Had a fantastic meal here on holiday. We didn't have a reservation and the place was busy but we were found a table quickly. Service was excellent and very speedy, the Guinness was great too. Pizzas were superb, as were the fries & Mac & cheese. We were too stuffed for a dessert unfortunately. The place was buzzing and had a great vibe. My only regret is that I live in a different country and can't make BoCo a regular haunt. Would definitely recommend and will return next time I'm in Dublin.
What can I say about this absolutely beautiful place 🫶🏼 It is a pizza restaurant that has a wide selection of pizza So we had #5, which you can see later in the menu. and we had parmesan French fries and garlic bread. The place is so cozy and the staff were very welcoming and friendly Definitely recommended
My colleague and I visited this restaurant after doing a little Google combing for a fast rated restaurant, and this page does not disappoint. We very much enjoyed our buffalo wings and pizza - I believe we ordered #8. Our servers were lovely, and the ambience is very chill. Thank you for a great dinner!
We've been going to BoCo for a couple of years. It's always been great but last night's visit was the best yet. The starters (onion strings, prawns and wings) were delicious and the pizzas (#6 with Nduja is tops) are consistently the best around. The staff are really friendly, attentive and helpful - I got some great advice on their beers and ended up with a terrific pale ale. Great music, busy but not crowded, eclectic crowd. Can't wait for our next visit.
On my first visit to Dublin, I had the pleasure of exploring various vegan pizza options, and this restaurant truly shone as one of the city's finest. Not only is it one of the best in Dublin, but it also offers an exceptional culinary experience. Their vegan pizzas are a delightful departure from the norm; they manage to strike the perfect balance between flavors and textures. The absence of greasiness and oiliness is a testament to the quality of their ingredients and culinary expertise. The result is a pizza that leaves you feeling light and satisfied, without that heavy, post-meal sensation. Moreover, their friendly staff added to the overall positive experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a remarkable vegan pizza in Dublin.
Finally we tried the famous BOCO pizza in Dublin! I can say it was actually really good and it’s my first time having such Pizza! it’s perfect portion for a quick lunch or dinner! I actually had their olives, flatbread and Vegan Pizza (which had cashew cream on it). It was lip smacking and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again and recommend to my friends👍 service is really quick and does not take long! 5/5
Haven't left a yelp review in so long but was absolutely floored by this place. A bit of a hidden gem we found on our trip to Dublin, the spot has the best ambience, an amazing playlist, and the pizza was absolutely delicious and unique. Also, our server Jack was stellar, very attentive and kind and had great recommendations for the rest of our trip. Loved it here and hoping to return whenever we're in Ireland next!
I did A LOT of research for our 10 days in London and Dublin. I made dinner reservations at some amazing places. More smashing hits than misses for sure. On a free night after a day trip to Cork, we wanted something "normal" - something familiar and comforting - something truly satisfying. The overwhelming consensus....PIZZA!!!! I took out the phone and found Boco. A random pick, but it checked all the boxes: great reviews, moderate pricing, a few minutes from the train station, a thirty minute walk to our hotel, and cocktails, not just beer and wine. When we first walked in just after 7:30p, we thought it had closed. There was only two other parties. With such great reviews, how could it be so dead at this hour? I'll be honest. I was a little concerned. Maybe we were victims of Google review manipulation. We were offered a seat and were too hungry to try somewhere else, so we gave it a shot. I'll be forever grateful that we stayed. There were four of us. We ordered four different pizzas. With no exaggeration, they might have been 4 of the 8 best slices I ever tried (a true Chicago deep dish comes to mind - the others might have been after a heavy party night) We did the #9, 10, 12 and 13. Crispy. Chewy. Lightly and gloriously charred. Savory. Complex, yet simple. Unctous texture and bite after bite of umami goodness. I wouldn't go back to Dublin to see The Book of Kells, but I might go back just for the pizza.
BoCo is a really nice find if you’re in the mood for good pizza in a pleasant setting. The location feels right — comfortable, not too crowded, and accessible without being in the thick of noise. The staff are very friendly, making you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The pizza is solid — well baked, with fresh toppings, good dough, and flavour that holds up. It’s not overly fancy but it hits the mark for what you want from a pizza place: satisfying, well made, and enjoyable. If you’re looking for somewhere casual yet dependable, where you can sit back, enjoy good food, and chat without distraction, BoCo fits that exactly. That said, I’d love to see them experiment more with seasonal flavours or special pizzas to keep things exciting.
