I’ll definitely be back! The music and vibe is a 10/10. The service is spectacular! I had an issue with the temperature of my food and they didn’t hesitate to fix the issue. Not gonna lie the food was mid but still good. I tried the fried green tomatoes and seafood stuffed flounder, both were good. Looking forward to going during Golden hour to try more items on the menu!

Went here with my husband for dinner last night, and while I was left speechless, I am going to try to explain here how extraordinary my dining experience was. From the kind, unpretentious welcome we received at the front door and with every interaction with the staff that followed, to the DJ, to the general good vibes, to the perfectly balanced cocktails, to last but certainly not least THE FOOD, I am in a hurry to come back. Thank you to the staff there for an outstanding meal, wonderful service, and a great night. I can’t wait to come back!
The restaurant is beautiful & has great vibes. Ashley was our waitress. She was very sweet & accommodating. She told us about the restaurant & even gave us a tour of the lounge area & showed us the patio. I plan to go back for my birthday celebration & will ask for her specifically.
Went here for my 40th birthday. 10/10 recommend. Music and Dj was on really on point. Food was delicious. Waiter was really positive and welcoming towards customer. Alejandro Lopez aka Dro was the waiter and went over and beyond. Drinks were delicious and you could taste the liquor: I had the strawberry Daiquari and the Naked Lady. I do recommend valet because you will be right there at the door instead of trying to find street parking.
From start to finish, this dining experience delivered. The food was consistently flavorful and well-executed, and the overall ambiance added to the appeal. Our evening began with a delightful selection of appetizers: the **lobster roll** and **coconut shrimp**. The coconut shrimp were undeniably the highlight of the starters—perfectly crispy, golden-brown, and bursting with flavor. We were so impressed that we ended up ordering a second round, which is always a testament to how good something truly is. The **lobster roll**, while slightly overshadowed by the shrimp, was still a solid offering. For the main course, we had two standout dishes. First, the **blackened chicken pasta**, though we substituted the chicken for shrimp. The second dish we tried was the **catfish with crawfish gravy**, though we swapped out the grits for mashed potatoes. The atmosphere was another strong point of the evening. The restaurant had a relaxed yet lively vibe, creating a perfect setting for an enjoyable night out.
I stumbled into this place by accident but happy I did. Be warned, there is a dress code but once you’re inside you’ll understand why! Food was phenomenal, drinks were incredible and staff were amazing! I had the lamb and wagyu meatballs which were to die for! The sauce was on point and it came with toasted breadsticks! I tried the lobster rolls which were also a top pick. The environment here is something else, clearly a lot of love went into designing this place. The drinks were in a league of their own here. I tried the applewood smoked old fashion, which is smoked right in front of you, very nice presentation! Also tried the two hats blues, which I have to say, it is dangerously good! The manager told me this specific drinks ingredients are aged for three weeks prior to serving, and it shows, 10/10! This place has it all, the food is great and so are the drinks and the staff! Everyone has been very attentive, I even got to chat with the manager Inmer for a bit. He took the time to show me around the place, including the private speakeasy style lounge area that can be rented for private events and the super cool wine display which was such a nice and elegant touch. Even the restrooms were incredible! Also had a super cool liquor display, and a sitting/waiting couch, the stalls were very spacious and elegant. It was a breath of fresh air talking to the manager and seeing someone who genuinely loves their job, treats this staff well, and can make you feel at home. The staff really took care of me, can’t wait to show off this hidden gem off to my circle! Edit 6/28/24 decided to come back out on a Friday and bring my lady after the manager Inmer had recommended me to check out their nightlife scene. I must say he was right; this place is Popping!! It’s a hot spot for sure, plenty of beautiful and happy people and great atmosphere. Inmer runs a tight ship! Even on a busy night! Kuddos to you and the team again. So Firstly we had to eat, and I have to recommend everyone try the fried green tomatoes!! Omg I just about gobbled them all up myself! Finger licking good! 12/10 these are done right and to perfection! The crispy Brussels were also very tasty, and the garlic aioli that they are smothered in is a great choice! I had to order some sauce on the side I couldn’t get enough, perfect blends of flavors! 10/10 Tried the lobster Mac and cheese, it is a great twist to your tradition mac and cheese, flavorful, cheesy, and with lobster! Yum!! 10/10 The spicy chicken penne was also one of those that had a great creamy sauce and was delish! 10/10. The shrimp scampi is one of my top choices, once again, the sauce!! This place needs to be known for their sauces ! Every single sauce they make and put on every single dish is unique and in a league of its own. The shrimp scampi sauce didn’t disappoint. 12/10! I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu, this place is phenomenal, and again, their sauces!!!! On my Next edit I will add new dishes. And hopefully get more insight on their sauces!
Initially, there was a little snafu with our reservation (the hosts) and wait time…and once Chris Jackson, GM, became aware…it was an entirely different situation. Please note that he did not rest until we had a truly great dining experience! Our waitress (Ashley) was so good! She was intuitive, attentive, and was overall on point! I’m so glad that we chose this restaurant as a part of my special occasion! The food was great…we ordered: LAMB & WAGYU BEEF MEATBALLS, HONEY-STUNG FRIED CHICKEN, BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIB, AND THE TABLESIDE GRAND MARNIER CRÈME BRÛLÉE. Chefs kiss! The vibes were impeccable and it’s just a great restaurant! There’s a cute, trendy little lounge that’s connected to the restaurant and I’m just so happy that Dallas finally has such a treat. 5 stars across the board for drinks, food, and AMAZING service! Note: Mr. Jackson….please keep up the great work! I can’t wait to get back here!
