Mmm, I don't know how to put it. Let's just say it's a good attempt. The flavors are lacking, and the empanada especially loses a lot when heated in the microwave. The best part is the chimichurri sauce.

The food is delicious, but sometimes I have to wait to pay by card because they don't have the terminal the employees can use, or we can't make a transfer, plus they charge a terminal fee. Sometimes the products don't have prices listed, and we have to wait for them to scan the counter to ask. They should have prices listed or a catalog so the employees don't struggle and we don't have to wait. And the door makes a terrible noise when it opens. They should fix it. Also, the ham empanadas aren't made the same way anymore. Many years ago, they made them like the ones in the picture, and they tasted great, but now they're very plain. The waitresses are very friendly.

I understand it's hard to get the Argentine flavor of empanadas. But the meat ones even had beans 😞 I was disappointed, hoping to experience the Argentine flavor again... it didn't happen. Also worth mentioning: the girl who served us was very rude. When I asked if that was chimi, she made a noise. "Yes, no, she couldn't say." I recommend making them with osso buco and without beans. Thanks. 😀

At the Rio Grande location, I asked a friend who was passing by (she knows nothing about yerba mate) to buy Rosamonte yerba mate for me. My friend had stopped by before the store opened and sent me a picture showing that no one was there yet. I told her to please wait because it would be a few minutes. The person in charge arrived and asked for Rosamonte, to which she was told they didn't have any. The person then started showing her the different brands they did have, trying to force a sale by claiming they were premium. My friend sent me a picture saying that's all they had, and I told her they had it on the counter downstairs. She told the person in charge, but they replied that they couldn't sell it to her… Not only do they sell it for much more than other places in Juarez, but they also try to take advantage of their customers…

Horrible empanadas for the following reasons: 1. They didn't ask me and gave them to me in a box like a pizza box, and when I opened it at my car, they were fried and cold, and I only walked a couple of minutes from the store to the car... they should warn customers that they're fried because I like them baked.... 2. I bought 6 empanadas and they only gave me a MINI container of sauce. I asked for another one and they told me it would cost extra. 3. They were super greasy and the crimping was very poorly done. 4. Very little filling. 5. The humita (corn) filling was TERRIBLE. 6. They don't accept card payments, only bank transfers, and I didn't have my phone with me at the time.... I apologize for the negative review, but that's how badly I was treated a week ago.
