Wanted to grab a bite to eat with a drink. Pie Tap was a good choice. I chose the charcuterie board and my wife chose the chicken Caesar salad. The food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. Will return again to try the pizzas, which looked amazing.
Really wish we had one of these in Colorado. Exceptional dining experience. We are in town on a business meeting and had the pleasure of eating here. The food is amazing. The restaurant was clean. The staff was pleasant. Overall one of the best pizza's I've had. Food: 5/5 - Had the pepperoni pizza and garlic knots. The house made ranch was a great pairing. Service: 5/5 - Just ordered water to drink but it was never empty even with them setting a jug on the table, still never had to refill my own drink. Cleanliness: 5/5 - Table, chairs, area was very clean. Bathroom was spotless. Atmosphere: This is a trendy place that invites people from all walks of life. Very inviting and very professional. Value: The prices are a direct representative of flavor. You pay for what you get and at Pie Tap, we were given delicious flavor that is well worth the money.
I had the honey truffle chicken sandwich and it was superb! Justin was amazing at getting us drinks. Rachel greeted us and got us taken care of quickly. Will be back
This was my first time in Dallas and as an avid “bruncher” I was wanting something both tasteful and booze forward. Pie Tap, was the perfect blend of the two. My server Maria was so informative of the menu and made sure we had everything we needed. A great experience over all!
Artsy outpost of a cool, local, Dallas-area pizza and wine/beer bar. Fresh fired pizza, salad, sandwiches, and apps. Solid range of independent craft beer from around Dallas. Convivial atmosphere, but also room for groups to be more private. Parking is tough (not eligible for valet), but free. Classy!
We had an amazing experience here. Joncarlo and the rest of the team greeted us with a smile. The service was on-point, the ambience was clean and modern. The food was amazing. We had the Sunday brunch chicken biscuit as well as the Workshop salad and the salami pie. We cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you for your hospitality and delicious food!
Super slammed on a Sunday we ordered Pizza and pasta the server checked w my girl and *unfortunately the pasta was cold as it was from a different section of kitchen awaiting the pizza (perfection margarita) amd MARIA checked w her......while my girl was ok w the cold pasta, I spoke up....Amanda the manager insisted on a NEW DISH!!! WOWEWEEE! This restaurant makes sense. Everything perfect...Have yet to find proper restaurants on 2025...zero hate from staff. 2025 we have been conditioned to have crap food crap service and DEAL W IT......NOT HERE!!! I am SURPRISED!!! HELLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AM I CRAZY HERE? NAH......This is what PROPER SERVICE FEELS LIKE. Proper service has been so long it feels like Fantasia....wow!!!! 2 amazing humans MARIA and Amanda!!! Mic DROP!!!
We had such a great experience thanks to our wonderful waitress, Maria! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. You can tell she really cares about her guests. Thank you, Maria, for taking care of us!
The service is professional and personal . I enjoyed the unique appetizer called the lollipop wings . Incredible taste and delicious. And the Caesar salad is the best I’ve ever enjoyed with a light citrus taste . I also order the chocolate pecan cake . Which I felt was not a good as it sounded . I’ll definitely return
I went there for the first time. I had a great experience. Kathryn was my server. She was very nice. Went into detail about the menu and about the deals. Definitely would recommend their happy hour and their Wednesdays. Great experience.
Our waiter was Casey, he was friendly, personable, attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the veggie pizza (excellent) and the bbq chicken pizza (which has many layers of flavors and needed more chicken). The beers were really good & the chicken meatballs were moist. The bread that came with the meatballs was delicious (served toasted and buttered). I'd return again thanks to the tasty pies and great service and reasonable prices.
This place has the perfect combination of: nice environment, good attention and delicious food. For snack we tried the spiedini, and I had the Prosciutto Pie ( flavour combination was insane!) Ingredients were so fresh and had a good presentation. For drinking, I had a cocktail called Frose, perfect when it's boiling hot. You should be careful on Fridays because is always crowd, so try to not going so starving :) (I visited the Design District location)
This is *the* place to be for brunch if you care about quality and bold, memorable flavors. Every dish was delicious, and the cinnamon rolls are an absolute must….they’re huge, indulgent, and perfect for sharing. The entire experience felt relaxed and enjoyable, making it a great spot to unwind and catch up with friends. A brunch destination worth returning to again and again.
