I went for my birthday last weekend and the experience was wonderful. The service and attention to detail from the staff were truly outstanding. The dishes are absolutely delicious. I especially want to highlight the service from the waitress who took care of our table and provided detailed information about each dish — Malena. She was very kind and warm. I highly recommend this place!

Shocked this isn’t on the Michelin list (we ate at a 2 star in Dublin and this is better). From the moment you walk in the door, the staff and the ambiance are welcoming. The food is top notch and exquisite. I had the coconut margarita which was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. We collectively tried 6 items on the menu and had not one negative comment. And the desserts, chefs kiss! Incredible from start to finish.

Loved this vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Mostly vegan with a small dairy option. The food was excellent. The flavors sensational. The service and staff superb and the overall experience was satisfying beyond our highest expectations. Everything on the 3 course menu was great but I loved the beans and lentil fritters appetizer, the celeriac schnitzel for entree and the walnut mousse for dessert was all so spot on for the chefs vision to delivery to flavor profile. The textures and savory flavors were such a hit!

I don’t usually write reviews but honestly, we ate here last October and I had some carrots that changed my life. I think I’ll still be thinking about them for many years to come. Divine. I should also mention, we had a fantastic waiter who took excellent care of us and I really felt like he was trying to make the most of our experience. Would highly recommend to anyone (especially vegans) visiting Dublin. Truly lovely!

Such an amazing dinner with super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly servers. The atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for and the vegan options were outstanding. It felt like a very high end experience at a very reasonable price point. Cocktails and wine options were also great. We will definitely be back next time we are in Dublin - couldn’t recommend this place more.

We had a beautiful anniversary dinner at Glas. We were really well looked after by the lovely staff, the food and drink were divine and beautifully presented, and it was very good value for such a high quality meal. The host also gave us an excellent recommendation for a "savage pint of Guinness" at Kehoe's and we went there after our dinner and had an excellent time.

Where do I start?! first this place has certainly mastered elegance, good music and absolutely high scale food and ALL vegan & gluten free! I decided to go with 3-course menu! It’s perfect! I went with lentil kofta (such an amazing dish! highly recommend) with halloumi walnut for main dish and a delicate delicious nut chocolate mousse!!! It was absolutely delicious and perfect The stuff was kind and offered tea on the house to celebrate my birthday!

Great service, we sat at the counter and while leg space is a bit limited, it was good enough for 2 people. Very nice presentation, friendly staff and the Schnitzel is an absolute must.

Went to Glas with two friends for a birthday lunch and was absolutely blown away. We each ordered different dishes and shared everything, opting for the two-course lunch menu at €25 – an incredible price for such an inventive and memorable meal. Every dish was both delicious and thought-provoking. Glas is one of those rare places where every mouthful makes you pause – trying to figure out how each ingredient has been prepared with such care and creativity. Standouts for me were the courgette flower starter and the turnip main – the latter was especially tasty, though I wouldn’t have minded a slightly larger portion. The cocktails were gorgeous, and the staff made the experience even more special. Our server was warm, knowledgeable, and generous with his time, happily answering our questions and explaining each dish in detail. He also went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday – surprising us with an extra starter, a glass of bubbly, and a mini carrot cake taster. Such a thoughtful touch. As someone who’s worked in kitchens, I often leave restaurants in Dublin feeling like I’ve overpaid for food I could’ve made better myself. That is absolutely not the case at Glas. The level of skill, innovation, and care in every dish makes this a true dining experience. Even if something isn’t quite to your taste, you can’t help but appreciate the craft behind it – and to me, that’s what matters. Glas is doing something really exciting with Irish ingredients – breathing new life into them, reimagining the familiar, and clearly loving every minute of it. Their seasonal menu speaks to a team constantly learning and evolving, and I can’t wait to go back and see (and taste) what they come up with next.

10/10. Had the vegan tasting menu and each of the 5 courses were exceptional. Combination of flavours, well seasoned, perfectly cooked. Friendly and attentive wait staff. The only downside is that we leave Dublin early tomorrow and can't go back a second time.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Staff is lovely and ready to help any time. The cocktail "after eight" is a must try! Wheelchair accessible, which was important for us.

