Bourbon bacon cheese burgers 🍔 were yummy, 1/4# &1/2# are both huge and very filling for husband and I. Happy hour from 2-5pm is great.....Chicken strips, onion rings and zucchini sticks. Make sure you get extra ranch to have enough dipping sauce. Love their ranch. 😋

Crispy Chicken BBQ Ranch Salad.....huge & absolutely Delicious!!!! Ingredients are so fresh. The fried onions & fresh bacon bits are dynamite. The Farmers Omlet or Sausage Breakfast Burritos are my favorite breakfast which is served all day. Highly recommended.

My 3 stars for the food was because they have commercialized their fish , I loved how it was before and now the fish is not the same , but their menu still shows as the old fish was . That was my only reason to go there , was the fish simple , taste. And made right for me . I grew up in the Walnut area and Farmer Boy's was always my favorite non-Asian dining option in the area. Good food prepared fresh, reasonable prices, and spacious interior for a classic sit-down dining experience. Doesn't really matter if you get a hamburger, burrito, platter, salad, fries, onion rings or whatever else, they're all good or better. I don't think I've ever had a bad item on the menu. I recently moved back home after nearly 3 years and I'm really glad to say that it's just as good as I remember it, just slightly pricier. May this gem never change!

Omg it was perfect. So my favorite burger is the barn burner and apparently Farmer Boys discontinued it. Not only is that my favorite burger at Farmer Boys, but it's my favorite burger at any fast food place! The employees did everything they could to give me what I wanted, what I CRAVED. I am PMSing and I NEEDED this burger, okay. They swapped the jack for Swiss, like true heroes, and made me a Bangin' burger that was basically the same thing. The customer service was lit fam, and I can see why they are the highest rated FB for like at least 10-15mi. I haven't been to FB in a bit, but hot damn did they make my night. Good job boys

This review is mainly for the staff, hopefully their management reads these. Short story is, service today=5 stars, food=4 stars, and price =2 stars. Actually I came on "national cheeseburger" day where they offer a cheeseburger for $2. Great deal right? Well, I'm hungry and get two to double up the patties and thrown in chili cheese fries (happy hour price) and a large drink. Oh, and I added bacon to one burger. All that STILL came to $14! If the burgers and chili cheese fries were full price I bet it would have been almost twenty bucks. I like going to "high end mom-and-pop" burger joints and I SWEAR they all get their meat and fries and chili from the same place. When I was in Garden Grove I would eat at Angelo's ALL the time. I also liked Tops up in Sierra Madre (or around there). I could get the exact same things there for like $5-$7 cheaper. If you're ever in those areas, those joints are a must visit. So yeah, Farmer Boys food is pretty good but I haven't been here in years, besides for the deal today, because of the price. Just learned of the happy hour. That's the only time I'll consider coming back. But I wanna give a shout out to the crew today. They were crazy busy when I came in at 5:00 but were very pleasant, well attentive and professional. The lady taking my order still gave me the happy hour and answered all my questions even though it was right at five and they were slammed. She later was sweeping the floor and happily wiped down a table for me outside. A younger seemingly Asian girl in braided hair brought my food out to me instead of just calling out my name a few minutes after I went up to ask how long it might be. And I "cut in line" over by the drive through window to order a drink. I was planning on taking the food home when I ordered a half hour earlier but decided to eat on the patio by the time I got my food. I didn't want to wait in the long main line just to get a drink when I had food getting cold. I felt it was reasonable if I pestered him for just a quick drink. He got where I was coming from and without question helped me out. I could see some kid (or even adult) at a major fast food chain saying something like, "ummm, I can't do that sir." So yeah, good staff here today, check it out but maybe come back for happy hour.

This place has really good quality food, with the downside that the food takes longer to make. But I happily wait, because the food is so good. The fried zucchini is the best side to any burger or sandwich!

Only issue is I ordered fresh fruit. Instead of putting it a separate box they put it on top of the eggs and bacon. My eggs were only warm and bacon cold. Fruit not cold. Next time I will tell them to use a separate container.

