I've lived here for 13 years first time trying it tonight. And wow! Absolutely delicious! Best Chinese food in Conway! The manager and his staff were so kind. The food was wonderful everything fresh. You definitely get your moneys worth. This is going to be my to go to place. Thank you for kind service definitely recommend and will be back!

I'm originally from New York, and I've been to plenty of Chinese places all over the country. When my wife and I moved to Conway, I was a little nervous that I wouldn't be able to find anything resembling good Chinese food in the area (especially after our Korean expedition didn't go the greatest). Did some research on Reddit, and Oriental Kitchen kept popping up as the best in the area. My wife and I ordered some, and I saw it was next to a gas station. We have an inside joke that if the restaurant is next to a gas station, you know it's going to be good. Sure enough, that mantra has not failed us yet. We got takeout, and when we got home, I had my first bite of Orange Chicken, and I could not believe how crispy and flavorful it was. My wife had the General Tso's, and it was also delicious. The fried rice was delectable in addition to the soup and appetizers. I'll be back again and again. It's made my life in Conway much better knowing good Chinese is right around the corner.

Hands down the sweetest man I’ve ever ordered food from AND it was amazing! He checked in on us several times & made sure that we were full and had leftovers before we left. He also sent us home with complimentary cookies. The food is worth going for and the friendly face asking about your day & family when you walk in the door makes you not want to go anywhere else.

This was our first time here. The food was excellent and the owners hospitality was even better. Huge portions. Lunch was @17 but i had entree, soup, egg rolls, chicken strip, wontons, and cookies. Enough food leftover for supper and probably lunch tomorrow too. I will definitely be coming back when i come to Conway for my Dr appts. Thank you again for such great food!!!!!!

I recently ordered from Oriental Kitchen to cater food for a Lunar New Year event at Hendrix College, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! After checking out three other local Asian restaurants, I decided to go with Mr. Wong, and I’m so glad I did. He was incredibly generous with the amount of food he provided for an amazing price. The serving sizes were fantastic, and everything tasted amazing! The food was wonderful, but Mr. Wong’s service was honestly the best part. He’s genuinely one of the sweetest people—so kind, thoughtful, and dedicated to making sure his customers are happy. It’s clear that he truly loves what he does, and that passion shines through in both the quality of the food and the love he puts into his service. While I was waiting for him to put in my order, he gave me free food just out of pure kindness. Thank you for everything, Mr. Wong! I hope you have a wonderful and well-deserved retirement. You will be missed!

I ordered quite a bit from here before the new owners, and it was pretty good. Today what is the first day that I had ordered from here with new ownership. We had family in for the day and decided to call in an order. An order for 6 people and 2 kids was ready in 15 mins. Calling in and picking up was very pleasant and the owner was more than kind. The portions were pretty big before new ownership, but I feel like they’ve only increased, and on top of that they threw in a significant amount of extra food for free. All the food was extremely fresh and hot ravioli, with a quality being some of the best I’ve had lately in the area. I 100% would order from here again and this will be my go to stop for Chinese take out from now on! Nothing negative to say at all.

Food is amazing!! There's so much I don't know how I'm going to eat it all. The guy was great he gave us a extra egg roll and 2 almond cookies for free cause "you young people eat" haha. He asked us if we were sisters or besties and chatted us up. He was so so sweet. Food was really good I love it we're coming back

I am soo happy this spot was posted in Conway food news. Wong and food were amazing as it was when he was at China Town. We have food for tomorrow. This will DEFINITELY be my new spot. 😋😋

One of my coworkers recommended this place and I will say I was in no way disappointed! The food is great and they give you very generous portions. The egg drop soup was the best that I've had. Very balanced with the right amount of flavors. I went with the classic sesame chicken which was delicious. It's very obvious they have put time into their own recipes and make them from scratch with fresh, quality ingredients. However, what really sets this place apart is just how friendly the people are. They seem to genuinely care about their customers which reflects highly in the service. That's something money cannot buy you in other places. I cannot recommend this place enough :)

I ordered the almond chicken, which is described as being in a white sauce with peas, carrots, bamboo shoots, & water chestnuts. What I received had chicken and bamboo shoots and that is where the similarity stopped. The new owners do not pay attention to the menu descriptions online.

First and last time ever buying food from here, I made a mistake and stopped here and said let’s try something different instead of this one spot that we always get when we ate the food it was disgusting greasy had a stale taste to it, threw it out never again

All three of our chicken entrees were dry, hard, and chewy. They also lacked flavor. And the side of “fried rice” was just plain brown rice. Very disappointed.

I went there from Mayflower tonight. Worse food I've ever had. I ordered two dinners, got home only had yucky, dried, hard, over cooked chicken. Sweet and sour chicken tasted like hard rubber. Fried rice tasted so bad. Had to throw out!!!

I have been a patron of Oriental Kitchen for many years. Always been my “go to” take out Chinese in Conway. I am very disappointed. I ordered my food at 505pm. Arrived at 530pm and my food wasn’t ready. It got to be 545, I inquired why it was taking so long. They stated they don’t start the order until you arrive. I explained, I ordered 25 minutes prior online for it ready when I got there. We went back and fourth for about 5 minutes, and he just apologized and made up excuses of the air is out, we don’t want your food to be cold. So on. I asked if they would discount my food. He looked at me like I was stupid. I said I’m not asking for a full refund, he went on to say here is $5, 10% of your meal. Maybe I should be thankful he gave me $5 back. But from someone who comes from the food industry, if anything like this happened at my place of work, the manager would have gone to the table to apologize and let them know that he/she would take care of the meal. It’s unprofessional for me to have put my food in online at 505pm and it not be ready until 555pm. Almost an hour and 1/2 that time I was present waiting on my food. I gave them almost 30 minutes to have my food ready before I arrived. Also, I ordered vegetable Lo Mien. When I got home, it was noodles with some cabbage in it. I have attached a photo of it below. That is unacceptable. I spent $50 tonight for horrible service, food that took an hour from when I initiated online. Which includes giving them 30 minutes before even arriving. Food that was prepared incorrectly with not having vegetables in the Lo Mein, orange chicken overcooked. They usually have great food! But my business will be taken elsewhere, even if that means driving across town to Jade China. The second picture I’m posting is the vegetable lo mein that I got from the website. Please take your business elsewhere.

OLD REVIEW FROM A YEAR + AGO: Love love Love the Oriental kitchen! The VERY BEST around! UPDATED REVIEW 06/06/2025: Previous owners have retired now. Under new ownership, the food quality, taste, etc. has gone WAAAY DOWN through the floor. It's HORRIBLE now. Still huge portions but if it's terrible who cares? My daughter got the beef and brocoli and got a piece of beef that was so grisly it was not cutable / edible at all. Remaining beef of questionable quality but that ruined it for her. My husband and I got our old favorites simply just chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice. The onions were chunks not finely diced as they were in the past - the chicken was not diced, large cut pieces and GROSS quality. The overall taste was SO SO BAD. I am SOOOOO SAD. I hope previous original owners are having a wonderfuly retirement. This new version with the same name, just needs to go!
