Bop a long BINGO on a Saturday 1pm is brilliant. Atmosphere is good with everyone singing along to the music. Including meal deals. Afternoon worth spending there and "WE won" Yeeeeeee

Really don't know where to start. What an absolutely fantastic place, populated by the some of the friendliest most welcoming people it has been our good fortune to meet on our travels. We took part in 2 of the bowling section fun activities (Tuesday and Saturday), sampled the Carvery and watched the Line dancing (we didn't join in because they were really good and we would have turned it into a traffic jam) and met a really extraordinary woman who was born in the mining village where we now live. We have already booked our holidays for next year so that we can return, So if you're heading out that way, get in touch with them and pay a visit, I really couldn't recommend it highly enough. And as for the Terrible review regarding not being allowed to play without "Whites" I have no idea what that policy means but we were in shorts and Polos that were definitely not white

We had a brilliant evening at the club, listening to the Eagles Tribute Band, who are excellant. Great atmosphere, excellent service and the place to go for live entertainment.

I have been several times to the Club. The Sunday carvery has to be the best in the area. Excellent value and always made welcome. Highly recommended.

We recently attended a Show Night with food. First time since new ownership and we were pleasantly surprised. Our table was nicely set up & reserved for us. When we saw the size of the sirloin steaks being served we were not expecting the quality to be of such high standard. They were like cutting butter & very succulent. The whole meal was excellent & the salad dressing delish 😋. The service was great too with attentive staff. Well done guys. We will be back.

Sunday lunch, it was a feast ! Had more roast beef on my plate than in some steak houses and it came with a great choice of veg and served by pleasant staff. My £ rating included drinks, it was great value!

A good place to enjoy a brilliant carvery The meat cooked to perfection and a good selection of vegetables yorkshire pudding and stuffing balls. The seating etc is quite basic They also have live music regularly with tribute turns. Good wheelchair access. A bit short of parking space out side the entrance but more can be found behind the venue and on street parking

Food was excellent, staff fast, efficient and friendly. Quite a wait for dessert but otherwise excellent. 4* for atmosphere because it was so noisy. Needs something on the walls (pics, material etc.) to soak up some of the sound but it won't stop us returning.

The Tuesday afternoon roast is very good value at 6 euros including a glass of vino.

Not the easiest to find the car parking is poor. As a location it's spartan but clean and tidy good value for money the entertainment was excellent.

Great place to have a coffee, a beer, learn line dancing, have a bowls game, dance away to live entertainment or just relax in the large bar area or out in the sunshine on one of the terraces overlooking the green. The staff here are all very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is made lovely by the clientele.

Invited for a quiz in the afternoon, but the venue was double booked, and they had a German choir in the dining area. The meal I ordered was nicely presented and nicely priced. I was eating as a crowd came in. One man scraping chairs across the floor. There is no doubt getting ready for the choir. He moved all the tables except mine. I looked disgusted at them while I ate. I asked if they wanted me to move but was given such an abrupt reply by a German lady. I excused myself and asked that I had finished my dinner. I have to say I was pleased when the waitress told them I was eating and that I would feel intimidated. I continued to eat, and as I finished, I lingered a while to finish my drink. I went to the quiz next door. Must say the quizmaster was very resilient. Going from table to table repeating the questions because of the choir next door. As an aside, I was most impressed to hear the barman insist the German choir form an orderly queue in order to get served. Funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Must admit I enjoyed the singing, although as a musician myself, I did find that they have a limited repertoire. As for the venue, I hope they sort out the double booking fiasco for the future as it's a great little venue. Xxxxxx

Dinner and Phil Collins tribute act for 15 Euro. The service and staff were excellent. The food was equally excellent, the gamon steak was huge, it was delivered to the table quickly thus ensuring the food was hot (I hate lukewarm food). The entertainment was fantastic, all in all a great evening and would not hesitate to recommend the Club to anyone.

We went for a Sunday carvery, the food was good and tasty, although not outstanding, yet still a good meal and for the price of 3 coarses with half bottle of wine I understand why you need book in advance, as the food was good the beef wasn't dry and the starters were tasty although the pate could had been served with more bread and unfortunately our dessert of a meringue didn't have ANY meringue within it at all and was more a thick sweet whipped cream. Nothing the sort of a meringue. The Club also provided live singer for entertainment of the "buddy Holly" era. Unfortunately I found the venue was lacking much atmosphere, and the music loud and echoing made it difficult to hear convocation at the table, also left us in the feeling of eating in a food hall or canteen. Other than that, the food for price good and the service was friendly and without delay so no complaints for service.

The food was OK, not great. The staff were very pleasant. They need to sort out their AirCon. It was far too hot and the Aircon didn't make any difference. We had to go and sit outside for most of the evening as it was cooler there. So we missed the act (Blues Brothers) which we had paid to see.

Food was just ok. Starter looked like it was thrown together. Main was ok. Dessert was just visible to sight. Staff were cold and we're not helpful. The meal was overpriced for what you had. Would I go again, No.

They don't take credit cards.......waited an hour for food that was pre ordered whilst serving other tables, steak ok and the night I went there was a line dancing teacher in and so promoting her class with line dancing to every song, the group and service were good

I have to eat here very often because I am a member of a club which dines here. As far as I'm concerned it's very hit and miss. The food reminds me of school dinners, back in the 1960's. The staff and owners are good, I hope they kind of grow into it.

Went for Sunday Lunch with friends. Carvery had been out for some time and food was not hot Regrettably choices were limited.

Popped into here as I was passing with my husband just for a drink. Placed the order and went to pay to be told it was cash only. There should be signs up advising people that you are cash only. Returned with cash and drank our drinks, but they were flat and warm which is not what you want on a nice sunny day. Didn't stay long and didn't try any food.

It is messy there. Service is very bad. We had reserved and booked a room twice. When we arrived on Tuesday, the room had been given to others. A lady said: I am the boss. She was very rude. We will never go there again.
