This is the place to get your authentic birria tacos, they are delicious, and well served, it is now my favorite spot in imperial.

Consistent good quality and flavor food. Love their salsa. Do NOT like that I have to pay for the spicy carrots!

We came here in April 2024. We wanted some authentic Mexican food and we found the right place. We ordered tacos, nachos and rice. All of the food wad was incredible. The nacho chips were made fresh and to order. When dining in, they bring your food to your table which is definitely appreciated. The stand that has the chili, cilantro and lemons was clean and stocked. They really stand by their slogan "The key to authentic Mexican food is patience" (not sure if that is verbatim), which is amazing. Food made to order, good service and great tasting food. We came on taco Monday, where there is a special on tacos for $1.99 each which is a very reasonable price. Most places that have a special going on, they prepare for the special by making food advance, therefore the food is dry, overcooked and old. THAT IS NOT THE CASE HERE! Our food was made to order and with love. I will definitely come back when I visit next time.

They fish tacos are exactly the same size as the regular priced days! Ambiance is multiplied by the Mexican music playing in the background and 3 televisions as well! Very nice and clean restaurant too! All their food gets 5 stars from me!

Mom and I got the fish taco special. They had 1 or 2 dollar fish tacos on Wednesdays. They were fresh made, the batter was not too thick. There were different types of mayonnaise and looked very appealing.

Machaca is awesome. Every thing else is great here. So if you want Tacos or Burritos this one of tge places I reccomend in El Centro.

Clean place with friendly staff. The detail about these restaurants is that they take a while in preparing your order so be prepared to wait a little longer than usual. The fish tacos were very good and the special they have for them is well worth the trip.

This place has great munchies but also their plates are really good. Although this place doesn't serve seafood as it's advertised on their restaurant windows. This would make it a little better,and not psyche you out. Still a cool place.

Clean Mexican eatery w/ great menu. Service is solid and the wait not long...a minor drawback- no salsa cups for the salsa bar...if you are dining in you'll have to pour your salsa over your food.

Carnitas burrito was on point, but not greasy how I like with macisa. Service was pleasant and quick. Breakfast burrito hit the spot, excellent for the price 2.99

We had a very negative experience tonight my husband ordered the shrimp burrito with chile relleno no beams only rice. When he opened up King burrito to put in tea extra hot sauce he discovered that the shrimp burrito was actually a rice burrito with three small pieces of shrimp inside of them. We had paid extra because it was Seafood and you didn't think it was fair so we called somebody to talk to them they will not give us our money back and when I'm getting a new burrito all they did was throwing in some pieces of steak in and called it even. On the bright side the fish tacos were delicious

This place started off well enough, but has gone downhill fast. Almost all of the taco shops in the area are universally horrible, so this was a nice change for a bit. The prices are a bit expensive, and the meat quality is lacking. The last thing you want in carne asada is the unchewable connective tissue, and yet that appears to be cool from my experience with this location. Additionally, the price of rolled tacos is insane

Good food, prices could have been a little bit less but not that far off compared to other places. My tacos didn't have a whole lot of sauce & when asked for a little extra sauce they wanted to charge. Not a good impression for a 1st time visitor.

Me and my husband went to eat there the other day and the owner and his family were having a pizza party because they were celebrating. me and my husband had to get up and ask for food to go and leave because the owner's wife was so loud. There was a child running around in and out of the kitchen. They shouldn't let a child run around in the kitchen. Today we went and ordered drive thru and it took like 10 minutes for one potato and chorizo burrito, no egg. Kinda ridiculous. The young man at the window was very friendly though

The food here is tasty, especially the carne asada burrito enchilada style, but the prices and wait time is what kills the rating. The prices are kind of up there for just a few burritos and tacos (my order last time, not including drinks). Also, whenever I go drive through for the family I'm always waiting more than 15 minutes for the food. They never forget anything from my order though so that's a good thing. Overall this place has delicious food but watch out for the price and wait times.

I ordered 3 birria Caldos for my family and one pastor burrito for me for takeout for a total of 52 dollars. The birria is overpriced and my burrito came with only a scoop of guacamole it was so dry and flavorless. I guess they put the sides like chopped onions (only 2) in a baggie and cilantro in very little cups 1 inch in depth is crazy (only 2) was not enough for all the things we got. I'm really hungry so I ate it but 100% would not recommend this place for being stingy.

