While the coffee is always very Starbucks likes but what sets this one apart is the staff. A crew of good caring people, who knows regulars on a first name basis, can always whip something up for the pup.
The staff here are great. They get drinks out quickly, and they’ve been consistent in quality and accuracy on the orders. The atmosphere is wonderful, too. I definitely recommend!

This location is always swamped but they do their best to get everything to the customers as quickly as possible. My drink and sandwich were lovely.
Quick service with a smile. But did not have butter for my Toasted bagel. 😟 Seems like butter should be a well stocked item.
My family loves this place. It's so good it's addictive. No doubt that I wish the prices were lower but maybe we are all better off that the price is a little high or else we would overdose.

As far as Starbucks go this one was great! I had some work to do since the wifi at my hotel is nonexistent so I sat around here for 3 hours. Staff was friendly and the manager took great care of me. Making me a pretty creative coffee drink for my picky mood. Place was clean throughout.
toni is such an amazing barista! i love his little outfits and what warm personality he has! if you need any advice or tips from him on what to get, he has all the bean juice knowledge! their silly lil barista jargon and terminology is so silly. i love going about my day being understanding that everyone is human and that customer service can be so exhausting sometimes, but i'm only in and out for a second and going on with my day :)
Fast service, very patient and knowledgeable, got my order of 8 right! I ordered a latte venti sized with caramel syrup. Tasted amazing. They had cake pops that I liked, so thank you!
As a toerist in a not so touristy area was surprised how nice it was en how friendly everyone seemed to be. Really loved this place and when I’m on a road trip in the USA I definitely consider to visit Del Rio (Starbucks) again
Came in for a cup of coffee and catch up work emails for a couple of hours and was pleasantly greeted upon entering by energetic employees. My coffee was prepared quickly and efficiently well. I had the pleasure of hearing the crew sing along with the songs to the soundtrack that were playing. They obviously have heard it many times. Because they all seemed to know the lyrics. They harmonized so well together. Having planted myself in a small corner with a good view of other customers, I could see the ones without masks were smiling too. It was good to walk into a happy environment. Before I left i thanked a young woman named Breena (sp?) For the beautiful morning start. This Starbucks is close to shopping areas and right on the main road into town. You can't miss it and I highly recommend a morning visit for the free concert
bro i walk in and they have my drink ready without me even ordering. they have all these nice drinks on the counter and like my name isn't luis but that's okay! maybe next time they'll get it right! and when i leave they're always like "ma'am!!!" but im always in a rush so i probably think they're telling me to have a nice day :3 they even have my picture up in the bulletin board with "WANTED" and im like awwwww thank you! i've never been wanted before!
The great coffee alone makes it worth the trip. However, I enjoyed sitting outside on the patio soaking in the sun while sharing a morning with friends without feeling rushed. The batista that helped me too was wonderful and made light conversation which made me feel welcome and more than just "another customer". I will definitely be back.
Mel is such an awesome barista at the Del Rio Starbucks. He goes out of his way to make each guest feel at home. While my friend and I were having a meeting, he continuously checked in on us and refilled her in house cup of coffee. I haven’t seen this kind of exceptional service at a Starbucks in YEARS! Keep up the amazing hospitality Mel!!

My boothixxle bought us a pink drink and that was so good to the soul after a lil night of getting dehydrated lol balance is key people . I had the pink drink at the store in a bottle and the one made at the ship is everything the bottle is not. Trust and believe