I had the pleasure of dining at Glas in Dublin and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. I arrived right as dinner service began and was lucky to be seated immediately—though it didn’t take long for the place to fill up. I highly recommend making a reservation, as it's clearly a popular spot. What stood out immediately was the warm, attentive service. The staff provided an amuse-bouche to start, and each course was introduced with thoughtful detail and care. It’s rare to find such a high level of service paired with such creativity in vegan cuisine. I opted for the three-course dinner and every dish was a burst of flavor. Contrary to some negative reviews I've seen mentioning a lack of taste, I found the food deeply satisfying and skillfully balanced. Starter: Roast dinner squash – rich, hearty, and beautifully presented. Main: Spiced cauliflower with a side of polenta fries – a perfect combination of textures and spice. Dessert: Baked cheesecake – a standout, especially the unexpected yet refreshing hint of cucumber, which added a unique twist. One special touch I truly appreciated was their offering of non-alcoholic wine—a rare and welcome feature that made the experience feel even more inclusive and refined. In short, Glas delivers on every front: exceptional food, elegant atmosphere, thoughtful service, and a menu that proves vegan fine dining can be both exciting and satisfying. I’ll absolutely be back.

Truly delightful dinner experience! Came here for a friends birthday. Made a reservation about a month in advance without any issue. The staff paid attention to our requests and made excellent accommodations. The menu is a choice of 2 or 3 courses. Great prices. Good selection of starters, main courses, and desserts. All items on the menu are also gluten free! Food was terrific and very exciting. Lots of interesting dishes and flavors. The area is very spacious and not loud. It was easy to hear and speak with everyone at the table despite all the other tables being occupied. Would definitely recommend coming here!

We had such a beautiful meal here on Tuesday evening - amazing flavours and colours on every dish we were served. The staff were so thoughtful and explained every dish to us, and were super attentive but not overbearing at all. We only had one vegan in a group of eight but everyone was blown away by the food and enjoyed the whole experience there. Will definitely be making a trip back when I’m in Dublin next!

Excellent value, service & quality. The early bird of 36e for 3 course is class value. The interior is lovely, the staff were prompt & friendly. The menu was inventive & interesting. The dishes are not massive so none of us were stuffed. The cocktails & mocktails were both tasty.

Fantastic food. As a Celiac, I loved that it was all gluten free. The vegan options were delicious as well, especially the mushrooms and ice cream. Just wish eat plate had come with more food.

Probably Dublin's number one location for veggie foodies! Glas is fully vegetarian and gluten-free, and most dishes can be made vegan. You have the choice between a set two- or three-course dinner at reasonable prices. This is paired with a great wine selection as well as cocktails with or without alcohol. Everything tastes absolutely fantastic, and the waiters were eager to fulfill any wish we had. They also gave a short summary of what was on our plates for every course. All that is great, but the restaurant itself is lovely, too. The space is green and warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed our dinner from beginning to end. Anyone who is either vegetarian or simply loves great food should give this a try!

Stopped by and had no idea this was a vegetarian and vegan restaurant. Was amazed at the flavour profiles and plating. Had great service from Connor at the bar and had an overall amazing experience! I'll be back next trip. ❤️

Phenomenal birthday dinner here last night! The service was exceptional and the food was exquisite. Honestly cannot fault any of it. Certainly one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve ever been to, best restaurants in general actually. We all got the three course menu as well as dessert cocktails and everything was divine! The atmosphere was lovely and the interior of the restaurant is stunning. Cannot recommend highly enough if you get the chance to dine here while in Dublin ✨ Thankyou Glas!

Food is absolutely amazing. So many interesting and unique dishes bursting with flavour. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great and the decor is really nice. Lots of drinks and cocktails to choose from too! Had such a pleasant experience here. The staff were lovey too. 100% recommend.

Glas was amazing, tasty and filling for all veggies We came to glass with a big group of veggies and some vegans, as well as ardent carnivores. And everyone was enamored by the food, a rare feat. One dish was better than the next, subtle flavors and textures but filling — a difficult outcome to achieve when you work with all local and seasonal veggies. The atmosphere was relaxed and cosy and the staff was kind and fast. We also loved the mocktails and the desserts. We paid 52 euros for the three course meal and between 8-10 euros for the drinks, very reasonable especially in this economy It’s not easy to find tasty veggie food for large groups but glass nailed it, can’t wait to go back

Really lovely restaurant, delicious food, and service that went above and beyond. Glas is a restaurant we will be returning to, and not just for their delicious cocktails. The decore is charming, and the food gives new ways to enjoy vegetables. We left well fed and happy.

Very enjoyable experience last night. We were a small group for a birthday and this was noted on arrival, with a very warm welcome and some mini Proseccos. Food was lovely and service impeccable. I particularly like the interiors and ambiance in Glás, a lot of thought has gone into the customer experience. We skipped dessert this time and the person celebrating their birthday got a mini sweet treat with a candle on the house, which was a really nice touch too.

Best vegan food I have tried in 10 years of being vegan. Delicious ingredient combinations and creative presentation. Attentive servers that explained every dish. Tasty drinks, and fabulous ambiance. 10/10 experience, definitely recommend, and will be visiting again! Thank you, Glas, for a lovely night!

