My husband and I ate here on Tuesday because it was one of the only places that looked open. It was fantastic! Both he and I have food allergies, me to soy and he to dairy. We were able to tell this to the waiter, and felt confident that we were served food that we both could eat. They are also able to accommodate a gluten free diet! The food was delicious, the cocktail was also fantastic and they had a good selection of beer. I highly recommend this restaurant over some of the others along the Main Street that seemed more typical of a sports bar situation. Hand and foot was more upscale but still casual dining.
Ordered the Southern fried tofu sandwich and it was excellent. Would recommend it to anyone willing to try it. Atmosphere and service were great. Definitely a spot to check out if you're in town
We had the buttermilk chicken and the fish fry sandwiches - delicious. My hibiscus cocktail was so good I had two - unheard of! On top of this I enjoyed the efficient and professional person running the bar - she was incredible! As a service provider for small businesses I really am impressed by people who serve others well and seem to really enjoy their work. The restaurant has a great vibe, very vibrant but not so noisy that my partner and I could not hear each other. We will enjoy again on outer next visit to Corning.
We were on a roadtrip and stopped here for some warm food, and it did not disappoint! The Curry Beef Sandwich, and the Salmon Melt were so good! The restaurant is so adorable as well, and have so many good choices. Highly recommend!!
Ate there last night, while in town for work. Absolutely wonderful experience. The liquor selection was fantastic. Service was excellent and the chicken curry sandwich was delicious, even though I was trying to figure out how to eat it. 😂 Sat at the end of the bar next to the regulars. They were great company and it seemed as though the staff treats everyone as family. Bartender did a wonderful job. She was very pleasant to talk to. Enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
Super attentive service. The team at Hand and Foot were great and patient with us making our drinks and dinner choices. The food was food and well proportioned and tasty. Tables are communal and our neighbors were awesome (yeah, we met them at the museum.) Stop in for a good time.
We travel to FLX often from PA. Any time we have the chance to stop in Corning, we stop here for lunch. The food is always amazing and the dishes are very creative and made with farm to table local ingredients. The menu varies and offers new items each time we come, depending on the season. The dishes are savory and offer intriguing flavor combinations. They also have an excellent variety of local craft beers on tap.
Stopped in after visiting the Rockwell Museum and had the Hippie Be Good and the Beer Biscuit sandwiches. Both were delicious. There were many other items on the menu that sounded intriguing as well and a woman who saw us perusing the menu outside said many of the dishes are good. Service was fast and friendly and prices reasonable.
I've been back here many times over the summer. One of my favorite. The food is excellent. Much better than the typical bar food. The beer and wine selection is very good. Just love this place.
We came here from Rochester for a weekend in January. The ambiance is so cozy! Amazing beer (and bourbon) selection and delicious food. Ordered several things which were all delicious, but the brisket sandwich was probably one of the best things we ever had. Service was wonderful! We definitely plan to come back.
We had the tostones, kale slaw, and the fried rice with chicken. All were fantastic. The service was great and the atmosphere was good with good lighting - nice and dim.
The Poke bowl was amazing! Wish I had one now, but sadly I live 5 hours away. The chicken sandwich was good too if you like a more basic lunch. We heard the menu changes periodically, so I will certainly plan my next visit to Corning based on availability of the Seared Ahi Poke bowl. (Not kidding) We rounded out lunch with a New Orleans Cocktail and the husband had Modelo on tap. Enjoyed talking with some of the locals, great atmosphere!
This was one of our favorite places in New England. Our server was wonderful, the food was great, and the drinks were spot on.
I had the beer brisket. It hit the spot just right. Great service and atmosphere. Worth every dollar.
Went there first valentines 2026, amazing food, awesome staff, just a great experience !
