This location was so much less busy that In&Out Burger that was right across the street... so we didn't wanna wait in the crazy lines and was pleasantly surprised and decided to try it out! Was Yummy😋 Burgers were juicy... I had chicken burger which was super moist and fries were Fresh!!! A+ from me

I visited here during my vacations in LAX and I have to say, the hamburgers were pretty darn good. I ordered a Superstar combo and it was very delicious. I was not hungry until the next day. I recommend this place, it gets pretty busy but the wait is worth it because they prepare a mean burger, they also bring the food to where you are sitting which is nice.. 👍

We were tipped off to the free beyond burger with the purchase of a $3.27 drink. I actually liked it with pepper jack cheese and no onions, tomatoes or pickles, but kept that lettuce. I ordered a second beyond burger and told them no cheese and told them to put all of the veggies I held off the first burger and put them on this burger. Then I asked my friend what kind of drink they wanted, since my vegan friend isn't going to drink any of these sugary sodas, so he assumed the whole order was his and I didn't have the heart to tell him no after he went so overboard with the thanks and other compliments.

Great place. I commend Ana for her friendliness and the above and beyond service she provided. Very patient and understanding. Carl's Jr. continues being my favorite.

2 fish sandwich for $6.00 is an awesome deal! I have simply enjoyed eating here today. Much better deal than McDonald's for the same thing and more importantly sandwiches are about 4 times bigger and juicier than in McDonald. From now on will only eat fish sandwich in Carl's Junior! Thank you guys

I was impressed with this location. Went in late Saturday night. The cashier greeted me with a smile and was very nice. I watched the cook prepare my food and he looked like he cared about what he was doing, instead of just throwing it together. High quality.

The people who work here are great! And I love that they have a call-ahead phone number so you can order by phone, then pick up the food & pay when it's ready. Also, all Carl's Jr coupons are usable anywhere for several months past their printed expiration date, as long as the code is still in their electronic system. The only disadvantage to this branch is that there's no drive-thru window, but the call-ahead feature has turned out for me to be better than a drive-thru because it avoids my having to wait in line.

The good is good at this Carl’s Jr I come here almost daily they have the best burger in the industry, two thumbs up great employees too very friendly staff. This store isEl Segundo’s best kept secret.

The customer service was exceptional and the food was hot and delicious. They only hand 3 people working and it was smooth and clean.

It was about 9pm on a Saturday and most places in this area were already closed. So we wound up here. I had a lot of homework and needed to eat and stay up late. We got our food and I was able to buy a Monster energy drink and my fiance and I both got Mexican Coke. What a nice treat!

Delicious Original burger and fried zucchini with ranch. I visited at 10:30PM. The nice man working the register used hand sanitizer and changed his gloves between guests and between using the register to packaging guests' meals. Bravo for doing your part sir!

First of all, I LOVE that you can get cheeseburgers here in the morning!! I hate going to fast food places that don't serve lunch & dinner menus before noon, I mean come on, it's fast food!! Just give me a burger! So, that was great that I could order off of the full menu. Loved my "Big Cheeseburger" for less than $3.00. Flavorful, juicy, and BIG!! Good value, this would be a $10 at any other establishment. Also...wow, the staff here is so nice! I came here at 8:30 in the morning before my flight at LAX. The place was packed, but the woman at the register was so nice and so pleasant! She handled everyone's orders so nicely and always said "can I get you anything else" and "it's been my pleasure serving you." I definitely didn't expect that first thing in the morning!!

Great attentive staff and great classic carls food! My dads not usually impressed with fast food establishments but he was very pleased and surprised at how delicious and fresh a classic Famous Star was. I told him if he likes that he should try some of the other items!

I came to this Carl's Jr restaurant today at 05/25/25 at 5:21 pm. There was only one Carl's Jr representative named Eric taking orders at the counter and cooking the food. I didn't have to wait long because he did a good job filling all the orders in a timely manner. He deserves some kind of recognition for remaining courtesy and polite while doing everything by himself. That's why I am writing this review he deserves it.