I haven't been to Farmer Boys in awhile. I was craving their fried zucchini and a wrap that day so I had to make a trip. It did not disappoint as everything tasted fresh and was delicious. This location was busy with the lunch rush and all the food delivery services when we arrived. They took care of everyone as quickly as possible. Thank you to the staff and I need to visit Farmer Boys more often.

I like this location. Food is good. Only thing with the food is onion rings are bland, breakfast burritos had eggshells(ordered 2 different times and they both had eggs shells). Bread of sandwich was too oily or buttery?? Would still order from here, little things like this ruins the experience and I will slowly not order from here.

Ordered their “Double Big Cheese Box”, oh man, they really know how to make a perfect burger; patties smashed cooked medium providing a tender beef burger with lots of lettuce, tomato, onions, and cheese. I think It should be renamed as FB GOURMET Burger. The fries were thick and crispy. There were several types of chilli sauces: Tabasco and Tapatio to enhance the taste of the burgers and fries. The service staff serve your meal to your table. The dining room was nice and clean and stocked with sauces to complement your meal. I sat on the patio and worshipped Instagram for an hour and felt good after to walk back to work. Too much water in the coffee. Not enough coffee. I enjoyed the libation however. That's all 😌😌

First walked in and the smell of sewage hit us in the face. (Bathrooms are to left of entrance). This made the atmosphere yucky 🤮 Cashier took our orders. Team member removed dishes from table but did NOT wipe down table! Restaurant was NOT full. Meals are good. No desire to return to this location until the bathroom drains are cleaned and the stench is gone. This used to be my favorite FB's location but not anymore.

I had a burger combo. Difficulty in getting my order in as I had repeat myself several times to make sure the order was right. The young man was polite but but would repeat back to wrong again and again before he got it right. The best thing about the meal was the fries. I do like there fries but that was the only thing consistent about the meal. Why I can Coke at my location and not here? I don't know. The burger was average and that's sad considering that us supposedly the star of the meal. The place was fairly clean but the tables needed a good cleaning. Another inconsistency. I had had high hopes because my mother lives in the area and I wanted to impress her as she favors In And Out. I don't know but to me the LA downtown location is much better.

Had breakfast here for the first time in a long time. I remember the breakfasts at this location to be good, but today it was not. I ordered the 2-egg breakfast (6.99) sandwich, and it was probably the worst breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The best part was the eggs, cooked ok. But it only goes downhill from there. The bacon was limp, the cheese was gooey and... American cheese? The bun was too soft, to the point where I am asking myself if it's really bread. It was if it was once bread but it somehow melted.

There usually really good here but have been slipping with quality lately. My mom sister and I ordered bacon egg and cheese muffins. They get muffins I got ha hammer bun. Apparently my sister did last time too. I've never heard of a hamburger bun as a breakfast sandwich

The burgers were good. But their zucchini sticks and onion rings are absolutely terrible now. They were incredibly soggy. Won’t ever order those again, especially for the high price.

Service was great however ordered an omelette with hash browns for dine it. When the food arrived it wasn't even hot it was warm as if it sat for awhile. The coffee was hot and decent. For under $20 its ok so might return.

Good burger quality. Love the reward program... that was years ago. Edited from 5 to 3 stars on Jan 27, 2026. Burgers are still good quality. The reward system degraded significantly. There is no longer the free item of your choice on birthdays. The reward points also eliminate the 10$ off to $5 off. Sure blame it on inflation, blah blah bs. So we eat less frequently there now. There is a constant smell of sewage leaking from the restrooms that the staffs are not sure how to get rid of. Now every time we eat inside, we have to wipe our tables due to crumbs or drink spills from previous customers. Yeah we get it, it's fast food. The one female cashier with colorful long nails doesn't seem like she likes to be there, it's always winter with that one. Lastly, stay away from the hash brown and omelet, Omelet tastes like dry cardboard and hash brown is soggy wet.

I ordered a California BLT with fries. The sandwich was mediocre at best. The bread was abnormally small; only two pieces of bacon; old tomato slice; NO AVOCADO; and lots of lettuce to make it look big. That BLT was $10!!!! Next time, I'll just save money by buying my own bacon and make it myself. The fries were crispy like I asked for. Service was good.