A Poke bowl and a Belgian beer is a food combination to delight me, and not one I'd expect to find on a Market Street in upstate New York. Yet here it was. I had 2 bowls they were so good. The cool dark atmosphere on a hot, humid, weekend afternoon, was perfect. Staff and guests chattered as they took thier time in a way I imagine US southerners languish with time. A perfect piece in the jigsaw of my weekend away-holi-day
One of my favorite places to eat and have drinks. Atmosphere is very chill and artistic and the music adds to the experience. Vibe is always positive. Staff is on point. Food is fresh, local, and upscale at a great price. The chef is one of a kind. The bar staff makes some of the most beautiful drinks and I notice customers snap and share pics. If u want to feel upscale and meet new people and share smiles and laughs, this is definitely a stop for you.
The food and drinks are delicious, and surprisingly cheap! I've been told they change up the menu regularly, but when we went we got the currywurst and Korean rice cakes, both of which were great (we also got the pickle platter, and almost ordered another to go). Everything we got off the cocktail menu was great too - I'd recommend the Eliot Rosewater for a nice gin drink, or the Gary Hart for something tropical.
Beer brisket sandwich and po boy were both delicious. Soba was a great option for our kiddo and the sweet chili sauce wasn’t too spicy for him. Service was fast but it was super crowded at opening on the weekend!!
Fresh, High quality ingredients, very well prepared, the flavors are exemplary. Really appreciate the diversity of dishes. Friendly attentive staff as well.
The good is excellent. Great selection of beer. Try the fried rice, the dang-mi sandwich. Eclectic flavor. Very tasty.
Interesting, flavorful, tasty food in a pleasant casual restaurant with a clean bathroom. Pictured: the not-hotdog, fried rice, and bunny melt (had to try it...!) Price came to just about $20 a person. They do a reasonable have surcharge for credit cards (3.5%). Bread was good. Plates had a great balance of nom, crunch, tender, sour, etc
Service was quick and friendly, and the food was fantastic! We ordered the banh mi and the kielbasa sandwich. The banh mi wasn’t traditional, but was a fun take. Both sandwiches were incredibly flavorful and delicious. Even the side salad that came with the sandwiches was tasty.
Creative menu, loved the food and atmosphere. Played Oasis in the background when I was there. Can't go wrong with that. The Kale salad was phenomenal.
Such a great menu. We were in town for 2 nights and ate there twice. The food was so good we had to go back to try more things. The cocktails are creative and interesting. Tip - if you are a party of 2, try to get seats at the bar be ause it is easier to hear each other. The long communal table is great fun, but noisy.
Yeah, this place is amazing. On vacation for 6 days and we ate here three times. It's that good. The only reason it wasn't six is because we were camping and wanted to cook at the campfire at least a few times. We might have to make the five hour drive back for the butter chicken. #willtravelforgreatfood
Good was amazing. Unique flavors that you won't find many other places. Excellent drink, beer and wine selection. Can't wait to come back.
Had this incredible hibiscus lemon gin drink (Hibiscus Hatchet I think). Their food is so good you cannot go wrong. It's so clear their ingredients are fresh it makes such a difference. Ate an amazing sausage dish with shoestring fries that were perfect and this amazing curry ketchup that had a little kick but not enough to be too much even for me (and I'm terribly sensitive to spice). Service was impeccable per usual, quick even though they were packed. Seriously you have to eat here.
New favorite spot for dinner in Corning. Family had recommended this spot and we've been looking forward to checking it out. Blown away by their drink selection and variety. Service and food was excellent and they were very accommodating to diet restrictions (avoiding bread). So pleased to see something new and unique in the area, we'll definitely be back!
Such a nice late night vibe, pretty hard to find a place open past 8 or 9 PM. Great place, playlist was fire, service was fantastic. Bartender was sweet and excellent service. Nice selection of beers and fair prices. The food menu was way better than it reads on paper give it a chance. Fire The main table is like a family/community style. Sat at the bar which was nice
As a fellow restaurant owner I have to say this place was superb. The food was incredible. Thoughtful, eclectic, delish! The service was fantastic. Our son loved the box of cars to play with. The music was spot on, it was a vibe. I haven’t enjoyed a meal like this at a restaurant in years. Nailed it. We know it’s a labor of love and it shows.
