Long John Silver's

The food was amazing, I love Long John silver's! The vibe was a bit weird through no fault of the employees. All of the other customers were couples who were absolutely silent during the entire time I was there ordering and then dining. Nobody was rude or mean, but it was just odd to not hear anybody say a single word the whole time I was in the restaurant. Everybody was just minding their own business.

Changing my rating to one star. The food wasnt fresh the peices of chicken were small barley any fries soggy crumbs and hush puppies were dry and even my Dr pepper just tasted blan and they even got my order wrong and the employe wasn't much better. I won't spend my money there again

The Root Beer Cream Freeze tastes like the perfect, blended final sip of a traditional float, but you get that perfect part the whole time.

The service can be said that the person I encountered behind the counter had an I am busy you'll have to wait attitude. So, I stood there waiting for her. Once you order your meal it's delicious. Long John Silvers has the same great tasting food. However in today's Newsom's economy, Long John Silvers is pricey. I will have to compare the price of Long John Silvers with other fish and chips restaurants. However, the atmosphere is safe and quiet. I would take my kids there as this restaurant is affiliated with A&W. Also, you can purchase A&W memorabilia there and receive a free paper pirate's hat for the kids. In other words the restaurant can be a fun place to dine, which replaces the one upset employee who didn't seem she wanted to be there. But that was just one employee and I can't blame the restaurant for one employee's attitude.

It's fast food fish, but I've always liked Long John Silvers. The fish was hot and very good. The fries were hot. The coleslaw slaw is pretty good. The big winner was the Root Beer Float. This particular Long Johns shares space with A&W.

I'm shocked by some of the complaints about customer service. I've visited this place three times in the past couple months...And the service was far better than I expected! Friendly, courteous speech, smiles....Eager to please....If I have had any need or concern they went out of their way to take care of us. The ONLY reason I'm writing this review is because how impressed I was with the people that work there! In and Out Burger usually has excellent customer service....And occasionally, Weinerschnitzel does a good job. But my experience at this LJS surpasses them all. As far as food goes, it's been very good. Fried foods generally have to be made fresh to get the biggest bang for your buck....So you may want to ask that they "make it fresh". This is probably necessary when it comes to the waffle fries - sometimes they aren't particularly as fresh as they could be. My advice: Try the fried Cod! A little expensive...But it's worth the price. In summary: The food, overall, has been very good...And the old-school customer service has been awesome. They've won my loyalty!

I was so craving this food I live clear across town and never am out in that neck of the woods so needless to say it did not disappoint. The cashier was so cool friendly and super helpful.

If people are coming into the restaurant to order and eat, then the air conditioner should be on when it's hot summer. I asked why the air wasn't on, and she said she got in trouble when she asked if they could turn it on. That's so wrong, and the employees should be able to work comfortable.

The food has always been good but customer service is a hit and miss. When Id like a bag or something to pack up my food I usually get a look and some huffing sound as if I'm inconveniencing them by having them do their job. It's weird because its usually different workers but they all seem to have the same careless attitude. Maybe we need the manager to do some training and hold employees accountable for not performing basic customer service. This last time in particular the manager was interviewing 3 prospects so hey, maybe the issue is being resolved. I'll have to update later.

The food was decent. The fish seems different, not like it used to. It might be the location due to it combined with a hamburger place.

Best fish tacos, I have ever had.

We come here about once a month. The food is good, the service is so-so. Our order came up quickly and was pretty tasty. The green beans were a bit on the soggy side.

If people are coming into the restaurant to order and eat, then the air conditioner should be on when it's hot summer. I asked why the air wasn't on, and she said she got in trouble when she asked if they could turn it on. That's so wrong, and the employees should be able to work comfortable.

I ordered the Papa Burger. It is more like a junior burger. It was small and could hardly tell that there were two hamburger patties. Very disappointed considering the meal cost $9.

I haven't been to a Long John Silver's restaurant in years. I was pleasantly surprised by this visit and how good everything was. I ordered the shrimp with fries, cole slaw and hush puppies. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was friendly. This place doubles as an A&W restaurant, and I've been here before and had a good experience with the hamburgers side, so trying the seafood side was my next goal. I'm glad I came back. I'll consider stopping here again when I'm in the area.