Yesterday my mom picked up 3 lattes for me and my sister. One was mixed up. However, went again today and the gentleman at the window was very kind and courteous. All 3 were correct :-) Busy place, but always great coffee and the service was good (despite minor mistake)
I stop here sometimes. Never had any issue. Everyone is nice, place is always clean, staff does their job w ease, they have never have gotten an order wrong (all of which is not to common of experiences in fast food in this town), and are they are prompt inside the store and in the drive through. :-) <3 ;-)
It's a typical Starbucks with a friendly staff and clean environment. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee, they have it here. The only downside is that this location gets so overwhelmed with business so the drinks and foods get stacked on one another pretty much at the counter. It's kind of chaotic in the mornings.
I'm never disappointed with my order. However, I wish they were more reliable as far as their hours and being opened. One day they are closed, next opened, then hours change all the time. I feel customers should feel confident everyday that the store will be open.
I really enjoy Starbucks, but I’ve noticed a consistent difference in drink quality depending on the time of day. The evening shift always seems to get my order just right — the coffee tastes fresh, balanced, and made with care. However, the morning shift hasn’t been as reliable. The coffee often tastes rushed or off-balance, as if they’re trying to push drinks out too quickly during the busy hours. I get that mornings can be hectic, but the quality drop is noticeable compared to evenings. I’d love to see more consistency between shifts because when the drinks are made well, this location is great. Hoping the morning team can bring their quality up to match the evening crew!
Strange menu that seems like an inside joke. Smells great. Drip coffee smells and tastes faintly like a cigarette butt. Free WiFi. Sometimes there are many people there with computers.
I'm not much off a Starbucks person but when I do go this place is on top of everything never have any problems with the place just the customers they drive so damn crazy with no patience so make sure your having a good day lol
Kinda snippy attitudes are consistent and they definitely don't like you tell them how many shots to put in a black eye even if they don't do it right If there was another Starbuck s in this town I would go out of my way to avoid this one.
FYI SEPTEMBER 19th...The Wifi at this Starbucks location in Del Rio is having issues. At this this the wifi does not work. I was told it's been out for a week now,, and will most likely be like this for a while. DO NOT COME.TO THIS LOCATION EXPECTING WIFI.
They're slow and always make my iced coffee hot, even though I say iced. Even if a customer doesn't mention a temp, the employee should confirm, not assume. Please improve customer service.
Starbucks is nice but this business really doesn't have much going outside of their coffee. It would be nice if they hosted small events like book signings or have small gatherings for the local community.
This Starbucks location is cozy and friendly. The staff needs to work on cleanliness, but other than that, it's ok. There's plenty of parking. The staff greeted me with a smile and promptly delivered my order.
The staff informed me that they didn’t have any napkins or cutlery. I can understand no cutlery, but how does a food and beverage restaurant get away with not providing any napkins?! Walmart next door has paper products that could be made available to guests dining in if shipments are delayed!
Haven't gotten an order right yet. Although we did get a pup cup offered the last time. The drinks are not worth the hype.

For being the only Starbucks in town, the crowds never really go away. Order via the app and just pick it up inside. It'll be 100x quicker.
I truly enjoy Starbucks. The coffee drinks are great and the food is OK my favorite is the Loaf cakes. The only reason I rate it low is the service in Del Rio is always extremely slow.
Staff had a bland attitude and very seldom smiled. I and my family sat down to a sticky table and had to wipe it down ourselves. Was there for over an hour and not once did staff come out and wipe any tables down.

I live in eagle pass but I go very often. The service is really bad!! I was standing next to the counter like 5 min to ask a question and the girls were pretending that they didn't see me lol and the cashier was in a bad mood also that pissed me off I think that's not professional at all. I liked the coffee though.
They forgot to make my coffee. I was just going to return the coffee and leave since I had already finished with some bussines to take care of over the phone. Then realized I didn't have a receipt. So I asked for the coffee. Got it, no one bothered to apologize. Then the lady next to me had to ask for her coffee as well since they forgot hers. Not even busy at this time. I dont know what's going on.
This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Not even the Starbucks in the big cities take this long to serve through drive thru. I come here regularly as it is the only starbucks in the area and I time my wait in the drive thru every single time. It is never short of 20-25 minutes EVERY SINGLE TIME. It’s called drive thru for a reason. I give it two stars because the staff has always been kind in manner.
Sign says they open at 530 but didn’t open doors til after 6.... good ol Del Rio customer service. Common practice here. Guess when you have good coffee you don’t have to worry about having good customer service.
Have been to starbucks all over the country. We ordered 7 beverages in the drive through. We felt like we were bothering the window employee by asking for a carrier (which he said they were out of) and cup sleeves. Service here disappointing and cost him a tip.
They are usually okay, but we noticed this last time we ordered delivery, and they did not put our food or drinks in a sealed bag. They literally left it in those white unsealed bags they keep the food in. If y'all don't have proper bags, then you probably shouldn't be accepting delivery orders.
They gave us the wrong pastry and took a while to finish an americano with cream. While they continued to make what appeared to be order ahead drinks though none were getting taken from the counter, I waited 15-20 mins for mine. There were other people in the store but everyone seemed already to have their drinks

