy cooked perfectly tender, with lots of flavor. The chicken sandwich was also amazing Will definitely be back I spotted a lot of plates I wanna give a shot.

I'm a big fan of southern food (luckily it's pretty popular around here) so I decided to give Jack Allen's Kitchen a shot, based on some recommendations from friends. And I was really impressed! It was lunch. The atmosphere was amazing, the dining area was spacious with comfortable seating, and there were lots of varieties on their menu to choose from. Simply, it felt like dining in a classy restaurant but with a super friendly vibe. So, far I have tried one of their Burgers and also one of their popular desserts. Both were amazingly great and the portion was just right. The waiter that served us was outstanding. He made sure we were never rushed, and that we were happy with our orders. He checked on us multiple times to make sure we were still doing well. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely go back!

Staff accommodated seating request. Server presented lunch special flawlessly. Meal served warm. Their Shrimp tostadas and shrimp enchiladas were fantastic. My wifes grilled chicken salad was on point. They provided desert for her birthday. It was delicious.

HOPPING PLACE! What a great restaurant. We grabbed dinner here while visiting family in Austin and it was a great experience. I had the salmon with horseradish glaze and it was phenomenal. Cooked well with seasoning it was finished with a horseradish based glaze that was INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend this place and we can’t wait to go back!

Table service was outstanding. Ana/Hannah 😉 was our waitress, and she was absolutely wonderful. Her knowledge of the restaurant, professionalism, and spunk were exactly what we needed. Truly exceptional service. The food was paralleled by her care—great portions, bold flavors, and unique combinations that were delicious. Hostess (Amir) welcomed us with a smile and we were seated without delay. He even spoke to us as we exited. Overall, the food and table service and entrance were excellent and would bring us back.

Really good plates that I would come here to get, however I wouldn't recommend everything. I love the random kitchen plates for everyday day, the half off on Sunday and Monday, happy hour! I definitely recommend their appetizers, mist of those are really good. The burgers are another win. Overall nice spot to come with buisness, friends, or family.

Sunday brunch did not disappoint. The pancakes, breakfast sandwich, and migas were all perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. The fruit on the pancakes changes depending on the season and the apples were fall appropriate!! Don’t skip the biscuits. They were served with whipped butter, strawberry jam and honey in a cute little bottle for drizzling. Service was also really good and although the restaurant was almost full, it was not noisy.

I had a great time at Jack Allen's Kitchen. The chill dining environment is perfect for a get-together. I especially loved the fried dishes - they were incredibly delicious, crispy, and airy. We absolutely love this place - this review is long overdue.. We have tried nearly everything on menu...the food is delicious here! Our favorite is the Catfish appetizer and the salads (Buttermilk Chicken is amazing). 3 Spice pasta, all hand-helds, and Kids menu are all simply delicious. The staff is extremely attentive, especially when there is large crowds! Every visit to this restaurant has been amazing...everytime we come to Cedar Park, we make it a priority to come here (we're from DFW, TX).

Super thrilled with our accidental breakfast choice this morning. We were going somewhere else, but they were packed so ended up at Jack Allen's Kitchen. Great food. The coleslaw with the catfish...oh man....we could have eaten an entire plate of it! The music was perfect and not played so loud it overtook the ability to have conversations. When you go, ask for Amanda! So delightful and attentive. She gave great food suggestions that were spot on. This is a definite do again.

Wow so this place was extraordinary not because it has my last name ( which I did ask for a discount because of it) lol you would have too but it didn't work😜 The environment was really chill and laid back there were drink recipes on the walls and a big picture of Johnny Cash lol which on of my grandsons thought he was someone off of batman😂 Our waitress was very thorough explaining the menu and she brought out a complimentary taste of there house made pimento cheese and flatbread crackers.😊 It tasted Ok because we jacked those things up😁 my husband ordered barbacoa stackers, and they were really good. My husband, my stepson, and my two grandsons and I floored those stackers.😋 My husband ordered the slow brazed beef Barbacoa and enchiladas. My stepson ordered the chicken fries steak with their mixed vegetables. One of my grandson's ordered a hamburger, and mixed vegetables and the other ordered chicken fingers and mixed vegetables, and I ordered the catfish with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. We dropped in for Valentines early in the day. We always get the Queso, so good although it's seems the portions are getting smaller. She had the cheeseburger and I had the hatch burger. Both were good with their amazing fries. Burgers these days for 15 bucks seem a little high but the buns seem to make worth it. Overall a good experience. The bartender was spot on!

Jack Allen's is always a great place to eat. The food is consistently good and seasoned properly. I really enjoyed their chicken friend beef rib but they no longer offer it. When it's on special it's the way. Otherwise, their chicken fried pork chop is fantastic and they have the BEST queso in town. It's got green chili pork and guac in it which is next level. The jalapeno cucumber marg was our favorite drink of the night.

