Fourth time here at Hunky's, and it keeps delivering! The burgers are consistently delicious, the prices are great, and the service is fantastic. On this visit, my milkshake was a bit thin, but the staff handled it right away without any hassle and made it perfect. It’s that kind of attention to detail and friendly service that keeps me coming back. Highly recommend!

It was a happy accident and Google sending me down a different route that I discovered Hunky's Old Fashioned Hamburgers. All I can say is thank you Google! I am always chasing the cheeseburger of my youth and this place delivered 100% The bun was fresh, the lettuce and tomato garden fresh, the cheese melted to perfection and topped with one of the juiciest tasting burgers I've had in a long time. It was real not what some corporation thinks a burger should taste like. No matter where you live this place is worth a visit. They have an amazing menu(included in my pics) and homemade onion rings that would make your grandmother jealous! And as if that's not enough they have fantastic shakes AND cakes!!! Will I go back? Most definitely! 10 out of 10 recommend.

It’s a classic burger! I got the Double Double with all the fixings and onion rings. The meat is seasoned and the bun is perfection, toasted and soft. They don’t make them like this anymore! Delicious! Atmosphere is okay. The floors need a little love but the customer service more than makes up for it. It’s inclusive and LGBTQIA+ friendly. Great price as well.

This place is exactly what we were looking for in an old fashion burger joint in today's world. Very good burger, simple basic good quality ingredients. Everything was hot and fresh, the oil was definitely fresh, the onion rings are thick and juicy but crisp on the outside. The jalapeno poppers have half a pepper and melted yellow cheese, perfectly fried. We also shared a strawberry milkshake and it was spot on!!! I have 0 complaints, the staff was so kind and helpful as well. Super fast and friendly service, lgbtq+ friendly, and they had some really yummy looking cake, we took a piece to go. I'm definitely gonna be returning here. Parking in the back of the building and handicap accessible ramp. Chris was the guy running the register, and he is amazing, Customer Service 👏 ❤️

It’s my own fault for coming to a burger joint and not ordering a burger… but I wasn’t a fan of the club sandwich. Fries were great. Great vibe with nice outdoor seating! (I’ll update review when I try a burger…)

Service has always been great and their food is excellent... but this time the person at the Register taking my order made me feel I was bothering him and rushed me to do my order, rolling his eyes when I asked a question about a menu item. There was just one person in line behind us so it is not like I was holding the line... They had a good crowd, so, maybe he was tired or his shift was about to end or maybe he was having a bad day...

Stopped in for a quick dinner here Saturday night. We were both craving burgers post-workout class. I had The Bear (triple cheeseburger) with a cookies n’ cream milkshake. My girlfriend opted for The Double Double and a chocolate milkshake. We also split a large order of onion rings. First of all, the total was $42, which for the amount of food we had, felt like a steal. Second, our food was ready in less than 10 minutes. The burgers and milkshakes were good, but the highlight for me were the onion rings. Beer battered, and as big as your hand, these onion rings kick ass. Unfortunately, I do have to dock a star because while I requested no mustard on my burger, there was mustard. Regardless Hunky’s is a solid diner joint - quick, greasy, and easy.

This was a great find as this food is right up my alley and very difficult to find around the Dallas area. My order was a hotdog, grilled cheese, fries, chocolate shake, 2 pieces of cake and a tall glass of milk. Everything is of the highest quality, great value for the money and leaves you wanting for more. The cakes are epic, and such a great visual when walking in. The reason for the only 4-stars is because the staff is not very warm or converstional. When you make fun little comments or ask questions, it seems as an inconvenience- or at least it did on this day. Yummy feel-good food, still recommending, but realize it's a much less social experience. Chicken Fried Steak sandwich, Chicken Cordon Blue sandwich, Bacon Cheeseburger, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, fries and the sliced in front you cake are really good. Their prices were pretty decent but they recently updated their menu to add/remove some items and of course bump those prices up a few bucks. The staff can be a little emotionally driven sometimes & can be kinda rude but the food is worth it. There's street parking in front of the building on Cedar Springs and there's a parking lot behind the building, just take Throckmorton & you'll see the parking lot. Make sure to try a slice of cake too!

Solid 4... We ordered the Honey mustard chicken and the Hawaiian chicken sandwiches. Just stopped in for a quick bite. My Hawaiian chicken sandwich had 2 thin chicken breasts, pineapple, bacon, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and a toasted bun. Now to my palate and taste buds were satisfied but not overwhelmed. It was okay. With that said, I would not mind coming back and trying other sandwiches. If you are in the area (we were for a show) and need a bite to eat. It's a good shot.

I normally order a Hunky’s salad. This time I substituted a beyond burger for chicken breast or turkey burger. That was like $6 up charge. Salad came with over-ripe tomatoes and plate liner size lettuce leaves. Need to focus on lettuce prep!

Update: they reached out, and said they’d be in touch, but have gotten no response back. So now 1 star. Was craving a burger but the website says online ordering is unavailable, at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. Are they closed? Nope! Also can’t seem to pay with a Hunkys gift card online either, as I tried the other location to order from instead. Oh well. Guess no burgers for me.

The service was absolutely amazing everyone I came in contact with was super friendly. The food was not good the fries were dry and hard I didn't finish them My burger ( blue cheese burger) was flat out gross the blue cheese and bun was wet and mushy the meat was very flavorless and I will not be going back!

Cashier grabbed the roach off the counter so quickly as if it was a crumbled dollar someone dropped. As if he was use to seeing roaches in that restaurant. So that's gross, and he just continued to take the next order like it was nothing. I had already taken the picture, I would have canceled my little order and got my money back, but I don't like the problems that come with it. So it was a thumbs down for me all around..food, service, atmosphere.
