Just a tourist here. People and building is great. First time I've had a whataburger in my life. It's big. It's tasty. Fries, Onion rings and burger is forgettable.. I'm gonna try a chicken sandwich next time. This place is great. Don't get me wrong on that.

Road trippers stop here!! I’m from Houston and this is one the best Whataburger I’ve had in a while. Taquito didn’t drip a single bit, if you know you know, they were a bit larger than average here too, and pretty sure the tortillas were slightly toasted. 10/10 food stop!! Restrooms are one rooms for men and women, but foods amazing.

I have to drive down I-10 this way every couple of years. Always random times, several years apart. But I always stop at this Whataburger, and it’s always stellar. Foods hot, correct, store is clean. Whoever is running this store is 10/10.

Came in with a big group of teenagers on Saturday during lunch. The staff was quick, helpful, and kind despite the influx of orders and people. Props! Keep up the good attitude, you guys were great!

Excellent place to engorge yourself until you explode!!.. oh man!!... for some reason, the burgers tasted better than in other whataburgers. Maybe they have a local provider? Even the coke tasted better (no, not that coke 😵‍💫). Anyway, I had a double meat with cheese with fries and a chocolate shake...mmmmm... so tasty.. come over and eat a lot, then don't eat all day. That way, you lose weight 🤪

We ordered 4 with cheese and 2 with no pickles. While I was there I noticed a new milkshake... Dr. Pepper. They said it was good and I really was. A big YUM all around. We will go back when in the area. Thanks to all the staff!

Our milkshake was half full, but great companies make it right! Because our shakes didn’t come full they gave us two large full milk shakes. No questions, no weird drama! That’s how you run a business! Burgers, fries, shakes! Love this place!

Absolutely an outstanding Whataburger. We visited TWICE in one week (once on the way to Galveston, and once on the way back). They were busy, but were SUPER efficient at taking orders and getting food cranked out to customers. Fries were perfect, all food excellent, nephews from Connecticut are now addicted to Whataburger. I believe John was the manager and he was hustling around the dining floor, making sure everyone was happy and taken care of as if I has the owner of a 5 star steak house. Seriously, excellent service, and this will become a regular stop for us in the future.

The overnight guy, Bill, is always super nice and awesome! Love going during the night. One time they gave me 1 chicken strip instead of 3, and when I went back and told Bill, he gave me a box of 4 to make up for it 😂 I only needed my 2 more, but he went extra. He's great ♥ I've very rarely had orders not right during the night. Daytime is still pretty good as well 👍

Had a great double-meat burger here. The patties were bigger than the bun! This Whataburger is convenient, just of the Interstate. And, the parking is vey accessible. Love Whataburger and so will you. Try it!

I've been going to this location for over 15 years now. It's an easy-off, easy-on location in regards to I-10. For me, the quality of food has ALWAYS been top-notch, as has the service. In thinking about it, I can't remember an occasion where they got my order wrong, or failed to provide it in a timely manner.

Religious bovine! This was the best Whataburger I've been to as far as service goes. I used the drive-thru which was very busy, however, the wait wasn't too bad. I stopped by for a quick bite on my road trip and boy was it worth it. I have terrible luck when ordering food as far as something always going wrong. My order was 100% correct, food was hot, and I was greeted with a smile. The chicken that I ordered (#14) required an extra wait due to an issue with their chicken supply but it still came out perfect. The fries were AMAZING. They were perfectly crisp and piping hot. I pulled over to eat in the parking lot, and when I was done I threw the trash away and tried to go in for the bathroom. The staff had the door locked as they were cleaning the restaurant. It is not a brand new location so it obviously wasn't the best looking Whataburger, however, the staff was the difference maker. They allowed us to use the restroom despite being closed for cleaning which was really nice of them. They also let a lady go in to purchase a drink without dining in. I really appreciated the whole staff doing what they could to make my experience enjoyable.

Food didn't seem as hot as it should be. The burger hot but didn't seem fresh. The fries you could tell has been sitting for a bit. Considering the line, I though they would have been fresher. Was on a road trip and was in the drive thru, so didn't have time to discuss with management. The taste was still good, just not the right temps.

We stopped here for lunch on a Monday around 1pm on our way from San Antonio to Houston. The men's bathroom was pretty dirty and mostly out of hand soap, which made me hope the employees had a separate hand washing station somewhere I couldn't see. They had run out of apple juice for the kids meal, which was a bummer, but not a heartbreaker. Food was good as usual, and service/people were friendly as always. We'll drop in again on our next trip.