Got the catfish fingers appetizer and it was very good. Also ordered two cocktails. The cocktails are small. The margarita tasted good but had little alcohol. The other cocktail was better. I don't remember the name.

An interesting blend of Tex-Mex & Southwestern style food. Our group ordered different items from around the menu, everyone enjoyed their selections. The quesadilla w barbacoa appetizer had a sweet hint to it, meat was tender and moist w caramelized onions. Not a huge sized one, more like medium. House made pimento cheese spread tasted exactly like pimento cheese LOL. 13 spiced chicken pasta looked pretty good, and judging by a clean plate, I bet my son really enjoyed it! I had the, pan seared mole verde shrimp tacos. Wasn't quite expecting the mole verde sauce as plentiful as it with pumpkin seeds, but it was pretty tasty. The black beans and rice seemed a little bland compared to all the other dishes, but I really prefer heavily seasoned food myself. Mom also had a wedge salad that was huge, a half a head of lettuce.! She couldn't eat but half, so she eagerly fit it in a to-go box. We were able to watch the, hostess prepare the "chalk board" for the daily specials and oh man is she one skilled craftsman with the paint pen.!!!! Definitely more upscale than a place where you order a #2 with sprite. Wait staff recommended some of their other favorites to try next time, looking forward to trying those items next visit.!

This is a nice clean place. It’s a bit pricey, what isn’t in Cedar Park? The place that was here before had potato skins, great appetizer. Maybe some day! It’s not the first one of these, it is Austin bred. This meal is good, try this place sometime. P.S. The desert is wow! This is another visit, Kesha at the bar made me a Texas Tea, so enjoyable.

Terrific service! Excellent appetizers and drinks, especially the fact apps were half price during happy hour! We had the barbacoa stackers and catfish which were both very flavorful! Soup of the day was red pork pozole which is one of our favorites, so we both had a bowl as our main course. Flavor was amazing but soup lacked pork and hominy. Disappointed that it was mostly broth with a few bits of pork and hominy with cilantro and cabbage floaters.

Well everything would have been fine.. but you didn't put a wet floor after moping. I almost fell on the concrete floor. I was ice skating on the water on the floor. Thank God I caught myself. Please do not mop while people are eating. It was dry coming to the table. Wet floor coming to the table from the restroom in the middle of the dining tables. Thank you.

It’s been a while since we’ve been to Jack Allen’s, but we always enjoyed the food. This is our first time at the Cedar Park location. The place is nice and clean and has a rustic look and feel. Checking out the menu, everything under ‘starters’ sounded delicious, but we only ordered the pimento and cheese and the fried pickles. Both were very good. I had the crispy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and the first two bites of the sandwich were great, but I felt the rest of the sandwich after the initial taste was just OK. The sweet potato fries were amazing. The kids had a quesadilla, which was OK and another one had the mac & cheese which they didn’t like. For drinks we ordered the breaking bad margarita, which was excellent. We also ordered the cucumber jalapeño margarita and that was really good. The Customer Service was pretty good and our server checked in on us occasionally. Overall, a thumbs up for this visit.

Everything was pretty good. I ordered the horseradish salmon and I really liked it. The potato cake was really good too. Only thing was we also ordered a steak that was pretty pricey, the steak and pimento potatoes were good but the veggies were a bit subpar - same veggies that came with the salmon. The bartender was very attentive and made great suggestions. We sat at the bar so there was no wait and we got a free appetizer. The seasonal cobbler was really good as well.

Sunday evening Visit to Jack Allen’s Kitchen. Atmosphere is rustic, with lots of unfinished Wood trims. Service was decent. Alcohol Free Mocktails were good: I had the Mango Jalapeño Nada Rita. My guest had the Cucumber Mint Tonic and loved it. Our Appetizer choice was the Layered Chunky Queso w/Chips. Very good. For the Main: My guest had the Toms House Salad w/ Grilled Chicken. She enjoyed that. I chose the Crunchy Catfish and Slaw, which is actually on the Appetizer menu, and I made it my meal. It was plentiful and good. For my first time here I was pleased. I will be back. Give them a try. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Honestly this wasn’t bad. The food was delicious and served quick. My wife got the Grilled Ruby Trout and I got the 5 Cheese Macaroni and Chicken. Both were good but perhaps a bit overpriced for the portion size. Still it tasted good. Our server was nice and chatty and we had a good meal. What lost a star for me was the smaller portion size. Even if they had a side or two, that would have made up for it. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was mostly empty; so we didn’t feel the need to rush. Overall good. Give it a try if you’re not too hungry but want some good food.