Absolutely love this place. Excellent bar STOCKED with hundreds of drink options. Rare bottles of bourbon, extensive beers in cans, bottles, and 8 taps featuring international favorites and local brews alike. The kitchen dishes out uniquely gourmet food that will make you want to visit for the food as much as the drink! I thought I had more photos but I guess I'll have to go back!
Excellent food and beers. Bit of a family style seating which I was not expecting but was still private for my husband and I to enjoy dinner. Clearly they run a clean, elegant business if this sign means anything🤣. We tried the Lawson’s Super Lemonova Blonde and the Little Willow “Festival Season” IPA. Both were lovely. The greens as a side had a tasty sesame dressing.
🥪 THE BEST vegetarian sandwich I’ve ever had. It’s the only one on the menu (goat cheese and chutney with smoked carrot & arugula on rye—$13 & perfect). My wife ordered the beef with ju and barely spoke over dinner because she was melting with happiness. This family establishment is dripping in charm and silliness (e.g., you’ll get a pack or Smarties candies with your bill). Only complaint—it’s very loud (music is high volume and groups are excited). ✅♿️ wheelchair accessible bathroom, entrance, and communal table. GREAT for groups, but make a reservation if you can. 🍺 Draft beer at reasonable prices $5+, gorgeous $15 🍸cocktails, 🍷wine ($12-15 glasses or $40+ bottles), and SO. MANY. SPIRITS 🥃
Had dinner here on a Saturday night, sat at the bar and the bartenders took great care of us! My wife got the fried chicken sandwich and I got the brisket one, absolutely delicious! Lots of cocktails, good beer and a bustling vibe, really good. The food looked so good when it came I forgot to take a picture!
Our waitress was amazing. Lots of questions about the alcohol selection and food- she was very knowledgeable and patient!! Food was delicious & the alcohol selection was top notch! I thought I was in Kentucky- their Bourbon selection was unbelievable!!! Well done😀
I’m telling you just stop in and try it. The menu changes from time to time but the ingredients are always the freshest and highest of quality. I’ve never had a meal where I wasn’t extremely happy after. From front staff the kitchen this place it 10/5. Only people who won’t like this place are ones that you wouldn’t take advise from anyway.
Eclectic drinks collection (try mission bell!) and usually diverse dining menu. They also have kids menu which is not listed on the menu. Trendy ambience and service was quick. It is closed on Sundays and a cautionary note, seating is either at the bar or a big continuous table where people can sit next to each other (noteworthy during post covid era!). Overall a lovely place.
We had the pleasure of having 2 meals st this restaurant. The first meal was a beautiful brisket sandwich with fresh greens. The meal was excellent but the wine, beer and cocktail list?? WOW! I had a Brut rose sparkling that was just delicious.. a party in my mouth! My one friend had the same meal as I did but she had a glass of red blend that she enjoyed so much, she had a second one! My other friend had a ham, egg with bechamel sauce that was also delicious but a bit sweet for my taste. When we went the next day for another meal, my friend ordered the same ham and egg sandwich but asked for the sauce on the side which worked out perfect. I had the gyro that was a bit spicy. I asked the owner what would be the best beverage to calm down the heat and he suggested a draft Modelo and it was perfect to calm the heat. He knows his stuff! A must visit restaurant in a great little town!
Familiar menu yet with tasty twists. Great atmosphere, good food, good music. Gluten free options available. We liked tostones as the snack, home-made pickles are tasty. Levantine gyro seemed bold as far as ingredients, but was well balanced and yummy as well. Fried buttermilk chicken is pretty good as well.
Super interesting place. The sandwiches were really good and original, with a super nice potato salads to accompany them. The pretzel we got was so different than usual, and tasty! Interesting list of original cocktails, and well made. Not a fan of long communal benches, but sitting at the bar was good enough. Would totally come back to try other stuff from the eclectic menu.
