This is a great place went there at 10:00 pm and they ran out of chicken i asked the manager if she could make use fresh chicken we came a long ways for it and she said yes they made us fresh chicken and my friend ordered chicken also they made us a 16 piece and she ordered a 12 piece and we came from the high desert in the yucca area. It was a awesome dinner it's been 2 years because they closed ours down. It was better then what we could have gotten at ours when they were open I want to say Thank you to the guy working and the manager for taken care of us and just being great. We will be back. You guys rock. They know how to run a business and make customers happy..

The food was fresh and fast and very yummy!!!! I don't like the self service, And some customers are very disrespectful to the employees that work very hard ( I yelled at an older female customer because she was standing at the counter and just threw her trash on the floor. )

Quick n hot Totally took me by surprise as my assumptions were to wait there for a while because the line was extremely long. It appeared that they were completely stocked and ready for the dinner rush and was able to get not just me but the entire line out in a quick manner and with fresh food in our bags

Stay away from this place. Everytime I go there is a long line. I'd like to not see everyone in front of me. I love the sandwich. They should do what Ford did. Dropkick the biscuit.. bucket . Just make chicken sandwiches. and maybe stay open after 7. 👀

I found myself in DT DHS with 45 minutes to kill so I decided to have lunch at the local KFC on Palm Ave. I had heard that they brought back the "boxes" like after COVID. And I wanted to check them out. I couldn't find them on the outside menu board but fortunately the young lady on the speaker asked if I wanted to try the new $7 Box meal. I said yes and asked her what was in it. She said there was a 2 piece and 3 piece. I asked about the 2 piece. She told me what was in it and I told her that's what I would have. The car at the window was just leaving and I pulled up and offered my credit card. It was taken and charged and returned to me. She gave me my Pepsi and my bag of food. I pulled into the parking lot and began to eat my meal. The first thing I noticed was how huge the mashed potatoes were. According to the menu they are 8 oz of potato and gravy. That's incredible seeing as the menu used to include maybe a 4 oz serving (if not 3). The next thing I looked for was my spork. There it was. Tasted the potatoes and they were good but just a wee bit off. Maybe they put a little more pepper in the recipe. Still good tho. Then on to the chicken. I feel so sorry for the young chicken that lost its life for my meal box. The drumstick was tiny. 3 bites at most. Tasted again a bit off. Maybe another recipe change. Not bad just not exactly as I remember it being. But the size of the drumstick was so small, I decided to take a photo of it. It should be attached here. The thigh however was a perfectly proper size for a fried chicken thigh. Again tasty. The addition to the menu were 2 bites of a baked apple pie item that got most of its flavor from the same place the original McDonald's apple pie got its flavor because they tasted almost identical and that's not a bad thing at all. Looking forward to getting the bigger version. As I said I liked the food. Without the drumstick being miniature they would have gotten all 5 stars.

The last two times I’ve used the app to order and been through the drive through to pick up they’ve forgotten to give me food items or dipping sauces that I paid extra for. Over the past couple of years they’ve forgotten things a few times. This is the only fast food place that has done that in recent memory. I guess I should get in the habit of checking the order when I get it. On the other hand they are always friendly and helpful when I ask for things.

Mashed Potato's and gravy was yuck! Received packs of ketchup and hot sauce, with an order of mashed potatoes? Not for my order. Oops on the workers for giving me 15 packets of each. That cost the company a lot of money on products.

Haven't had kfc in years. Definitely not what I remember. I had the tenders and they were weird....I came across hard and/or chewy pieces in them...ew! Coleslaw was really runny....just didn't do it for me. Service was good, though.

Food is great. Chicken cooked just right. Juicy not all dried out. Staff very nice. Place is ckean. But I gave it a 3 because the clientele are scary plus bathrooms were occupied for a looong time. Next time will just drive through. Love KFC.

We went to the dine in. Limited seating but we found a spot. The staff were doing their best, but it was slow. I think the drive through was their priority. We asked for honey and salt. Forgot that. No lids for our drinks. The food was hot, but the drumsticks were dinky. I don't think they had enough staff. Doing their best. But too slow .

It's fairly expensive and doed not have very many specials I'm interested in. I also don't recall being asked if I wanted original or crispy like I had been during previous visits. I do like how their original recipe tastes when I bake it in the oven to crisp up the skin. Perfect balance of texture and seasoning.

