My wife & I stopped in for a couple burgers! She got the teriyaki, I got the western! They were both amazing & on point!

We decided to try this place while visiting the area based on reviews and it did not disappoint. Food was fire! Please dont go based on the pictures on their menu, please read the ingredients, those pics don't do their burgers justice. Ingredients are all fresh quality, buns buttery soft and patties juicy and delicious. We tried the Western, the Hawaiian, and kids had the classic cheeseburgers, all 10/10. Their fries are golden crispy to perfection. Place is clean, and they offer outdoor seating, located across from a park with plenty of street parking.

The ladies at uncle Jay today were so sweet and welcoming! This little burger joint has a nice homey feel much like nations but with burgers and fries so uniquely their own that we will definitely be making this a regular food spot for us. If you want to try a Korean spin on American Diner classics this is THE spot! I got the Seoul Burger, he got the monster burger, and we shares the bulgoki fries. I usually am not a huge fan of hamburgers because they are so heavy in their savory taste but the sweet bbq sauce that they add to theirs perfectly balances that taste and makes it addicting to eat. Same with the fries! We definitely recommend coming and trying a plate here! We're going to try their hot dogs next time.

We moved here not too long ago and have been trying to find a go to burger spot, this is it. Good prices, good food, simple menu. They also know how to package a To Go order, open so no steam ruins your fries or bun.

It was a very enjoyable experience being my first time visiting this establishment. The staff were sure to provide me with knowledgeable references to the menu and offered me a cup of ice to keep cool on the hot day.

Absolutely amazing, the place was extremely clean. The workers were wearing gloves and even changed the gloves before making our food. They were so polite!! And the foood was perfect. Best burger I’ve had in a while!!!

This is, in my opinion, the best burger joint in Concord. I eat here all the time, the food is beautifully presented, the staff are lovely. I have never had a complaint.

Just got our order to go on a whim and this place did NOT disappoint. We moved to concord a year ago and are still finding "our" food spots and this one definitely made the list! I got the Fire Burger and it was ACTUALLY spicy! I usually will get some type of spicy burger from other spots and have to add my own hotsauce. My husband got the katsu burger and was deliciously delighted. Our toddler approved of the cheeseburger and we collectively loved the Bulgogi fries. Usually specialty fries are hit or miss BUT since these were delicious we are just as excited to try their regular fries next time!

I had one of my worst mornings and my buddy asked me where I'd like to lunch. I told hime just drive until the fuel runs out and he said no fam I just got a full tank and it'll takes us to Eureka then back. So he took me uncle Jay cuz I told him I've always wanted to try the Seoul burger with bulgoki. After the first bite it changed my life. The morning was behind the back of my head and I was temporarily drunk in the ocean of tender Korean beef slices. And boy, that fried 🥚, so kicks in with all the other ingredients you don't even care what they are no more! All blended sweetly wish life can be like that! Thank you uncle Jay; we luvyo!

I was looking for a good burger place and saw the great reviews. Let me tell you I was not disappointed! My husband got the mountain burger and I got the fire burger. They are totally loaded and so good! It’s hard to find burgers like this. It’s a little corner spot and just the kind of place we were looking for. Will definitely be back!!

I just had a religious experience while eating an Uncle Jay's Seoul Burger. It was piled high with perfectly cooked Bulgogi (Korean BBQ Beef), expertly seasoned and sauced, oozing with melted cheese topped off with a fried egg and plenty of lettuce on the softest bun I have ever had. It could not have been better except if maybe I was in a little picturesque Korean town. If you have never tried Bulgogi, do yourself a favor, and grab one of these sandwiches. You're welcome.

where to begin other than to say this place is easily one of the best burger joints in the area. their prices are very reasonable, and they have so much to offer. their burgers are super delicious plain, but their more complex/fancy burgers, like the Hawaiian burger are incredibly well executed. you will not regret eating here. while you can order face to face with one of the cooks, you do have the option to order from a kiosk, which is nice if you’re not feeling like talking. the interior is very clean. every time that i’ve been there, it’s never been dirty, and while they only have one bathroom, the bathroom is so clean. i cannot stress the cleanliness of the bathroom enough. Uncle Jay Burger House has it all. i’ve taken multiple people here (all of whom live far) and every time they go home, they frequently talk to me afterwards about how good this location is. i think if Uncle Jay Burger House had milkshakes or smoothies, that it would be a great menu item to have, but that’s just a suggestion. keep up the good work! :)

Very clean, the service is fast and the taste of their burgers is very good, plus their prices have gone down while maintaining the quality of the product.

