This place is REAL. The fish is light and not oily, french fries delish and the people are super nice. Sooo good. We are going back for sure.

Best Fish and Chips in town and Northern California. Delicious fries and slaw too. Nice pies if you are still hungry. Not cheap, but still worth it. New look again, but same great food and friendly staff.

Tried this restaurant and was impressed. Fish was so delicious that I forgot to use the tarter Sauce. Very cozy and comfortable environment. Loved the atmosphere with October orange decorations with pumpkins on the table.. try it out!!

Absolutely amazing, food is great, staff is super nice, atmosphere is like no other you get a home cooked meal kind of vibe but still a fancy dinner vibe. Great for family's or a date night. Food tastes very fresh and worth the $ every time I visit Cali this is the first place I stop.

After being sick for the weekend, I wanted something light and not too heavy. So I looked this place up and my girlfriend and I went. I ordered the 1 fish and chips meal and two fish tacos and she ordered the clam chowder and tuna sandwich. It was fire!! I wasn't able to finish it all so I brought my taco home.

Is nice food here. Lots of people came. Next time will try their “lemons cloud” dessert.

Betty’s fish and chips is a great find and an excellent place to eat. I found it while on a work trip to Santa Rosa and it didn’t disappoint. The service was great as it’s quick and efficient, and the waitress was helpful and friendly too. On top of that the place is super clean. I had the two piece fish and chips, and it did not disappoint. The fish was smooth and flaky and the batter was just right. Neither too thick or too thin. And fries (chips) were the right amount of crispy. Overall, I had a great time eating there. The food and staff are great.

Best place for cod, prawns were delicious too. I've been to a lot of restaurants (see my post). Betty's has the best cod I've ever had. Cod was fresh and tasty not sure whaat kind of batter or the oil they use bit its not typical. Hard to describe the taste, you should definitely try it. Pricey but it's worth it.

Best Fish and Chips! The service and quality of food here is amazing!! The fish and chips are obviously fantastic, but every other menu item I have tried has been great as well. And the desserts (especially pies) are off the charts. The prices align with the quality of the food. If you are looking to treat yourself and a small group, this is the place!!!

Ginger Thai Fish Tacos...would beat Bobby Flay. Out of this world, inventive with a thin flirty avacoado slice. It was just delicious. An absolute must try.

Tried the Lemon cream pie today OMG what a perfect blend of the cream filling and the whip cream. Both layers were amazing individually but together it was a piece of heaven. We had the coconut cream pie last week for Thanksgiving and it was out of this world delicious so I tried the lemon this week. Next week is the triple berry, looking forward to that. Don't stop baking these amazing pies, I would be sad not to be able to purchase them going forward.

This is a wonderful place to eat a traditional fish & chips meal!! Very tasty, perfect texture battered fish! Fries are cooked to a nice crisp outer as well! The sauces are delicious! Coconut Cream Pie, Chocolate Cream Pie and of course the staple Lemon Cream Pie are all fantastic!! I grew up on going out for F&C with my grandmother and this place hits all levels of a great treat! Along with super friendly & welcoming staff!

Tartar sauce tasted house made and was also quite good with the addition of some fresh lemon. The server mentioned their fish tacos are the most popular items. Excellent food, but quite pricy, as is everything these days. Problem was me and my boss came in for lunch, and it took at least 30 minutes to get the food, and we were late getting back to our job and had to rush eating it. There wasn’t more than a couple other customers at the time either. Still the best fish spot I’ve had outside of Bodega Bay. I can’t recommend it for a quick lunch spot though.

I have eaten here for three decades. Frankly never in my entire life have I had country music played at a seafood resturant. I refuse to do business here after all this time, over what is on the radio.

Not here to bash this business at all. Pies are always good except for today. Bought a few today that weren’t on par as they usually are.the dough was chewy rather than flakey.Also the lemon cream was overly sweet that knocked out the lemon tartness. I also understand it’s food and it’s not always going to be perfect. But With the price of eating out today I wanted to speak on it.

Food is always good, but pretty pricey. $76 for 2- 2 piece fish and chips and 2 cups of chowder. We only go here 2 or 3 x per year. Would go more often if it weren't so pricey.

The battered fish was really good. Only issue was it fell off the fish when cooled. Otherwise delicious. Very clean inside and great service.

Great waitress on Thursday! The fish was good; the fries the best. I don't see the popularity of the lemon tarts. We couldn't taste the lemon, couldn't distinguish between the filling and whipped cream, and the crust was overworked, tough, and thick. Cocktail sauce was too tame and mild. Lots of single, local diners which is a good sign.

Great place but prices are very high. $25.94 for 2 pieces of fish and some fries. And that price was without a drink. Thus $26 will not get you a complete meal.

Great waitress on Thursday! The fish was good; the fries the best. I don't see the popularity of the lemon tarts. We couldn't taste the lemon, couldn't distinguish between the filling and whipped cream, and the crust was overworked, tough, and thick. Cocktail sauce was too tame and mild. Lots of single, local diners which is a good sign.

Went here with my niece . We both had the fish and garlic fries. She had apple pie and i had BLK berry pie. The pies were great so was the food .

Not bad fish and chips but a little greasy. I ordered three piece with fries however the price was $30.00 too pricey not bad fish though I don't think I'd be coming back here anytime soon unless special occasion.

Staff pleasant, and helpful. They need to pay attention to details. Gave us a dirty spoon, with someone else's food on it. Pie delicious. Fries, hot and tasty. My shrimp, chewy, partner's shrimp better. Personal point of view: batter used on seafood is not as tasty as others I've had.

Especially with a sign in the dining room that reads you will pay more but the quality is worth it. I got the Betty combo I believe. $48 with a tea. 1 piece of fish very skinny and 2 scallops and 2 pieces of shrimp with “chips”. The fish was a slim piece. The batter is semi flavorless but I use malt vinegar on everything anyway. Batter was kinda like thinner version of fair corn dog batter. Scallops were good but kind of small and the batter was again lackluster. The shrimp was fair as well. Coleslaw is not the sweet variety which I prefer but was good. The “chips” tasted like frozen fries from Walmart. Would have loved to see fresh cut round chips. The service here however is really good. The server was very friendly and efficient. Guy in the kitchen was attentive and overall they seem like a good place to be. The price point makes it hard to return, and yet I know how expensive running a business in California is so this may be a no kids kinda dinner.

Pros: The lemon cloud is to die for. The onion rings are the best I’ve ever had and the ranch is really good too. These two things are worth going for. The seasoning in the fish breading is unique and tasty. Cons: The breading on the fish is extremely skimpy and as a result, the fish was dry inside while also oily on the outside. At $9 for a single piece of a fish, that piece of fish shouldn’t be dry and dripping in oil.

This place is extremely overrated! Their food quality is like public school lunch at best. Extremely overpriced with crappy seafood and frozen fries. I went in for the first time, and it will be my last time as well. We ordered clam chowder bread bowl and Deck Hand and their food were absolutely disappointing. Deck Hand cost $25.95 that came with stale fries, ONE pathetic looking small piece of cod with hardly any batter on it, ONE prawn and ONE scallop that all over cooked. The clam chowder were THICK heavy in flour and hardly anything in it. And hot chocolate was not so great either! It tasted like hot water and chocolate syrup mixed. Total bill was almost $50! This is the WORST Fish N Chips!