Your plane coffee is so bad. Go to MCD for a good coffee. All your stores the same. The worse burnt coffee i ever tasted . The people are great. Lean how to make coffee.

My Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew had so much creamer and my protein box was frozen. Regular Starbucks customer in another state and never had I had a frozen box, disgusting.
I sat in line at this location for over 30 minutes, when I finally reached the window the girl refused to accept a $100. There is no signage saying they don't accept cash or can't make change. Worst starbucks experience I have ever had.
Ok so.. The people working in this place have an attitude not suited for this kind of environment. The couple times I have got my coffee there I have to wait at least 5 mins in line when there is no actual line. They seem too busy with drive thru, and not pay attention to the customers. Also they always make the wrong orders. This is not what Starbucks is about.
Didn’t say card readers was not working which is fine I had cash . The girl took forvever to get my change and didn’t even give me correct change back and had me wait for a manager to get her ones and she didn’t even give me any she gave me a bunch of quarters so I waited for nothing

Ordered a skinny cinnamon latte with my birthday coupon. Saw barista pouring hot water in a cup(I'm thinking for drive thru) turns out it was mine. My drink tastes like hot water and steamed milk.😕
I could never come back here. I went to the restroom and trash was full and the sanitary trash was full and open with blood. Toilet paper on top of the container with blood on the roll. To top it off no hand towels. Without a clean restroom I can’t trust the staff to be clean themselves.