The food and manager are great. I have two complaints there are always flies by the fountain machine and the keep putting teens in the drive through before they know how to work the register. I had to ask the girl at the register to put someone who knows how to use the register because she didn't know how to take put in no onions or lettuce on the register or how to sub sauces.

This Whataburger is always busy and all of them take a while in Drive through but it's very straight- you ask for the food you want, it gets made, you pay and go. The food quality is very fresh and good. My WB no. 1 was great, the fries were served hot, and my tea was fresh. Great job. I always stop here passing through to Austin and I'm never disappointed.

Not a bad Whataburger. As they go I would eat here again. Was a bit short staffed and the tables were not being cleaned off very quickly but it’s a fast food place, not a five star restaurant. Back again a month later. Took a few minutes to get my food but overall a good place for a carnivore lunch.

Good Whataburger food and service considering being slammed during lunch on a holiday weekend. The drive through can backup into the road and finding a place to park can be challenging. The crew does well to get all customers feed in a quick manner.

Not the most tastiest fast-food. Also, the restroom is not that clean. However, I do enjoy the customer service here, though the employee behaviour needs to improve to consider the emotions or expectations of the customers (at least through my knowledge of customer service and my experience as a public servant). :-D :-D

First time for us at a Whataburger. The restaurant was clean, clean restrooms and friendly staff. He ordered a double burger w/ fries, she ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. Everything was delivered to our table hot, timely and cooked properly. The fries are skinny we loved those but our sandwiches didn't make any statement to either us. We can say we've been there tried that!

The drive thru line was long, but it moved fast. The service was great, but the burgers were just so so. The cheese wasn't melted and the meat seemed cold even though we started eating them about two minutes after picking them up. We won't be back.

They would have been rated a one star, but management really took care of the issue. It was not very busy, but almost 20 minutes passed between the time that we placed our order and they dropped the chicken in the frier. Once we said something to management, they took over and got everything taken care of as quickly as possible. I didn’t ask for it, but they refunded our money.

Second time at a Whataburger. Burger was not as hot as I would normally like, but still good. Ice tasted funny in the soda, but that could be due to my East Coast pallet being unaccostomed to Texas water. I dumped it out and refilled without ice, and soda tasted fine.

Went through the drive thru on our way through town. I wound up not eating much of my sandwich which was made incorrectly and the burger patty was old and dried out, which really surprised me because every other Whataburger I've been to always has very hot and fresh patties. My fries were cold but husband shared his ( which were hot and fresh). I'd rate it overall okay as the employee at the window was fine and even though my husband said his food wasn't sitting well afterward, he was able to finish it. I will however choose another restaurant next time.

There was a big queue in the drive thru which made it slow and difficult to park. Once inside, there were a lot of people waiting. Everyone was pleasant so all OK. I am happy to wait for freshly prepared food but when it finally was delivered the presentation was poor and they didn't include the hot sauces that I requested. I really don't mind waiting for quality but waiting for "meh" is disappointing.

Surprised it's still open with those prices half them dnt know how to take a order ..u ask for a sausage cheese biscuit they charge you for a sausage cheese and egg then minus the egg but your still paying for the egg lol some know what to do and believe me there's a big difference in price..get it together

I have lived here 25 years and Whataburger has always been the cleanest and best overall experience in this town until recently. We were there last week and it was not clean. Had to step over squashed French fries on floor while 2 employees were sitting at a table on their phone. The manager sit at a table eating a hamburger. I ordered a hamburger, add cheese and dry and expressed I wanted the vegetables. The person taking the order did it right and receipt was right, but it came with no veggies! I let it go cause was in a hurry. Tonight we just got home with our drive through order. I ordered the burger, but instead of asking for dry I said cut the mayo, mustard and ketchup. The young man called out the order correctly and even ask if we were ok with the veggies and I said yes, we did want veggies. We got home with no veggies!!!! Evidently their needs to be training with the cooks as to what dry means OR plain and dry!!!

Went through drive through and got cold food, and was missing food and drinks for the kids. The grilled cheese was just two slices of cheese on bread not even heated. It was really bad. If you want good food I recommend a different place

Service was good but Whataburger is not the same as old. The taste of their burgers are different. It's not the taste I grew up loving. Since the chain was sold to that Chicago group, BDT, the quality of food has suffered. Not a fan anymore.