Instead of being productive members of society, we spend hours here sipping on shakes and avoiding work. The food? Immaculate. They even have star-shaped chicken nuggets, which Angel insists on ordering every Friday. The man refuses to eat the fine cuisine our coworker Cianciulli prepares, proving his taste buds never matured past age six. Cleanliness? Spotless—until Carlos waddles into the restroom and absolutely destroys the place. They don’t call him Stinky (Apestoso) for nothing. The poor janitor deserves hazard pay every time Carlos gets his hands on a Western Bacon Cheeseburger. All in all, Carl’s Jr. is an elite establishment, perfect for dodging work, indulging in childhood nostalgia, and enjoying the finest milkshakes in town. Just maybe wait a bit before using the restroom.

Manager Karla took my order she was very sweet, politely she took my food to my table fast food restaurants doesn’t do that anymore but she was very attentive with me and my family, I felt very welcome she really deserves a raise. The store was very clean, restrooms clean and it smell really good. They take good care of the store. It’s well organized. This is the best Carl’s Jr if you want to come here and get fresh food tasty you should come here at 639 N pacific Coast. They have a lot of parking space that’s 1000000% amazing. I eat here at least once a week as it’s walking distance from my home and get the chicken tenders. Now, most of you will think Chic Fil A and EL Pollo Loco are right across the street but hear me out. I find the sauces are better at Carls Jr. buffalo sauce is buffalo! The count is always generous, you order 3 piece, it’s now a 5 piece! The staff is always extremely friendly and professional, I get called sir all the time I’m not that old haha! Some will also say Carls is priced high and it is. However there’s tons of coupons available in this mailboxes we throw away and in the app. Happy eating!

I mean, it's a Carl's Jr., and my rating reflects that. I'm not comparing to a Michelin restaurant here. Convenient location to grab food if waiting to pick someone up from the airport. Staff were bilingual if you prefer to order in Spanish. Food was quick, service was courteous. Only complaint is Carl's Jr. prices have gone up a lot the past decade, but that's everywhere. Oh, also I don't think they do Green Burrito anymore at this location.

I was here and some guy started getting irate with the staff. Since the staff was all female and this guy was pretty big I watched closely. The manager handled him well. She was patient and addressed his concerns quickly. Well done to the staff.

Is it just me or does every construction worker in the south bay eat here for lunch? Either way, Carl's never disappoints. Super/Famous Star combos are still some of the tastiest burgers around.

Typical Carl's Jr (also Green Burrito) menu. Convenient location on Sepulveda (PCH) no drive thru option. Close to LAX (just south on the west side of the street). Good parking, clean restroom,quick service.

Considering the number of people in line waiting to order, there was only two employees who were taking orders and it looked like only two food preppers/cook, they did a pretty great job getting orders out. I would have given a five but they were definently understaffed, and the counter was very sticky.

One thing every Carl's Jr. visitor should know is that their COUPONS DO NOT EXPIRE on the stated expiration date! As long as that coupon code is still in their system, it will be honored for months. This was the case even before COVID-19, and now, some of their restaurants, including this one, will return your coupon so you can use it again. The Carl's Jr. in El Segundo has an Amazon locker now (for locals who are interested in not having packages left outside their dwellings to be stolen). The only disadvantage to this store is that it doesn't have a regular drive-thru. (Way back when, the City of El Segundo didn't like fast-food restaurants. In the last couple years, though, they've allowed two other fast-food places with drive-thru lanes.). What they've done here at this Carl's Jr. during COVID-19 is to open a sort-of drive through that begins at lunch, and you can also call ahead or on-site to order & they will bring the food to your car. Unfortunately, Carl's Jr. does not have a mobile app. For non-meat eaters, Carl's Jr. offers Beyond Beef burgers (which are too expensive for me at $2 more per burger). My favorite vegetarian snack at Carl's Jr. is the fried zucchini, which I get for a super-serious discount at $1.29 with a coupon. (The coupons are in a weekly set of promos including Ashley Furniture that are delivered to our residence.)

