Loved the meatball subs! Brandy, Clay April, Jason, Alex and Cameron used to set the environment in Subway I loved frequenting the restaurant. The environment has shifted and updated. Love the staff and clean wholesome environment .
Great place to eat. It's now under new ownership. The old staff was pretty cool & friendly, don't know much about this staff or whether I'll find another location. Just have to wait & see I guess..
Definitely one of the best Subway restaurants I've ever been to, if not THE best! They're always friendly and fast, the bread and cookies are always fresh, the bathroom and lobby are always clean, and the best part is they don't make you feel greedy if you ask for a couple of extra tomatoes, like the one does on Edward's Lake Road...lol. I actually drove out of my way today to come to this specific location because the food and the service are SO much better than any another Subway location near Trussville. Thank you, Subway in Clay for providing an outstanding experience!!! 💜
Wonderful experience every time! The young man behind the counter, Tommy, did such an amazing job! He was very courteous and made an amazing sandwich! He really is a sandwich artist! Amazing service, very clean, great food! Good all around!

Definitely one of the best Subway restaurants I've ever been to, if not THE best! I love this Subway. I go here a lot. The last time I went, I was very disappointed. There was a new guy, I had my coupon for a foot long, he told me I could only use on two sandwiches from the menu, number 10 and 11. I never had that happen before. It didn't say that on the coupon. So I didn't get anything.

Some of the new workers are nice but It’s one guy who works there with glasses. Every time I come there he has crumbs all over his mouth. It’s kind of disgusting and his shirt is dirty sometimes. I wouldn’t prefer him fix food here
I had a bad experience with this location and the owner did reach out to me and he made every attempt to rectify it and for that I am grateful..... BUT the staff is beyond rude. When you walk in they just stare, no greeting, or acknowledgement whatsoever. The amount of rudeness they display make the visit uncomfortable and unpleasant. I gave this location one chance to many because let's face it, we've all had a bad day in life but when you go to a place and get horrible service on several different occasions it's time to take your business elsewhere. I really hate that the kindness and customer appreciation displayed to me by the owner is not mimicked by the staff. What a shame!

Refused to let us use a coupon if we ordered from the menu and told us we couldn’t “build ur own sub” because it was similar to one on the menu even with all our modifications.

I don't know what's the deal with this particular location but everytime I make a mobile order I go in to ask for light meat, before they start working on my order , because it's no place to put it on the mobile order. When I do this they immediately catch an attitude. It's two people in there that catch an attitude , Jace and another lady that wears a ponytail. The lady with the ponytail wasn't present today but she was on Jan 30th during the last incident. Everyone else is fine with it. I mean it's not like I'm asking to add extra. I'm only asking for them not to put all that meat on my sandwhich which I'm not going to eat. One would think that would be saving them money. Well today I ordered and it the same as always. The guy Jace caught an attitude and got loud with me. The customer next to me noticed it and we exchanged looks so I know it wasn't a me thing. I was very polite when I came in as always and never ever have an attitude so I'm not understanding why for the last two times I have visited they catch one with me. I asked for the manager's contact info and they said they can't give that info out but they can take down my info instead. I hope this message gets to the manager and he reviews his cameras with audio from todays date and also Jan 30th . When something similar happened that day I thought that maybe it was just a rough day for them but this seems to be an on going problem so I had to address it.I was thinking after all of this Maybe the manager need to get involved and know why he may be losing business do to the attitudes.

I ordered an All American club through Subway's website. First, the App would not take advertised promo codes. Something to do with this location. Second, I could not use earned rewards points for lesser the value of my points without loosing points. The real issue is I didn't get the meal I ordered. Ticket on the bag, with my name is correct, but what is in the bag is totally different. I called the restaurant. They are not willing to refund the purchase. They wanted me to waste my gas and time to drive back to the store. And there is nowhere on the website to give feed back.
BEWARE! Check your receipt after every visit. Was charged a $2.67 tip. Asked cashier who speaks NO English why was I charged a tip. He couldn’t explain. Just imagine how much money they make off tips from people who are not paying attention. Will never visit this location again.
Young boy in there was rude and not customer friendly I will never visit this subway again ever … he acts like he owns the place and was rude with everything he said this place used to be the best subway around and it has just gone down hill now I had to just leave I was tired of being disrespected over a sandwich. The new owner needs to get the management under control. Very rude kid in there when I last went and I decided to walk out before he began to even make the sandwhich
The bread was extremely hard and stale. I immediately went back to exchange my meal and the employee got upset with me. Stated they couldn’t do refunds but can remake my meal. I declined and left without food.
On August 28, 2024, I placed a mobile order through the Subway app at 1:00 PM, totaling $54.53. At 1:23 PM, the order was marked as delivered, yet I received nothing. I immediately contacted DoorDash, who confirmed that my order was indeed not delivered. They reached out to the Subway location on Deerfoot Parkway to arrange a reorder and redelivery, but shockingly, the location refused to fulfill the request.
My order was wrong, got a salad it had 0 lettuce, small handful spinach. No topping that I asked for. My husband's sandwich was over sauced all he could taste was sauce. Food was not editable! (Order placed Sunday 6th, 23 3:30pm)
I hate we only have four restaurants on this side of Deerfoot. The customer service at this location sucks. The cashier (name unknown) is a racist. His attitude was nasty the entire time we were in the restaurant. I’m a social worker so sometimes I give people benefit of the doubt and assume you’re having a bad day. Until you put my receipt on the counter instead of in my hand. I held my hand over the cash register to make sure you place my money in the hand. You did but tried so hard not to touch me. I asked if this was my food in the extra large bag (I ordered one six inch sub) and you pushed the bag towards me never saying one word. I grab my sandwich out the bag and walked out of this establishment…and I will not return. And I’ll make sure to tell everyone I come in contact with not to. If you don’t want to serve black people in a community I don’t know where you need to work. But not here cause it’s very diverse. I’ll be calling to speak with the store manager as well.
