Been stopping here for many years, especially for breakfast! The food has always been great, but the customer service is some of the best around Downey/South Gate area. They are very friendly and pleasant. Actually carry on a conversation with you even if there is a slight language barrier...people can still communicate...and a smile can make anyone’s day 😃

Friendly staff and clean unisex bathrooms with locks (get code from staff). My nephew and I both had Big Carl's which were hot and fresh. My special order was also exactly how I asked for it.

Peter is a good employee he gives good service, the food was hot & ready without a long wait, the plate was nicely set up and he greeted me in a respectful manner.

They are great, except they seem to put sauce on every sandwich even when I request it dry.

Meand a friend went there and the were polite and turned on the drive thru light so we both could read the menu.

Fried zucchini was soggy and had a chemical taste. Hamburger was great!

The staff aren't that friendly. The restaurant floor was FILTHY. My onion rings were over done and I prefer the green sauce that used to come on the taquitos. I'm allergic to the pico de gallo since it's made with jalapenos.

This Carl's is never busy so your order is fast and typical Carl's Jr, always tasty but expensive compared to other similar places.

I asked to use the bathroom and I was not allowed to use it. The lady who took care of me and another man, have a bad attitude towards the client. I don't understand if the only thing I wanted is to have a good breakfast.

The Superstar isn't as good as used to be. It's okay and the fried zucchini aren't crispy anymore, more soggy breading. The manager was making the food and when I came wasn't cooking but didn't acknowledge me or get someone to take my order.

Both salads we bought had no less than 3/8" of water in them. One was a chicken salad and the other was a beef taco salad.

So, I just drove up only to be greeted with a hand written sign stating that they do not have sodas. I've come to this location for years and it's customer service has greatly declined. I'm not sure if this is a corporate thing or what, but this location should just be either shut down or hire people who are compitant enough to make sure things run adequately.

Was at kaiser an needed to eat something. To start, the fries were cold. There wasn't a line for the drive thru or inside, so the fries must've been sitting for some time before they were given to me. I asked for no bacon and there was bacon on the sandwich. For $14 a combo , not worth it.

3 piece chicken tenders had a fishy taste. Probably because they were fried in oil that was used to fry fish. Don't recommend. The employee at the drive thru window was courteous.

The wait was horrible. Was told when I finally got to the drive-up window that the customer at the window change their order and then to top it off the cook did not prepare their meal correct not once but twice. I was there today (4/24/18) at 3:30pm the store manager was taking orders and she was also helping with the drive-thru. She was really busy with the drive-thru that she forgot my order so I asked her twice so finally I got my order but the fries and burger were cold Anyways they need more people there one person in the kitchen and one in the front is not enough.

I waited 15 min for my steak burrito which sucked bc I was just about late for my appt I didn't get to eat. Finally when I did it had some fake white rice trying to be Mexican rice in the burrito. The rice is sweet tasting and made the burrito HORRIBLE. 😵

This Carl's Jr is one of the slowest and most expensive that I have been to. I went on my 30 min lunch break and it took 20 mins for a spicy chicken and a bean and cheese burrito. I was the only one inside, and only 2 cars in line. The sandwich was fine, but the burrito was not what I expected as I have had much better Beans were hard and dry. The lady that took my order was not friendly, and they are stingy with their condiments. 2 stars only cause the spicy chicken was as you would expect from Carl's Jr.

There's an Amazon locker in the restaurant, but you can't access it because they close at different hours. I just tried to go to the locker and was told it was closed. It was 8:25 on Saturday night.

EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE , the cashier submitted the wrong order, my aunt's and I which were separated orders we had to talk to the manager which wasn't very nice. She was rude and did not know the concept "thecustomer is always right", she rather started arguing with my aunt and I, in the end we did not get our full order but we paid for the whole thing.