Carls Jr is very consistent. Its probably one of the better fastfood shops in Los Angeles. The place is generally clean and the service is pretty quick. Food standard is pretty consistent from Carls Jr to Carls Jr. Go tos are Famous Star With Cheese no onions and the best thing they have which is the Western Bacon Cheeseburger... I swear that this burger revolutionized fast food burgers. Onion Rings or Chris cut fries are my go to sides and they are delicious. Not the best burger in town but for fastfood burgers, this place is legit. Convenient Drive thrus as well.

Older Carl's. Got great friendly service! One odd item about this store is that you'll need to have a quarter ready to use the toilet...lol. They have a coin slot to let you activate the door handle.. Food was great, service was quick. Table was clean.

I actually just stopped to use the bathroom. This particular time. Although they usually have good food as fast food goes. I had just landed and didn't want to go in a closet. They do require a token and I asked politely and the woman generously gave me one with out a purchase. That alone deserves high marks. They have clean restrooms and clean overall. When I have eaten there it wasn't bad at all. If ur hungry for a burger or decent shake that's a good spot.

I generally only get the big burger on sourdough with bacon and extra pickles. Great sandwich for the price. Since all other burgers come with cheese i never get them. Store clean with good service. Extras are always stocled and easy to get if out. Restroom are coined but not bad for a busy place. Parking is easy but leaving by car is a trick. Over all great day or night.

Staff was personable, but I may like Carl's Jr. lunch options more than breakfast. I got a chicken biscuit which was fresh. Chicken was good, but biscuit was just okay with no condiments. Biscuits need jelly and I couldn't think of what to ask for until I drove away. The employee even asked if I needed anything else when he handed me my bag. The hashbrowns weren't good.

The food is good for me that is. The employees are helpful. The reason I gave 4 stars it's because of the price for 1 burger combo & an extra burger was near $30.

Wish they had more comfortable seating. I like to take a book to read while I'm eating, but don't linger as my south end goes numb! They also keep trying to fix the ice machines, but most of the time, only one is working. People who work and order to go might like not standing in line for the ice! But this burger chain has great variety in their menu, and I like that! Staff is nice too!

We drop by this place before leaving tru LAX. It's about dinner and the place is not too crowded. We were served quickly and our meals were ready in about 8-10mins. Their food is delicious and the burger patties are quite big. The veggies on the burger was good too. Their fried zucchini is a great alternative for those who don't feel like eating potato fries. They have a lot of seating areas and their restroom has a code you can get at the cashier. It's clean and tidy. Overall, I would recommend this place. Especially for those going to LAX, it's a lot cheaper than whatever food you'll find at the airport.

Seriously understaffed.. Took too long to get sandwich.. Carls Jr advertises Black Angus beef used but , I was told two weeks ago that there is a shortage.. The #7 Original does not taste the same.. Something has changes and I am #7 Original Burger expert..

They ran out of one of the drinks I wanted and sure, the manager said she would fix it but she didn't tell me it was ready until 10 minutes later. Also the service wasn't as good or friendly as other Carl's Jr.

This Carl's Jr. has one major difference that most Car's Jr.'s - there is no drive through. Since this forces everyone to go inside and order, parking can sometimes be a challenge here. The space inside is a traditional Carl's Jr. layout, however its cleanliness is spotty. The staff are helpful and friendly, unfortunately orders can seem to take longer than they should.