Why is this place not PACKED!!??? Pie Tap is one of the best experiences I've had with pizza in a LONG time. The prosciutto pie was a monument to delicious. The staff was exceptional, and their house-made 4 layer chocolate cake is.... wow. It should be impossible for food to taste this good. And the dipping sauces for the pizza crust!!??? Genius! Go. Go now. They have locations throughout Texas, including Houston. Get to one ASAP. Also, their rosemary lemonade is something special.
My kids and I went to the location on Oak Lawn. When we were seated it took a little longer than we expected to be waited on, but Destiny, who is a Corporate Trainer, made up for it by being apologetic for our wait and extremely attentive. We appreciated her commitment to a great experience at the restaurant, and I hope management knows they have a STAR in Destiny, and I hope she's being taking care of accordingly. She's the kind of professional that will lead to loyal customers. The food and drinks were great as well! Well done and thank you Destiny!!
We went here today to dine in for 6 people. It was lunch but they were not that busy so we were seated pretty quickly. We ordered within 5 minutes, I ordered the Salami Pizza. In all we ordered 2 pizzas, 1 hamburger, 2 salads, and 1 half and half, sandwiches/salad. The kitchen seemed over welled and took a long time to start serving our order. Funny thing is the pizzas were served first then the hamburger. About 5 minutes later the 2 salads were finally served, and another 5 minutes the half and half was finally served. The waitress was great, as well as the food, hot, presentation, and taste. The only 2 bad things are they need to learn how to server the food together not over a 10 minute period, and it’s lunch time, it should not take over an hour to eat there when your not that busy.
This place was incredible. The pizza was packed with flavor and the pastas were outstanding. The bar had an impressive lineup of craft beers and creative cocktails that made it hard to choose. The staff went above and beyond with their professionalism and kindness. The atmosphere was spotless, stylish, and welcoming. I highly recommend this spot. I can’t wait to come back.
Maria took amazing care of us during brunch. She was warm, professional, and made the entire experience feel special. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she checked on us at the perfect moments. Truly fantastic service!
Pie Tap pizza is an amazing and unique place to be. It is definitely not your everyday run-of-the-mill pizza joint. It is actually a mix between a laid back spot and a fancy restaurant. The wait staff are amazingly helpful and intelligent in the menu and how the place is operated. Our server for the night was Freddie, amazing dude and super nice. The food just happens to be the best pizza I've had, very fresh, very tasty, and very unique. The lemon pepper chicken wings were something I have never seen before and were very tasty as well. All the drinks were served in a simple yet stylish glass and as the waiter came by to refill the drinks, including the wines and beers they were carried in a fashionable beaker or glass container that was definitely not like your normal pitchers that you are used to seeing. Doesn't sound like it is a big deal however that small addition just added to the culture of the restaurant. Great place, great food, great staff, great ambience.
Ate here for dinner and had a wonderful experience. Our waitress was very on top of things and the meal was great. I started with the arancini and it was crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside. Loved that it came in a plate of sauce. I usually order the garlic knots, but going forward, will be ordering the arancini instead. I split the workshop salad with my partner and it was enough for two people. The flavor was on the acidic side, but was otherwise very fresh and all the ingredients worked well together. I ordered the salami pizza as the entree (also to split). This is the item I usually order and it came out exactly as expected. If I was visiting on my own, I would probably order the pizza without the sausage (not a fan of that flavor as much, really like the salami and bacon). For dessert, I ordered the housemade doughnuts with honey. It came with a lot more than I expected. It was sweet and soft. I give the atmosphere 4 stars because this isn't my first time here and in the past, when I've been seated near the doors, it is drafty, especially during the winter.
Incredible GF pizza and the freshest most delicious salad! Love it. Try it! Staff was fantastic and attentive. My kids did not like the rosemary lemonade but otherwise we loved everything! 🍕❤️
Chloe and Tyler were super nice and helpful. Great food, good music and service. The parking seems weird but there’s just multiple ways to enter into the plaza. There’s patio seating outside and plenty bar space and tables inside but dont overwhelm these friendly people with a conference luncheon nothing huge like that lol. I will be coming back to try some pasta next.
