Since I love Brisket and Mexican Food this place is perfect for me. Great food for the price. The Brisket Nachos were amazing and a lot for the money. The Beef Fajitas were mararinated just the way I like. Very tender and tasty. The atmosphere was very beautiful and an art paradise that I could spend hours photographing. Definitely worth a stop here when going to Decatur on 287.

Villa Grande Ranch. Very good food and awesome service. Wife had a brisket salad and i had beef fajitas and everything was great. Mercedes our waitress was really good, professional and kept our glasses filled and was always checking on us. Thats when I tip better when service is better. I recommend Villa Grande Ranch to all.

What a huge place! There were literally 40 of us, they put us all at one table, had one server, and they KILLED IT! The server was excellent. She got ALL of our drinks out quickly, executed the orders perfectly, and kept checking on us. Seriously. ONE SERVER!! The kids hamburger was massive and easily could have been an adult burger. The kids didn’t complain. The fries were hit and fresh as well. I had the pork carnitas quesadilla, and it was excellent. Just the right amount of steak and vegetables! It took me decades to find this place and it was worth every year. Thank you and good luck to you all!

Pretty decent experience. I would skip the chips and dip (salsa & queso)—they are bland and do not stick out much. Entrees were certainly surprisingly tasty. Fajitas (shrimp & chicken), carne asada, taco salad, chicken tenders were all delicious. Perfect tenderness, flavor, and consistency. Service was pretty good as well. Frequent checks in, well mannered staff, clean, and quick! Restaurant was pretty busy *30 minutes* after opening. It was quite loud, especially since we were seated literally right beside the kitchen. Overall, I would eat here again.

We’ve been several times, and honestly it’s always a little hit or miss. One time we had the Taebel side guacamole, and it was amazing. The next time it was only so so. Sometimes the barbecue items are good and sometimes not great. During Covid, they had family meals, and that was a great value and delicious. Usually the service is spot on, but not always. Again, your mileage may vary. When it’s good, it’s very good.

Wasn't a fan of the salsa but it had a marinara flavor. The queso and margaritas were delicious. The parillada was a lot of food. The chicken was a bit blah bit the steak was super tender.

It wasn't bad for tex mex, the birria tacos were good. Salsa's were kind of bland, need a little more heat. Will try again as it is close to home in order to sample a few more things on the menu.

We were a big group so some of our orders took a while to bring or were incomplete. The food was ok. The tables were reserved in advance. I really hate how expensive Tex-Mex food is getting. This place is no different. For the size of this place, the restrooms should be bigger and they should've shoveled the entry. I might return.

Edit: so we came back and the food was much better! We got the smoked platter for two and it was really good. The shrimp was a bit over cooked but other than that it was great 👍🏼 Just had an early dinner. The service was wonderful, very nice waitress and hostess. The rice and beans were good 😊 but we ordered the fajitas and we were given almost raw onions and 2 slivers of bell pepper and had to order more peppers which were also almost raw and neither had and seasoning. The best part was the drinks. 10/10 delicious. Just work on fully cooking your vegetables and seasoning them.

We had fajitas, I was disappointed that they do not cook their fajitas over wood. I've never been here before but was told that it's a BBQ/Tex-Mex food restaurant. If that's the case, then you are already cooking with wood of some kind but not cooking your fajitas with that same wood? Nothing was bad but nothing was outstanding either, so it's a 2½ stars place for me.

Came here for a good Tex mex meal and wasn’t impressed. It was your run of the meal Mexican food nothing special. Kinda bland and room temperature. The chips were stale and the salsa was very tomato flavored no spice at all. I was kinda surprised at the Bible verses every where yet there is a full blown bar kinda ironic I guess. It’s good if you got no other options.

I really was looking forward to homemade salsa and fresh chips as my girls friends and I had set a date to meet here a few weeks back, and the night finally arrived! However, the salsa was not great. The chips were okay, didn’t taste fresh. The salsa tasted like a can of off-brand tomato sauce with a few sprigs of cilantro thrown in for the fun of it. Very bland. So we all asked for the spicy salsa. It tasted like pinto beans with a hint of spice. In summary, it tasted like a bunch of old white people complained about too much flavor and this is what they serve now. Disappointing. Not Mexican at all. On contrast, the birria tacos were a bit better. They actually tasted like they may have been freshly made. I added onions and cilantro to mine for more flavor. The dipping soup was bland, didn’t use it. And the rice was bland. The service was good. We were seating immediately as we got in right before a whole crowd started. I noticed on our exit the parking lot didn’t have enough spaces, people were circling just waiting for someone to leave. I was thinking WHY? ITS NOT WORTH THIS HYPE! I guess people have never had good Mexican so they have nothing to compare to. I don’t see myself coming back. If you’re looking for more authentic Mexican, drive to Roanoke’s Los Molcajetes. It’s so much better.

70 %bad 30% good The nicest part of my experience here was the lady that cleans the table got me some chips n salsa but Jesus come on people make it a lil more authentic allot of the food i had dam near tasted like on the border n the salsa here just tasted like tomatoe sauce where is the heat or spice spent 78 on dinner n I ended up getting sick from it i should have just ate at home on top of everything when I got homr my food was already cold not very appealing eating a cold meal told me be there in 20 mins I was there in 15 min waited aboit 10-15 min bar tender handed me a silver plate but it was already cold on the bottom I should have knew something bad was happening but I just went home cause I was hungry

We arrived at the restaurant at 6:45ish, we got our drinks ordered and it took quite a while for our waitress to come back to get our food order. At 7:41 is when our food officially came out, everyone at the tables food was cold. I didn’t send my back because by that time I was hangry and wasn’t waiting another hour to eat and just go home. A child and an adult sent theirs back for it to be made and brought back within 10 minutes. It wasn’t even our waitress to bring the food out.. when it was time to go pay we expressed our concerns with the manager in which she said “well you still ate the food didn’t you??” The food was alright, it just would’ve been better warm. At least learn to bring out the kids dinner first before everyone else’s is ready…. Terrible service. Overall a 2/10 expirence.