So food was fine, service was a little lacking because, at one point some asian customers that ordered before me spilled their drink on the table and the floor. Well there were no napkins on the table because of the pandemic I assume. So I tell the guy handling the register can we get some napkins because the customer spilled his drink. I had my mask on, so I dont think he totally heard me so i repeated it so he did, and he gave us 3 or 4 napkins, not enough to clean up the mess. So i took matters into my own hands and went to the restroom to get some paper towels, but there was a code on there, so I got the code, and went in and got some paper towels to clean up the floor, which helped but it was not that busy, and it made it seem like the guy didn't totally want to be bothered, or he was soooo busy that he couldnt take the moment to address the situation, or they were so short staffed that he couldnt ask for help from one of his team members, or his manager. Yes he gave us some napkins, but all he had to do was look 20 feet in the direction of the customer and see that there was a spill, and notice that 3 or 4 napkins wasnt going to do it, and give us a towell or bring a mop. Sure if I would spilled it I would have cleaned it up, it's my responsibility. However, it seems like our friends were from another country, and with there being no access to napkins it made it seem harder than it had to be. She eventually got the code and got some more napkins, but I was disappointed but not surprised by the millenials "meh" half engagement of the situation. He did get them another cup, but that didn't totally solve their problem. And I didnt see a drive through, because that's what i was going to use, and there was just the asian customers and me. So it didnt seem like he had a lot of orders waiting. And last thing that urks me is the codes on the restrooms, L.A. companies seem to do this because they dont walk in their authority of refusing vagrants to enter, whereas if they just stood in their authority, or had a manager who had some balls, they wouldnt have that problem, so instead you lock the bathroom, and i need to use it but have to wait till they are done with the order, annoying.

Did not greet me or acknowledge me so I walked to bathroom which needed a code so back I went to watch ladies still facing each other and not acknowledge me for at least 30 seconds. Finally took order which I had to repeat twice. Then I got bathroom code. I love Carl's Jr but you asked and that was my experience today. I worked retail for 10 yrs and number one rule was greet customer even if you weren't able to help them at that moment. Retail isn't what it used to be. Sad.

Hardly eat there. Not my choice to go there at all and the store in Ontario Oregon is mostly rude. Their country burrito is the only thing I like. I used to like zucchinis but they have a wierd after taste now. My boys loved their chili fries but they dicontinued them. Basically I stay away from them.

I usually love Carl's Jr., but I was disappointed this trip because I ordered a number 4 combo (double western burger) and received like a regular double cheeseburger. I even repeated the order to make sure she got it down. I ordered my food in person instead of drive through so there shouldn't've been any interference. The burger I received was tasty but not what I asked for.

While I am for livable wages, the new minimum wage law not only has the Famous Start with cheese now priced at $6.29, but apparently this location is skimping out on seasoning as well. It was a very plain tasting cheeseburger to say the least.

This Carl's Jr. used to be the best among the others in LA area. They used the have fresco bar that you can add to your burgers. It appears so Carl's Jr. Burger sizes got smaller too. They used to have juicy loaded 6 dollar burger standards, I guess not any more. They all vanished.

This Carl’s is close to my work. Not great. Not bad. Nice people working there. Prices for all Carl’s have drifted way too high especially compared to In-n-Out who is now down the street.

Bathroom clean , the restaurant clean and quiet place. My only humble observation the fountain drink it’s rusty on the outside of the soda fountain, making not attractive.

Convenient site for a quick meal. I got the sausage and cheese biscuits. They were dried out and hard, but I ate them anyway because I was hungry. However, their iced tea was good. The dining room was empty except for me. Their burgers and fries may be better than the breakfast options. Maybe next time I'll try that.

The cashier was very friendly and the cooks were quick. My only reserve from a higher rating was the bathrooms needed a code to get in (not great part of town) and could've used a cleaning/air freshener. It's been two years since my last dbl western cheeseburger. The recipe seems to have changed in the sauce. Still good, but not crazy good. Service wise there was one person taking orders, who was also the cook. He'd take an order then go cook it. This was the middle of the day. He did it with a smile, but come on California, I know wages are killing companies but this is ridiculous

I had the Big Carl. Buy one get one for a dollar. The bread is very large for the amount of meat you receive. The meat had very little flavor. I put both meat patties on one Burge and the Burger still wasn't meaty.the burgers together were almost $9 .the burgers were average.to much bread.one your Big Carl the burger comes with lettuce and some type of orange dressing. That's it.last time I'll try the Big Carl.