Fantastic top notch food and service. We went for lunch and were blown away. It exceeded our expectations, simply beautiful restaurant and experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a different kind of plant based treat. Absolutely stunned by the quality and value. Compliments to the chef and all the staff - what a treat!

Incredible!! I came as a solo diner and had such a lovely experience. All of the staff were wonderful and so attentive. And the food was absolutely divine. I am already thinking about my next trip to Dublin and will 100% be returning.

Unbelievable atmosphere and the food is a-ma-ZING. Had fennel fritters as a starter, roasted cauliflower and roasted onions as mains. A whole new level of amazingness - vegetarian/vegan and finest cuisine at it’s best is not at all contradictory, and Glas proves it. And that’s not just the food - the place just makes you feel great, starting with the nice flower smell all over the place (likely due to all the actual - not artificial - flowers). Also the interior is space, very cozy and staff very attentive and discrete simultaneously. Excellent experience on all levels, my first - but certainly not last - visit.

Wowowowow! Excellent service and incredible food. Malena gave us great recommendations, each with a diverse taste profile. I’ve never tasted an eggplant prepared in such a manner or a spiced tomato sorbet?! Polenta fries…yes please! Best restaurant on our trip to London, Paris, and Dublin. A must for vegans.

Lovely experience from start to finish. Came across this restaurant when I was looking for veggie places to dine in Dublin, and we decided to eat here for our 1st night. We booked online and opted for the 2 course menu - starter + main. We decided on beetroot fritters and the peated barley risotto for starters - both were super delicious, especially the beetroot fritters! As for mains, we opted for the roast onion and smoked carrot - they were both divine!! We also ordered a portion of the fried Jerusalem artichoke as a side and they did not disappoint! As for dessert, we were super full but we decided that we must at least try one to share, so we went for the white chocolate ganache, which was lovely! The service was really good, the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Also the interior of the restaurant is really pretty. 10/10 - definitely the best vegetarian / vegan place I have ever dined at! Well done, we would totally come back to Dublin just to dine here again!

Had an amazing lunch here on Sunday 12th July. It was our first time and we will definitely be back. I’m a vegetarian and I had 3 non veggies with me too, who all loved it. Portion sizes were perfect and all the food was delicious. The lunch menu value is excellent with the offer of 2 courses for €22 or 3 courses for €26. My highlights were the Sweetcorn and Jalapeño Fritters, the Black Garlic Charred Broccoli and the Flamed Pineapple. Our waiter was a lovely man as well. The Old Fashioned cocktail went down a treat also. Would highly recommend it to people of all tastes and we can’t wait to go back!

I went to have dinner with my partner and a couple of friends to celebrate the purchase of our first home, so we wanted something special. The treatment was something I never experienced before: they removed and hung our coats, and they explained the dishes when served. The food was impressive, very tasty, gorgeous plating. Definitely a place to go for a unique dining experience.

Best dinner I had in Ireland. We did not take any pictures because we were enjoying ourselves to remember! Staff were so helpful navigating several allergies. The food was delicious and the combinations of ingredients were so fun and different. This was a bit of a late addition to our itinerary and I'm so glad we went!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Glas an incredible vegetarian restaurant, and I can honestly say the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The food was absolutely beautiful — every dish bursting with flavour, colour, and creativity. The variety on the menu was amazing, offering something to suit every taste and appetite. As the sole carnivore at the table, I’ll admit I was a little sceptical at first. However, my meal completely won me over — in fact, I’m convinced my choice was the best of the entire table! Every bite was rich, satisfying, and perfectly balanced. It was truly out of this world and a real testament to how delicious vegetarian cuisine can be when done well. The staff deserve special mention too. They were kind, considerate, and genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. Their warmth and professionalism added to what was already a wonderful dining experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough — even for the most devoted meat eaters out there. It’s a place that will completely change your perception of vegetarian dining.

Nice vegetarian food locally sourced. Portions were small but everything tasted good. The host was very friendly with great service as we're the girls who brought out the food and took our order. A different waiter messed up our bill and initially undercharged us by €2. He did come back over to retake this additional payment which we were happy to pay but for the sake of €2 surely you should just accept your waiters mistake and not bother the guests.