Everything about this renovated interior of Uncle Jay's Burger House is spectacular! Everything was made perfectly and very well crafted and designed. The Bulgoki Fries are wonderful and very much worth the trip by themselves. Flavors balance nicely with the sauces and Bulgoki and perfectly cooked seasoned fries. The Fire Burger is also spectacular. I particularly was impressed with their choice of bun, seseme seed, toasted and tasty! The extra chees sause they give on the side makes every bite luxurious. Not that hot at all, in fact i could go a few more levels of hotness for my experienced palate of heat, but delicious nonetheless. The Fire Fire Hot Dog is beefy. It might have pork in it, not sure, but it tasted beefy and a good size that filled the bun properly. The guacamole was a homeowner! Smooth, tasty, full of Avocado taste and combined with the shredded cheddar cheese made each bite a delicious mouthful of the soft bun and guacamole with the snap of the hotdog and the meaty flavors combined for a wonderful mouth experience of texture and flavor. One of the best Hot dogs in Concord!! While I used the self serve kiosk to make my order the staff was was very pleasant ready with my drink right after ordering and delivered everything with a beautiful smile and warth. Watching them cook and prepare everything is also an upgrade to the dining experience anywhere to watch the food being made and handled gives an upgrade to the dining experience knowing you can see what's happening out in the open. The restaurant itself is very clean and comfortable and right next to the wonderful Todos Santos Park making it the perfect place for a nice walk, enjoying the festivities and grabbing a burger and/or hotdog. I'll definitely be coming back and recommend this renovated Uncle Jay's to anyone!! Great job!! 👍

I love this place and the people who make this delicious food! We've ordered two cheeseburgers (each costs 8.99$ with bacon (+1.5$). You pay 10.49$ for soft and lightly sweet buns, fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion. Every part is cut the same. The house sauce complements the meat harmoniously. I'm surprised there's also a breaded apple here. It's crunchy and appropriate. Garlic French Fries 5.49$ is incredibly tasty. I feel enough sesame here. Onion Rings 5.99$ is very well cooked. Breading coats each onion ring. It doesn't even look greasy. Each item is packaged thoughtfully and well for takeout. If you want to sit inside, here is lovely interior dynamic music, and clean. I was happy to find this delicious restaurant. Is 5-star and see you soon!

If you’re feeling tired of burgers & fries, come here and they’ll make you fall in love again! The Seoul Burger uses real beef instead of a typical burger patty and the cheese is stretchy! The garlic fries were so crunchy, delicious and flavorful! Sad to say I’ve seen this place too many times without coming in to try the food, I will be coming back & bringing friends next time! You really can’t get a burger like this anywhere else!

Been here at least a few times and have already mentioned to my family and friends about it! We ordered the Seoul Burger, regular burger, garlic fries, Bulgoki fries, and Vienna style hot dog. The sauce on the burgers and Bulgoki fries were AMAZING. Love their garlic fries..everything had flavor. I order takeout usually but every time I place an order to go; I see the owner helping in the kitchen, puts everything together for the customer, then also running orders as cashier. Once my order is ready, she handed me my order with the most since, “thank you for waiting, I’m sorry it took a bit!” And it wasn’t even that long of a wait! I can absolutely tell that from the way the food is prepared, that there is definitely love and nurture put into it and the owner really cares about the customer. She reminded me of my dearest grandma and I hope they know how much I appreciate their kindness. Keep it up!

Everything was cooked perfectly; the pork was nicely fried and still tender, and the fries were peak crispy despite the bulgogi and toppings. I saw the burgers being made while waiting for my wife's Togo order and they looked amazing. I will definitely go back to try burgers next time.