I ordered the sourdough chicken avocado (guacamole) comes with bacon, I was disappointed too too much garlic salt on the guac, made the sandwich uneatable, nothing but garlic salt on my taste buds.

I tried out the Farmers burger and tbh it was mediocre at best. Cold ingredients were place directly on the beef and the entire burger was soggy within minutes. The fries taste like frozen fries from any grocery store as well, nothing really sets this place apart from other fast food chains.

First time here. Not a good experience. There was a person taking orders in drive thru and she forgot about me. So I had to ask the person in the speaker to take my order. So my food wasn't ready when I got to the window like the others. I ordered a bacon burrito and was disappointed. Practically no bacon inside! Just a 8 dollar burrito of egg and hash brown 😔

If you're in a hurry or just hoping to get your order in a timely fashion, there are other places. If you've got time, don't have to be anywhere in the next hour, then try your luck. Food was good, but not mind blowing. Portions were great. Will consider my schedule before stopping again.

This isn't a review of just my last visit. I normally don't write reviews based off of one bad experience, but this restaurant seems absolutely incapable of following directions. This is the third time that I have ordered a breakfast burrito with no salsa, the receipt says no salsa, but there is salsa in the burrito. Why can't you follow instructions? These burritos are too expensive, I expect it at least made to order.

I always want to like this place. Walnut needs breakfast restaurants! But today, at 8:35 am, I was asked to wait for HASH BROWNs when I ordered them through the drive through. You would think that at 8:35 am, they would have hash browns up and ready, but NO. I had to wait 10 minutes!

Absolutely the worse drive thru. Four times I've used it and four incorrect orders. Avoid at all costs. They even kept my credit card on one visit. Priceless - can't make this stuff up.

This place is horrible. My family and I stopped for some burgers and fries. My husband ran in while I waited in the car. We took our food home and were so disappointed in the hard, stale burgers and cold fries. We couldn't even eat the food, we had a frozen pizza instead. The next day I notified customer service and waited. I waited and waited... When I finally got a response it was just an apology. The manager asked me to reply which I did. I waited and waited.... weeks passed. Finally I sent another email and got an apology for the delay. Then they had the nerve to ask if I wanted to come and get more food. He told me to let him know if I did. I should have been compensated immediately not pushed aside for a month. I don't know who is training these people but the bad customer service goes all the way up to management.

I can't tell you the name of the girl that was running the front counter today because she wasn't wearing a name tag, short Hispanic girl with braided hair, around 7:10 A.M. She felt that counting the coin in the cash drawer was more more important than taking my order. She would have had me wait five minutes for her to count her coin instead of helping a customer. I approached her two times to place my order, and the second time I told her that she was being rude and she told me she wasn't. I walked away and you lost a sale and a customer. This was worse than going to McDonalds.

The cashier then told me she could not give me my money back and that she would make me another hamburger. I then explained to the rude cashier that I did not want another hamburger and that I just wanted my money back at which time the cashier gave me my money and I left. My over all opinion of this place is that some of the people they hire are rude and have no people skills in dealing with the public. I can only hope that other customers that go to this place are treated better than I was.

Terrible place, ordered the breakfast burrito and what I got was a potato burrito. Darn burrito was all potato hash browns. I got a much better burrito at del taco for a much better price. Farmer Boys is a real disappointment. I expected a breakfast burrito. When you think of breakfast you think of eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, cheese, ham and hashbrowns. All I got was potatos very bland, way less than an egg and a strip of bacon about 3 inches long and thin like a piece of gum. The place smells like a toilet back then and still to this day smells like a gas station bathroom. That FB needs some major changes. Instead of bs responses with no substance how about they explain how they will make it better?

We ordered from the drive-thru, placed the order and asked for certain condiments not be added. After paying, the receipt showed that the condiments were still there. Diana opened the window to hand us our food, We asked if the food had those condiments, she rolled her eyes, pulled out the receipt from the bag she had, read the receipt back and said the burger has those condiments. Do you want me to take them out? We politely advised her no because the person has an allergy to that, could she please remake the burger. Diana rolled her eyes again and shut the window on us. We were furious and knocked on the window, a young lady by the name Bree, advised us that Diana was the manager. We asked Bree to please refund us because we no longer wanted the food. Hopefully corporate or somebody above Diana at this store, looks at this message and rethink about her leadership skills, her customer service abilities are poor. Hope this helps someone else. Food is great, I've never had an issue here but Diana has some personal issues that should not be displayed while on the clock.