First of all, I should say that the overall experience was fantastic and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the market for something like it. I'd describe what "it" is as a budget friendly fine dining experience. From the amuse bouche to the desert each course was designed with clear intent and a high level of craftsmanship. However, this also makes me judge the food to a much higher standard than I would in a casual dining restaurant. This leads me to explaining why I deducted one star from the "food" category - there were a few small issues. The chestnut mousse had a little bit of grittiness to it and the rum truffle just felt superfluous in this dish, nevertheless I would 100% order it again. The caramel crust on the apple cake a burnt in one place leaving a single bite of it unpleasantly bitter, probably not a recurring issue given that it was a small bit on one of the two cakes at the table. Lastly the flavours in the hazelnut gnocchi could have been a bit more intense (especially the hazelnut) and the crumble crunchier and crumblier, as is it was better described as "hard", but not to the point of being genuinely problematic. Everything else about the dishes we tried was utterly perfect. So were the drinks and the staff. Genuinely a very nice restaurant. I wouldn't be all that surprised if Glas found its way back into the guide eventually. Note: make sure to book your table early

This was the most wonderful dining experience we have had to date. Mentioned in our reservation that we were celebrating our engagement, and were given a glass of fizz each as a kindness, along with congratulations from the staff. The food was absolutely delicious; each course was a true experience, and the elements of every dish were spectacular. The oyster mushroom main will stay in our minds for months to come! We were primarily served by the effortlessly cool Orcan, a most perfect blend of profoundly friendly waiter-ship balanced with professional efficiency and knowledge. We didn’t get the names of the other members of staff, but all oozed with the same charisma, passion, and love for the establishment. It was the perfect curation for a perfect evening, and we can’t thank the staff enough. We will certainly be back again (honeymoon?) !!!!

Absolutely incredible experience at Glas. From the moment we entered, you could tell this was a first class dining experience. Fantastic service from well informed, friendly and very attentive staff. To some of the most delicious vegan food I’ve ever eaten. Every dish was packed with flavour, and very creative, beautifully presented.

Upscale vegetarian/vegan restaurant in the heart of Dublin, a few meters away from Grafton street. You can choose a 2 or 3 course menu and add sides if you want to. We ordered a coconut martini and a cucumber spritz to star with, both delicious. The food was unexpected, flavours, quite mild, we never experienced before. Portions are small but satisfying. We spent around € 140, a deposit for the reservation was required. Service was good, ambiance nice, bathrooms spotless. A good option if you are looking for a restaurant offering elaborated vegan food.

An intimate, all vegetarian and vegan restaurant that makes a great date night spot. The atmosphere is quiet and reserved, an excellent place to go for a date or to catch up with friends. We each had a 3 course dinner, however enjoyed the appetizers more than the main courses or dessert. The appetizers were well balanced and a good mix of savory, salty and a hint of sweet. The main courses were mainly salty. Unfortunately, each component of our entrees were good individually but not cohesive as a whole. Dessert was also okay. We had the sourdough pudding and the creme brulee. Both were average. The servers were kind and helpful. Overall, nice place that I would be happy to eat at again, just not any time soon

Background A plant-based restaurant in the heart of Dublin serving modern European-style cuisine. Ambience The deco is very vibrant with floral motive on the wall. It is a very posh-looking veggie restaurant. The place was packed with customers. Service The host was friendly and ushered us to our seats. Unfortunately, we were seated at the corner of the bar, and we didn’t get much attention as we would like. Food I enjoyed the food a lot. Unfortunately, my friend ordered most of his courses with a lot of squash. Overall I would go back again to try their seasonal menu.

Rather pricey upscale vegetarian/vegan food. The dishes are creative and presented beautifully. The service is excellent. We chose to eat outdoors, which was OK, but I expected some kind of enclosure and not just an awning. The food was tasty (though the vegan strawberry cheesecake was lacking flavor), but he portions are rather small. The price is quite high for the meal, and we came with the early-bird price. We each had the aubergine as the main course, and given that the plate was half empty, a green salad would have been a nice addition, and would have balanced the meal. The menu is rather limited (though perhaps they change it every so often), so even though we will be in Dublin for another 10 days, we would not go back while we are here this time. I’ve dined at some vegetarian/vegan places I’d love to go back to just a few days later.

Food was really great, service as well. I thought the portion was particularly small, and all the fake plants a bit kitschy for an otherwise environmentally conscious restaurant.

V

Terrible experience! Yes, the food was ok, but too small portions , but very expensive! We paid so much and left the restaurant pretty hungry. 3 portions of potatoes waffles with random sour broccoli and a 2 teaspoons of lentils underneath... some tofu, I believe it was, and 2 cocktails plus one soft drink for nearly £90. No, thanks. The waitress was ignoring us once finding out we weren't happy customers... Don't be bother to visit this please. Spend your money somewhere else.

R
Rucha Ambilpure

We went here for dinner. The food was disappointing. One of the starters was edible but everything else tasted so bad. Dessert was so bad that we left half of it. Never had such bad food in retaurant that we had to throw after paying so much. They are just mixing some random vegetables that don't go together. It was so expensive for some vegetables. Service was good but they were under staffed so had to wait everytime we had to order something. The ambiance was great.