Trying to keep it low carb,I tried their Mediterranean salad with rotisserie chicken. It was delicious and the chicken was very tasty. Also, if you like Old Fashions, give their smoked Old Fashions a try.
Our server/bartender Justin was an absolute boss! First time in, and we took him up on all of his suggestions and did not disappoint in the least. The management team came by to check on us as well which is always a bonus. That was just the service. The food we had was top tier. Chicken pizza with the pizza bones dipping sauces was mega dope. Mixed the hot honey and goat cheese fondue at Justin's suggestion. Breh. Wonderfully run restaurant. I can see why they're doing so well.
Never been here for brunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and costs of the drinks. I loved the small slice of pizza in the Blood Mary. It was a nice touch. The food options were also fun. We ate inside, but the patio also looked nice. There's something for everyone. I'll be back.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food & atmosphere !! Maria was our waiter this was my first time here ! She explained the menu and was frequent on checking up on us ! She was very professional !! Farrari made me a delicious mocktail & his service was to the upmost of professional !!
I’m from out of town and came in just out of the blue. I drove by and saw this pizza bar place. Walked right in and greeted and seated me right away. I’m glad he came in. It was really great and pizza was so delicious. I met Trey, the manager, and he was super cool. Nice staff, delicious food, upbeat atmosphere equals super nice time. Thanks Pie Tap😀👍
Incredible food and service. This gem is just a few minutes from down town. Inviting atmosphere welcomes you to dine inside, outside and at low top or high top tables. Tonight we enjoyed their Prosciutto appetizer and a chicken pie (pizza). The appetizer was salty and filling even through it was just two skewers worth. Still very good and we highly recommend. The chicken pie was an upgraded version of a chicken BBQ pizza. And the cilantro on it is such a great touch. Happy hour discounts on drinks throughout the week! Highly recommend trying this place out! And don’t forget to try their ranch for your “pizza bones”!
Loved every bit of it, this was saved on my Dallas brunch list and I'm glad I was able to try it. Made a last minute reservation with the family before brunch ended at 3PM and was able to get out drinks ordered in time for the brunch special. Their knots were amazing with the parmesan and butter, we also ordered the chicken pizza without chicken and bacon. Everything was fresh, ended up staying there for a few hours since we had tons of drinks for 3 people 🙂
Maria was my server!!! She was very great. She was welcoming and very attentive!! I will be coming back. The food and service was superb. Most of all, my son ate all is food lol !!
Pie Tap was good stop for dinner. They were able to sit us on the patio with our two dogs. Our waitress Teri was very friendly and attentive. We had the Cesar salad. The flavor was good but it was too chunky for my taste. Cutting the huge leaves would have been better. Pizza was so good and we opted for the dipping sauces and they didnt disappoint.
So we visited from NC, were starved, so we stopped for a quick lunch and were NOT disappointed! Our waiter knew the menu and shared some great tidbits. The pizza dough is made with simply 4 ingredients and the flavors of the pizza were splendidly complex. One of the best things on the menu was the half pizza half salad option for lunch! We started with the garlic knots and they’re not your typical knot folks. They’re homemade with some kind of whipped cheese concoction 😋. Don’t think Hawaiian rolls, more sourdough consistency, just homemade bread garlic goodness. For the pizza I had pepperoni and added sausage which was absolutely ahhmazzzing paired with a Caesar salad! If you’re thinking of eating in a great atmosphere with good food and service, stop here!! This has to be a local favorite! Wish I could pick it up and drop it in NC! Can’t wait to try the wings for dinner! We will be back before we leave!
Came here for a chill dinner and Andrew was awesome! The margherita pizza is delicious. And the garlic bread puffs are amazing! Great customer service from Andrew & great attitude! (You can tell he loves his job). Gave out very helpful suggestions! Will be back with my wife . Make sure to ask for Andrew!
HIGHLY recommend! We came by simply because it was close to the hotel but it was a very nice surprise and everything was amazing and fresh! Oscar was so nice and Took care of as well. everything was so good that we will actually be coming back for dinner!