Finally had time to come make it out to this place and well… it did not disappoint at all!! The food, service, and the vibes were definitely on point! Our waitress was amazing even while training a new employee. The management Chris Jackson and Gill Molina also made a few visits to our table insuring that my wife and I were well taken care of. You can tell they are running an amazing establishment and have the right people help running the restaurant. The food was great! For our appetizer we got the coconut shrimp which was very delicious! Then the wife and I got the filet mignon and the New York strip! Both were cooked to our exact liking!! The sides were just as good! For drinks I would definitely recommend the old fashioned! It was real smooth. Now for dessert! I would recommend the crème brûlée! Presentation on everything was on point! Now the cherry on top was the ambience. The music and the good vibes just set everything off just right! Definitely recommend and will be back! Thanks again to Chris Jackson and Gill Molina again! I really appreciated your hospitality.
This place is AWESOME! A few of us decided to come here and it did not disappoint. At all! The food was amazing! The ambiance was really nice! Very chill and relaxing. The food was GOOD and the drinks were AMAZING! The staff were personable and polite as well! It was an experience and I will be back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Date night with the Mrs turned into a pleasant surprise for the both of us. The atmosphere was beyond amazing, from the hostess greeting, to the warm embrace we received during our experience. Our waiter, RAMY, was the star of the show. His attentiveness to us made us warm up instantly. He ensured no want or need was not fulfilled. Great knowledge of the menu and his recommendations were spot on. Definitely, ask for him if you try this location. To top off the experience, Chris Jackson, general manager, grace us with a guided tour of the Papzz lounge. This place does not disappoint. GET HERE NOW!
This was my 1st visit here since they closed Harper’s and reopened as Paparazzi Chophouse. I was celebrating my birthday and glad I made the choice to come here I sat at the bar which my 1st bartender was just okay, but when Rishawna came , she was very attentive and personable. She made my experience very enjoyable As far as the food, I didn’t get a steak, instead I wanted something lighter to eat such as the stuffed seafood flounder. It was pretty good, just needed a pinch of salt that I didn’t add, but it was good nonetheless. I had two cocktails, both tequila mixed, very good
I'm going to start off by saying, it's a Cute Little Date night if you want to take your woman out. We had reservations but I was wearing shorts, so we had to do bar seating area which isn't so bad, just near the door. So it was hard not to notice all the people after me wearing shorts but I digress. Everything we ate was delicious. The lobster sliders were delicious. We had the seafood stuffed flounder which was amazing. I wish it came with the Brussel sprouts but they were a great addition. We also had the cedar Plank grilled salmon which was great as well. We had two hat blues which was on point if you like bourbon and you're a slow sipper. Valet was $10. Overall, it's a dope date night spot. Cost me $170.
When we arrived, there was a slight issue with our reservation but the host was so helpful and made it work! The food and drinks came out quickly, even with a large party. My filet was cooked perfectly. The lobster mac, my goodness y’all. And I could eat a whole bowl of the candied cream corn. Xavion was our server and he took really good care of us. I would definitely go back!
I've had the pleasure to dine here twice for brunch and dinner. The atmosphere and music are a vibe in itself. They have a lounge if you just want to enjoy music and drinks. Drinks are fancy and strong but worth the cost. The food is flavorful. I prefer seafood, and they had plenty of options. For dinner, I had the Snapper, and it was a show piece because they brought out the whole fish!
Wow from start to finish the decor the vibe the music the food the bathrooms were even on POINT!!! We had a great time wife and I and some friends…..no rush to order just allowed us to BE and enjoy the night the way we wanted too!!! Food was spectacular and couldn’t make a complaint if I wanted to…..I mean they made sure our every need was met with flying colors!!! Great well run establishment…..great job guys….well done ….and yes pun intended! :)
I celebrated my birthday at Paparazzi Chophouse, and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and cooked to perfection, and the service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and professional. The music and overall vibe of the place made it a perfect spot for a special occasion. Everything about the experience was fantastic, and I can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!
Had an amazing experience at Paparazzi Chophouse, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Jada. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and taken care of without being overbearing. She had great recommendations, was super attentive, and made sure our drinks were always topped off. What really stood out was her energy—genuine, friendly, and just the right amount of fun. You can tell she actually cares about making sure guests have a great time. The food was incredible, but honestly, Jada made the experience even better. Definitely asking for her next time I’m here!
My first visit here was for my 41st birthday. This was a really nice place, The staff are amazing, the whole atmosphere is very pleasant. The food was so good. My favorite was the candied cream corn, lol.The valet was a simple and quick interaction. The whole experience was amazing. I will definitely return. Also, after 10 p.m., one side of the restaurant turns into a lounge.
The staff members were as amazing as the food and ambiance. From time of seating until we left the restaurant, the staff was extremely hospitable, knowledgeable of the menu items and well organized. The food and cocktails were absolutely superb! Thanks Paparazzi for making our sister’s birthday dinner one to remember.
From the moment we walked in, we felt incredibly welcomed. The ambiance was just right—warm, inviting, and perfect for a birthday dinner or any kind of celebration. The music added to the lively yet comfortable atmosphere. Our server, Jada, was truly exceptional. She was engaging, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our night memorable. Her energy and enthusiasm made all the difference in our first time her. The mushrooms were easily a 10/10. Highly recommend!
We popped in for dinner after a long day and before an early flight. We were not dressed appropriately (not terrible but they have a dress code which I respect). It was early and not busy yet but we decided to walk in anyway. They could not have been nicer. (We even offered to go to hotel and change quickly!). We sat at the bar and had some delicious cocktails followed by appetizers and steaks. The bartender, Sydney, was lovely, attentive and very friendly as well as super accommodating when we were looking for a specific scotch… she brought over a few great selections! Just really a wonderful example of customer service and experience. We felt bad for the tshirt and my slides but we slid out before the chic evening crowd showed up. Its just nice when people accommodate the exception. Its a very casual world these days and sometimes you just want a delicious meal and crawl in the bed! Thank you for a great experience. We will be back soon. 10 stars for all of it! ❤️ (loved their caesar salad ….just perfect!)
