I just wanted to leave a shout-out for the awesome manager at this Popeyes. Today was my son’s birthday, and we were getting everything ready because my kids were actually heading out for the weekend. Unfortunately, his meal got left out of our order. After trying to call and not getting through, I went back a little frustrated. But the manager really came through. He fixed the order right away, threw in some extra goodies, and made sure everything was perfect. He was super professional and really turned the situation around, which meant a lot since we were trying to make the day special before the kids left. We always talk about the complaints, but it’s just as important to give props when someone does it right. Thanks again to the team here for making it a smooth experience!
The sign on the door says they closed @ 10p but doors were locked by 9p. The spicy chicken sandwich and wings had so much flavor. I ruined my shirt because of the two.
Great service from the 2 young men who assisted me this evening. Pleasant and professional. The one working the drive thru helped me get the best value. Then the other timely brought my food to my car!
I really enjoyed the opportunity to eat at a clean and friendly place our food was fresh and delicious and also hot. The General Manager Sammy and his team was for the customer and they made us feel as if we we're being catered for in such a positive way I'll definitely be visiting this location when I'm back in Dayton Ohio. Great job.
Nice and clean with a modern design. For a fast food restaurant the macaroni and cheese and red beans and rice is pretty darn good. You can't go wrong eating at Popeyes. 😉
I was doordashing late last night in the snow when I received an order for Popeyes and 4 am. I figured they would be closed but I have to drive there to confirm and unassigned the order. Let me say the woman that was working was very kind, patient, and exhibited excellent customer service. However the man on staff must have either been going through a rough day or has some serious demons he needs to overcome. I pulled up to the windows just to take a photo of the hours of operation to confirm they were closed with doordash. He immediately comes over and is yelling through the glass that they are closed, I give him a thumbs up show him my app and point to the hours posted trying to signify what im doing. Then he proceeds to yell and scream about how im on his timer. Mind you I've worked fast food and I understand the demand to keep times down however I was there for maybe 45 seconds total. The woman opens the windows and we briefly talk about what im doing I stay polite and say im sorry im not trying to run your time up I just need a photo to unassigned. He starts yelling about how that's what im doing and yes you are messing it up. She asks me what the name on my order is and I told her it's okay I already reported it as closed then I left. Ny main reason for this review is so someone can check on that man or get him out of customer service because either he is NOT OKAY or he walks around angry like that constantly which seems exhausting. He should really consider a change in job fields if he is unable to manage his emotions.
I I was there August 31. I ordered a six piece wing combo after checking my box I was told that biscuit did not come with me. I was also surprised to find out that I got party wings and not whole wings. I was not happy with my meal at all. I paid $12.20 and all I got was the wings, red beans and rice and a cup of supposed to be iced tea, but it was warm.
I ordered 3 piece spicy chicken. What i received as spicy chicken was horrible 😫. The cooks wasn't even wearing proper attire the gloves were missing. They was wiping their hands on their clothing! The chicken had a burnt taste to it! I just took it back up to the counter and told them this is nasty. One of the servers got a little bit angry and voiced her opinion. Then when she looked at the chicken herself she noticed it was burnt looking. She said oh I'm sorry for the inconvenience you will get a refund back. She called the manager up. There was no taste of spiciness in the chicken at all.
First time trying Popeyes and won't try it again. I didn't get the hype behind it. I order the nuggets combo with a side of a mac and cheese. The mac and cheese looks awful same as for the taste. The nuggets were okay, one piece was very chewy. Also the strawberry lemonade was so sugary and couldn't finished it.
I ordered the Rip'n chicken and only receive one strip and a 1/2 of one very disappointing. However, the biscuit was good and hot and the red beans and rice was delicious!
Bit down on a piece of hard plastic in the mac and chesse first time for anything like this, tossed the whole meal

Its a horrible wait. That attitude is negative and the employees dont want to be working and show it in their lacking customer service. Why do we always have these bad experiences on the West Side. This doesn't happen in Kettering or Moraine...
I ordered a spicy wing and breast. The breast is old taste weird. Red beans and dry rice crunchy. Watery. No flavor at all. The strawberry cream pie was greasy with no flavor. This is the worst food ever. What a horrible way to start off the New year. 1/02/2026
This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. I DoorDash I had two orders I had to wait Over 30 minutes they said they would bring it out waited another 15 minutes went to the door. They were so rude about bringing my order out. They literally walked as slow as possible and looked at me like I was wrong. One order of mine canceled, and the order they did bring out was wrong! It cost me a lot of money. And it was cold. Don’t go here they suck!
The guy at the window doesn’t give a damn about cx .. he made me wait for almost an hour then gave me my order without the drink. I had to step out of my car to go the window to ask for it. I knocked the window he didn’t even turn to look at me there’s a lady she saw that and came to attend me. That guy ruined the rest of my day. I was pissed
Whoever was working at the drive through around 10:30 pm was very rude and didn’t make my order right so yeah don’t come to this location
Had us waiting 20+ mins waiting on a two piece, the lady thing was giving people the wrong orders and or handing their peeps extra food. For whatever the reason they still messed up the two piece like how!?
Service is so slow they always have you go park then take like 15 min to bring ur food out never any sauce or napkins in bag
If I could give no stars I would. Highly dissatisfied, the team member taking orders was very rude and giving off an attitude. I got pulled up and food still wasn’t fresh. The manager was just as rude . There was guys in there with no work clothes on just very distasteful behavior. I will not be coming back here again.
This is the second time i have went to Popeyes on Salem Ave sence they remolded the store seems the service has gotten worse and food is worse .A few weeks i went thur the drive oedered three piece tenders got home and has a three piece.denter today went there ordered same thing and got a five piece witch was cold went i got home olny live five min. Away.ask for dip it was on the receipt they shorted it. Will not be back.
OMG the night crew does not care literally been here 15 minutes waiting on door dash and not 1 person has come out of store and I’m looking at probably 10 orders just sitting there talk about lazy!
Went through the drive-through on May 31 around 12:23 PM and when I went to go pull up to the drive-through window, the girl wouldn’t allow me to pull in front of the window. She made me stay behind some poles that were by the window and then when she did tell me to pull up, she had attitude and then she asked me for payment and I gave her my card and then she gave me the food and when I started to check the food, she told me I couldn’t sit there and check the food to make sure it was right that I need to pull off and go sit in front of the building so I did Then I left after that but then when I got home, I realized I never got back my card, so I went back up there to get my card and it was more of attitude from this chick in the drive-through about the card so I didn’t feel comfortable when they gave me back the card. I didn’t know if they had taken pictures of my card on their phone if they had written down my numbers what went on so I had to cancel out my card And have a new card sent to me that I’m now waiting on now. I’m gonna have to wait 5 to 7 days for a new card because of the issue that I had with these people in the drive-through with not returning my car to me and then giving me attitude when I wanted it back I’m not the one that made a mistake. I’m not the one that was rude to people, but this really should be addressed and be addressed by management because these people up here are trying to keep peoples bank cards from them and stuff and it’s not cool. People are gonna end up having their cards used then and money take it from their accounts. It’s not right, so really needs to address this And y’all be careful going through this drive-through paying cash only.