Extremely rude. I can understand you can't open exactly at 0600. They probably need prep time and time to be ready. But suggestion change the open time in the window. The thing is the rudeness. The way Elena came to the door so cold and non chalant. We're not going to be open for about 15 minutes. Then she has to rub her nose. I'm standing outside everytime I look in she's touching her nose. Lately I'm praying and eating. Don't have a kitchen right now. She comes out around 6:17 with a broom and dustpan. Just passes by me. She knows I've been standing there waiting. Could acknowledge to say they are now open or how much longer. Instead just walks around the building looking for trash. After 5-10 minutes a customer walked in. Then she walked back in started helping him. I walked in. I asked her if she could wash her hands first after handling broom and dustpan and trash and continually touching her nose. She said I'll wash my hands but what do you want. Really rude nasty energy. I'm standing there very patiently waiting until after the 1st customers order is prepared. Then mine. I ordered 2 breakfast burritos. I saw he misread the order as 1.instead of 2. I patiently waited. No big deal. I started eating there in the dining room. 1st couple of bites something taste kind of off. But I'm eating the burrito with the salsa. Get down towards the bottom and something taste spoiled. Not sure if the cheese eggs or what. Didn't swallow. Wrapped the remainder burrito. Let them know something tasted spoiled in the 1st burrito and I didn't want the other one. They got real disrespectful with me. 1st arguing how can one be spoiled and the other not. Not understanding I don't want the 2nd if the 1st taste spoiled. The man their working who made the burritos who refused to give his name told the woman Elena wash your hands because its probably germs on it. He said that I have germs and "she don't" wash her hands. He literally said that. And I would hope that she shouldn't need to be told to wash her hands after handling something handed back by a customer. They were being so mean I can't even describe . I told the man you should be glad I'm saying something. He really went off flew off the handle we do our inspections etc. Very rudely and angrily towards me. They treated me this way. So I mentioned I'm also going to place in my review how she's using her foot/shoe and straightened something under the counter. Why would you ever use foot to organize any type of kitchen supply or any supply for that matter. It was strange also that she gave me side of pico de Gallo in small drinking cup when I said I didnt want any.. I wanted salsa packets.thats just a side note. I didn't say anything about that. But as rude as they were to me the customer. She tells Me that I need God in my life I let her know that i have God. She then said she's going to call the cops for harassing her. Wow this is ridiculous.. I am the only person in the drive thru and it's taken 15 minutes to get the food the guy taken the order has had to ask 3 time to get it right.. terrible right but.. He said they were short-staffed but then gave us cold fries which weren't asked for It was supposed to be onion rings, he got upset walked away and gave me the middle finger.

The service is slow. The workers & managers are not customer friendly. When interacting w/ the workers, they look at me like I'm speaking a foreign language. (Eng) The workers are not fluent in English. When I asked for a specific order, They acted like they didn't understand me. This Carl's Jr. is not a very well run Carl's Jr. Staff seems frustrated and the place is often understaffed. What staff is there place priority on the drive thru and seem to regard anyone at the counter as an afterthought or an inconvenience. Never once have I been able to order a shake from this location. Food is ok, if there forced to make it, otherwise I suspect they prepare some of their greatest hits in advance to move the line. Do yourself a favor and check out Boy's Burgers across the street, or drive a little further and go to the Carl's on Lakewood/Firestone.

Worst Carl's I've ever been too. Ordered a western burger. Onions rings inside burger were hard to bite. Then I noticed black crud on my pattie. I showed the manager and asked what this was, he replied that it was the residue that the patties leave Inside there cooking machine. I replied cant you guys clean it so it wont come out on the patties. He replied (no). I replied a I see. He went on saying it's normal nothing will happen. I replied (ok I'm just I dont want to end up getting sick). This manager at no point apologized for the way my burger came out. In fact I felt that he just doesn't care about cleanliness, hygiene.

Lowered my rating to one. This was never a very good location but has gotten a lot worse. Several times over the last week they didn't even open on time. Incredibly slow service, and the food tastes stale.

Went in to buy a milk shake. Needed to use locked restroom before making purchase. Asked for restroom key. Told by Alexander, tall skinny 20 something arrogrant worker "No. Its for customers only." Now I have been a customer of Carl Jr's since the 1960's (various locations). Have never been treated this way. Talked to a short, 20-30 something female manager "It's a franchise and corporate cant do anything about it." Then Alexander said "You have to buy something BEFORE using the bathroom." So much for customer friendly service!

Avoid this place. The food quality is terrible and there's even mold in the bathrooms. Do yourself a favor and drive north a couple minutes and go to the Carl's on Firestone. Otherwise do yourself a bigger favor and just go to Steak and Shake since Carl's is just as expensive now.