It was average, this one in Clovis serves very small portions. But it tastes the same as the one in Merced.

The food was good but the cashier had repeated my order back to me 3 times and I corrected him every time that I didn't want 2 #1's I just wanted 1 when I drove up to pay I handed him my card and he ran it then handed me back my card and the receipt and good thing I checked it because he still charged me for 2. Very frustrating to have to repeat yourself that many times and still try to charge you for it. I'm not sure if he was a new employee or what because I know how that can look but someone should have been there at that drive through with him because charging people now a days like that can lose business. Everything has pretty much doubled in prices and that alone has people really upset so yes don't try and charge more because word travels fast.

Kinda overpriced for a hamburger that's not better then s cheaper place

Came here to get A&W @ the 1/2&1/2 location on Shaw. A sack of burgers and a gallon of rootbeer sounded great. I haven't had a burger this bad in a long time. Too cheesy and salty. And my fries taste like fish. I didnt want fish. And at almost $5 a burger (basic burger) , I will not be buying a sack. I dont even think they do the gallons anymore. Sad sad. Miss the old A&W days. Now it's just ...fish. Please separate these locations.

I had not been to LGS in years. I was actually excited. I was surprised how bad the experience was. 20 min wait for food. I was 3 minutes away from ask for my money back. I should have, the food was terrible. Chicken was rubbish, I only had one bite. Didn’t eat the rest. I didn’t want to get sick. The waffle fries were cold. Tables were dirty. At 11am? How? Gross.

So greasy and extremely over priced. I took one bite and threw the food in the trash

Horrible !!! Drive through service sucks ! It took about 10 min to just take my order event though thee car in front of me was done ordering! Then they took over 10 min on her order !! Going into 30 min now I was still forced to wait single lane no turn out ! Spent my entire lunch break waiting in a drive thru. I'll stick with McDonald's less hassle more organized! Never ever again ! Save your time stay away totally not worth it .

Terrible customer service Waiting at counter for way too long. Male employee ( walks with limp ) Hispanic with mustache is in need of proper training. Appears as if he's a manager. Please improve this location. I crave LJS always. Had to walk away.

Can't say much about the food cuz I never got that far. After having to repeat my order three times at the drive up menu board I asked for clarification when I got to the window. What it wasn't what I ordered and I asked if I could change it the customer service representative at the window said she couldn't change it and to stop speaking disrespectfully to her because she wasn't the one who took my order. At that point I decided to pass on the fish tacos and go someplace willing to answer a question about an order they didn't understand at the drive-up.

I have visited this store since I was a kid. When it was just a LJS. Went this evening. They were closing up at 7:45. Doors open but seriously preclosing. Even removed sauce container at 7:50. Only offered packets. As a dine in, kinda a bummer. Total cost $44 for two meals a sm side of curds and clam strips.Then had to order a drink, was not included in meal. Add 3.87 for a drink. Nearly $50 for fast food, in this economy 😬 We work hard for our money. Fast food is now a luxury. Especially given the cost. Please make customers feel more welcome when spending that much for 2 meals.

I'm beyond dissaperaed, and I went inside to order. I don't think I'll go back for mushy fries, cold sift chicken and no cole slaw!

And we were NOT willing to U-turn. 2 shrimp were overcooked, heavily curled and rubbery. 1 shrimp was undercooked (batter was wet). The hush puppies were not properly prepped OR the heat was too high because the internals were gooey, not flaky. I get it. I now see why, as of today, there are only 485 of the original 1,500 left in the US. But put some polish into your franchise or you’re just going to be a distant memory that we will not reflect fondly upon.

Horrible!! Won’t be returning to this store again. Did a mobile order had the mobile receipt to show I had purchased 3 drinks the store receipt only printed out 1 drink. Very rude guy who helped. Wanted to start an argument, refused to give me the number to the franchisee and said the Gm wasn’t there used excuses to not give a refund. Said I’d have to call long John silvers they don’t do refunds. This guy should be fired or trained better what a horrible way to represent your restaurant