My first time trying the Weds $1.50 fish taco. I ordered 3. THE GOOD......, 1. Very decent size fish portions! 2. The lemon wedges were BIG and juicy 3. The pico de gallo 4. The price THE BAD..... 1. The large fish portions were cooked in oil that was to cold. Fish itself was mush, not flaky. And grease....sooooo dang greasy! There was no flavor....most tasteless fish I ever tried. 2. I ordered flour tortillas and got corn. They were a soggy mess that were simply sponges for all that grease oooozing out of the fish. 3. What I thought was tartar sauce ended up being very watered down mayo. There was no tartar sauce. 4. The hot sauce was a clear orange red colored liquid. Dipped my finger in it 3 different times and zero taste or flavor or heat. 5. The finely chopped cabbage was dried out and rubberized. I ate 2 of them....honestly forced myself to. Already regretting doing so. The third one ended up in the garbage... I just couldn't force that one down.

I really loved this place but it has just been horrible lately. Always forget to put guacamole with the tacos or burrito orders. If you ask for more (especially with the 12 oz order) they say they can't but will still forget to give you some atleast! Orders haven't been accurate at all either. Ordered 12 tacos, received 8. I used to recommend this place all over, but after these last 6 chances I gave them, I have decided I won't come back anymore. I figured mistakes can be done but the customer service has been terrible as well.

Had high Hope's for this place because the little mom-n-pop places are usually where you find the best Mexican food. We were really disappointed. We had to pay $2.25 for chips & salsa, only to get a bag of stale chips and "mild" salsa too hot to eat. I had the rolled tacos which tasted like they were cook in old grease. My husband did say the pinto beans were good though. If you go there, manage your expectations.

I 1st want to state that this place has wonderful food for a good price. However the management there especially the gentleman Omar, Very disrespectful I ordered a carne asada, eggs, burrito with beans and large quesadilla. Instead of getting what I ordered I got carne asada, guacamole, and beans the only problem is I'm allergic to avocados. I found out the burrito that I got on the 2nd bite it had avocados so I took it back to Omar letting him know that I got the wrong burrito and I was allergic to avocados. That's when he told me there's nothing he could do I would have to pay for a new one or eat the 1 that I got. Then I asked for a manager that's when he told me he was the manager. Then I asked to speak to the owner that's when he said that the owner wasn't in that he'd take my name and number I gave that and I asked for the owner's name and number. As I was looking around for the health department's info to get the phone number, they didn't have it posted for the public to see. That's when I asked for the health department's number as well. That's when Omar refused to give me both the owner's number and the health department's number then proceeded to call the cops on me for asking for numbers. At the end of the day all I wanted was my order fixed or a refund but Omar wouldn't do either because he would have to pay for it. It took the cops getting there to finally get it resolved were I got a refund.

When the cashier told me that the Flautas plate only comes with three, I said it would be fine. What she brought to the table, however was three taquitos not even a half-inch thick, less than 4 inches long, and not even enough meat to see without looking through it like a telescope. And she put it on the table, I told her that I would not accept that. She told me there are no refunds and walked away. I try to let it go, but it was $9 for something that I could get 46 of at Walmart for the same price. She told me she couldn't get a manager. It took another customer getting involved for them to even offer a solution. Even then the two girls behind the counter were rude and very unhelpful. Once we got our food, it was somehow salty and bland at the same time.

Came and grabbed a Carne asada burrito for lunch and it was the worst burrito I have ever had the meat was horrible and salty as hell Never coming back here STAY AWAY They also have you pull around to the front because they get behind on there orders

I got salty Birria and my wife got Salty waitress & manager when she pointed out the Flautas were actually Taquitos. We wouldn't mind it but it felt little overwhelming to spend 9$ on 3 tiny taquitos. Though we decline the food before she walked away, she exclaimed there is no refund, which was obvious cause they don't need a board for that cause it was written on their faces which we managed to miss. Apart from lazy waiting, arrogant management and zero quality food I gave them 1 stars cause there was Harry Potter on TV which I love.