First time eating at JA's... I was expecting more from reading reviews before my visit. Had the chorizo stuffed pork medallions with cream sauce, red mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. The food was mehhh. Bland and underwhelming. The 3 medallions were small, which is fine, but give me more veggies to fill out the plate presentation... they are cheap enough to put a few more pieces of squash and a little more mashed potatoes. Service pretty good, not memorable. Atmosphere okay, but echoes making it a bit loud.

We had an initially eager waiter that took our order, but never came back to refill drinks or check on us. Two crackers and a teaspoon of pimento cheese for a starter was a bit insulting, and not sure why that's even given. The food was hot and fresh but bland; not sure if that's from lack of salt or what, but we were overall unimpressed with flavor profiles.

This place has unbelievably fantastic service! Our waitress was top-notch!!! I wish I got her name!! The food was good.. we had the following Slow-Braised Beef Barbacoa Enchiladas, 5 Cheese Macaroni and Chicken, 13 Spiced Chicken Pasta, House-Made Pimiento Cheese and the Carl & Deanna Miller’s Layered Chunky Queso. The enchiladas meat was really well seasoned, pimento cheese and queso was soooo flavorful. The 13 spice pasta was perfectly executed. However, the big chunks of jalapeño were weird. The disappointment of the night was the 5 cheese macaroni dish.. the chicken was great, but the pasta was super dry & we felt jipped with this dish cause there was NO cheese!!!! A 5 cheese macaroni, and there was a tiny bit of bechamel sauce. It was not good at all. The highlight was the blonde brownie with the candle. This was decadent and full of ooey goodness!

It has almost 4.6 average rating on over 5000 reviews. The environment is good but the food is ok I had the shrimp enchiladas which was quite salty, I think overall it’s overrated for 4.6. The servers are very friendly though.

Delicious brunch options, awesome fresh squeezed OJ (rare around here) and great service. Have to update my review, the portion of fresh squeezed OJ was dramatically reduced and potentially watered down, all the while still charging $4 for it is ridiculous. Going from 5 to 3 stars for that alone.

Slow service. It was not busy. Our drinks took over 5 minutes for just our water. Appetizer was great and food was great. Server didnt check back with us. Maybe too busy.

None of our table was satisfied with our food. Two of my friends were served burnt chicken. My burger which I requested medium well, was still raw on the inside. I am currently undergoing chemotherapy and visited this restaurant for dinner immediately after an appointment with my oncologist. I have a documented dog allergy and informed staff of my medical concerns when a service animal was seated nearby. I respect the rights of individuals with service animals; however, businesses are also responsible for making reasonable accommodations when multiple medical conditions are involved. Although I was moved, the accommodation was insufficient. I began coughing severely and was unable to enjoy my meal. For someone undergoing chemotherapy, allergic reactions and prolonged coughing can cause breathing difficulty, fatigue, inflammation, and additional strain on a compromised immune system. After paying, I spoke with the manager and explained that I am a cancer patient experiencing a medical reaction. She stated there was “nothing she could do” and showed little concern or empathy. When I said I would not return, her response was simply, “That is your choice.” This was not about a service animal — it was about how a serious medical concern was handled. Because of this experience, I will not dine at this restaurant or any of its locations again.

I've always enjoyed coming to this specific Jack Allens location, which is why this experience was so disappointing. We were seated at a hightop table right behind the bar, directly behind the host stand where three hostesses were working -- two males and one female. From the moment we sat down, the female hostess was incredibly kind and helpful. She greeted us and made sure we were comfortable at our table. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill because of one of the male hosts (the one wearing glasses). While we were trying to enjoy our dinner, he began loudly making very inappropriate and disturbing comments. His language and the topics he was discussing were completely unprofessional, especially considering guests were seated right behind him, us included, and it was uncomfortable and distracting. The young lady host repeatedly told him to watch his mouth and reminded him that there were guests sitting behind him. Instead of apologizing or lowering his voice, he responded with, "Oh, it doesn't matter," and continued using inappropriate language. The girl hostess visibly got embarrassed and kept asking him to stop, but he ignored her and continued. This is not the level of professionalism I've come to expect from this restaurant, which is why it was so surprising. This specific host's behavior was disrespectful not only to guests but also to his coworkers who were clearly trying to maintain a professional environment. I truly hope management addresses this issue. One employee's behavior shouldn't reflect poorly on an otherwise great establishment.

Waited 20 minutes after being seated to order. Forgot food we ordered and made our food incorrectly. Manager is extremely distasteful, waste of conversation. Waitress has the WORST table side manner. You don’t demand a tip in your statement leaving the table. Used to love this place, I would’ve rather eaten glass shards.
