Style of tandoori and curry is different than the other Indian restaurants in town. The attention to detail this Indian restaurant places on all dishes is impressive. The rice is rich with star anise, clove and whole black peppercorn. The curry we ordered was covered in cashews. All of the food was fragrant and beautifully displayed.

This Indian restaurant had extremely good food, and friendly service. We recommend it highly. Whenever in El Paso, that's where we'll dine.

We’ve often sought out Indian food when traveling outside of El Paso, but having just tried Tandoor and Curry, we will be inviting our traveling friends to meet us there! The spices taste vibrant. For example, with a cream based sauce, the flavors stood up to the cream and weren’t overcooked into the sauce. The food tasted fresh. When ordering spicy, you will get spicy. Portions were generous, so between two appetizers and entrees, we had leftovers. The chili chicken appetizer was particularly flavorful. The naan and samosas delicious. Veggies fresh. Butter chicken and tikka masala among the best I’ve had. We will be back!

We have been searching for a great Indian Restaurant in El Paso and have been underwhelmed by other restaurants. We are SO HAPPY this new space opened and were very impressed with our meals. Very flavorful, the garlic naan was also delicious. This will be our new go-to Indian restaurant!!

Absolutely divine! Best Indian food in El Paso! We were nervous to try a new Indian food place because some of the newer spots fell flat for us. Not Tandoor and Curry! I regret not taking a photo. As soon and I tasted the cilantro chutney, I knew we were in business. My chicken vindaloo was fresh, spicy and substantial! My boyfriend’s butter chicken was decadent and hearty. Easily making the trek from the far East to support this new restaurant!

The food is SO SO good! We ordered takeout for dinner and everything was packaged so nicely - when I went to pick it up, they showed me everything in my order to make sure it was all there. The portion sizes are good for the price and everything was super flavorful! We tried the chicken malai kabab, goat curry, paneer makhani, garlic naan, and chicken kulcha. Everything was delicious!!

El Paso is not a small, dusty border town. It's a major US city with a diverse international population. Our eateries should reflect that. Fortunately, Tandoor and Curry, a new Indian restaurant near Resler and Mesa, showcases what should be the norm in El Paso dining, i.e., lots of restaurants with food offerings from around the world. Stopped at the restaurant mid-afternoon and tried vegetable samosas and entrees spinach paneer and paneer tikka masala. Portions were plentiful and prepared with correct level of spiciness (mild for us). Butter naan was also good. As we were leaving, staff set a table of multiple entrees for their late lunch/early dinner prior to evening rush. It's always a good sign when restaurant staff eat together and eat what they will be serving to patrons (think The Bear and Jeremy Allen White). Glad Tandoor and Curry is here as a restaurant venue.

Food was absolutely amazing! I had the chicken biryani and my wife had the butter chicken. We also othered the garlic naan and I had a cheese bread that was delicious as well. This place is so new the signs aren’t even up. Super friendly staff and the owners are from India so the food is 100% authentic. We drove all the way from the east side and it was well worth it. We’ll definitely make this restaurant a regular.

When we walked in there was just one other table… not a good sign but it was still early like 6:30 and tge lights were very bright. Monica our waitress came to greet us and bring menus…I asked her about the bright lights and if it was possible to turn on the other lights which she gladly did.. and what a different ambience. The lamb appetizer was brought on a hot skillet! It was ver good. We had Naan bread and a goat dish and asked if they could put mushrooms for an additional charge… the chef came out and asked if we wanted mushrooms and of course I said yes please and would be happy to pay a little extra… he said … no no there won’t be any extra charge. It was very good but beware of small bones. We will be back!

We recently dined at [Tandoor and Curry] and were absolutely blown away by the quality and flavor of the food. This is, hands down, an excellent spot for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian fare. If you are a fan of traditional Indian dishes, you must try their Tikka Masalas. The food and service were top-notch. Highly recommended!