I've been going here since I was 18 years old, as I used to live right behind it. That was a few years ago and I've since moved further away, I still come to visit! And I always order the garlic chilli prawns and no. 6 pizza, always a blueberry Collins cocktail for dessert! And it never fails. I've brought family and friends here, never has anyone been unhappy about anything. I reccomend this place 100%, staff are amazing, always give their best. And the food is just phenomenal. Compliments to the chefs.
The best place in Dublin for pizza, really unmatched. The flavor combinations are unique, but really work (chocolate on pizza sounds like madness, but it is actually genial). The crust is gorgeous, ingredients fresh, the taste spot on. Oh and the onion rings!!! Lovely atmosphere as well and superb beer choice is making it truly perfect. Never disappoints. Must visit for anyone who hasn't been for sure.
As an Italian with high standards for pizza, I can confidently say that Boco serves some of the best pizza I’ve ever had outside of Italy. It was so incredible that we couldn’t resist going back the very next day! The pizzas were truly unreal and every bite was perfection. It’s clear the chefs know exactly what they’re doing. The staff were wonderfully friendly, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere. They made us feel right at home, ensuring we were always taken care of with smiles and attentive service. On top of all that, the ambiance was lovely, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for authentic Italian pizza in a cozy, welcoming setting, Boco is an absolute must. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
Warm, relax, welcoming and friendly atmosphere with very good food. Menu does not offer so many vegan vegetarian options, yet the vegan pizza was very good, it is obvious they’ve put some effort to make something good instead of just having anything for vegans. For vegetarians, they are very helpful to replace ingredients and create new pizzas. Beer selection is good, they even have their own beer.
Well, I lived in Italy, and I gotta say, this is on par with any pizza I had there, absolutely delicious. Probably the best pizza in Dublin. The dough is phenomenal and it being baked in a wood fire oven takes it over the edge. Plus, the ambiance is quite nice and the staff is helpful and friendly. Definitely a place to go if you're in Dublin.
Delish pizza, the salad was fresh, as the ingredients, crunchy fries and perfect drinks. The staff is lovely, the music a true vibe for a Saturday night. Just yes.
My boyfriend & I had a very nice dinner on Saturday. The pizza is so tasty and the service was brilliant. Very nice restaurant to go with friends, family or your partner. I want to highlight the waitresses were very kind and lovely with us. All the time making sure we were happy, which is so much appreciated. I will repeat for sure.
Good food, music, and service. They had a menu to order online but thankfully the nice server offered to take my order. Shortly after it arrived she came back to ask if everything is alright. Much appreciated. Then left me to enjoy the food. Got the pizza slice, fries and drinks deal. Fries are well cooked. Crunchy on the outside as they should be. Seasoned well. Soft inside. Pizza had nice char and beautiful mozzarella. I was also offered water which was nice. Overalls these guys make the effort for food and service and it shows. Great staff and great food. 👏👏
Probably one of the best pizza places in Dublin. Servers are the kindest here and always attentive. I called in advance to keep a tiramisu for me and they did keep it even though my reservation was late during the night. Made a special night amazing thanks guys!!
Went here for a solo date on my birthday - loved everything! The pizza was amazing, I had the #8 and it was delicious. Lovely light dough, thin crust that was charred to perfection. And the blue cheese dip was stunning - will definitely be back here!
Very nice atmosphere; good music is playing in the restaurant which creates a very nice ambiance. There’s a bar as well, and it is a great place to hang out with friends. There’s pizza’s we’re stone-oven baked, which made them very crispy and very nice. The restaurant offers very exquisite drinks (see photos) and also the pizza’s they offer you cannot get everywhere. The food was great, the staff was even nicer so overall we had a great time at Boco!!
Gorgeous food, maybe the best pizza I've had in years. Staff were great. We flagged an allergy and they came to chat with us about it, very on the level that they can do their best and so on but nuts in the kitchen, which we appreciated.
By far the best margherita pizza in Dublin and believe me I know. I spent months in Italy and tried lots of pizza there and this spot makes incredible pizza.
Top tier wood fired pizza , with lots of options! Great starters too. Great selection of cocktails , alot of which are Italian themed. The service was informative and attentive. Have been multiple too over the few years it's been there and it never diaappoints
absolutely delicious! just ordered for delivery, the food arrived right on time and was still piping hot and sooo delicious! Love the little personal note on the pizza boxes. Also highly recommend the salted caramel espresso martini!
Absolutely love going to BoCo anytime we are in Dublin. We end up going almost weekly because of how good the food is. The wings are on another level. I don’t think I’ve had better wings than at BoCo. The pizza is delicious - fresh, amazing brick oven taste, and a ton of options. A must go!