This is a very small location compared to plenty of other locations throughout Texas that I have visited. That is not the problem, the service is completely different to any other locations. Perhaps it was the time, the day... The number of teenagers getting out of a game, who knows! Long wait, wrong order, and no way to go back in line to give them a chance and make it right. They poor the mustard on my bread, and the next order was with mayo. That looked a little worse! I can't say that I will not go back. When traveling on I-10 I will have to make sure wait for the next location, about 20 minutes away.

Today is the 26th of April and hands down this is the worst experience I've ever had at this place. Ill probably never eat here again, and just met a customer named Russell and he pointed out that this location had been slowly going down the tube. I love to eat and when my my food comes out cold. I was libid, and I don't recommend eating here after 10 pm.

The worst Whataburger ever! We go to Whataburger pretty often, but this is by far the worst location. We went here for lunch and traffic was heavy, but that’s expected for a lunch crowd. We expected a wait, but not 45 minutes. At 35 minutes I politely asked if the manager could tell me how much longer by looking for our number. The manager then said, “do you see there is a wait.” I then said, “I understand there is a wait but we have been here for 35 minutes,” and she ignored me. I went and sat down and 5 minutes later she came and asked for the receipt. She took it back and 15 minutes later she came back with our food and said I’m not sure what happened to your order. She did not apologize or even try to make things right. I will never stop at the Columbus location again. I will take my business elsewhere.

I searched every empty table for a clean one. Guess they can’t clean them since they are so busy visiting. Visitors taking up counter space so we had to wait to place our order. Kid running around unsupervised, almost tripped me twice. Employees sitting at tables yelling at employees behind counter. Very loud, unprofessional!!! Finally got our order, the French fries are so cold and stale. No condiments what so ever!!! Still waiting on help for that. One customer just left, tired of waiting on sweet tea!!! A joke!!!

This location gets 1 star from me. We ordered a grill cheese kids meal and the bread was extremely saggy no crisp or crunch to it. All the grilled cheese sandwiches I've ever had had been very well toasted but not this place. Plus the fries were not fresh. I won't be going back to this location. I eww I'll say the girl at the drive through was very nice. That's the only good thing about this place.

Absolutely terrible. Pulled into drive thru on a Saturday at 2:00pm - didn’t get to window until 2:26pm. Complained and asked what the delay was for. Apparently they have had complaints for cold food and so they dont move cars out of the way that have large/delayed orders anymore. This held up the drive thru line for 30m for us. And of course, the food was still cold. We should have received an apology and a free meal but were greeted with pretty poor customer service. Worst Whataburger we’ve ever been too. Skip it.

I wish they could get the timing right. Waited 15 minutes for an online order because it was chicken strips, fine, it's whataburger. I swear though why give me cold fries with the order, its like you drop the fries in the bag asap, and they wait for as long as the order takes getting cold. For someone who has been on a fast, it's not the best feeling to get those fries expecting what you've had before and they are hard like twigs and cold.

It was a dirty, filthy atmosphere and I was glad I had clofox wipes to clean up the booth and seats so my family could sit down. We watched at least 10 vehicles go through the drive thru while we patiently waited. Finally, I went up to ask about our food of 5 meals. We were told they were prepping the burgers. Ten minutes later, we received cold burgers which were to be plain scrape off 5 toppings.My daughter was shorted fries. We will NEVER go to this location again

We have a big group ahead of us, so we do understand that wit will be a wait, but want I dont like is when it's our time to order the cashier is rushing us. Which turned out she did get all our order right when I looked on the screen. It all got mixed up. So I have to tell her again. Then since she is rushing she missed to punch the last order. Then I have to tell her again. As our orders came, they charge us for extra gravy but did not serve us the gravy then they say they are still cooking the gravy. We are done by the time they were able to give the gravy. We also asked for spicy catsup but the server says we should have asked for it when she serve our order... but we told her that and she says she will be back because she does not have the tray, which is fine with us but as she pass by our table she did not gave us the condiments so we ask her went she pass by again, then she gets mad.

Not quite as bad as the McDonald's we just went to before here, but a very close second. Saw dinein sandwiches lay for over two minutes on a tray, only to be shuffled over and sit for another 2-3 minutes with the fries sitting on them. Needless to say, I wasn't the only one mad about cold food. Is it this town? Is something wrong with the water?