Wanted to go somewhere nice and mellow for dinner & this is the Place!! It is absolutely a VIBE!! Love the darkness in there setup is really elegant and Beautiful they instantly greeted you when you are seated. Our server Emmanuel is absolutely the best. He came every second to make sure we was fine. Helped out a lot about the menu when I had questions for the drink and food, but the food was absolutely Goooddttt. Appetizers I had the coconut shrimp, & the meatballs and they were flavorful. The sauce is very good. For entrée hot honey fried chicken /Greens/ sweet corn. And to top it off Crème de la was very creamy and sweet 😌
I had such a great time at Paparazzi Chophouse, especially during their Cocktails and Connections event for women. The space is stunning. It has that perfect upscale Dallas vibe that feels glamorous, lively, and welcoming all at once. The food was so good. I started with the chopped Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, and perfectly balanced. It didn’t feel heavy at all and was the perfect way to start the night. The lobster roll sliders with fries were a standout. The lobster was generous, flavorful, and well dressed, and the fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned just right. They felt indulgent but still elevated. The candied cream corn honestly surprised me in the best way. It was rich, slightly sweet, and comforting, but still refined. One of those dishes you keep going back to even when you’re full. The cocktails were beautifully crafted and paired perfectly with the food. Everything felt intentional and well thought out. On top of that, the Cocktails and Connections event itself was such a vibe. The energy was welcoming and social, and it felt easy to connect with other women in a relaxed, stylish setting. Between the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, and the genuine connections, it was an all around great experience. Paparazzi Chophouse is definitely a spot I’ll be returning to, and I’d highly recommend checking out one of their events if you get the chance.
I very seldom go out anywhere especially downtown. I wanted to do something different for my birthday. I was looking for nice elegant brunch spot and I saw a clip of paparazzi chophouse. I was trying to make reservations for a small group of us but they were booked so I made it for 2 because I WAS GOING!!! MAAAAAAAAAN if I tell yall, this place was 100/10. From valet parking $10, to guess services, to the food and VIBE!!!! IT IS A MUST GO AND SEE FOR YOURSELF. The managers, Tremaine, Jamerica(forgive the spelling) they were so nice and professional. The place is clean, food hitting, music on point, the crowd was grown, well I did see a few kids, but they were well mannered. I will most definitely go back very soon. I really enjoyed my birthday Sunday at Paparazzi. Please yall check it out!!!
WOW! We were amazed from start to finish. Had brunch reservations for two on a Sunday at 12:30pm but arrived early and sat down early. The ambiance, the greeting, server, food, 1000/10. Valet was $10 and they played gospel music which was DIFFERENT! I was shocked and I knew it was black owned because of the type of gospel playing. I confirmed with our server and I was right. The food was so good ESPECIALLY the banana foster French toast which we never had before. My goodness!!!! Bottomless mimosas for $20 oweeee your choice of juice passion twist, cranberry, pineapple, orange juice. We will definitely be back to try their dinner menu and for sure brunch again which is $55 pp. You may not eat that much food but pairing with service and ambiance it’s very well work it. I think our server was Adrian or Andrew. Please forgive me it’s one of those lol, but he was GREAT! Very attentive and made sure we were good. There is someone walking around to make sure the water glasses were full as well. Baked catfish, chicken and waffles, bacon, eggs, sausage, omelet and steak station, potatoes, grits, fresh fruit and salad etc. YES LAWD!
My evening at paparazzi was excellent, valet was fast and straightforward and the hostess was attentive to me and my party before being seated. The ambiance of the restaurant was trendy but warm and inviting, with old R&B and new age tracks ranging from kaytranada to afrobeats of Rema. It kept the atmosphere light and upbeat while eating. My party and I were seated in the lounge section and were met with quick service by the waitress. The drinks were great and had fun presentations, and the food complimented the drinks well in taste. Starters were amazing and honestly more filling than expected. The entrees were pushed out very timely; all were great but the dish of the night was the catfish and grits dish. If you're looking for a trendy and low light date night place, or an adult social hour with close friends, I highly recommend.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience at Paparazzi Restaurant & Lounge in Deep Ellum! From the moment we arrived, the vibe, service, and energy were top-tier. Huge shoutout to Tremaine (GM), Alejandro (our server), and Jamiracle (floor manager) for outstanding service. The food was delicious—spinach dip and boudin egg rolls were 🔥, and our entrées (salmon, pork chops, mashed potatoes, seasoned fries) were cooked perfectly. Drinks were made to perfection (blueberry Hennessy mojito & Hennessy lemon drop). The lounge with the live DJ sealed the deal. Great music, great energy, and an all-around perfect night. We’ll definitely be back!
Food was excellent less the desserts. Our server Zavion and bartender Leslie were very attending. Definitely on my A list.
I came on the 23rd for my birthday brunch. It was a little unorganized during check in & waiting on our table. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude, she needs to work on her professionalism & also keep her hands to herself. However, the foot itself was great.
We visited during the week and were pleasantly surprised at how lively it was. The atmosphere was warm, stylish, and inviting, with a great playlist that set the tone. The food was delicious, and the lounge had a fun, laid-back vibe with no drama. Our server went above and beyond, and the general manager was both welcoming and professional. We truly enjoyed our experience and look forward to coming back to try more dishes!
The food is delicious!! This is the best meal I’ve had at a restaurant in a very long time. We had the short ribs, blackened snapper and Brussel sprouts. AMAZING, literally chef’s kiss. The service… there was a mix up on the time they close. We went on a Sunday, their website and google says they close at 11 so we made a 9:30 reservation. When we got there, the hostess was no where to be found and we weren’t seated until 9:45. Our waiter came to the table at 9:55 and told us the kitchen closes at 10. BUT he was able to talk to the chef and get us food based on what google and their website states. So initially the service was iffy, but our server Richardo, made up for it he was so incredibly nice and helpful. I am 100% going back. Just a note: please update your Sunday hours on google and your website.