Stopped into this place and found it to be an absolute gem! The service was top notch the entire time. The menu has a bunch of creative choices and did not disappoint. We tried the Philly, the fried chicken, the pretzel and the pickle platter. Everything was great and loved the options to upgrade the sides. Next time I would skip the jam on the Philly as it was a bit over powering. The sandwich portions are really generous. We were also pleasantly surprised at the fantastic selection of spirits and enjoyed some great bourbon that most places don’t offer and reasonable prices.
This place was a hidden gem. We stopped in for a drink and dinner, sat at the bar. Such a great vibe, and we had the Poke and a Cuban sandwich...so good. We actually came back a 2nd night and had the pork Shank....OMG...SO much flavor. The pork was tender and crispy on the edges, the rice and beans had amazing flavor with a hint of spice. The service was just as good as the first night we went. Romantic lighting, great bartenders, and the food was so good I had to tell our bartender to let the chef know. Great place. We will definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.
My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a recent visit to the area. We each started with a cocktail, I had the T.G.F.F.T., which was reminiscent of a paloma, and my husband had a Last Word. Both were delicious! For food, we started with a pickle platter (SO good) and then I had the Korean rice cakes (pork belly) and my husband ordered the gyro with potato salad. There was a little mix up in the kitchen and he accidentally got the tofu sandwich but they realized the issue quickly and brought out his gyro. They allowed us to keep the tofu sandwich and it was great even as leftovers the following day. The gyro was awesome - very flavorful - and the potato salad was fantastic. The Korean rice cakes with pork belly were crispy, salty, spicy, and very memorable in the best way. Our server was friendly and service was quick! We would happily return.
Stopped in with friends after a day at the Corning Museum of Glass. We were a bit earlier than the dinner rush, so were seated immediately. Host & servers were polite and friendly, and the food was absolutely amazing. We split a mixed plate of the house-made pickled veggies, and I had the korean rice cakes with tofu. The others had the bahn mi and the fish fry, and all of us were delighted with our meals. The pickles were a wonderful addition to our main dishes, and their kimchi was particularly good. We only had soft drinks since we still had a long drive ahead, but the beer, wine, and hard liquor lists were substantial. Wonderful atmosphere, although the stools are a bit uncomfortable, particularly for those of us who are a bit heavier. All in all it was a lovely experience and we will definitely be stopping in the next time we're over in that part of NYS.
This place is a must stop if you are in corning. All the food is slightly off kilter(in a good way) from plain old sandwiches and salads. I had the banh Mi and my wife had the shrimp po'boy. Both were delicious. We also had the potato salad and greens on the side. The greens were in a flavorful miso, ginger, carrot dressing that I would put on a flip flop and eat. I thoroughly enjoyed the banh mi, tons of flavor and a great french roll. The po'boy was also very tasty, not too spice and full of flavor as well. The service was great, it was early when we got there and pretty empty. It did start to fill up as we were leaving. Can't wait to try other items on the menu, everything looked good.
Absolutely loved my first visit to Hand + Foot! I ordered the pretzel appetizer, kale slaw, and the beer brisket sandwich with potato salad. The food was phenomenal across the board, especially the brisket sandwich. It was generously sized, packed with flavor, and a great value for the quality. The kale slaw completely exceeded my expectations. It came in a huge portion, was super fresh, crunchy, and perfectly dressed. The only thing I didn’t love was the potato salad. It might have been a French or German style, and I just personally prefer the classic mayo-based kind. Still, everything else was so good that I can’t wait to come back. Great atmosphere, creative menu, and amazing portion sizes for the price.
We had buttermilk chicken, Banh Mi, kale slaw, and pretzel; all of them were amazing! I really liked the kale and pretzel! The music is a little bit loud. The service was good, and the price was reasonable. If you are visiting this small city like us, it's decently worth having a meal here!