The food was amazing and fresh. I went on a Tuesday afternoon around lunch time and immediately got a table and the food wait time wasn’t long at all. I ordered the vegetable samosas , garlic chicken, butter chicken , and chicken malai kabob. Flavorful with a medium kick . I reheated my take home box the next day and the food was just as good as the first time i ate it .

I ordered the Chicken Tiki Marsala and garlic naan. The Marsala was flavorful and the heat was just right. The naan was thin and crispy, which I am not used to but it was fresh, not reheated. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The service was quick and attentive. I feel this is one of the better Indian places to eat in El Paso. I would return when in the mood for some spicy stuff.

I came with an Indian friend who wanted to introduce me to some new dishes. I have an extreme sensitivity to red chili which makes Curry challenging for me. So happy to finally have some great Indian in the 915! Completely kills the other 2 Indian places in town (on the same street). This is flavorful and authentic and on par with great Indian restaurants in large metro areas. We tried spicy goat vindaloo and medium butter chicken and everything was delicious. A total win for vegans and vegetarians — the menu is packed with vibrant, spice-forward dishes that don’t compromise on authenticity. Just What El Paso Needs Tandoor and Curry is one of a pair of new Indian restaurants that recently opened in El Paso. After giving it a few weeks to work out any kinks in the menu and service, we tried it for lunch today. First, a word on the spiciness. When my wife and I ordered Chicken Saag (chicken in spinach sauce) and Matar Paneer (fresh cheese and peas in tomato-onion sauce), our server asked if we wanted the dishes Mild, Medium or Hot. Having vacationed in India and being familiar with Indian spices, we both replied “Hot.” And they were. In fact, both dishes were so chile-hot that the heat overwhelmed the subtle nuances of flavor that are so delightfully characteristic of foods from the Subcontinent. That’s not a complaint; we got exactly what we asked for. But next time, we’ll order them “Medium.” The dishes were well-prepared and nicely presented in classic brass bowls, each accompanied by a small serving of Basmati rice. We also tried two breads, a plain naan and an onion kulcha. The serving sizes were more than adequate; we took about half of our meals and breads home (not any rice, though). The Chicken Saag had big, tender pieces of thigh meat, and the cheese cubes in the Matar Paneer were moist and plentiful. The naan was a little drier and crisper than is typical in Indian restaurants, but the onion kulcha was outstanding. Note that you’ll get bottled water if you request “just water” with your meal. Service was fine, which may have been mainly because only one other couple was present when we arrived (more came in as we were leaving). The chef came out of the kitchen and asked how we liked the food, a much-appreciated gesture. The walls were bare except for some big-screen TVs (which were OFF, thankfully). I assume appropriate decor will be added in time. The place was roomy, bright and clean. All in all, we had a good lunch experience and have every intention of returning from time to time in the future--and we’ll remember to order our meals “Medium.”

A Hidden Gem in El Paso – Exceptional Hospitality and Flavors that Delight! From the moment you walk into Tandoor and Curry, you're welcomed like family. The hospitality is nothing short of fabulous—the staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest has a memorable dining experience. Whether it's your first visit or you're a regular, you’re always greeted with a smile and treated with heartfelt care. Now, let’s talk about the food—a true celebration of authentic Indian cuisine. Each dish bursts with perfectly balanced spices and fresh ingredients that showcase the depth and richness of traditional tandoori and curry flavors. The Butter Chicken is creamy and tender, the Tandoori Chicken is smoky and cooked to perfection, and their vegetarian curries are just as bold and satisfying. Pair it with their fragrant basmati rice or fluffy naan, and you’ve got a meal that hits all the right notes. One of the standout qualities of Tandoor and Curries is the consistency. Whether you're dining in or ordering out, you can count on the same high standard of taste and service every single time. If you're in El Paso and craving Indian cuisine, look no further. Tandoor and Curries isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. With its inviting atmosphere, impeccable service, and unforgettable flavors, it’s easily one of the best dining spots in the city. Highly recommended—5 stars all the way!