I came in yesterday with my fiance, He proposed right before we came to this place , and it was the best experience ever and our first time coming !!! The bartender Kaitlyn was so attentive and smiled every single time she came to the table , My fiance and I even sent her an invitation to our wedding … we have never done that before . Next time we come we’ll ask for Kaitlyn every single time that she’s there. Keep doing what you’re doing and being who you are Kaitlyn ! You’re one of a kind.
I waited for 45 minutes the first time I came to be seated but the atmosphere was so good that I had to give it another shot. Let me tell you! I deleted my first review because this time I didn’t wait for a seat or food! The food was good and I felt like it was a complete 180.
Drove in from Austin after attending a concert and had Sunday brunch here. Food, vibes and service were all second to none. Loved being around so much black excellence and eating so well. The catfish and grits, fried chicken strips and omelette station were standouts for me. Drinks are a little pricey but all in all we had a great time and will be back the next time we’re in Dallas.
I went on a Saturday Night an it was very fancy. Hood fancy tho. I felt like I was at a Playas pimp ball lol 😆 I enjoyed myself, food was good. I got the honey Buffalo chicken and collard greens with crispy onions. It was worth the price. DJ was on point.. it's a dark atmosphere it's very little lighting.. The lounge they have is very small but it's a good addition to the place. Overall it was nice. DRESS TO IMPRESS FORMAL ATTIRE ONLY
I checked out Paparazzi Chophouse and it’s a 10/10 for me. The food was delicious, and since I’m big on customer service, I have to say they nailed it — attentive and on point. The mac and cheese was divine, the greens were great, and I even tried a piece of the chicken nuggets my friend ordered — super tender. The ambiance is adorable and perfect for a date night. We started in the main restaurant and then headed to the private birthday event in the lounge connected to the space. Very nice setup, and the bartenders and entire staff were amazing. It was also super cool seeing my childhood friend managing such an impressive restaurant — makes total sense, he’s one of the best in the industry. We will definitely be back!
First time here. We had reservations and didn't get seated until maybe 30 minutes after our time, but it wasn't a problem. The 2 hostess were extremely nice and personable. We even shared our birthday cake with them on the way out as we really appreciated their hospitality. The music was just a tad bit too loud for my liking, but that is the only complaint. The food and service was terrific. Everyone was attentive and friendly. Considering the quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable. This will become a regular spot for me going forward!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Paparazzi Chophouse absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was upscale yet welcoming, and the service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. The food was phenomenal: perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Every bite tasted fresh and intentional, especially the steaks, which were cooked to perfection. You can truly tell they take pride in quality and consistency. This is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had, and I will 100% be returning. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional meal and top-tier service.
Paparazzi Chophouse exceeded all expectations! The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, the service was attentive without being overbearing, and the food and drinks was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. This is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. This is the 4th visit and it never disapppoints. Everything from start to finish was top-notch. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal with friends or your significant other.
They have a dress code, but it's not enforced. The food was good as a few people in the party were upset about the portion size; however, it was recommended plate size. The atmosphere was low light romantic, with a live DJ after 10pm. We had a party of 9, and they were unable to separate the check.
Service was awful. Food came cold, most likely server. Whether I was happy or not, I was charged 20% gratuity and no one came to check on us. We could barely get our bill so we could leave. We waited over 20 minutes with nothing on the table, just waiting for a bill we already asked for. This was a Sunday night, not crowded.
We had a great time with our server/bar tender Riana aka Riri. She was very attentive, charismatic and made phenomenal drinks. She also gave great recs on the menu items as well. I will definitely be back and next time plan to sit at the bar just to have her as our server/bartender again . When you come in, I recommend you ask for Riri 💯
Let me start off by saying the atmosphere was AMAZING!!!! The customer service was decent but could definitely improve. Our waitress had to be flagged down several times and honestly did not deserve the gratuity that was automatically added. The sides were good, but the three of us agreed that our entrees were mediocre at best. I highly recommend the lobster mac and cheese and the lobster bisque.
Beautiful decor. Definitely a place you can get dressed up and take great pictures and enjoy time with friends or a nice date. Great music feels the air and if you don’t want the night out to end you can go next door to the linked club/bar. The bartender made a mean mocktail if you aren’t a drinker and my friend said the cocktails were really good too. Food wasn’t bad the eggrolls were my favorite and I recommend you try them if you dine here.
I went here for my girlfriend’s birthday dinner and had a great experience overall. We were seated in the lounge area in the back, which felt private and perfect for the occasion. The music was cool & the vibe was on point — classy but relaxed, making it ideal for a date night. The service was a little slow at times, but the staff was friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The food and drinks were definitely the highlight — everyone in our group enjoyed their meals, and the cocktails were well-crafted. Definitely recommend this spot for a romantic evening or special celebration. I will be returning.
I went on a Thursday night at 7pm and had a great time. You can valet for $10. I ate the blackened chicken penne with a side of mashed potatoes. Both items were decent. The mashed potatoes were bland. The serving size of the food was good. My friend had the catfish and grits and that was amazing!! We also had the boudin eggrolls & those were delicious. He also got the lobster Mac & Cheese which was delicious as well. I had a Blueberry Mojito and that was so good!!! Definitely a 10/10! For dessert I had the bourbon pecan pie & it wasn’t good but the ice cream they served with it was very good. I would definitely go back & try a few other items as well. Our waiter Alejandro was very nice & attentive. The music was a good selection & not too loud
Tooo loud. Their club scene is connected to the dining experience and the music overpowers the somewhat quiet "". The fish was rather skimpy for my entree. Some other food looked exceptionally good. It just seemed like a regular restaurant with catchy plating and different takes on food options that work. This was also the regular dinner service and not the famous brunch or buffet.