It was my first time ever trying Pie Tap and it was soooo good! Definitely a favorite from now on for Pizza. Their Crispy Chicken Salad is to die for and sooo refreshing. The Chicken Pie was also very good and the bread that it’s made of is soo good! The service was great as well! We got their sparkling wine “The Betty”. Overall 10/10 for everything.
Best Margharita pizza I have ever had! I also ordered the chicken meatballs which I wasn't huge on(not bad just didn't hit my personal mark) but the sauce & bread that came with them were really tasty. Disappointed that when I showed up around 1pm on a Saturday that they're only serving the brunch menu... the only reason I picked this place on Google maps was because I saw a bunch of pasta pictures. Which I guess they don't serve till 3pm 😑. So that started my experience off on the wrong foot but the pizza made up for it. I was served by Dre at the bar, he was awesome. Dre offered his apologies about the menu/pasta and then made some great suggestions that could fill that void. Which again that Margherita pizza!!! Yum yum yum!! Thanks Dre!!
We enjoyed everything we ordered. Our kids loved the food too. The service (Marvin was our server) was excellent. The manager stopped by just to make sure everything was good. We wish we lived closer to come more often. Great pizza, great beer and wine, great chicken, terrific doughnuts!
Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar came highly recommended so I had to give it a try on my visit. The pie was delicious and I could get two different selections in one pie. Great selection of cocktails and beer. Nice patio area. There are multiple locations around Dallas so go check it out.
The food was amazing. Service was incredible Oscar was very knowledgeable when it came to the menu He answered all the questions we had. Food was fresh. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Definitely coming back for dinner.
Food is always excellent! Tonight, our server Maria was an absolute delight and took great care of us. In general, it gets pretty noisy and the timing for food/drinks is slow-paced, whether or not it’s busy. Still, we make it a point to come back when we’re not in a rush.
This place is a total vibe. We got 3 pizzas on happy hour. Two pepperoni pizzas and one margarita pizza. The dough is legit and only use 4 ingredients for their dough which is what you want. We spent around $50 and got 3 pizzas, 2 margaritas and 2 beers. For the quality of pizza it’s totally worth it. Will be back! Also they are very dog friendly.
What an awesome stop before heading out of town! The pizza had us literally drooling and already craving more before we even left—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The beverages were spot on and paired great with the food. Service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The patio was a huge bonus—great atmosphere, comfortable seating, and a perfect place to relax and unwind. Between the amazing pizza, great drinks, excellent service, and awesome patio, this place checks all the boxes. Definitely coming back next time we’re in Dallas! 🍕🍻
We got on Friday for dinner and we have a great time!!! Was our first time and we got Maria as our server. I was having dinner with my dad and we have the same thought that Maria is the kind of server that everyone would like to have, she has so good energy, so patient, she went explaining all the menu for us and I recommend a lot requesting her as a server! Our prosciutto pizza was so good! Thank you Maria for making the experience memorable!!! Cheers for more servers as you! Remember that is “always a pleasure” 😍👌🏼
Great food and great service gabby at the bar was very knowledgeable and helped me pick a great pizza and drink. Pineapple habenero margarita? YUM. My partner got the gnocchi and both were very good. Can't wait to return and try other things. BEAUTIFUL place inside and out.
This was my first time eating here! We arrived during Brunch hours. That staff was very friendly and welcoming. I don't remember our waiters name. However he was very patient and informative! He described everything on the menu and pointed out the most ordered dishes. The garlic bread he suggested was to die for!!!!! You absolutely must try them. We ordered the bread, drinks, 2 pizzas and parmesan chicken. Another young lady by the name of Rachel was great as well. She engaged in conversation with us, and was very sweet and friendly! I would give my overall experience a 10/10. They use fresh ingredients, and EVERYTHING was Hot and Fresh.
Today we get there for brunch and we have a great experience this time than the last one, we came because one of our friends told as that Maria was the best server and he wasn't wrong! Maria was amazing! She was all the time taking care about us, she is so professional and our drinks were all the time full, this time our experience was better than the last one and I will like to say that Pie tap have the best server. She is the only one that helps you putting the food in the boxes, cleaning the table, changing plates and silvers, I have no words to say just thank you Maria for making this time my family experience so great and amazing!