Not very friendly or informative. I asked for coffee recommendations (anything sweet) and got recommended what I can already see on the menu. I ordered what they recommended and it wasnt sweet at all. I was hoping for a better experience. I love Starbucks but not particularly this location.
The trash can of a teenaged human being serving my daughter and her friend today is the reason I'm changing my previous 5-star rating down to 1-star. There was zero reason to slam my daughter's food down and purposely not secure the lid to her drink, causing her to make a mess you then *didn't* help clean up. Especially when the employee attitude had nothing to do with my daughter's interactions with them. The only reasons she could think of for the disgustingly low customer service experience was that she didn't tip and that this employee may not have liked the other girl she was with. First of all, if you make at least minimum wage, you *don't* automatically get tipped. Tipping is for service above and beyond what is considered STANDARD customer service, of which they clearly failed to provide. Second, the employee's personal beef with her friend - as evidenced by the sneer you gave her as she walked in - is no reason to take it out on ANY customers. Third, I honestly feel bad that my rating now reflects the embarrassingly low quality of service she experienced today, but if this is the caliber of employee that is kept on staff, I will never return to this location.
Honestly the worst! Slower than molasses,their drive through line is always 15 cars deep. I've ordered coffee off the mobile app, just to drive up and they are closed and then refuse to refund my money. Today, I ordered from the mobile app and the doors are shut and I have to go through the drive through just to get my mobile order coffee, which completely defeats the purpose of mobile ordering.
When we went to this Starbucks. The line was a little long so when we got to the speaker we told them we'll give them time to catch up so it's not overwhelming. They said it was completely fine. So we waited a little bit and then finally said we were ready. Everything looked good on the screen so we continued. When we got to the window, we were getting our coffees. And I was excited for mine. The salted caramel cream cold brew. When I sipped it, it tasted like straight up black coffee. No caramel in it like you'd expect for it to have since its in the title... so I asked the guy if it had caramel and he looked at me like I was slow and took the drink and put like 2 pumps of caramel.... it still tasted like straight black coffee. I tried to mix the caramel at the bottom to see if it would taste a bit better to give it a chance. NOPE. Still bad. I asked how everybody's coffee was tasting and they said it either tasted like water or just strong black coffee. We all went to the gas station to try to fix it. We simply couldn't. I had to throw mine away bc I couldn't stand the blank, Bitter taste that it shouldn't have. And they gave us chikfila straws. It's kinda funny it feels like it's not real the whole situation. And the fact that the five people in my car said THEIRS didn't taste right didn't make it better. But I hope that they do better.
Requeted topping cream with my mocha, she said its there! We left and I open it in my car to check because didn't tasted like it was any...and NOTHING! I had politely asked! Well, I see that when its a long drive-tru line and crowded the staff can't handle make customers happy with such a simple request 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡‼️ I have enjoyed Starbucks for years, but this location is really disappointing 😕
This place has very friendly workers and very clean shop. But im sad to say that they are just not consistent with their drinks. They're are almost always not made the way they should be. I've paid for foam and not gotten it, gotten machiatto without the syrups, watery Frappuccinos. I know everyone is entitled to make mistakes and that's fine. I just don't think it's worth paying for anymore. I don't always have time to go and get it corrected, which I know they'd do without hesitation. I hope they can get better
Pretty incredible that a coffee place wouldn't open until 7:30 AM. I got stuck in this town overnight, and all I wanted was to be able to start my day with a decent cup of coffee, but by the time I realized it was all drive-through, there was a long line of cars waiting for the store to open. Why not just open earlier to accommodate customers with, like, jobs and stuff? Now I'm at a damn gas station getting dirt water
Worst Starbucks I have ever been to. I ordered a Sugar Free Vanilla Frappuccino and it had no coffee in it. So they remade it and it still basically had no coffee in it. It just tastes like Vanilla.
This location has employees close the shop early when the manager is not around. They didn’t open the door when it was 30 mins prior to closing. Overpriced coffee for bad service. No thanks. I’m done buying my coffee at Starbucks.
Went and ordered drinks with my 2 sisters, they both got their drinks about 5 mins after ordering, which to me is an appropriate wait time. I waited a little longer for mine to come out. A lady that looked like the manager came up to me about 10 mins later and asked if I ordered something and I told her my drink order again. She walked away, I assumed to make my drink, but instead went to a table and got on her laptop. Probably close to another 15 mins went by of me standing at the counter, and no one asked if I had gotten my drink. When I leaned over to ask the guy behind the counter (the same guy I ordered with at the cash register) he acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about and him and another female worker told me that they were going in order of who ordered first and they was really busy, in a sort of snippy tone. When I ordered 30 mins previously there was no one else behind me and it was not busy. I just didn’t appreciate how I payed for a drink and then had to stand there and wait for almost right at 30 mins, and then after asking 2 different times about my drink, they were not very friendly about me being kind of upset. I get that sometimes orders are forgotten, and I wasn’t asking to get my money back, but they didnt handle the situation well in my opinion. Probably won’t go back due to the lack of friendliness and patience with their guests. They shouldn’t have acted irritated with me, it should have been the other way around.
Sat down to study but they were playing music so loudly, I had to ask them twice to turn down the music. By the second time I had to ask, I was fed up and left. My drinks were made wrong. I ordered two strawberry açaí refreshers and they tasted watered down, especially when I asked for light water. They don't measure the concentrate in a cup. They have a pitcher that has the concentrate and water already made and that's probably why they tasted watered down. All they do is put freeze dried strawberries and shake them in a plastic cup. I asked for a receipts but the barista said they ran out of receipt paper. They have boxes out by the entrence that are in customers way and those boxes have been there for two days already. I know because I came yesterday and back today. I had a bad experience and to top it all off, this is the ONLY Starbucks in Del Rio so where do I go now?
I've been here 3 times in the past 2 days. Ordered in person once and twice with mobile order. I ordered 2 white chocolate mochas, one with whip and one without. Both have came with whip all 3 times and when I ask the barista all she says it's oh sorry I didn't know. Even though the label on the cup clearly says no whip...
The wait time in the drive through is ridiculous! They need to do something to speed it up..
Very unpredictable service. I am a massive SB fan but they are constantly closed *during* business hours and always understaffed. Drinks are not consistent and they will allow you order via the app for pickup but then lock the doors forcing you to wait 20 min in the drive thru for a drink that was pre ordered and pre made.
Great staff, very friendly. However the slowest service for Starbucks I’ve ever encountered. They need to fix driveway as it is like driving over a curb to get into the drive thru because it worn away.