So the Columbus location needs to be more friendlier. I visited this location several time for both breakfast and dinner. Each time I either said "good morning" or "hi, how are you" and got no response each time. It's almost as if being courteous is frowned upon. Yesterday's visit had to be the most disappointing. I ordered the 3 piece strip and I ordered/payed for an additional strip. The lady kindly repeated my order to me and had me pull to keep others from waiting. I pulled up and waited for a few extra minutes and I didn't mind cause I knew my food would be hot. I got back to my hotel room after working a 23 hour shift and my order wasn't complete. I was so tired that I didn't bother to call or go back because I just wanted to eat and go to sleep. In the future Whataburger if you are going to have people wait, please do your job and double check the food. Nothing more disappointing than finally getting ready to eat and your order is incorrect. Still my favorite go to burger spot 😊

Been a Whataburger fan for decades. Today was the worst visit to a Whataburger ever. After placing our order at the drive thru window, we waited 20mins for our food to arrive. (On our prior visit at this location, we also had an unusually long wait). Todays order was 3 burgers/fries. We drove 5 blocks/3 mins to a family members home. All 3 burgers were not even warm, we microwaved them. Even worse, all fries were severely undercooked. Only the potential loss of family time stopped us from returning and demanding a refund. Truly an awful experience and waste of money. After so many years as customers, wife says (and I agree) “we will never go back”.

I don’t know if a water pipe busted or what but there was greasy water all in the kitchen and dining room. They were pushing water out over my family’s feet as we walked in the only thing you could get to drink was tea which was completely out. My 2 year old slipped and fell even though I was holding her hand it was a giant mess.

Very poorly managed. One person at the register waited over 30 minutes for a hamburger and onion rings. Unruly customer was not handled properly by management. Food was not processed in the order they were taken. Other employees were not utilized to help with the backlog. I will never stop at this Whataburger again. Whataburger is not what it used to be when it was family owned!

We’ve never had a bad experience at whataburger until this one. It took over 20 minutes for our food to come out, while we were waiting, we noticed several dead flies sitting on the window sill. There were three on the ledge right next to us and plenty more all around the restaurant. The trash cans in both bathrooms were overflowing. There were a good amount of employees and no one was cleaning the empty tables. It was extremely dirty all around.

AWFUL keeep driving. I waited for 30 minutes for my food when I asked where it was because I had to leave since my lunch break was over they said they were out of pies and gave me my money back. Nobody told me they were out of pies, and how ddid that prevent you from preparing my burger and fries? I still wanted my burger but they didn’t make it and couldn’t deliver. Being a native Whataburger has been a food staple forever. Several years ago they decided to sell out and that is exactly what they did! They “cooked” the books by cutting food quantity and quality. Where once was one patty now it takes 3! So in a desperation move we went to the Columbus W yesterday. Crowed and chaotic would be an understatement!! Manager was horrible and just let everything get out of control! Plenty of employees, but not utilized properly. Wait time was in excess of 30 minutes. On top of all that we had to endure a crazy “black Karen” who wanted to beat up an elderly white woman! Where was the manager? Too many other choices and Whataburger will not be one of them. Horrible experience!

I don't understand why Whataburger is consistently disappointing these days. They have raised their prices, but their service and quality of food have declined. The wait time at the drive-through was a ridiculous 25 minutes. Let me tell you, the food was bad! The fries were undercooked, the burgers looked like they had been stepped on, and they forgot to put some food items in our bag. This location is just like most Whataburger locations I've visited; all have been bad. Now, I'm convinced they don't care.

I saw a server drop an entire tray of condiments, pick them up with her gloved hands, and continue serving. I wanted to take a photo but my daughter was embarrassed. The nastiest thing I see in service is when people think they are clean because of gloves. Don’t use the register and serve food with gloves, don’t wipe down tables with gloves, just don’t. The food was slow and anaemic. I’m a food handler test proctor- I can come teach food safety to your team if you need it.

I ordered curbside pick-up and sent my 2 girls to pick up the order (almost $60). They arrive, park in the designated space for curbside, and checked in via their app. They waited for THIRTY MINUTES and the order was still not brought to the car, so one of my daughters went inside and found our order sitting on the counter for who knows how long, because the food was COLD. The employee she talked to refused to have the order remade or refund the money. So they brought home cold food, soggy fries, and drinks that the ice had melted in. I had a burger with a huge blob of mayo instead of the mustard I asked for, two little sad tomatoes and very little lettuce. I submitted a complaint but have yet to hear from lousyburger. This particular restaurant is best avoided. If you're traveling, try the Whataburger in Schulenburg or Sealy. You'll have a much better experience.