I love the lunch specials at this place! I started working in the Design District in August and needed to find a nice meal at an affordable price. The first time I called in an order, I spoke with Rachel. She was so friendly and made the ordering process so easy. When I arrived she greeted me with and enthusiastic "Hi!" I have even started to dine-in, once or twice. The Prosciutto pizza is one-of-a-kind. You must try. I will always come back and visit Rachel and the team.:)
Came in from out of town looking for dinner, and was immediately sat down. Dre was a great waiter and went through the menu with us before we even asked! The food was absolutely incredible— we had the cesar salad and a pizza (half salami and half prosciutto). We loved the pizza crust and thought the flavors blended together so well! Maria (executive chef) also came by to say hello and was incredibly kind to us during our dining experience. She also introduced us to her homemade (aka the best) cinnamon rolls and donuts and we loved them!!! Not too sweet, and the dough was perfect!! Highly recommend this place!! We will definitely be back very soon :)
Absolutely fantastic experience at Pie Tap on Oak Lawn in Dallas. The hospitality alone is worth the visit. Rachel and Justin went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we walked in. They were attentive, friendly, and clearly take pride in what they do. The service felt warm, personal, and effortless, which made the meal even better. You can tell this location is well run and customer focused. We will absolutely be back, highly recommend.
I’m not a professional foodie but I’ve been here enough times to know they’re doing something right. I usually grab-and-go, but this time I actually sat at the bar to wait for my takeout. Since I was in no hurry, I ordered an Old Fashioned. Let me tell y'all, it was life-changing. It was so good I’m pretty sure Don Draper would give a silent nod of approval after that first sip. So if you’re looking for good pie, the salami and prosciutto split is the move. But do yourself a favor and sit at the bar. I didn't catch the bartender's name, so look for the sharp-dressed fella with a killer beard. If he's back there, you’ve officially won the evening.
Pizza, People, and a Pinch of Magic! 🍕✨ We came to the Pie Tap in the Design District looking for lunch, but we left with a core memory! While the food was absolutely delicious (as always), the service was what truly blew our minds. We sat at the tall counter—which is already exciting enough, watching the team toss the dough—but the staff immediately went above and beyond. They noticed my daughter watching and gave her some extra dough to play with. But it didn't stop there! The chef actually came out and gave her a personal lesson on how to form the dough into a pizza. It was such a sweet, kind interaction that made her feel like a total star. To top it all off, they even gave her a piece of dough to take home! It is rare to find such a warm, inviting refuge in the middle of a busy city. Thank you to the incredible team for the delicious food and the unforgettable kindness. We will be back soon!
Maria is the best waitress we’ve ever had. She’s so personable, and she’s the reason we came back here two days in a row. The food is also unbelievable and the closest thing to authentic Italian food I’ve ever had in Dallas. Garlic bread with whipped ricotta, insane delicious pizzas, and pasta made from scratch. Doesn’t get any better. Everything is made in house and tastes SOOO good. No notes PieTap. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Not much for atmosphere but the food is good. The garlic rosemary cheese puffs are excellent. The arancini are good but the meatballs were just ok. The pasta carbonate was disappointing as I did not see any pepper on it. The pizzas are very good. Particularly recommend the mushroom pizza. Loved it. The bar was good with large varied beer list and small but decent wine list although they were out of my first choice. Would definitely recommend
Elevated pizza, beer and cocktails concept. Differentiation is the twin oven cranking up the heat on a special prep on the dough. End result is very good execution on crust and using all natural ingredients make it complete win. We kicked it off with a Caeser salad that was perfectly executed proper amount dressed romaine with homemade croutons and full cuts of grana predano. Our pizza choices were mushroom which featured a cracked egg and caramelized onions making it unique and a great flavor profile. The chicken was a spin on BBq, good but not great the acid from the peppocini a little strong. Hand graded parmesan a nice touch. Drinks were on point with the spicy margarita hitting the right notes. Definitely worth a second visit for a deeper dive into the menu.
