The most wonderful service I've had at a restaurant. Servers are nice, many complimentary items, and the food is wonderful and not too expensive. Do expect to wait during the lunch rush but we got a table in 15 minutes. Ambiance is wonderful and it's kid friendly

Stopped by Haidilao for hot pot and had a really great time. The broths were super flavorful (we went with tomato and spicy), and everything tasted fresh. The sauce bar was a lot of fun — easy to get carried away mixing different sauces. Albert was honestly the highlight of the night. He was friendly, checked in without being overbearing, and gave us solid recommendations for sauces and add-ons. Even with how busy it was, he stayed on top of everything and made sure our broth was refilled and our table had what we needed. He explained things clearly and made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. Hot pot is always a good time, but great service makes it even better. Big thanks to Albert for taking such good care of us!

Haidilao continues to set the standard for hot pot in the Bay Area. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out May, our server, was genuinely one of the kindest and most attentive people I’ve encountered in any restaurant. She anticipated every need with a smile and made the entire meal effortless and enjoyable. The food was excellent across the board. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and I highly recommend taking advantage of the Meat O’Clock deal it’s an incredible value for the quality. The shrimp, in particular, was impressively fresh and cooked perfectly in the broth. Whether you’re new to hot pot or a longtime fan, this location is an absolute must-visit. Between the quality ingredients, seamless service, and warm hospitality, Haidilao Cupertino is easily the best hot pot in the Bay Area.

Special shoutout to Tim! He’s by far the best server we’ve met at Haidilao, and we’ve been here more than 10 times! I brought my son on Friday to try their weekday special combo ($23.99 including meat, veggies, and soup base), and it was such an amazing deal. My son loved his free kids’ meal, and Tim checked in with us several times to make sure everything was perfect. At checkout, he even reminded me about the survey for an extra discount. I couldn’t believe how little we paid for two! Such a great experience!

We had such a great hot pot experience! We tried mushroom, tomato, pork bone, and tom yum broth — all of them were super tasty. Our favorite was definitely the tom yum; it had the perfect mix of flavor and spice. The service was friendly and the sauce bar had so many great options. Just make sure to book a table ahead of time because it gets busy!

This Hai Di Lao location is much better than the one in Fremont. They have more staff here, and the service was very attentive. I made a reservation in advance, and they set up the table nicely—especially since I noted that we needed a baby high chair. They even had a placement mat ready on the table, which was thoughtful. There’s also a waiting lounge, and the whole place is clean and welcoming. We were able to place our order right after being seated, which was convenient. The sauce bar offers plenty of snacks, fruits, and sauces to choose from. The meat quality is always fresh and sliced thin. We especially enjoy their golden soup, tomato soup, and spicy soup—the broths are always flavorful and satisfying. We also mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, and the staff went above and beyond—they sang, helped set up, and even got our cake ready for us. It made the celebration extra special.

It was definitely a different experience if you haven’t tried it before! 🍲 • Tomato soup – my absolute favorite, a must-try ❤️ • Mushroom soup – packed with all kinds of mushrooms, mild but tasty • Plenty of vegetarian options 🌱 • Loved the fried bean curd rolls 🙌 • Didn’t enjoy the tofu much 😑 For dessert, tried ube & vanilla ice cream – both were yum! 🍨 The only downside: long wait times ⏳ But overall, a really good spot for dinners with friends or family.

I had an amazing experience at this hot pot restaurant during the Grand opening weekend! The tomato and golden broth were rich and flavorful. The ingredients were fresh, especially the thinly sliced beef, seafood, and vegetables. I also loved the variety of dipping sauces—you can mix and match to your own taste. A big shout-out to our server. Henry and Manager Jennifer for their outstanding service. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Top-notch customer service like this really makes the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and lively, perfect for gathering with friends and family. Definitely one of the best hot pot spots in town—can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely love it here. I tried haidilao in Singapore and grateful they have a location in Cupertino. Service: we had Abel and the moment we sat down he made us feel super welcomed. He even tried speaking Vietnamese to my family which was appreciated. He was attentive and quick! We also met the manager who gave my niece some toys to keep her entertained. Food: our favorite was the Tom yum soup base. Would recommend to anyone! The meats you can’t go wrong with anything beef. Ambiance: SUPER KID FRIENDLY they have welcome gifts, a show with a character dancing to music, when we left they gave my niece an opportunity to choose a red envelope for lunar new year. We also did some secret codes. Overall fun and delicious time!