20 minute wait for a cup of coffee and others were waiting as well. A good amount of ppl came in and got their drinks within 5 minutes after my order and some who ordered before me. This starbucks absolutely sucks on customer service and prioritizes the drive-thru line than inside customers. Make the order on first come service.
This location kicked us out not only once but two days in a row. The store hours say they close at 10pm but for some reason they kicked us out at 6pm. The employees were rude about it and said “if you are not waiting for an order I am going to have to ask you to leave”. We had just gotten our simple order of banana nut bread that took them 30 minutes to get to us, when they kicked us out.
Some days the service is better than others But it's ok they get their job done regardless My updated review is that customer service was very bad today. I'm so upset !! My drink was made incorrectly yesterday, and I explained what was wrong with it. A girl who answered yesterday told me it's just the way I ordered it is the reason it seems wrong I explained to her I just ordered the same exact drink the day before. At the end she said I could go by today and have it redone SO I DID but when it's done my drink was the only one that was called out super Loud and when I pick it up she asks me very loudly and sarcastically as well "you want to try it AND MAKE SURE IT TASTES RIGHT" I just wish I had taken a picture of the drinks to show her it really was wrong I honestly think she got upset cause in the moment that I called to let them know the drink was wrong I did directly blame one girl cause it always happens when she is their and I pick up through drive thru Ugh I'm so upset because I literally go 3 times a week I know how the drinks look and taste
This is the slowest service, most unpredictable hours, and worst Starbucks experience I’ve ever been to. It is TYPICAL for this store to take 30 minutes to make your drink if you order in person, which is usually the only option because their order ahead app is consistently “unavailable”. This store is randomly CLOSED when the hours on google show it should be open. And the “customer service” is terrible - if you ask about your drink after 20 mins they glare at you and say “it’s being made”. This store definitely does NOT meet normal Starbucks standards.
Every time I been coming in to Starbucks anywhere the restrooms are so filthy. Today I came in to the store number 22820 and the restroom was filthy as usual. Starbucks started off very good but now it seems like Starbucks employees do NOT CARE. Sad. Thinking of not coming to any Starbucks at all. I have pictures to prove it as well. I will save them in case I get contacted to show proofs.
Disgusting- both the service and hygienically. Walked in stood at the counter for several moments while about 5 employees behind the counter act like we don’t exist- not because they were all tending the drive thru, but just huddled up and conversing between each other. By the time we had to ask to be served, all I wanted was hot water for my throat (there were flies all behind the counter!) and the girl take the order and walks off. Finally she asks me why I’m still standing there and I tell him I’m waiting for the hot water which is right behind the counter. No apologies, no cares, 🤦🏾♀️ I didn’t appreciate the experience. I’m glad I didn’t spend any money, if you are going through the drive thru- take a minute and walk in… it’s gross.
I am deeply disappointed with the customer service provided by this store. My sister visited the store today to redeem a beverage with her rewards for her birthday. Unfortunately, the cashier assisting her at the window scanned her app with her birthday reward and proceeded to charge her the full price for her drink. When brought to the cashier’s attention, she refused to rectify the situation and advised my sister that she should have informed her that she wanted to use the reward prior to her charging us. Upon contacting the store to inquire about a refund or any possible resolution, one of the shift supervisors insisted that no action could be taken and repeatedly instructed us to contact the corporate number. Fortunately, the corporate representative was able to assist us and issued an apology on behalf of the store. This experience significantly complicated a straightforward situation and has led us to reconsider visiting this store again. I am confident that if we had been in the Eagle Pass store, this issue would not have arisen, and they would have provided us with the necessary assistance without any difficulty. Whenever an issue arises at this store, they have consistently provided exceptional assistance without any difficulty. I would rather drive to Eagle Pass to receive the high-quality customer service we require than to visit the Del Rio store.