My wife and I stopped in for lunch and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The service was perfect, attentive and friendly without ever feeling rushed, and every staff member we interacted with made us feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and great flavor in every bite. The cocktails and beer selection were also top-notch. On top of all that, the decor and atmosphere were perfectly put together; stylish, comfortable, and inviting. It all came together for a really enjoyable meal. We’ll definitely be back!
Decent beer selection and from the looks of it, decent cocktails and wine selection as well. Pretty interesting takes on classic sandwiches - the banh mi was a take on a pork belly version, flavorful and overall great even if not quite authentic (was not my expectation going in, being fair). Worth a stop in.
Always delicious! Another update: Fantastic as always. Love the Water Lily for drink and tried the new Duck Confit Melt and some more Poke? Update: Visited again. New spin on the rice cakes and the poke. Added a delicious lobster roll to the menu. Still loving the Water Lily. Always great food and people! Forgot to take pictures until is eaten most of it. One of my favorite restaurants of all time. It's a two hour drive reach way for our family, but we try to go at least once a month. Great options for my kids. Specialty drinks are amazing. All the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and happy. The menu is fresh and inventive. Poke is a must. The Korean rice cakes are addictive. I liked the pork better than the newest rendition, but still amazing. Perhaps the pork was life changing though. Definitely show up starving, plan on leftovers, get the pickle sampler! Oh and fried pickles! There's too much good to say for one review! They also have a great selection of art on the walls.
Fabulous local gem. Awesome selection of handhelds with other mains available. Beer brisket burger had tender flavorful brisket meat pairing perfectly with the pronounced taste of the beer cheese, dilly onion adding a snap of freshness and bacon crumbles, some crunch. Perfect bite. Cold soda noodles bussing with flavor from the sweet chili sauce with inventive tops including spiralized cucumbers. Or server Katelyn was wonderful and steered us well.
Nice bar with a wide array of choices. I picked the Bleacher Creature (Italian Sausage) while my partner ordered the Curried Beef. Both were amazing, and served with greens with some kind of delicious ginger dressing. For a Friday night, it wasn't too packed but service was fast and friendly. This is a must-do as far as I'm concerned.
I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the Cubano. I decided on greens with one and chips with the other. The fried chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious! It gets 5 stars. It came with three thinly pounded chicken breasts and which were fried perfect with an awesome breading. Crunchy and tasty while not being super thick. I could eat the chicken alone without the bacon and cheese, it's so good. (Get the fried chicken sandwich!) The salad dressing is great but I would rather spring mix over iceberg lettuce. Personal preference. The cubano was why I give a 4 star review. The b+b pickles don't give a vinegary contrast to the pork and cheese. They don't have a sharp bite to equal the fat. The other detractor is the bread was too sweet, just like the pickles it didn't equal the fat and richness of the meat and cheese. Finally, on the cubano, it wasn't pressed hard. I think most of us expect a panini sandwich like a cubano to be thin and crispy. This wasn't, it's about as thin as a burger. All in all their fried chicken is perfect! I recommend it heavily!
The food is always excellent. They just updated their menu. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a Hibiscus Hatchet (my favorite drink there - Gin, bubbly and Hibiscus syrup) and my husband had the Banyon Curry. Both were fabulous. We were lucky to snang one of the single tables in the back (I hate the one long table where everyone sits together!). Be aware that it's acoustically always a bit loud and dark in there. Servers are fantastic. One of our favorite places on Market Street!
Hand and foot has a pretty smooth atmosphere with a friendly staff. The bar and restaurant is a little bit more classy than the other surrounding bars. While I was here I got "That purple drink". I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a smooth cocktail that goes down easy. Also it's purple, which is pretty cool in its own way. The food options, while creative, were alright. I got the "Scottish" breakfast, which is a egg, sausage, and something else all wrapped into a ball and put on a stick.
A cool vibe, a good selection of beer and some amazing food make this a stand-out spot that’s not to be missed. We had the standard gyro and the fried buttermilk chicken sandwich and a couple stouts (from out-of-state - a surprise given the many local breweries) and it made the afternoon perfect.