We had such a nice evening at Pie Tap. Our server, Marvin, was awesome - really friendly and easy to talk to. The Margherita pizza and Mediterranean salad were both so good, and the chocolate cake was rich and delicious. Even though we got there close to closing, no one rushed us, and we felt really comfortable just enjoying our meal. Great food, great service, and a really nice vibe overall.
We were here visiting Dallas and was searching for some good pizza and we found it Pie Tap was a great place to pick up some good pizza some amazing bread and a salad. We did not spend much time inside. We ate out on the balcony because it was beautiful outside. If you’re in the Dallas area, you should stop by Pat tap and Give them a try.
We sat outside and probably should have sat inside. Regardless, our server was wonderful and very attentive to our party of 13. We ordered several of the menu options. We highly recommend the spicy chicken sandwich and some of the pastas. We came with kids and it was so easy and fun.
Been coming here since 2018. Always hits the spot. I will forever always get the Goat Cheese Fondue with Spicy Pepper Jam. Martin and Liz were so amazing. We had ordered something new to try and we weren’t the biggest fans and they were very accommodating and receptive of our feedback. Liz even stayed to chat with us while they made the Pepperoni pizza being made fresh for us. I got the spicy rigatoni and cesear salad. Great lunch special and great happy hour and brunch deals. Always a 10/10. GO HERE! The flavors and fresh ingredients are worth every dime and penny spent. Great service and great atmosphere.
Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar on Oak Lawn Avenue in Dallas has a modern, casual setting with an open concept and lively bar area that makes it a popular spot for a relaxed meal. During a lunch visit. I ordered the Half Pie & Salad combo with a pepperoni pizza and added extra cheese for an additional $2. When the pizza arrived, I noticed only a light drizzle of mozzarella on top—far from what I expected for the extra charge. When I placed the order I asked the server about what “extra cheese” actually entailed and she gave a vague shrug when I asked if the pizzas typically came cheesy or more on the average side. While the crust was well done and the ingredients fresh, the lack of cheesiness was disappointing. That I had to ask for extra shredded Parmesan. Additionally, our server, who initially seemed a bit standoffish and disengaged, eventually warmed up after some friendly conversation at the bar, which improved the overall tone of the service. One inconvenience during the visit was that one of the restrooms were out of order, leaving only one unisex restroom available. I generally don’t enjoy using restrooms that are unisex, in my experience they usually have an unpleasant odor, which was unfortunately the case here. While the environment was visually appealing and the food was good, a few service and facility issues kept the experience from being a 5 star.
Service is always fantastic. Atmosphere is very modern and very chill, overall a great place to meet with people for breakfast. I got the blueberry pancake, which is massive and super delicious. I would recommend coming here to visit and eat. Everything is tasty there and the service is always great. Look forward to coming back!
Pie Tap makes excellent pizzas and salads. That’s not new news. But did you know they also have an amazing brunch until 3:00pm on Sundays? The French toast makes you go “hmmm” with each bite. The chicken and waffles hit the savory-sweet combo perfectly and the portion is large enough for you to take some home to enjoy later. And on the pizza front, the bbq chicken pizza with the peppers was delicious. The bottom line is that Pie Tap knows dough and they combine ingredients with the right amount of restraint to create outstanding pizzas.
Decent spot to enjoy a good pizza indoors or outdoors. Indoor area was a little crowded so we went outside where they have misters behind fans and awnings to keep you cool. My pizza, the margarita, was okay but could've had more flavor in the sauce and could've been cooked slightly longer. Altogether though I had a pleasant experience and the employees are very nice
Service and food were fantastic. We had the Prosciutto pizza and the chicken pizza. Prosciutto was truly special and the crust is just phenomenal. We sat outside on a beautiful night and it was great as long as we didn't have food in front of us. When the food came, the flies swarmed in on us immediately. It was wild and quite unpleasant. When the food was taken away after we finished, the flies disappeared. Service was wonderful and quick, checking in and making sure we always had drinks and empty plates cleared. I'm not sure what can be done about the flies but if they could address this issue, it would get 5 stars from me.