We went here on my son's actual birthday since he wanted Hotpot and we wanted to try out a new place. When we walked in, the host was on a call and kept us waiting for more than 5 minutes. I am not sure why she did not place the person on hold for a minute while she sat us down (thats how long it took). Once we got to our seat, the service went great and our server helped us navigate their menu since it was our first time. The broths had great flavor and the meat was fresh. Me and son got noodles and the freshness of the noodles was amazing. Like many people mentioned, everything adds up on the bill, I would definitely be back though

you really come to haidilao for the vibes. the food was good and the meat was tender but paying 10+ dollars for a bowl of veggies is a little steep. service was very attentive, even though our server seemed a little overwhelmed and rushed. we also ordered the dancing noodles and never received them and had to get them refunded. the birthday celebration was nice although they only gave us fruit as a dessert, which is perfectly fine and health conscious if you dont get your fill on the food at that price, you can always get plenty of extra sides, fruit, ice cream etc at the sauce bar overall, great atmosphere but if you're coming for the hotpot itself, its just quite alright

Even if you have the reservation or waitlist, you need to wait for 20 or 25 mins. The meat o’clock is $20 but you need to pay charges for soup base ($16 average for one soup base) and $4 for sauce and snacks( they have ice cream). If you like to eat Angus, Pork belly, shrimp and marinated fish for unlimited, meat o’clock is for you. But the total price for one person is around $50 not $20. And I feel like the quality of meat is normal. They have a lot of options for soup base but I don’t like most of the soup base taste. Overall, I feel like it’s not worth it $50 for that combo.

Idk where all these rave reviews come from, but this place doesn't justify the price or the hype. And I'm familiar with hot pot restaurants. Firstly, the meat here is overly expensive for what you get. The quality is mediocre, slices come with lots of fat, yet you still oat $25-$30 for a couple of ounces. Or $10-$20 for a few vegetables. The broths are OK not exceptional. If you're a party of more than 4 prepare to sit uncomfortably (at least most tables I've seen are thus way). And maybe the most annoying is they charge an additional $4 pp for the sauce bar. Really?? It's not a lot, but I'd think with such a premium on the dishes sauces would be a included service. They do have some side shows to entertain the audience, like noodle stretch or guy with many face masks. Nice touch but doesn't justify the price. Service was OK though, frequent enough considering the place was packed.

I unfortunately had an extremely negative experience at this location last weekend. This was not my first time to Haidilao, but my first time at this location, so I thought I had an idea of what to expect, but boy was I wrong. I came at 9 pm sharp to join the waitlist for their Sunday Meat o'Clock special, and was quoted a 40 minute wait. 1 hour and 20 minutes later, we were finally seated. Luckily, we were given an ipad during the last 10 minutes of our wait to pre-order some food. I believe if we hadn't been given this, we wouldn't have gotten any food at all. We got to the table, and our vegetables and soups were waiting for us. It looked promising. We ordered off of the meat o'clock menu, and then began waiting. We started off with 2x beef, 2x pork, and 1 fish. 15 minutes later, 1 plate of beef and the fish came. And then.... NOTHING!!!! NOTHING FOR 45 MINUTES!!!!!! Haidilao, how is this acceptable? I understand it was busy, but we are paying customers all the same. My wife and I watched as other tables got their food in a timely manner, while we stared at the timer counting down. It took 45 minutes before a waiter finally realized that we had been waiting for ages. Finally, the rest of our meat came.. except they somehow still messed up our order. They brought out 3x pork and 1x fish. That tells me that someone was not doing their job properly that night. Furthermore, the meat that they brought out was of extremely poor quality. It was extremely chewy and was honestly difficult to eat. Extremely, extremely disappointed. I'm never returning ever again. 差强人意.