What a strange name for a restaurant - but don't let that stop you! the food here was super delicious!!! I got the Beer Brisket sandwich, which was so tender and flavorful, the everything bun was soft and delicious too! I did not care for the potato salad though, which I paid $2 extra for - without knowing (they really should tell you) - it was VERY VERY heavy on the vinegar. My husband got the Gluten Free Buttermilk fried chicken and LOVED every bite of it -- he couldn't believe it was GF! Unfortunately, because we stopped in for lunch on our drive home to Cleveland, we did not partake in any drinks but they had an extensive bar and a great drink menu!
It's a nice place to hang. I ordered the Korean rice cakes and it was tough to eat. Avoid. Everything else was ok. Id definitely return.
First time but not gonna be the last time even though I live 3 hours away. Food and cocktails are 5 stars. But the reason why I gave 4 stars because I’m not a big fan of communal table and noise level here. I was there on a Friday night… probably wouldn’t go at such a busy time again, but it is busy for a reason. I highly recommend if you don’t mind noise!
Very welcoming and helpful while taking order. Nice ambiance and set up. They were pretty busy when I went for takeout (no online ordering or delivery), so had to wait about 25 minutes. The poke was ok, I expected more. My kids loved the fried fish (cod) though, and wanted extra servings. I’m not sure about the rest of the food (though I learned Korean rice cakes are NOT Tteokbokki), but I would return just for the excellent service.
Vibrant restaurant with pretty good food. Inventive sandwiches that are pretty big. The carnitas one was spicy and good. The Italian sausage one was more bread than sausage. The pretzel with cheese was definitely a highlight. Atmosphere was lively and loud, but good for a Friday night. The communal dining is sorta different. The dining stools aren't the most comfortable. Service was really good and attentive. For 1 app, 2 dinners, 2 drinks, and 2 beers our check total was just under $100.
We stopped here for lunch and thought the menu was very interesting. We tried the sausage sandwich, which was very good. We particularly liked the pickled onions and peppers as this added a unique zing. We also tried the Philitaly, which had some great flavors. We really liked the pepper relish. Our only critique was that the sliced pork on the Philitaly was a little tough, but that could be more of a preference. The weight staff was outstanding, friendly, and knowledgeable and everyone was great with our dietary restrictions restrictions, which we always very much appreciate. We would absolutely go back and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal in the area. Two things I did want to mention as well. They do not serve coffee - if you like to have coffee at the end of a meal there is a coffee shop a few doors down. Also, they do charge a fee for credit card payments.
Vibrant bar pub in the historic section of Corning. The sandwiches are decent. Many attempts to create traditional sandwiches with new twists. Some are better, some worse off. We like the curried beef, a hint of curry sauce enhanced the meat nicely. The banh mi, not so much. The chef used the soft and spongy roll, pickled cucumbers, and garlicky mayonnaise sauce, which are very contrary to the spirit of banh mi, where soft but crispy roll is king, and fresh crunchy cucumbers are the staples, and last the sauce or pate spread should be subtle, to enhance but not dominate the flavors. The littlephitaly was a good attempt to capture the philly roast pork sandwich. It is the best sandwich of the night. For travelers, passing through town, we found this place has many nice things that a gathering place must have: long community table, decent sandwiches, and long variable beer list. Quite a lively place. We would stop back if we happen to be in the area again. One question for the name, Hand + Foot, is it because it just cost a bit less than Arm + Leg to eat there?
Driving through and we loved the name as we play hand and foot too. At first i was a little hesitant as this isn’t the typical sandwich but we were wrong. It was delicious. Everything tasted so fresh. My brother n law thought the chips were even fresh but they were just ruffles. Service was average. Once we started talking more and asking questions and shared our ruffle story, she perked up. We love that they have board games and cards too you can play. It was strange to have to ask for ice with our water. Nice clean restrooms so great little place to stop and get a bite to eat and have a potty break. We would definitely stop again if we lived here.