My second time here and I loved it again! I just don’t want the integrity of the place to go down by allowing the dress code to be compromised. I saw a lot of basically naked women. See through lace bodysuits exposing underwear. Guys in baseball caps and hoodies. Please put someone at the door who doesn’t mind enforcing the dress code before your place goes down.
We went for my daughter's birthday. The Hotess were polite and friendly. The food was average; my family ordered spinach dip, boudin egg rolls, blackened catfish, short ribs and fried chicken. In our opinion, the appetizers were better. The service was good and waiter friendly. The atmosphere was nice. Towards the end of our dinner, I believe they were turning the back of the restaurant into a club. The Dj music was loud for the back room size. Overall experience is a 4 star; food a 3 star but me and my husband don't have a desire to go back.
I enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. The staff was friendly, service was quick and most of the food was great. I liked the catfish and grits, chicken pasta and chicken in the chicken and waffles. I'm not going to say these next things are cons, just things to know when you go. There is a parking lot kinda down the sidewalk, across the street from where the biscuit bar was, not far from the actual restaurant. The actual restaurant is down the side walk, behind the tin man on the corner of good Latimer and pacific. If you go for brunch, it is buffet style and price is $55. You will pay gratuity on EVERY bill, regardless of party size( Like Kitchen & Cocktails). I paid $87 for brunch, a mocktail and gratuity. I'm not sure if I'm coming back for dinner knowing pricing. Not a bad place but be prepared to pay at least $50+ pp.
First time here. Sat at the bar to pregame before our next destination and was ignored until the person I was with joined me and requested service. Spinach dip was really good. Lobster roll was a decent portion for the price but its imitation Lobster. The fries it came with were good though. Service got better after we ordered drinks. Food came out quick. Overall I would give them one more chance so I can try other foods since we only ordered appetizers and drinks at the bar.
Brought my husband in for dinner on his birthday dec 13th. I made reservations for 4 and we was seated soon as we came in. I must say I didn't care for the hostess telling us snarky twice that there was a 2 hour max seating tonight because we have parties coming in so yall have 2 hours! For this to be a upscale nice Resturant that was tacky. Our actual waitress was amazing and had great customerservice. She was super polite and provided great recommendations! The food so so good the drinks even better We also had the meatballs and shrimp and we cleaned our plates. We will definitely be back soon hopefully for brunch next time.
My overall experience was great. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, our server Xavion was sweet and caring. I am rating this restaurant as a 3 because there should be a non-alcohol drink menu and the seating was to close, I felt I was sitting at the table with the guest next to me. You can get the cocktails as mocktails but something was off. This is not the restaurant for you if you do not drink alcohol. I was disappointed that the menu states the Creme Brulee would be torched at the table but it was served with the candle in a cup, not an upscale thing to do at all. Also, if you are not a big tipper, understand your tip will be included in the ticket price no matter the size of your table. We were a table of 2. I am very disappointed about the Creme Brulee experience, this was my reason for choosing this restaurant. There was a server with long blonde braids, if she cannot walk past a table without her hair hitting the guest she needs to put it up in a bun or not wear it so long. Her hair hit me in the face as she passed by me.
I was in a party of 15, so I understand things will take a while but our waiter was awful. I asked him where my drink was. I ordered another drink as he was taking orders for food. He said it would be there in about 10 minutes. I said OK. He comes back around this time with the food. I asked him where my drink is, and he then begins to tell me that I had two blueberry Mojitos And points at my wife’s drink and said that one must be yours, baby. First, please do not call me baby. Then I went on to say if I had two blueberry Mojitos, where’s the second one and furthermore, I ordered the Barenaked lady the first time so after having this exhausting conversation several times he finally brings me my drink. After that, I eventually received my steak I can’t remember which one it was but it was flattened like a Waffle House New York strip. I ordered it medium well it came to me well done and was dry. When I got the waiter’s attention to tell him that my steak was overcooked. He took his cell phone out, turned on the flashlight And examined my food. I turned and looked at him like, what the hell are you doing? He then takes the plate that says we’ll make you another one after waiting about another 10 minutes. I lost my appetite and was over it. On a positive note, the atmosphere was amazing and everyone around me seem to have had great appetizers. The snapper was super cool.
The food was just okay. I didn’t like the lobster rolls at all, but surprisingly the coconut shrimp was really good — definitely the highlight of the night. The steak was mid… it didn’t have much flavor and was really tough to chew. Now, the service was a 10/10! Our server was super nice (I wish I could remember his name), and even though we were there past closing, they never rushed us once. That alone says a lot about how well they treat their guests. The ambience was beautiful, definitely gave luxury dinner vibes. I’ve had way better food for way less, but the experience itself was great. I’m not a fan of restaurants that automatically include gratuity for small parties (like two or three people), but honestly, it didn’t make the service any less amazing. They also had photographers going around taking pictures … cute idea, but $25 a photo is wild 😭. The lounge/club next door was actually really fun though, so that kind of made up for it. Overall, the food could’ve been a lot better, but the service, staff, and atmosphere made it a nice night. I probably wouldn’t go back unless it was a last resort or maybe just for the coconut shrimp and the vibes.
We went early as our party was all 50+ -Service was fast food came out pretty fast but lacked flavor. Mac 2/10 Ribeye 5/10 mashed potatoes were great. Gumbo portion size was very small Collard greens were too spicy and vinegary. Music was very loud and the profanity was overbearing-I understand it goes along with the vibe type atmosphere but it can be too much on repeat. Will not return.
I guess my only concern is the 20% gratuity applied for Brunch. The brunch is a buffet we actually served ourselves. Two separate tickets and gratuity of 20% for each ticket. Ordered one sprite and one other drink for the other guest.