Update: So my review remains the same only it's getting worse. The customer service there needs a slap to the back of the head. They can't follow an online order. I went in and my order has little to no whipped cream or cookie crumble. I had to go in and ask for .ore toppings be cause it looked sad. Also it says line cup mocha of which they did not do. They acted high and mighty when I asked they give me more toppings to which the girl working there started smirking like a hoity toity Gen Z. Everything else is great but when you have employees that can't do their job or think it's okay to scoff in the faces of their guests, makes one not want to return. So glad a Dunkin Donuts is being built. Seriously, really need to re train your staff on their customer service skills or fire them.
If you open the store, you should take orders inside as well as drive through. No one came over to help. I ended up leaving.
Ordered 2 caramel ribbon crunch 1 venti 1 Grande. when I got there I had two grundas ready, I explained that I had 1 ventil 1 Grande, so I eneded up waited an extra 20 minutes for my venti.. was watching the girl behind the counter not follow my order at all, no 2% milk & no caramel crunch.. I was lucky I even got caramel, they seemed bothered to be there working.. so I got my drink and left, not going there anymore, I'll wait to get 1 in Uvalde Starbucks instead 🙃
This is the worst starbucks I have ever encountered in my life my drinks are always wrong and your staff doesn’t have good customer service they act like they are clueless.
can't make a sweet tea to save their lives.. 3 teas i bought all wrong... smh
This Starbucks location is not open and is being torn apart. It is a rubble construction sight. Not sure if it is going to be rebuilt or is just being torn down but they are not open and the interior of the building is gutted. So disappointing since I have been on the road for over 4 hours and was really looking forward to this stop. Too bad.
Copying and pasting from my spouse’s report to Starbucks corporate. The way this place is managed is truly subpar. Ridiculous. Former avid daily Starbucks customer until I moved to Del Rio. Oh my! The drive thru & in person experience - excruciatingly painful. *slow as molasses in a freeze service all around *drive thru wait appears intentionally slow *drive-thru person to even greet 1 appears to be milking the clock 2-3 minutes *instruction to pull to window for order ahead takes 2+ minutes *consistently out of food items, various milks, Splenda, syrups, pumpkin cold brew, etc *interior is dirty when I've gone in after losing my patience waiting in the drive-thru *For the most part, the barista or whomever just places drinks on the counter. Damn, if only I could read minds. *the accuracy of purchased drinks is completely avoidable; example, ordering a simple cafe latte w/ 1 Splenda, whipped cream & almond milk and the Splenda & whipped cream are missing when it's on the order ahead label or ordered extra espresso shots. On 8/25/24 at approx 10:07 am, drive thru - closed & order ahead unavailable, 7 customers were waiting inside the store to place an order with 1 register including a drive thru employee. Seriously. The fastest drive-thru wait I experienced in Houston was 7 cars in the drive thru which took 3 minutes for me to reach the window. 1 lady had 4 drinks, another paid with cash. No wonder Starbucks revenue is down. Thank God for my rancilio espresso machine and vario coffee bean grinder. There should be a sensor near the trash along with cameras recording how long customers wait in line along with a camera recording just how long drive thru employees take simply to greet customers. Where is management. I’ve never seen them. Where is management, team lead, shift leader or whatever.