The food was great, service fast and friendly. My bahn mi was non-traditional but delish and my sweetie had the fried buttermilk chicken sandwich she would highly recommend, but we both so glad we got the vinegar based potatoe salad. SO GOOD! My only negative would be the seating at a long common table with hard chairs. My old butt needs padding.
Chose this spot based on high ranking and was bedazzled by the unique and varied menu. Our server Kate told us that the menu also changes fairly frequently which evokes a nod to the culinary people in charge. We had the Bahn Mi, the fish sandwich and the recommended Beer brisket. Soba noodles as appetizer which were spectacular. All the sandwiches were surrounded by too much bread but the fillings were quite good except for the brisket which was underwhelming. The side salads with ginger dressing were delicious! Totally worth the small upcharge. Kate was good and checked in appropriately. Now let's talk about counter height one piece chairs that are throughout the entire bar and restaurant - they are the only choice. It had to be the most uncomfortable chair we ever encountered in a hospitality environment. All three of us could not wait to get out of them and one in our party stood for the last 10 minutes of the meal. I am shocked that only a few reviews mention them. My daughter speculated that this might be "by design" to turn the seats faster and I pondered that as a possibility.....
Really enjoyed the food here. Whoever crafted the menu has a great understanding of flavor profiles and textures. Everything we had was well balanced. We tried the curried beef and hippie be good sandwiches and did a pickle platter. Both sandwiches were great in their own way, and it was hard to pick for me to pick a favorite (my boyfriend gave the hippie be good two thumbs up and said he would do the three hour drive to have it again). The pickles were also really good. Of the five on the platter, the red wine beet stole the show for us. The kimchi hit the right flavor notes. I'm usually not a bread and butter pickle fan, but these were so crunchy and not too sweet; I couldn't stop eating them. Again, all the pickles were good, so I'd say try them all if you can. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu! Oh and the atmosphere was good, that rustic modern vibe. The open layout was a bit loud for me, but nothing that would make it a deal breaker to go to. The servers/staff we encountered were all great too!
A unique twist on curry, I had the Durban curry which was served in a carved out loaf of bread. Lots and lots of flavor, spicy but not crazy heat level, less than medium level I think, I got side of chips , wish I got the upgrade side. Wish the curry was maybe a little more soupy so that it would have soaked more into the bread- I would have eaten the bread if it did. Extensive drink list, 8 beers on draft and the beer , wine list was excellent- had a smoked beer from Germany. It was a good Wednesday afternoon lunch. Customer service was good and I received everything in a timely fashion. It’s a plus 4 rating.
Food was just OK. Rice cakes were not cooked through, they were only toasted which left them hard and sometimes inedible. No chew at all. Gyro pita hard and inflexible. Fried chicken sandwich dry. Bahn mi OK but tasted like Canadian bacon instead of the right cut and flavor of pork belly. Not enough seating and diners sat playing games while other people waited for food. It’s a pass.
We ordered fish fry dinners. We got it home to find out their idea of a fish dinner is a small piece of fish on a roll, 4 pickle slices and some concoction they said was potato salad. I myself only ate the fish. My husband tried the potato salad, he didn't like the prominent vinegar flavor. Fish was good but not worth almost $40.
Fusion not so good. Spaghetti Asian noodle so so. Pretzel sure pretty good but should be less for what it is. Kids chicken tenders were forgotten. Portions were at least large. But not enough to stretch another meal.
A charming local spot with great ambiance that my boyfriend and I would love to come back to next time we’re in Corning, NY to give it another try. We did a fried rice takeout and it was not good. Chicken was breaded and dry and the rice was flavorless and sticky. We wanted to like it more, but we ended up throwing most of it out which doesn’t happen. 3 stars because we loved the place’s vibe.
Appetizers (tostones and fried pickles) were fried hard as rocks and terrible. But the beer brisket sandwich was amazing. Good cocktails. Nice atmosphere. Service was friendly, but only when they needed to be.