I have tried this location several times on my trips to Houston and it has always been disappointing! I stopped by once again the other night just to get a burger. This location advertises one price on their drive-thru menu, and then they charge more once you get to the window after waiting forever in line! The difference in price may not bother a lot of people and they simply pay it and move on, but it is just the principle of being charged more than the advertised price that I find to be a deceptive way of treating customers. I asked for the manager, and I requested that she please honor the advertised price on their menu board. She was not only rude but refused to make the situation right whatsoever. She stated that she could not give me a discount, but I was not asking for a discount. I was merely asking to be charged the advertised price that I agreed to when I ordered the burger from their drive-thru menu. That is only fair, but she treated me like I was making up the price and being unreasonable. Despite being the manager, she has never bothered to walk outside and actually look at the drive-thru menu board to see the advertised prices for herself. I am not sure how someone like this gets to be a manager because she obviously has no customer service skills nor cares about keeping customers happy by doing business the honest and fair way. She would rather throw away a burger her staff took time to prepare and treat a customer poorly instead of honoring her mistake of not updating the restaurant menu to whatever expensive prices they are now charging people. Her horrible attitude and awful management skills has certainly lost me as a customer, and hopefully this review will let many others know that she definitely does not care about keeping customers happy and providing repeat business for the restaurant they are paying her to manage! Rather than waste your time and hard-earned money at this Whataburger location, try the new Popeye's next door and enjoy a fresh, hot, huge and delicious chicken sandwich for a much better value! I am glad I did!

After 40 years of trying, I must congratulate you on getting my order wrong once again (at any location)!!! Also Dine-in should be just as important as drive through!!!! Oh, and usual thanks for the cold, dry meat on my burger! What is a burger? It sure ain't what y'all are serving!

Having their employees outside taking orders, similar to Chick-fil-A was horrible. They had a separate line for those of us paying with cash and it took so much longer - the car in front of me left. When it was my turn, the employee that came out didn't know what my total was - I guess either I was supposed to know or just hand over any random amount.

I am still suffering greatly from food poisoning from the place. They have us half empty coffees that rank and did not put any creamer in it. Basically forgot everything we ordered. Problem lies with their sanitation practices. Do not touch their breakfast as i have never been so sick in my life. This branch needs to shut down for good. Going to follow up with additional complaints. It’s the only thing i ate all day and 8 hours later i am seeing an ER. Do not trust this place.

Worst Whataburger experience we've had. My chicken strips and fries tasted like they were made hours ago and left under the warmers, very stale and hard. My husband's sweet & spicy was made completely wrong - he said it was the worst one he's ever had. Overall completely disappointed.

I was in line to order and never got service because they prioritized the drive thru over walk in, all while the manager was in the dining area working on his computer! Tip here: asking your cashier to run food out to a car and instead of serving your guests is a way to cost your store business.

I’m only in this town for work and tonight was the second time I’ve been to this location in 2 weeks and both times standing at the online order pickup counter everybody working there straight up acts like I didn’t exist. Tonight after standing at the mobile order pickup counter for 10-20 minutes I waited in line just to tell the girl I had a mobile order simple salad and a drink so I get my salad from someone else finally, still waiting on my drink for another 10 minutes the girl at the counter standing there texting still acting like I’m not still standing there I ask is it going to be a while to get my drink and she just looks at me clueless even though it says it on the receipt that was taped to my bag and I also told the girl that bagged and handed me my salad that I also had a drink when she asked if that was everything then she just says oh ok and walks off to start wiping tables in the dining area. Worst Whataburger I’ve ever been to left without my food or drink so waste of money

Sooo slow 8 minutes waiting for her to take money at drive thru and then told waiting on hash browns…. How long …. Clock still running Maybe this is the new fast food… you get a chance to write your review as you wait….. 2 more minutes and still no coke…. What do you think will happen next. This was the worst Whataburger I have been to and I go quite often. All other locations have been wonderful except this one. At least 10 people standing around behind the counter and we had to wait for 5 minutes before someone would wait on us. The dining room was dirty with only 1 table with people at it and the employees still stood there. Food arrived and fries were very cold and mushy. Got those replaced and then looked at the patty melt. It was cold, cheese not even melted, almost no sauce, and not an onion to be seen. Did not want to wait for a new one since it took so long to get this one. The picture speaks for itself! Will never go back.
