The staff is swift, attentive, thoughtful..perfect stop, when you need .ore out of your meal than fast food..this is the food you've been craving!! I always get the Turkey Cranberry..Bikini.. It's my stop, above all others on the drive over the summit., Bay Area to Reno..and beyond, Don't pass Colfax with out stopping here!! Clean, awesome atmosphere, smiles, great energy, and thoughtful creations taor made to your needs. On the go? Need a break? They really listen! Or maybe they are the best at what they do.provide the most exceptional experience anywhere for miles and counties. Detail oriented..just amazing!! Don't even get me started on the quality of meats and artisanal creations!! This is an experience, not just an awesome, real Deli! Some may say it's pricey, I paid $7 and change for my sandwich, but these aren't just sandwiches, if you like quality, you pay that little extra. My grandfather and my father always said, "You get what you pay for", here, you get more than you bargained for." Over and above is priceless. Thank you for being always there for me!!

Talk about “southern hospitality”!! We tried the pulled pork sandwich and it was amazing. Big portions, and the service was amazing. The guy even offered to make my daughter a peanut butter and Jelly sandwich (not on the menu) We were just passing by, but glad we found this place.

I've been coming here for several years on my way back from Tahoe. My kids love it. My wife loves it. I love it. The atmosphere is chillax and fun. The owner is very gregarious and sincere. The food is amazing. This had been ranked #1 Beach Hut Deli for three straight years by Beach Hiut Corporate per the owner. It shows. A true family friendly environment where strangers can easily intermingle or keep it private if you prefer. Ask for the cherry wood smoked house made tri tip. I would recommend it on the Cali cheese steak.

Great stop for a quick bite or a sit down lunch. Sandwiches were amazing, packed to the brim with fresh ingredients, so delicious. Great beverage choice with some local beers available as well.

I ordered the California sandwich and it was a good sandwich. Very generous with the avocado! Yum! I asked for extra cheese and glad i did because the swiss cheese slices were very thin. I used to work in a deli so im kinda snobby and picky about sandwiches but I was stoked on my sandwich today. Thanks!

I almost always go with the Shark Bite if I am dining in, and they prepared it perfectly. Beach vibes between the music and open seating, serving cold beers, the bar top with the TVs showing sports - absolutely love the environment. All their sandwiches are awesome - if you haven’t tried it yet (and also LOVE cream cheese and avocado), go grab a sammie right now!

Ordered online, called them when we got there and they brought our order out to the car. Quick and Easy. A bit pricier but worth the price for the amount of meat the sandwiches have. Recommend.

Pretty good sandwiches, cool decor, but the seats were really small and I wouldn't exactly call the sandwiches gourmet. Definitely going to eat here again, super friendly people. I had a north shore and shark bite, and it was absolutely amazing!!!

That was a great $12 out the door pastrami sandwich; I know it’s California but it wasn’t a $17 out the door sandwich. People there were nice.

The sandwiches are so good here! The cream cheese really does add so much flavor.. who would have thought? The atmosphere lives up to its name, it's almost like you are in Hawaii! They have great music and friendly staff as well as quick service. I definitely recommend this place if you are tired of the ordinary sandwich shops, the meats are excellent!

Sandwich was wet and dripping everywhere. The size of place is smaller than my closet. I spilled half my sandwich on the floor because they use surf boards for tables and I was at the end of the table its not functional

The sandwich was loaded with lots of meat and ingredients, which is great. The staff was very friendly. But they're still pretty pricey for what they are. I wasn't a big fan of the white roll bread, a bit dry and minimal flavor.

The staff enjoys thier work and the good food is a result. Easy enough off i-80 east or west bound. Personally I treat this as a grab and go option, but it is definitely priced liked a sit down place. No sides for a $10 hot sammich is a head scratcher for this industry, but I'm full of good food so there is that. Parking is limited at this location, use the grocery store lot around back if needed.

Very nice workers and scenery, only thing is, my sandwich was very messy and inedible, also they put some kind of cream cheese that I didn’t ask for on my sandwich. Burnt my bread so my sandwich was disgusting in my opinion, one of my friends said he disliked his sandwich, and my other said it was alright, all of our stomachs ache a little bit after the sandwichs, nice place, but would not recommend eating here, maybe bring your own sandwich and your experience will be much better.

I didn’t stay and get food at this Beach Hut. I’m happy I went on to the Beach Hut in Penryn. One look at the two employees made me sure I didn’t want them making my food. They were not dressed to be making food. Rather looking like they came straight from the other job as a mechanic. Hair style to be ready to be leaning over food? Nope not that either.

The bathroom was really disgusting. My cooks had their hair out loose and long, and one had greasy hair. They did not wear gloves when touching my food. I hope I don’t get sick.

My Husband and I got to Beach Hut Deli in Colfax CA. and was so hungry. We had read about the sandwiches and already knew what we were going to order before we even got there but unfortunately when my Husband walked in at 7:30pm when it says online clear as day, they close at 8pm we were very disappointed when they said they were already closed, so disappointed my Husband says we are not coming back here ever again, so we went to Subway where we normally go and will continue to go. Subway is open until 10pm and as far as I know they dont close early. You would think when it says they close at 8pm, at 7:30pm they should still be making sandwiches, you are supposed to stop making sandwiches at 8pm and start closing after 8pm. Am I right or is this something new?