Disappointed, the cashier was pleasant, our order was taken and served promptly our chicken was lukewarm, macaroni was warm the mashed potatoes were warmer the biscuit was small hard and dry, I dont remember the biscuits being like that, anyway not satisfying at all :( it was around 8:30pm on a Sunday night maybe that's why.

KFC is KFC but it just seems the prices are higher than they should be. $25 for an 8 piece meal is high. They're not that golden to charge outrageous prices for sub par food. I visit at least once or twice a month but I think that number will drop dramatically.

Food was falling apart after first bites like cmon mane cant even enjoy it

Whenever I think about crispy chicken, I usually visit here, but tonight they gave me wrong chicken for drivethru. And the drink (mountain dew) tasted pretty bitter without any sweetness. I threw the drink right away. And hopefully they take care of customers drinks better next time.

I'm not trying through shade or anything but the the chicken was not fresh the sides were not fresh the associate with kind of disinterested the place wasn't particularly clean I think after COVID people just don't like doing their job anymore I wouldn't either but they've got I don't know why but it's like they don't want to see customers anymore even that's where they're even though that's where they make their money but there's room but there's room but there's room for but there's room for but there's room for improvement KFC in desert Hot Springs for sure

So I forget they serve Pepsi product. I asked for a large Coke oh I forgot you don't have Coke is Pepsi fine no make that a Sierra Mist. Also large Dr Pepper both drinks light ice. I get to the drive-through window and I am charged for 3 drinks. Like what part of no make that a Sierra mist was not understood? I got charged over $3 for a drink I didn't want. Then to add to the matter when I get home my son said he was thirsty enough he'll take both Sierra mist and the Pepsi took a sip of the Pepsi and said it tasted nasty. I tasted it and it tasted gross. Thanks KFC!

The Microphone on drivethru is old and you have to yell and repeat every single thing Original chicken is always saggy almost undercooked. Fries are always hard. Biscuits are always hard. Don't you dare ask for KFC sauce or anything extra because they are stingy with that. They remodeled and still have the same ordering headsets speakers and microphones.

Number one they looking at me as if I’m bothering them to pack my order number to the rushing me out they forget to give me a ranch and they forgot my drink to my kids meal every time I go to this location at night their customer service is always horrible. I try to call the phone and number is disconnected. I will definitely go to a different KFC if you wanted great customer service because you won’t get that here.

My favorite dish at Kentucky Chicken was the pot pie🧐 now the price has gone up and it's half filled with a couple of strips of chicken, a bunch of potatoes & carrots. The pie crust is still very good. The girl also told me everything was in the bag. Well, I guess they no longer give you napkins or utensils🧐🤔 very disappointed

Had pretty good service here till today. I tried to make two orders at the drive thru like I always do because I'm a caregiver and buy for two households(mine and my patient's). Now they won't, you have to get in line again. That's ridiculous!! They know me there by now because my patients want it at least twice a week!! This is BS. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TODAY!!!

Purchased over $30 worth of food, and was disgusted at what we received. I understand this restaurant closes at 9pm, but if we showed up at 8 pm there is no reason why we should have received reheated, inedible food. Absolutely disgusting, the first bite made us spit it out. I have never seen such a thing.

I've always loved KFC Until went to desert hot springs. Store is dirty bathrooms filthy tables dirty. With food on them and worst chicken ever had. I tried the new So-Called Bbq chicken huge sandwich. It was disgusting! No bbq sauce at all. Cicken was fine extra crispy with pickles and cheese not melted. It's Not a barbeque chicken sandwich!!!! The mecican girl at register could Not count change back to me when I paid in cash.

KFC screwed up again. When I went home with my food it was wrong stay in long line drive thru, and I had to go back I try to call them no answer call 6 times. So I went back thank God lobby was open, they fixed my food. But its just a little annoying when your having one of those days and it hot out. They where kind enough to give me what they did on top of what I paid for. I did let them know to please get there phone working or answer the phone.

Do not come here if you value your time or money. Our experience was EXTREMELY disappointing. The manager, Mia, provided very poor customer service and refused to correct an order after her employee made a mistake. As a manager, resolving staff errors is part of the job, yet she chose not to help and instead wasted our time and money… This location frequently changes managers, and based on this experience, it’s not surprising. Professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service were all lacking. Management needs serious improvement. Do better, DHS KFC.