I live in NYC but I would find any excuse to fly back to beautiful El Paso just to eat here again. I discovered this gem a few days before I was scheduled to return to NY. I ordered the Lamb Korma and it was amazing. So much so that I could not put down my fork. We were at Albertsons ready to shop for dinner and the smell alone made us go CANCEL THAT LETS GO TRY THIS PLACE. And we were not disappointed. The service was great, Monica was wonderful and the food was all 10/10. Good music and good videos. I love the Bollywood dance. Thank you!

The food is delicious and the portions are generous! We ordered kulcha, naan, and two entrees for two people, and we walked out with leftovers (lunch tomorrow)! The onion kulcha is delicious, and I really liked the matar paneer. The staff were friendly and prompt, especially our server, Monica, and the chef came out to check on us too. Eat here and enjoy!!

Stopped by really late for takeout because I was on that side of town. Staff is very courteous and generous, and they’re bilingual. They even recognized a returning customer as I was leaving - which to me shows they care a lot about their service. The food is amazing. The Paneer Tikka Masala is unctuous and delectable. The sauce is perfectly spicy, with a present sweetness from the tomato, very silky and creamy. The butter chicken is another fantastic dish, the chicken is very tender. Portions are generous and the dining area is very clean and brightly lit. I will be returning soon touting my friends along so they can also try this amazing spot.

The food is absolutely delicious worth every penny , can feed a family of 4 with 1 dish 😋. the chef came out to greet us he was so humble and happy to see another happy customer. I came hungry and left with my stomach full and a big smile. Must visit if you love 🍛 curry and authentic north Indian food 😋

You know that restaurant is good when they got a kid doing homework in the corner. This is my fourth visit I've tried different things every time and it never disappoints. Monica remembered my wife and I after our first visit and has made all of our experiences there very welcoming. 5 stars for Monica the best!🥳

El Paso West is finally getting some decent curry places, and I'm so excited! After trying Curry Bowl yesterday, I checked out Tandoor and Curry today. They give you your own bottled water along with a glass of ice, which I appreciated since I'm picky about water. I even tasted the ice—thankfully, it was made with clean, filtered water, not tap (approved!). The food? All delicious. Curry Bowl had a safe, standard flavor — nothing groundbreaking, but hey, "not bad" is already a win sometimes! Tandoor and Curry, on the other hand — wow. The flavors were intense and alive. If you're craving bold, authentic Indian food, this is your spot. The service was also very friendly. But there's one issue: the table smelled like it had been wiped down with an unclean rag, and the plates weren’t spotless either. I really hope they improve those two things, because if they do, I’d definitely choose Tandoor and Curry over Curry Bowl. Still, I recommend it!

We were planning to visit this restaurant and called to enquire about vegetarian options - unfortunatley they only had naans which had eggs so we had to skip. Wish they can egglesa breads like tandoori roti or paratha.

We dined in. The food was pretty good and service was prompt. Nice clean atmosphere. I would visit again. Tried the tandoori chicken it is an appetizer plate so it does not come with rice. Chicken was great but it was dark meat in case you prefer white meat.

Food was decent. We ordered Goat curry, Chicken Malai Kebab (Good), Butter Chicken (Good) and Gol Gappa. Being new I would say this is a good start but looking forward to much better. Will definitely give it another try some other time.

We got UBER Eats and the tandoori chicken was tasty and on point. The mango chutney I could have done without. Everything seemed overly bland to me but maybe it's because I ordered mild. So what could I expect? The lamb boti was rather dry and not too exciting. The paneer butter masala my wife loved and ranted and raved about it. I love curry but didn't order any and I regret that. I'd definitely give this place another try but there is also better Indian food in El Paso. Over underwhelmed yet they deserve another chance and probably dine in.

I was really excited to try Tandoor and Curry — the moment I walked in, the aroma in the restaurant had me thinking I was in for a flavorful meal. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the expectations the smell set. It was just okay. The seasoning was lacking, and the dishes felt a bit underwhelming overall. Not terrible, but not memorable either.

Good tasty Indian food. Service was quick and friendly. The interiors are not like a typical indian restaurant. Seemed like it has been recently acquired from another mexican or chinese restaurant business.