Atmosphere was good. Music was loud seats are a little to close. We could hear the other 2 couples conversations. For the price of the food you would expect more then 2 pieces of chicken and looked like a kids meal. The gumbo did not have enough gumbo in it. Again for the prices you pay definitely expect more.
Went there for a date night with my wife. Was really excited by the look, vibe, and folks in general. This location DEFINITELY has potential. Although the look is upscale, the actual vibe is more of a loud club atmosphere. The music is a focal point due to the loudness. It actually disrupts dinner conversation unless you’re fond of yelling at the person sitting next to you. The staff while pleasant are young and easily distracted, dancing and having a good time with diners that are obviously friends. Posing for pictures and openly posting to social media. The food was mid at best, lacking basic seasoning. The steak would’ve been great if only it had salt and pepper. Cooked to perfection, just not seasoned. The bright spot in the whole night was the cocktails. They were exceptional, not watered down at all. There’s also the 20% gratuity that’s automatically added to the bill. We didn’t mind it but it would’ve been nice see it clearly stated on the check. If you want overpriced, unseasoned food, served in a loud club like environment, with a young mostly unprofessional waitstaff, and don’t mind being charged an extra 20%, then this is the place for you. Otherwise for the price point there are quite a few places that offer a better experience within walking distance actually.
It was a nice spot, but the only problem is they charge 20% gratuity no matter what, and that was not clear anywhere which was disappointing especially for a quick stop. I came with 2 brother and we all got only one drink at the bar for about 10min and the service wasn't all that and I was charged 20%. Lucky I didn't order a lot but that's something to be mindful of when going especially if you're going for a quick happy hour trip.
I had the opportunity to have dinner for a friend's birthday. I was a little disappointed with the service. The aesthetics were nice however when the waitress brought the food to the table I felt swarmed. With a large party of 10, the waiter didn't ask "what's the reason for the occasion". I do believe he did his best. We were greeted with smiles at the door. I ordered spicy chicken penne. The chicken was grilled and seasoned to perfection. It was flavorful and beautifully plated. My husband order the honey stung fried chicken and it was pretty tasty. The service was fast. The mocktails were too sweet for me. The greens were like in a soup. Not your typical soul food recipe. The waitstaff is not attentive because one of them wasted sweet sour sauce on my clothing. I told the waiter just so they can be more careful. I don't have to go back.
We were invited here to a Birthday Celebration, so I must preface that I did not pick this spot. I dont enjoy these Eatertainment Club/ Restaurant (STK type) environments. Service Steakhouse Fare in an environment that does not allow you to hear the person across the table from you more less someone sitting three seats away is a Clown Show. If it's 7pm on a Sunday night, the DJ should understand that the 30% filled dining room and the Completely empty Lounge does not dictate the same Volume and Song Selection as much later in the night. As for the Cuisine, it's average Steakhouse at best. Lots of Butter and Cream in everything. The Scampi dish is amateur hour, it should not have cream in the sauce and especially with the combination of using Angel Hair pasta that leads to an over sauced slimy and messy plate. ANGEL HAIR is for a very light sauce, like Olive Oil and Lemon or even a light Pesto, it will not hold up to a cream sauce. The Grits were delicious and the Crab Cake was good as well, however it look to have been pressed flat and the thin🍟 should be served in some type of basket or serving dish as opposed to thrown on the plate. Steaks looked to have been cooked correctly, but again I couldn't hear anyone speak so it was difficult to gauge other members of our groups satisfaction. As far as Service goes, at this price point there should NEVER be an instance in which food is being randomly dropped off at the table and then auctioned off by server who don't have any idea who ordered what and whose voices can't be heard because of the level of the Music. This amounts to a disgusting experience and a lack of comfort and enjoyment on the part of the customer. My 9 year old granddaughter can do a better job. At this price point, the level of service is completely unacceptable. I understand that you may be attempting to draw in Customers who don't know any better, are there for special occasions and are willing to listening to badly selected random tracks playing way too loud. HOWEVER, that type of Customer is usually a one time visitor, of which we will be because we won't be returning. Good luck with that Customer Retention Business Model. As to the Menu, what Moron chose the #6 Size Font on the Menu for the Printing??? Not only is it already a dimly lit environment but you need a Magnifying Glass and your Phone Flashlight to read it... WHY??? Everything else about the place is big and over the top, big tables, big chairs, big couches in the Lounge, big plates and big TV screens all over the room. Why the tiny type on the little menus the??? If Big and Over the Top is the Brand then give me a Giant Steakhouse Menu that I can READ. I would think that the Management would understand that they Customer needs to be able to READ the menu to Order, so it does directly correlate to lost sales. This is only exasperated by the difficulty when trying to discuss the Menu and Order with other members of the dining party as well as the Staff by the Loud Music. Good luck with this concept, it will be short lived. There will be another new spot in town opening every few months and this tired Vegas (Copy Cat STK) dining experience will run out of new bodies to fill the room. Also, your going to experience a ton of staff turnover due to the environment and the lack of consistent returning clientele who know your menu and have a clear expectation of the deliverables. Just my 2 cents, but that's not how a Steakhouse works. ESPECIALLY not a Steakhouse in Dallas, TX. We kind of Own this type of Vibe, and there are clear Expectations by the customer. Or you can just churn through single visits by random customers who are in town for a one off visit....
The atmosphere didn't meet my expectations for the name and the "rules" that came along with it. The service was average, nothing special or memorable about it nor the servers themselves...except after about 2 or 2 1/2 hours, we were told that we had reached our max time at the table (we were a party of 7). The lamb and wagyu meatballs were not seasoned enough for me but my daughter liked 'em. For $17, I got 4 decent sized, supposed-to-be coconut shrimp, but I didn't taste any coconut. That pasta and chicken dish was almost $30, and although you can't tell in the picture, it was a toddler-sized portion, so it was returned. The shrimp and artichoke dip was pretty tasty. The Brussel sprouts were a 6/10. The shrimp and grits dish was a small portion for the price. I didn't taste the lamp chops, but the presentation was cute. I'm told they were boring. My friend enjoyed the Mac & cheese but the rest of the meal was just OK. The lounge is for the young folk. Seating in there is only available if you're buying bottles.