The burger was hot, freshly made & juicy. The fries all freshly done up, hot & salty. All packaged up nicely. Definitely recommend this place. Business is a little slow so go over & show them some love.

Went tonight and ordered the uncle burger, Seoul burger, and a side of their bulgogi fries…. All were so delicious! Burgers were juicy! My favorite would definitely have to be the bulgogi fries, fries stayed extra crispy under all the sauce and toppings. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely be returning!

We got the Seoul and the green burger. Both were delicious. The Seoul had a fried egg which is completely cooked, i was slightly hopping for a slightly running egg. However the green burger was amazing, neither one of us expected it to be good but it was extremely tasty, cant recommend it enough.

First time coming to this place. I can tell you that the burger I got was delicious, and I enjoyed every bite of it. But I do warn you, the burgers are pretty big.

What a great freaking burger we had from here. The most perfectly crispy onion rings and fries as well. The burger was juicy, the bread fresh and soft, the sauces were tasty and all together was like a dream. If you see this, this is your sign to order/go eat here.

Liked this place and the staff was really nice. I had the chili burger and it was OK but regret not getting a regular burger as those looked a lot better. Note, it wasn't the burger/patty itself it was the chili and cheese combo that was a bit bland. My kids standard burger was really good along with the fries being amazing. I will be back.

Price isn't cheap, but it's about what things cost these days. Portion size on the fries was a little lacking, but the fries themselves were decent, if nothing special. Would eat here again, would recommend!

The big issue was the Chili Burger though, the chili was pretty standard, but it said homemade, so I was hoping for more. The meat was OK, but I suspect it was frozen since their menu says they only cook burgers well done. My big issue was the serving container for the chili burger, it was in a small to go box basically, which isn't really enough space to cut the thing with. They also didn't offer a fork or knife initially, even though I ordered for in house dining. I did get them after asking, but still.

Cheeseburger, bun, all permeated with overriding, unfamiliar (to me) flavor. Maybe something pickled. Woman seemed unconcerned and made no offer to rectify.

Please say you have onions in your chili dogs. Not everyone enjoys onions as much as you do and they’re the second most powerful herb on the planet please let people know. They can ruin some peoples meal to the point it gos straight i the trash can

AVOID THIS PLACE! BAD FOOD AND INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES! Just visited this place after seeing the high reviews. Ordered a cheeseburger with cheddar instead of American, and their chili cheese fries. Sat down at a booth where the table probably hadn't been wiped down all day and quickly realized the wood bench seat was far too uncomfortable to remain for the duration of my meal. Switched to a small table that also had to be wiped down. Didn't take too long to get my food. First impression of the fries was that it had a terribly small amount of chili poured on top of the seasoned fries and an equally tiny portion of shredded Mexican style cheese sprinkled atop the chili. The first bite was far worse than the first impression, and I almost gagged at the detergent-like taste that overtook my taste buds. Completely shocked and surprised, I actually considered that something was wrong with my senses. So I tried the burger--which had a slightly smaller meat patty than expected--and though it didn't meet my high hopes and expectations, it still tasted like a burger, which, in turn, restored confidence in my incredible taste buds. Confidence restored, I again attempted a couple bites of the chili cheese fries, each bite more disgusting than the last. While normally I would just walk out of such a place and never return, the taste of this dish was so horrendous that I had to ask for a refund. However, nobody working behind the counter was trained or able to undertake such a glorious endeavor, to which they were forced to call up management by phone! And their solution? To write down my name, phone number, and credit card number ON THE BACK OF MY RECEIPT (yep, they were trying to steal the only proof that I had actually been there). To which I responded, "You've gotta be joking!" I said I'd be back when a manager was working onsite, which would have had me delayed quite a while since there is apparently never a manager onsite. To sum it up: cheap service and cheap food at cheap thrills yet all overpriced! Save yourself the trouble and skip this dump.

Ordered 2 burgers today, 5/24/24, medium-well, and both were RAW inside! Paid extra for bacon and did NOT get it. Parking was ridiculous. Just overall a horrible experience. Very unfortunate since so many other good reviews and they are not cheap. Even worse is no one was in there waiting for food or anything so they were not busy. Was expecting way better.