This was my only and first american restaurant while I was in LA. Burger wasn't bad, pretty much the same as Burgerking but bigger. Fries was weird, kinda peanut buttery to me??

The food was as to be expected, but the lady working the register was extremely rude. She acted as if it bothered her to answer questions even when we were the only customers at the location. My daughter had just flown back from Japan and all she wanted was Carl's Jr., but after this experience she said that it would take some time before she would consider going back.

Employee “Ana” was the cashier handing out orders when I tried picking my food up she questioned me about my order what I ordered and gave me a suspect look me be paying customer got upset and took my food and ate it. I kept watch to see if I was the only one she questioned . I saw her do minor maintenance here and there as she delivered food picking trash up doing some restroom chores I mean the effort was there she just kept failing to wash her hands as she returned to pick food and deliver it . PLEASE ENFORCE FREQUENT HAND WASH Especially when serving food . That would be an automatic fail if there was an audit .

Ordered a burger with no lettuce, they put lettuce on it and the soda machine didn't work but when I told the workers I got an attitude, then I was given a bad attitude when asking for a refund for the drink. They begrudgingly refunded the $2.99 for the drink but kept the tax. Just a bad experience all the way.

Horrible Service. Placed an order for a Famous Star Small Combo. Waited 20 minutes after I ordered. Stood in front of the Staff the whole time. Not one employee asked what my order was. Update 27OCT2021- after some time not coming to this particular location, I decided to give it another shot. Food was way over cooked/refried. Service was average at best. From time to time I enjoy Carl's Jr. But this one had me extremely disappointed. I asked for the mix and match 2 for $6 they advertise, they mention not having that deal or it not being at this location. I mentioned it being advertised outside... They still did not know what iwas talking about. So I just ordered the second thing on my list and made my way. Will not come back.

I went in on the morning of June 21 @6:22am the so called Manager (female Hispanic heavy set) gave me no eye contact or greeting as she was writing on a board even at first look she was visibly "disconnected" and appeared agitated i attempted to explain that the previous morning I ordered a "loaded breakfast burrito" which was what I was charged for but I ordered it without meat and I wanted everything else the egg, cheese, potato & salsa and when I got to work there was no potato ...she was so rude, nasty in her behavior, extremely defensive , rolling her eyes upwards ...i was just disgusted she was #1 a Manager & #2 her age and behaving and with the communication skills of a 17 year old "flunky" it was clear she resonates "I hate my job & maybe even my life" ..her vibe, energy was so low and I could tell her behavior was intentionally and with direct disregard for respect of her title, company or me as a customer...this was such poor quality of customer service. I asked for her bosses name & a contact she refused I asked for her name she refused I asked for the company corporate number she told me to look it up...i will never spend a dime at this particular Carl's again ...absolutely disgusting behavior & more so because it came from a "Manager"

service was terrible lady didnt understand english or spanish. couldnt complete my order and tried to charge me 12$ repeatedly when i told her i wanted the 6$ california classic combo. Dont understand how this place is open when the workers cant even communicate or take an order. avoid this location.

Cashier was not at register after every Oder he would walk away and the cook would have to call him to take oders. Rude cashier Carlos didn’t feel welcome. No words came out of his mouth worst experience! Now I know why this carl’s is always empty!

I went in for a milkshake, but seeing as they have vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry I asked for a neopolitan. You know, like In N Out has, one stacked on top of the other. The lady managing my order said no! Apparently, Carls Jr has an official NO NEOPOLITAN MILKSHAKE rule! This is heinous. I may not be the most frequent fast-food eater, but I held Carls Jr a head above the others and to find them as inflexible and fixed on such an easy request to accommodate is beyond the pale. I will find other nearby establishments to satiate my milkshake list from now on.
