Resulta impresionante la espléndida restauración de este convento. Merece la pena tomarse un té contemplando su hermoso interior tras una jornada de excursiones por la zona (eso sí, prepara tu bolsillo). Muy recomendable dedicar un ratito a la exposición didáctica sobre su fundación histórica y evolución constructiva que hay en las primeras salas.

Sítio lindíssimo, ambiente espetacular. Chegamos à comida e tudo desmorona. Acorda de bacalhau totalmente insípida e sem sabor, todas as carnes servidas rijas tanto que uma criança apenas conseguiu comer o ovo e as batatas. Fomos ver se seria uma boa opção para o Natal e ficou totalmente esclarecido. Nunca mais.

We had to eat dinner here because we arrived very late to the Hotel and with it being in a small village nothing else was opened so we tried the Crato Pousada restaurant. The food was not good at all. Small portions, very expensive, not Portuguese food, more French. Worst meal we had in the whole country and we were in Portugal a month. Eat anywhere else locally. They need to hire the lady that cooks breakfast in the same restaurant and fire the lunch/dinner chef. Their breakfast variety is excellent, organic local food-Buffett style-order the sautéed mushrooms! People want to eat authentic, basic traditional Portuguese food not French wannabe food.

We had to eat dinner here because we arrived very late to the Hotel and with it being in a small village nothing else was opened so we tried the Crato Pousada restaurant. The food was not good at all. Small portions, very expensive, not Portuguese food, more French. Worst meal we had in the whole country and we were in Portugal a month. Eat anywhere else locally. They need to hire the lady that cooks breakfast in the same restaurant and fire the lunch/dinner chef. Their breakfast variety is excellent, organic local food-Buffett style-order the sautéed mushrooms! People want to eat authentic, basic traditional Portuguese food not French wannabe food.