We were parked because the food wasn’t ready. We then see other cars get parked. So i’m trying to find the reason for the drive thru. What’s the difference between parking, going inside, and going back to my car and wait for my food? Innout has triple the line for the same if not shorter wait. Best part, they give our food to another car that’s a different color and a different model. And we got parked first. No checking what food. They just handed them the bag. We see the other car touch the food and they go inside because their order was wrong. We go in, and the front desk tells us they were gonna come out with our food, but we stopped them and then they said they’d remake it after trying to give us the same food. We said no, and they gave us our money back. Clown operation for mid food. Outstanding.

I am not satisfied with their quality of food. This is the 2nd time I visited because I wanted to give them a second chance. They have failed both time. In my most recent visit, I purchased a sourdough chicken avocado sandwich combo (drink & French fries) which came out to almost $12. The sandwich was good but the chicken was too small for the bread. The French fries were not fresh and arrived cold. I will not be coming back here.

COLLINS was their UBER delivery driver. According to the UBER tracker Collins stopped TWICE enroute after picking up my order at 2022 hrs. Order was delivered at 2114 hrs. TWO shakes were watery, food was tepid. Selivery tracker claimed Collins had ONE stop prior to mine. WTH, anyhow?

You guys need go change your cash register. On monday march 24th I went for a meal in the drive thru between 4-5 pm and the cashier guy charged me 2 times and he said he charged me those 2 times because the machine was freezing and that my money was going to be back on my account the next day. Today friday march 28th I went to get my money back because I gaved them a week and nothing appeard back. I spoke to their manager JESSICA and she DID NOT give me my money back in full because she said “ITS TOO MUCH MONEY” RATS!!

THE SEWER SMELL INSIDE THE PLACE NEEDS TO BE FIXED NOW IT'S GONE ON WAY TO LONG!!!! The server was kind and happy and took care of us .... The chicken in my grilled chicken sandwich was half the size of the bread AND DIDNT TASTE FRESH!!!! We ate there but we sat outside because of the smell of the bad plumbing problem inside !!! It's the one next to the 60 FWY on Brea Canyon Rd. Fix your business ... you lost mine.

They consider this as 1 chicken strip in the 2 piece meal. Absolutely no chicken all breading. Waited 30 minutes in line for this .

The service was good but the food was Not Good. I ordered 3 friery chicken boxes 2 bacon boy boxes a chicken sandwich combo and a chicken tender box It was 9 pm the lobby was empty and the drive through was too so youd think they put more effort into the food. But No the 3 fiery chicken boxes were sent out with no fries the bacon boy boxes had half a piece of bacon one tray had 4 fries and the othe 5 the sandwich combo had 3 fries and my chicken tender box has 4 fries when I went to tell the cashier, the cook demanded my receipt and said that the boxes don't come with fries but thank God there's pictures to go along with the menu. The cook instead that i was not charged for the fries but the boxes have fries! no need to purchase more. The cashier rang up my order again and told the cook I was right we were given a couple stale fries. The over All meal lacked flavor, not cooked properly and not giving what was advertised. The cook apparently can make changes to the menu and charge extra for something that was already paid for, for 92 dollars I rather go elsewhere. Food 0/10

4/23 ordered chopped salad, no bacon with honey mustard. They didn’t gave me dressing, chicken strips burned and no dressing. Milk no straw. 5/9 today chopped salad same no bacon honey mustard, very good gave me the dressing but where is my hard boiled egg??? Chicken strips burned again. Very disappointed and compared other farmers boy, very frustrated

Fish and chips were tasteless; chicken sandwich was bland, and the ZUCCHINI was HORRIBLY LIMP!!! Couldn’t even save it in the Emeril 😞 😔. So disappointing. I just didn’t expect this from FB. I will NEVER go there again unless they get rid of the Fry Cook whose there after noon and before 2:00 pm