I came on October 4, 2025. The food was underwhelming. The Mac and cheese tasted exactly like Velveeta Shells and Cheese, which would be fine if it wasn’t $9. The restaurant decor was really nice. I feel like the restaurant is fake fancy. Just expensive. As for service I believe our server’s name was Paul. He was fine but he did spill my drink at the table. Mistakes happen but when I look at my receipt, the drink was on the tab and there was a “spillage” discount to cover the spilled drink. The only thing is that since the spilled drink was still on the tab, even though the price was deducted… the spilled drink was still included in the subtotal. So I ended up paying an extra $3.60 in auto gratuity because the server dropped my drink. A penalty for his mistake
The food was outstanding but the service is atrocious. Downright trash! We were served by a guy who was the bartender and not once came to check on us. Had to request another waitress to check us out. Spoke to the manager and he apologized and asked us to give them another try so we agreed. Fast forward, we've been trying for over a week to get a large party reserved but these people don't just not answer the phone, they don't return emails either. I give up. I try to support new businesses especially from my community, but I can't if you can't give me a reason. My money and time are too important than to just let someone trample on it and still expect us to support you.
I feel I’m being generous giving them 2 stars. I was invited here for dinner, upon my arrival I was so confused as to why they made it mandatory to dress nice while the music sounded like some R&B club music and volume was so loud. The host had such a stereotypical attitude (that’s just embarrassing.) The lamb chops weren’t seasoned well. And upon departure, they boxed my food away BUT THEY THREW AWAY MY WIFE’S LAMB CHOP!!! It’s a no for me. For price and the MANDATORY dress code partnered with the atmospher they set, I just can’t get with it. I came to dialogue and network and enjoy good food, not listen to music or have my food thrown out.
I've been to this restaurant several times to enjoy dinner and their lounge. We recently went to try their brunch. The selection in food is very minimal. The chicken is overcooked, the French toast, while tasty, was very burnt. I could only eat a small section in the middle of the bread. The waffles appear to be "Leggo my Eggo" waffles, instead of giving us the option to make fresh waffles with the machine. The eggs looked like rehydrated Army food, very powdery looking. We were able to get fresh omelets and eggs made and they had a carving station. The "salad bar" consisted of a ceasar salad and a mixed fruit salad. If you didn't like ceasar dressing, too bad. If you were allergic to a fruit in the fruit salad, too bad. There were no other options. We opted for the unlimited mimosas and our server brought them out as frequently as we wanted. However the overall service provided was very subpar, which made sense after we received our checks. We were a table of 3 and there was an automatic gratuity added at $15 a person. Which is extremely frustrating when only drinks are being provided. Overall experience for brunch, zero out of five. It's not worth the $70.
I visited Paparazzi Chophouse in Dallas for happy hour with a friend, and it was our first time there. I was genuinely excited to try it and had even planned to come back for dinner. We both ordered sidecars. I asked for a sugar rim and my friend asked for no rim. Both drinks came out with sugar rims, which was not a major issue. The larger concern came when we ordered another round. We were surprised to learn that the original drinks were not the sidecar listed on the menu, but instead a Hennessy sidecar, which we were charged for. When this was mentioned, we were told that we had asked for it, which I am confident we did not. We specifically came for happy hour, and I never order Hennessy. At no point was this clarified or communicated to us. We also shared feedback that the meatballs were unpleasant and the corn was not edible, but nothing was done beyond acknowledging the comment. I’m not someone who likes to go back and forth or make a scene while dining out, but after reflecting on the experience the next day, I felt taken advantage of and unheard. I left extremely disappointed, and plans I had to return for dinner may no longer be the case. This experience fell short of expectations, especially given how excited I was to try the restaurant.
1 star. Not sure how this place is rated more than 3 stars. Table min is $500 for large parties. 2 hour limit. The food was mid. My table didn’t enjoy their drinks. The server was trash, claiming all of the food items are good. She was blonde & trying to rush us. Claimed the sparklers ran out on a Friday at 9pm. Spoke to the manager & he brought them out. The dj was playing good throwback hits, but I wouldn’t come back here. Not worth the hype that it’s been getting from tiktok. Pass.
Went to this establishment on my birthday. Was dressed very well. We have to make sure watch or ask more questions when you see certain establishments advertised on tik-tok. Let me begin. The place is very beautiful it definitely could be a vibe. Here are the flaws the music is extremely loud to where you feel like you are at the club where you have to scream & talk to the people who you came with. They have a lounge next door that guests kept walking back and forth from between the restaurant and lounge I’m assuming to get drinks & use the bathroom. But the guest coming from the lounge are dressed in street clothes. So there’s a conflict of interest with the restaurant rules and lounge. So it makes it seems that they are all over the place. Ok food we ordered a wagu Australian steak absolutely horrible. They have instant potatoes instead of feel ones. The greens were from the can. Not sure what type of chicken they served. Al of the drinks that are advertised on TikTok all nasty. Here’s the kicker it was only my husband & I $60 gratuity spoke to the manager and he did not take it off. So be careful
Okay so this happened last night, 11/13. My apartment complex had an event there. Afterwards, I had 3 drinks which I purchased. The guy in the lounge area, charged me $19 for an expresso martini with tequila (which is fine) but then added an automatic 25% gratuity to it (which is not fine and predatory). I can see 18 or 20 percent but 25. Excessive. So I paid $25 for one drink. He then rudely told me that they were closed and to go to the main bar for anything else. I know he was being rude because another waiter tracked us down to apologize. So now I’m at the main bar. Ordered the same drink twice. $59. So all in all $84 for 3 expresso martinis with tequila. I’m not posting this due to cost but the outrageous, excessive and inconsistent tipping. The main bar did 20% but the drinks were higher there.
