This place is just beautiful inside and out! Service was outstanding and the food was exceptional. Incredible flavors, fresh veggies, and portion sizes that were just right! The sausage appetizer was so tasty! Each sausage had a different flavor and mixed well with the fermentation and mustards. The Philly sandwich was so tasty and the quinoa salad with chicken was a perfect summer dish! Dessert was the blueberry bread pudding and it was fantastic, warm and so sweet!

In town for a gymnastics meet. My wife and I were here 10 years ago or so maybe more. We have remembered the beer cheese that long. We crushed the pretzel and beer cheese and also got the focaccia bread with marinara. Absolutely amazing! My daughter enjoyed the kids burger, my wife the chicken bacon sandwich and I have the special, a incredible tri tip dip. Everything was delicious, the whole building including the gift shop is so clean. The restrooms are clean. They're remodeling the outside area so I'm excited to see that. Mandy our server was on point, drinks always full, smile, friendly we will always come here. Best service and food combo of anywhere I have been in months! Our glasses were never empty. Our server Mandy was so polite and kind. We all LOVED our food but the service took it to another level. We bought gear at the gift shop, crushed drinks appetizers and lunch. Our visit started off a little rough with the hostess, who wasn’t very welcoming or helpful, which was disappointing. However, once we were seated, everything completely turned around. Our server, Rochelle, was absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. She went above and beyond and made sure leadership was aware of our concerns, which showed they truly take feedback seriously and value their guests. The food was incredible and the service was exceptional — fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we hoped for. Even with the rocky start, the way the team handled everything made this a great experience. We’ll definitely be back and would absolutely recommend dining here.

This is a shout out to the kitchen. Most may come here for the beer but the food is legitimate. This was the best burger I've ever had and the garlic fries had real minced garlic. The surroundings were clean and iconic for a taproom with clean copper. You won't eant to miss this experience.

One of the greatest breweries of all time. They are in my top 10 for sure. I love every beer they put out, especially the seasonal craft beers they come up with. My go to’s are hazy ipas, big little, double torpedo and narwhal stout!! Great origin story and example that the American dream is alive. The taproom: I saw blue Egyptian and black pine revival there recently and was shocked at how good the food was. My stepson his dad and I all went together there for the first time and the sound was amazing we all danced for hours like a bunch of hippies dripping in beer sweat. The bar had no line and was affordable. The atmosphere was divine, the craftsmanship of seats , stage and overall design of the place was remarkably inspiring and clean.

I and my wife and three kids are here tonight, and we absolutely loved our food! We had the salmon, jalapeño pepper burger, the pretzel with beer cheese, the sausage appetizer, and the kids grilled cheese with tomato soup. It’s been ages since we’ve had such amazing flavors at a restaurant, even before COVID. The menu and the kitchen are incredible! We can’t believe how much we enjoyed the food! Our server Courtney was wonderful and seriously knows what good service is about. 10 out of 10!

Went for a show in the Big room. It's a great little venue. Beer , wine and food available before and during the show. Restaurant was amazing. The dark wood and copper decor is great.

Great place for a quick meal. The beer here is on point and quite yummy. Came back again today, 12/23. Had the Cajun Gumbo, WOW!! Amazing. The other 3 had excellent food as well. Mine was the only one I took a picture of. Love the good, atmosphere here, super friendly staff. We will be back.

I haven't been here since before the remodel, but the new setup looks great. It's got a very open design. The service was top-notch and the food was amazing. I got the Spicy Pep Pep pizza and it was a masterpiece. I'll definitely be ordering again. And of course they have a thousand beers to choose from. It's a good place to meet with friends, but be warned that it gets quite loud, so y'all may need to shout a little in order to hear each other.

A well situated, iconic brewery that is very much an important landmark, tourist stop, and employer for Chico, CA. Food was very good. Service was excellent, Everything exceeded expectations.The beer selection was surprising large. I can highly recommend the malty "Reign Czech" beer which is seasonal. I also appreciated employees relating that they love their jobs and they are treated very well by the employer. Pride and care is noted in the facility, with a large upstairs for events, plenty of parking, gift shop and available brewery tours.

Great food and service. Beautiful brewery! I had the fish tacos and my partner had the fried chicken sandwich. Both were great. Patio is dog friendly. Highly recommend getting a flight of beers if you want to try a few.

Went in at 5pm on Monday. Was seated right away. Lots of kids in the restaurant which i felt good about bringing my 2 years old. Everything we ordered was great. Our Server was fantastic.

I've seen a lot changes happen throughout the years at Sierra Nevada and after having dinner there yesterday, I can say I'll be going back soon! Everything (except the fries) was perfectly cooked and has such good flavor. We ordered the fish & chips with a Caesar salad and the Rooster sando with garlic fries. Then we ordered the Spring Pavlova for dessert. It was so good that we finished the whole thing. It's seasonal, so get it while you can.

I'm personally not a beer drinker, but my husband liked it. Able to sample as well as order flights. The restaurant was very nice, our service was good, the food was very good except they forgot the feta on my house salad. No biggie, ate it anyway and they charged us less for the salad. Great atmosphere and Service, but just overpriced for basic food. I had the jalapeño popper burger, which was basically your meat pattie with jalapeños in the melted cheese with a little sauce, nothing gourmet or special about it. They brought it out on a big white plate. It looked kind of funny, one small, to medium sized burger on a huge white plate Nothing else! I know it’s the times we live in, but it just seems outlandish that eight people have to pay over $250 for eight burgers with a couple fries 2 small beers, a glass of wine and the rest waters. With tip over $300.

After having a great dinner with great service in the bar, we walked over to the gift shop to see what 0.0% water they had, to be reprimanded very rudely that we could not drink our 0.0% water in a can that we purchased from the gift store. I asked if we could sit down to enjoy our 0.0% water, as other patrons were drinking actual alcoholic beer while sitting down, this guy with glasses and light colored hair said we cannot. What?? This has zero alcohol at all- whatsoever- it’s flavored water at most. We visited October 4, 2025 at 4pm. I’m very sad to have to write this review. We drove 2-3 hours one way just to come out for a day trip. Also my family has been here consistently throughout the year and this is just not what it we experience after coming for so many years. Thanks for ruining the entire experience. Please coach your staff on the way they approach customers. It was this young man’s approach that ruined the entire experience.