Wow Boco! This location is super there is real vibe around cafe with pizzeria with stone oven and quality decor. This cafe boco just off Capel Street, tipped in there to grab a coffee which cost me €3.30, I did mention this to the server that is was the cheapest coffee I've had all day. Another great review, can't say I'll return but I know exactly where it is located for future trips to Dublin.
Great pizza and service, perfect place to stop and grab a bite after walking around all day
This place was so Amazing, First of all the food, my goodness grace “Heaven”. The best place we’ve ever ate a pizza by far!. The food preparation was tremendously fast. And besides that the employees were so nice! Great experience
Enjoyed a great evening here. The staff were excellent, made sure our group was well looked after. The food was fabulous, delicious pizza was served. I will definitely return again for food as will many of our group. Top marks.
Imaginative pizza place, great and fast service, lovely dining area. I had the #7 which is a brilliant flavor combination of black pudding, caramelized onions, red chilis, and dark chocolate. Nothing to say of a very well prepared crust that is beautify thin under the ingredients but formed into a great and delicious have hold at the edge. It sounds strange I know but had an incredible flavor, definitely must try again!
I've been here more times than I can remember. 100% consistency, all ways good. Pizza great, staff great, beer great. The best pizza place in Dublin
Greta pizza! Interesting topping combinations! Nice choice of beers and lovely friendly service. Travels well, so can be takeaway, too 💜
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is my first Google review ever, and I’m writing it because Boco really impressed me I’ve been a regular customer at Boco for the past few months the pizza is always top quality. But this time, I noticed something new in the delivery box that made a real difference: instead of the usual greaseproof paper, they used a Waveflute liner. The pizza arrived hotter and fresher than usual, and the crust stayed crisp with no sogginess. The Waveflute’s rippled design helps air circulate and retains heat such a smart and thoughtful upgrade. I’d like to thank the person who introduced this to BoCo. It’s clear they really care about the quality of the pizza and the customer experience. As a regular customer, I truly appreciate the effort well done to Boco and to whoever made this brilliant decision!
Really nice Italian style pizza, I would definitely recommend BoCo. The wings and onion rings were great too.
Incredible Pizza, service, vibe. I’m so glad I don’t live near this place I’d be 1000 lbs. SO GOOD!! Pizza for 4 adults, wine, beer- unbelievable gem. So thankful we found this spot while staying at nearby hotel.
I've been here twice in the past two weeks, and honestly it's the best pizza in the city. Our most recent trip was last night. We came as a group of 6, everyone loved their pizzas, and they arrived quickly too. Cocktails were also really great, service was excellent (served by the guy with glasses, really nice guy). If I had one criticism the industrial looking decor didn't match the theme, I felt it could be a bit cozier but the staff really tried their best with candles ect and tablets were presentable. 10/10 experience and will be recommending highly to friends and family!!
It's a good spot. I found the pizza dough to be extremely thin. So I think they need to work on it a bit more. Overall it was good and had a nice oven cooked taste. Decor is cool. It smelled like cleaning products when we walked in :/ the place needs good ventilation or no-odour products. Staff was nice and friendly.
The service was a little slow but one of the male waitresses was amazing and went above and beyond when our orders for mixed and delayed. So overall it was a great experience. I know I want to sit in his area next time. The pizza was 6/10 -Italian approved Shrimps we're missing the Mediterranean flavour not gonna lie. But it was still one of the better ones I had in Dublin. Cocktails are not magical but pretty good. The atmosphere inside is nice it has a modern industrial theme going on.
Delicious pizza, and you could order dip for the crusts too. We tried the garlic mayo and it was delicious. The fries were really crispy and tasty. Great Guiness and I had a lovely mocha too.
Delicious pizzas... will certainly visit again. Service slow unsurprisingly as 20 of us arrived together, most for pizza.
Pizza is really nice, fries had no seasoning But really poor service The staff is not bothered to come to back to table once the initial order is placed
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, but the gluten-free pizza is a hate crime. Visited here recently with friends. The beer was great and the staff where lovely and accommodating. Unfortunately, the kitchen seems to have a personal vendetta against Coeliacs. I'm always grateful to be catered to, and have low standards (by necessity) but the weirdly inedible, flavourless, and barely cooked gluten-free pizza sent me into an existential crisis. I didn't have the heart to complain in person because the staff were so nice, so I’m leaving this here as a public service announcement: Go for the atmosphere, stay for the drinks, avoid the GF pizza like the plague.
I do love Boco's pizza but recently am not lucky with their delivered pizza. I got pizza n.9 but it was missing not one but two ingredients (rocket and walnuts), the other times I am getting burnt pizza (more than you would expect).