My friend celebrated her 30th birthday here on December 27, 2025. She was genuinely excited about hosting her birthday dinner at this restaurant. I went in with reservations but hoped for the best. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. We were informed that anyone not physically seated by 8:00 PM, despite our reservation being for 8:00 PM, would be charged $150 per person. That policy alone is excessive and immediately created unnecessary stress, setting a negative tone for the entire evening. When my wife and I arrived at approximately 7:58 PM, the hosts at the front were laughing and joking, saying things like, “they almost didn’t make it.” That interaction was unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome right away. For a reservation made well in advance for approximately 18 to 20 guests, the seating arrangement was unacceptable. We were placed at a narrow folding picnic-style table that clearly could not accommodate the size of our party. There was no elbow room, no space for plates, and no consideration for guest comfort. One guest was forced to sit at the end of the table, partially separated from the group, due to the lack of space. I had to sit pressed against my wife just to make room while waiting for our food, which also did not fit on the table. The pricing was excessive and completely unjustified by the quality. We were charged $65 for a bottle of Arbor Mist, which retails for roughly $6. This part here is the most ridiculous and unacceptable $65 for a $6 bottle of wine! SMDH! The calamari was overcooked, the greens were canned rather than fresh, and I ordered my steak medium only for it to arrive well done and severely under-seasoned. It also appeared that there was confusion regarding steak cuts, as the New York strip I received was the thickest I have ever seen, suggesting a lack of attention to the order or basic steak preparation standards. At the end of the night, a slice of chocolate cake was priced between $35 and $45, and it was dry. Given the consistently poor service throughout the evening, the guest of honor should have at least been offered that dessert at no charge or at a discount. Instead, there was no effort to acknowledge the experience or attempt to make things right. While I understand that the photos may have been taken by a third party, Paparazzi is still responsible for the overall guest experience. Charging the guest of honor $35 for a single photo in a low-quality frame was another disappointment. That should have been complimentary or, at minimum, discounted. My biggest issue is simple. If your prices are premium, your food must be top quality. You cannot call yourself a steakhouse while delivering food quality comparable to Applebee’s or Chili’s. If a restaurant cannot properly accommodate large parties, the reservation should be declined. Instead, our group spent over $2,000 and left feeling uncomfortable, frustrated, and disappointed. This was a milestone celebration that should have been handled with care and professionalism, and it was not. I want to support Black-owned businesses, but support does not mean ignoring poor service and unacceptable execution. If Paparazzi is reading this, please step your game up and do better. I do not recommend this restaurant.
I was expecting top tier service for the price I paid. My concern after I got the bill was, "why in the world was Brunch Buffet on a Sunday $55 and why did I HAVE to tip when they only brought ne drinks?". I had to flag my server down to ask for syrup. He pointed to where it was. I took the time to look for it since it was a buffet. Even after looking for it, I had to wait until my server popped out to ask again. For FIFTY- FIVE dollars, there should have been a variety of warm flavors of syrup served to my table instead of a cold cup of syrup. I don't like how they exploit you with this high end furniture but give you middle class service. I was under the impression that the Sunday Brunch was $30. But I'll never make this mistake again. The lack of service with the high gratuity I was automatically billed for on a table of 2 was definitely a rip off. We each paid separately so then the server made more money than they actually worked for. It was all about the hustle and not the customer experience.
This was my first time visiting; it was for a birthday celebration for one of my girlfriends. It was the worst experience. How can you serve shrimp cocktail with no cocktail sauce? The best food was the cheesy grits, but they ran out of food for those who came after 2pm and was still charged the same price as if they had a lot of food. CRAZY, plus a 20% surcharge for 1 or 2 people and say it’s for everyone..when you get your food from the buffet, and by the time you get to your seat, the food was cold. Lastly, how can you let other people check in early and allow your “ friends” to be seated ahead of those who made reservations. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN
Came for the brunch, unfortunately didn't get to try the food- which didn't look worth the wait. I made a reservation for 1:15. A couple arrived at the same time and without a reservation. I heard them name drop ( after the hostess advised that there were no more open reservations ) to the hostess and she said she would work something out for them (it's not that serious, it's a brunch buffet). At 1:45 my party of 4 and I were still left standing without further acknowledgement past the initial check in. We canceled our reservation and went elsewhere. Valet charges $10 upfront, so basically paid for nothing. Won't return.
I celebrated my birthday at Paparazzi last night with My girls, and had a VIP section with a bottle of Don Julio. At first, our server was attentive and things started off well. I quickly came in before the rest of the party arrived and immediately paid for the table. However, as the night went on, her professionalism and attentiveness declined. What was most disappointing was when she took one of our cups and the juice mixer that came with our bottle to pour a drink for her friends seated nearby—people who weren’t even doing bottle service. When I addressed it, she admitted she “should have asked” but brushed it off, saying it’s never been an issue for her other tables. As someone who has worked as a bottle girl before, I know this is unacceptable and unprofessional—our purchase should never be used to serve others. From that point forward, her attitude shifted. She seemed distant and disengaged, spending more time socializing and dancing with the other table of her friends than providing service to ours. The final straw was when, while she was dancing with her back to me, she accidentally hit me in the face as I walked by to the restroom. While she apologized she also chuckled with her friends she was socializing with for the night. I spoke to the manager that night, but this level of service should not be overlooked. Spending money on a VIP section and bottle service should come with a great experience, not disregard. Unfortunately, this experience left me unimpressed, and honestly wanting a refund. Contact me and I will send photo from last night if exactly who I’m talking about.