Cute place right in the heart of downtown Corning. Lots of different dishes to choose from, everything sounded good. Decided on the po'boy and was disappointed. The sauce was really sweet so you could hardly taste the scallop meat, it tasted like general tso's chicken, not what i was expecting. I'd go back and try something else but the po'boy wasn't a winner for me.
Pretty good service, and my husband’s sandwich was delicious, but I got the rice cakes and they were like eating jerky. The sauce and everything was tasty, and the tofu was perfect, but most of the rice cakes were inedible. Definitely disappointed.
I would suggest bringing a snack. We got in at first seating. Got a pretzel fourth minutes after we were seated and our food an hour and 15 minutes after. The food was fine, nothing to write home about. If your stopping in for lunch and are on a time budget, or you are particularly famished, I would pass. On the food front: The pretzel was interesting. definitely not the typical presentation. Bread itself was good didn't have that baking soda crust that one usually expects of a pretzel. The beer cheese was a bit bland. 6/10 the banh mi was passable, but I don't think they used a baguette 🥖. A quibble. 7/10 The po boy got a resounding 'meh'. 5/10 Cuban we fine. Served exactly as expected, would be excellent if it didn't take 70 minutes get. 7/10 The Korean rice cake, they did an interesting option to seer the rice cake creating an odd consistency that I'm not sure if they were going for. Good flavor but execution was off due to the rice cake consistency. If the rice cakes were soft, typical of Asian cuisine, it would be spot on. 4/10 Overall the low score is driven by the slow service. It really isn't a great feeling wondering if the staff forgot you and seeing parties sat, order, eat, pay, then leave and your sitting snacking on pocket candy.
Walked in, got sat at the bar. My husband asked what beers they have on draft and a very rude bartender told him “ it’s on the board over there”. We were not able to see since we were sat in the corner of the bar and the lighting was dim. There were 4 beers on draft. They could’ve easily listed them. We got up and left!
Edit review - one star. It was legitimately an embarrassingly terrible experience. With zero feedback. This place would have been a solid 4 stars if I had rated it when my wife and I first visited back in late fall of 2023. Came in with family recently (4 of us all together) around 4:30 on 1/11/25. There was a two top that walked in just before us and three or four people at the bar. Samba music was blaring obnoxiously loud, we had to practically shout across the table to each other. The entire time the large manager on duty paced back and forth making us feel rather uncomfortable and rushed. Again, there was hardly anyone in the place. Food was good (hence two stars), although half of my wife's duck confit sandwich had maybe a teaspoon of meat on it at best. When pointing this out to the aforementioned correctional officer the excuse was "it's a new menu item..", yet our other sandwich ordered was fine. Now here's the fun part - as he goes to leave the table **HE TAKES A CHIP OFF MY MOTHER'S PLATE**. We were so taken aback by this it was hard to know what to say. He proceed to bring back a small ramekin of meat... Upon leaving - our waitress, who was very aloof the entire time, noticeably grimaced when handed the check and seeing the 20% tip (which IMO was generous given the overall experience). All in all very disappointing seeing as how the food is pretty good from an interesting menu in a quaint setting. Cannot recommend.
Visited Hand + Foot in Corning, NY for dinner on Saturday night, April 26th, and while the place has a nice ambiance, some good music, and a solid cocktail menu, our overall experience was unfortunately ruined by the service. We were served by a waiter wearing a baseball cap backwards who seemed to have absolutely no grasp of professionalism. He never introduced himself, slapped the menus onto the table without a word, and repeatedly called me “brother” like we were at a dive bar instead of a restaurant. When my wife politely asked if he was our server, he responded with sarcasm and a passive-aggressive tone — genuinely disrespectful and totally unnecessary. That kind of attitude can really throw off the energy of a night out, and it did for us. The rest of the team may be fine, but this one individual made the experience feel awkward and unwelcome. On the bright side, the poke bowl I had was actually very good, and there’s street parking nearby which is convenient. But honestly, no amount of ambiance or decent food makes up for rude service. Won’t be returning.