Great pizza with an industrial chic vibe. Craft cocktails, good beer selection. Parking is no bueno. Get there early or plan to use their valet. The bathrooms are nice and clean. This place can get pretty loud with even a half filled restaurant. Service is usually good. I suggest sitting far away from the door if it's cold outside, the draft from the opening door (front or patio) will leave a lingering chill. The pizza is gourmet, with interesting toppings like prosciutto, fig, goat cheese, Sunnyside up eggs. The crust is thin and we always get the goat cheese fondue for the pizza crust edges. (Please give me a thumbs up if you found this review helpful.)
I really enjoyed my visit here. The staff was great, super nice, helpful, and inviting. I loved the ambience and aesthetics of the restaurant. The veggie pizza was my fave and the margherita pizza was lacking in flavor. Their drinks were delicious as well. I will definitely be back to try more menu items. I found the prices to be reasonable and the staff did an awesome job maintaining a clean facility. The only thing is, I had a tough time finding parking. 👍
The Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar on Oaklawn was delicious with good service. We came for brunch on a Sunday and we were glad we had reservations because the place was packed. We started off with a blackberry mimosa carafe which was tasty. We then ordered a margherita pizza for us, a custom pizza for pizza for the kids and some fries. Our waitress was great and had our food to us promptly. Everything in the order tasted great but the custom pizza had to be sent back 3 times until they made it right. They comped us some house made donuts, which the kids loved. While we waited for the donuts we ordered another regular mimosa carafe which hit the spot. Overall everything was great and we will be returning for brunch if we are in the area. Food 5/5 Service 4/5 Atmosphere 4/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Parking 4/5
We've spent a long time trying to find a good brunch spot & have good pizza. It has a nice layout & vibe. Our waitress very nice & attentive. Our food came in at good times & was hot. Even the manager came & checked on us while we were eating. We enjoyed everything that we ordered & well be back to try more things on the menu. They are a little on the pricey side, but you're getting quality food.
I made the mistake of ordering chicken at a pizza place. I saw that it was featured on the menu and i felt like having a half Chicken. It was extremely dry. I couldn’t eat it. The service was great. I really liked that the bar tender asked me if there was “anything that could make my experience better”. That’s a nice way to ask. That was before i tried the chicken but i’m not a big complainer. I just won’t go back for that. They did offer me a $10 coupon which i appreciate in a way but, It’s not really what you want to hear when the product is bad. It’s better to offer another item or something similar. I understand a coupon that when it’s a service issue. Oh well.
Decent prices, but not a lot of variety. The pizza toppings tasted great, but there were a little amount. The crust to topping ratio felt a little off. Not many gluten free options unless you want to pay $3-4 more. I ordered the Mediterranean salad and I felt it needed some more greens. Not really a $13 salad worth. It was labeled GF but I couldn't eat the bread provided, it took up 1/3 of the plate.
Came here with soem coworkers and had a very disappointing experience. Pie tap had been recommended to us by some locals, so we went to check it out. We only had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat, but after that, the service and food were quite lacking. We ordered our drinks first, and we waited about 15 minutes to get water. We promptly ordered our food after since we were pretty hungry. We ordered garlic knots, salad to share, and a pizza to share. 30 minutes passed, and there was no food. Then we started to see seats around us that were sat after us getting food similar to what we ordered to their tables . Our server told us the food would be coming out soon several times. Then, finally, at 45 minutes, the garlic knots came. Then another 20 minutes later, the salad and another 15 minutes later, then pizza. We all were convinced at this point our server forgot to put in our order because all the tables near us that she was a server for had their appetizers and pizzas but were sat after. The garlic knots were bland, salad was extremely overdressed, and the pizza was not very impressive either.
First time patron!! I had the veggie pie, add marinara, rotisserie chicken, & caramelized onions & a frozé. They left the pesto and lemon zest off chicken was dry and scarce, plus there was only a couple pieces of broccolini! The crust was the best part along with my chimichuri sauce & spicy banana peppers from home that added needed flavor & spice!! I will dine in and give them a second try, the Chef in me can tell by this delicious dough that maybe my pizza was rushed..
One out of five for having plenty of parking but the valet puts cones in front of the spot and forces you to use them. Pizza is usually fine, but we didn’t go in because of the valet.
