Always love going to Maggiano’s. I’ve been to a few in different states. Was in California and decided to go here for Sunday lunch. Went here to celebrate a birthday and we were served by Courtney. She was amazing. She checked in on us and had amazing conversations about Maggianos and our travels. Gave us a birthday treat and a card with a special note of our conversation. This was such a warm and personal gesture. This is now my favorite Maggianos and one of my favorite overall restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Maggianos food is always good. Large portions. Complimentary warm bread was great. We shared an individual Cesar salad, Spaghetti with meatballs in marinara sauce and my all time favorite dish at Maggianos, Rigatoni D. Followed by creme brûlée for dessert. Family loved the Spaghetti and meatball. One of the better chain pastas restaurants and I’m glad they liked it. Wife also finally got to try the Rigatoni D. Not too heavy and flavorful. As always, Maggianos always delivers for pasta and Italian food. Highly recommend. This place was packed on a Sunday. I also highly recommend the Costa Mesa branch and hopefully you get served by Courtney. Such amazing service here by everyone but truly Courtney stands out. Thank you!

Maggiano’s offers an excellent dining experience. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming — slightly lively at times, which is expected for such a popular place. The food was exceptional, full of authentic Italian flavor, and beautifully presented. We just celebrated our son’s second birthday here with a pasta party (his absolute favorite food), and the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. We worked with Gabby, the special events coordinator, who made planning completely stress-free. She helped us design the event and executed everything flawlessly — we truly felt taken care of from day one. The staff the day of the party was outstanding — especially Eric and Yadira. They were attentive from the moment we arrived. There was never an empty drink, food came out perfectly timed (including special requests), plates were cleared immediately, boxes were ready before we even asked — and not once did we feel rushed. Huge shoutout to Eric — he was phenomenal. Professional, personable, and genuinely cared about our guests having a great time. Our friends and family had a blast, and we’re already looking forward to hosting our next event here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a seamless, elevated, and family-friendly celebration experience.

We rented one of the private dining rooms to celebrate my father’s 90th birthday. Everything went super smooth. The food and service were both excellent and our guests were totally happy and delighted. Thank you for everything this crew does to make a special day that much more special.

Review: Maggiano's Little Italy My recent visit to Maggiano's was an absolute delight! The entire experience, from the moment we walked in, was fantastic. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and feels like a classic Italian-American family dinner, making it the perfect setting for any occasion. The service was impeccable—our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. And the food? Simply amazing. I opted for the lunch special and was completely blown away by the quality and portion size. The dish was incredibly flavorful and prepared to perfection, a true testament to the kitchen's dedication to classic Italian recipes. It was a perfect blend of fresh ingredients and bold flavors. I can't wait to go back and try another one of their delicious specials!

Awesome experience last night at Maggiano’s by South Coast Plaza. Plenty of parking. We made reservations for a party of 5 at five pm (We like to eat dinner early and beat the crowd, haha) Very nice atmosphere, not busy on a Friday around 5 pm. By the time we left, maybe 6:30 pm, the place was really busy and people waiting inside and outside the restaurant to be seated. Our waiter, Eduardo, was excellent. Very professional, polite, kind, and attentive. Food was delicious, worth every penny. High quality and good quantity. My wife and I usually order an appetizer, then split a main dish, and then get some dessert. Love the atmosphere!

Bella Cuba is our go to place for authentic Cuban food. Great atmosphere, staff and food...especially the roasted chicken plate (#6). Also the best sangria around! Highly recommended.

I just dined at this Maggiano’s and tried the Four Cheese Ravioli which was very good, with the sauce flavorful without being too heavy. The portions are normally generous and satisfying. The staff is usually friendly but the service waver a little when they get very busy, also the wait is too long if you dont have a reservation on a weekend. The atmosphere, the setting with the red blankey tables does give that authentic Italian feel to the dining areas, feels comfortable and welcoming, best for a family dinner, though it’s a bit lively if you’re hoping for something quieter.

We had a lovely evening! My chicken piccata was absolutely delicious, and my daughter really enjoyed her salad. While her boyfriend found the fettuccine a little dry and my husband was hoping for a more traditional eggplant Parmesan, we all agreed the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I ordered by phone “arroz con pollo” but it was so BAD, no flavor, just yellow rice with a big piece of chicken, but pretty bad. Nothing like the original cuban Arroz con pollo. Too bad.

I visited this restaurant alone and overall had a disappointing experience. First, the portion was much larger than expected, and the waiter never warned me about it even though he knew I was dining by myself. I ended up ordering way more food than I could eat. Then an awkward situation happened while I was holding the menu, the waiter Michael placed a glass behind it. I didn’t see it, accidentally hit it, and the glass fell and broke. I ordered shrimp scampi spaghetti and a Caesar salad, and honestly neither tasted good to me. To be fair, they did not charge me for the broken glass or the prosecco, which I appreciate. However, the service still felt unfriendly. When I was leaving I said “thank you,” and the waiter didn’t respond or say goodbye. Overall, I wouldn’t come back a second time.
