A very nice venue with a splendid outdoor terrace overlooking Piazza Cavour. The aperitif is truly delicious and features quality single portions that show the attention to detail and customer service. The excellent wine selection and the extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff are noteworthy.

I went there for an aperitif. The focaccia, chiacchiere, mini burgers, and many other small dishes were really good and well-made. Compliments. If I may criticize them, the gin and tonics at €12 seem a bit pricey, so I opted for and enjoyed an excellent Brooklyn IPA.

Very nice place, with an outdoor seating area in a beautiful square. High-quality food, unacceptable wait times. With 5-6 tables occupied and no one inside, we waited 45 minutes for a burger and avocado toast. This problem isn't attributable to the two super-kind and efficient ladies working there, but rather to those who choose to keep a place open on Sundays without investing in the necessary staff. It's a shame that the excellent potential hasn't been exploited.

Disappointing experience. Ordered the tartare with asparagus..it arrived with a few slices of zucchini. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she was blase about it..saying menu must have changed,shrugged her shoulders and done. Menu is electric..so this no excuse, esp as price no longer matched what was delivered. My husband had a steak..it was sinuous and chips limp! Service was slow and waitress inexperienced and uninterested.

Seeing the beautiful place from the outside in the city center, we decided to stop here for an aperitif... First of all there was no menu available to choose from. The waiter was not well prepared on answering our requests, and he didn't give us any suggestion on specials or recommendations (especially because they didn't have a menu to offer) After the drinks arrived, we waited 20 minutes for the aperitif tray, but there was not shrewdness on providing us olives or chips while waiting. Grissini were old and, of course, chewy (and maybe not homemade) The prawns were still dirty of the black line in the inside. That kind of pizza dough was raw and not leavened. I hope there might be an improvement, especially for the price you pay.

Last night, after an aperitif, my two friends and I wanted to sit at the tables of "Café Cavour" (as the neon sign above the entrance says) to enjoy the beautiful pedestrian square. So we sat down, and shortly thereafter the waitress arrived. I should point out that all the tables were occupied, but there were no people standing around waiting to be seated. One of us ordered a coffee, and the waitress immediately told her she needed to check if the cafe was still open. I also wanted a coffee, but to avoid a potential problem, I asked for a small bottle of sparkling water. My other friend ordered a small bottle of still. A few seconds later, a waiter arrives and, with little courtesy and a great deal of rudeness, asks us to leave our tables and ask for coffee and water inside, because the tables are "only for drinking." I don't think this is even legal, but I'm not a lawyer, so I don't know. I know for sure that I will never set foot in a place called a "café" again, but where you can't order "café."

Unfortunately, we couldn't sit because the table they offered us was next to a table with two smokers (both with lit cigarettes). We reported the problem to the waitress (and, by the way, with a 6-year-old child, she should have noticed). She had no other tables, so she preferred to let us leave rather than ask the smokers to put out or go smoke away from the tables (as is required by law and is, in fact, done in other establishments).