I love Indian cuisine , and I have tried every Indian restaurant in El Paso, their Chicken Marsala is the best . Their garlic naan excellent . Wonderful flavor and presentation . I am eager to go back and try the rest of their menu. It is a clean , and bright atmosphere . Service a little slow but very polite , knowledgeable and positive . Well worth a visit ! My new favorite Indian restaurant in town !

Newest Indian restaurant in town. The food is spot on. The taste is delicious. Portion sizes are generous. They have a humongous menu, and we have liked everything we had there in the past two dinners. They are just staring up so it looks like they are not fully staffed yet. Service is affected as a result. They also need to work on the frontend for decor and aesthetics. I think these are likely excusable for a new restaurant for the time being, but addressing these issues will really bring this spot into the list of premier restaurants in town. This place has my full recommendation for a delicious and satisfying Indian meal in El Paso!

THE OWNERS KEEP THE TIPS. I don’t wanna throw anyone under the bus, and while the food was delicious I would probably NOT dine in for the simple fact that the owners keep the tips. We were informed of this while eating. I don’t wanna get anyone fired so I’m not gonna be disclosing details but to tell you all, my sister and I were shocked when we discovered this is an understatement. We Decided not to tip on the merchants copy so we collected some cash and gave it to the nice waiter. Shady place if you ask me.. like I said I would probably order again but not to dine in.

I just came into town the past couple days for work and this is A decent indian food restaurant . The chef did a great very mild tikka masala, and the garlic na an is on point. Drinks and Bottled Sodas offered with meal. No water offered. I had to swat some flies away but Maybe its typical for El Paso. ? There's no Decor or cultural representation on the walls. So it's just a big room with tables and chairs. But regardless, I will very likely be back.

Decent food, but selections are inconsistent, tasting differently from one week to another. Somewhat overpriced; no papadum; and really stingy with rice, offering up less than half of what other Indian restaurants serve. Also, there is no single side of rice offered on the menu.

Tried this place out today as we were craving Indian food. The restaurant was not busy, it was about 7pm. We sat down and were not immediately greeted or did we have our drink order taken. We reviewed the menu, and as we were looking at the servers to come over, they took our full order at once. The food was really delicious. Didn’t take too long to come out. We probably waited longer to receive our waters than the food. We did have to keep asking the servers for water, reminding them we were missing drinks, napkins or food items. We had the chicken biryani, tandoori chicken and lentil soup. Really loved the food. The service honestly was very disappointing. The servers were just standing and talking. Never took any empty plates from the tables. They were polite, but they saw us struggling with many plates on the table and not once did they try to clear it. Would definitely order the food to go next time, wouldn’t recommend dining in.

We enjoyed the food, but they won't serve you tap water. That's the reason we never went back.

I would love to leave 5 stars because the food is amazing. But i ordered to go and even discussed my choices with 2 employees at the counter, and they still didnt order it correctly.. I only received 1 of the 2 meals ordered.

Sat for 15 min in a not so packed restaurant and was not asked what I wanted to eat or drink just walked past repeatedly

Our servers were really nice and attentive. Tandoori chicken was old but the tikka and biriyani were okay. There was a creepy old Indian man looking at waiters and customers and was going to the kitchen, I hope he did not get near my food. Very strange behavior from this old man, probably not coming again for this reason.

So unfortunate, went with my family excited to try this place. We walked in and it was completely empty besides a little girl (possibly the daughter of one of the employees) waited for 10 minutes no one came out to greet us or give us a menu. Had to get their attention with a little bell they have in the front. Guy came out didn’t say a word ignored our questions gave us a menu and walked away. Waited another who knows how long to get our order taken and ultimately left the restaurant and came to India Palace which was incredible. Definitely left a negative impression.

At first, we loved with the food and started going regularly. We really liked the lentil Dal and it was nice having something that my kids enjoyed eating. The last time we went, I was putting the last bit of the soup in need to go to container and found a moth in the soup. It is quite disgusting and it makes you wonder what kind of sanitation practices are going on in the kitchen. Be advised.
