Great breakfast here. The food was a little different than most places and it was very enjoyable. We were running late for an appointment and they got our food out right away. I had a fritatta with mushroom, spinach and goat cheese and it was excellent. Their bacon was also tasty.
Went for breakfast/lunch, great atmosphere, great service, great food. Very popular, was a Saturday so crowded but not too long of a wait, we were a party of 2.
The service and food was amazing! My girlfriend is allergic to gluten and she felt that there was a great selection for her. The pancakes are huge and very filling for a large guy like myself so be wary of the full stack if you are having anything else with it.
Came here before a hockey game and was perfect for my son who loves Nutella. This place was the only place to have Nutella available for waffles. I had the turkey club sandwich which had a good amount of turkey. It was not thin deli slices but thicker pieces which felt almost like carved turkey slices. The sweet potato fries were crispy but soft on the inside. Not greasy at all! The best part was to tomatoes bisque. I am not a big tomato soup fan but their soup was fantastic! I would go back just for the tomato soup but the other food was great too. I will be back definitely when in the area. A must go every time now! Oh on the side there was a baby shower and beautifully decorated in a cute small area. Perfect place for s small party gathering or work party.
Ordered the Traditional Eggs Benedict, The Waffle with Berries and the chorizo and eggs. The produce of this place is so fresh and tasty. The fruit had so much flavor and the portions were perfect for 2. I did also have their fresh squeezed orange juice that gave my hangover life. The only thing I’d say I gave a little side eye to is that the waffles are separate from any combo. Besides that, they were worth it.
We give 20 stars to the Marmalade Café and their staff for making us feel appreciated while taking care of us. The food is excellent! My wife loves the meatloaf, my daughter enjoyed the meatballs, and I had the sole, which I really liked. We all loved the butter cake as well. This is our second time here, and the quality has been consistently excellent. The atmosphere is perfect for a first date, and the prices are reasonable.
Hands down one of my favorite cafes I’ve been to so far. I will definitely be returning just based on the food alone. Their service was truly impeccable and we appreciate the patience as I took awhile to order. So many great options. The has breakfast cured something in me and I will be back for more ! The Irish coffee reminded me of home and was made PERFECTLY! I ordered a seasonal crab cake plate and let me tell you .. MELT IN YOUR MOUTH they were so delicious. A perfect appetizer! My friend ordered one of the house sandwiches and the fries were soo good! Thank you for a wonderful morning and I look forward to trying more from the menu soon. Feb 19th was my visit date.
This was a quaint little brunch spot that I did not expect to be so good. On the inside, it look like a High in Diner, with granite table, tops, chandeliers, and a full bar. They had a lot of brunch food options, available and we were very happy with the food options we chose. I was a little disappointed. They didn’t have more cocktail options, but I’m sure I could’ve asked for something specific and gotten it. They had bottomless mimosas at another table. I got a breakfast beer while my brother got a cocktail and his girlfriend got an Aperol spritz. Pricing was not bad and parking was plentiful.
Well, well, well, let me tell you about this little gem called Marmalade Cafe. I recently swung by this joint and let me tell you, my taste buds were in for a real treat. First up, the Turkey melt. Oh my goodness, this sandwich was the real deal. It was like biting into a slice of heaven. The Turkey was perfectly cooked, the bread was toasted to perfection, and the cheese was melted just right. I had to stop myself from devouring it in one bite. But that's not all, folks! I also had the pleasure of trying the waffles. And let me tell you, these waffles were no joke. They were fluffy, crispy, and just the right amount of sweet. I could have eaten them all day. Overall, I give Marmalade Cafe two enthusiastic thumbs up. If you're in the mood for some seriously delicious food, this is the place to be. The only downside is that I can't eat there every single day, because I might just turn into a tuna melt or a waffle myself. Kudos to the chefs and staff at Marmalade Cafe for making my day with their amazing eats!
Beautiful atmosphere and ambiance…loved the chandeliers! Well let’s get to the food my breakfast was absolutely delicious and flavorful I had the chorizo & eggs Benedict served on English muffins with a side of roasted potatoes…he enjoyed French toast with a side of bacon crispy bacon for me please💯loved the food the staff was super courteous and helpful with our questions about the rental of banquet rooms or patio area. 🌻plus his favorite split pea soup❤️💯plenty of seating indoors but there’s a large patio setting also available if you prefer with umbrellas if it’s too sunny…Yellow umbrellas 🌻❤️well at this location I know they have more locations but this is my first visit here…Definitely will return to try their chilaquiles 😋
Great atmosphere and service! The food was good. They have great choices! Will definitely come back.

The pineapple pancake is a must. Not to sweet and perfectly fluffy. Great service. The breakfast potatoes the comes with most of the meal was also a hit with the whole family.

Visiting family in California. Decided to meet at Marmalade for breakfast since it was centrally located. Remember Marmalade from days when there was a location "on the hill". Decor was nice. Clean, traditional, classic. Server was friendly and kept our coffee full. We were there for maybe 90 minutes and never felt rushed. Food was good, but not necessarily great. Didn't have that wow factor, but still decent. I had the Chilequiles. Wish it was a little spicier. Started picking up around lunch hour. Good meal
Came here for happy hour (4:30-6pm) around 5pm and got a table immediately. There’s indoor a well as outdoor patio seating. We basically ordered everything off the happy hour menu to sample it, so that was fun. My friend especially liked the ahi tuna, which does come in a larger portion size as an entree. The mushrooms fries were alright; they were a bit too thick cut for my taste. The guacamole tasted a bit funky, so I wouldn’t get that. I did like the loaded baked potatoes (come in two halves pieces) and the Philly cheesesteak mini sandwiches. The service was very friendly and checked in on us frequently. Ample free parking. Credit cards accepted. It is kid-friendly.
Went there for brunch our manager was in from out of town. We were all please with the portion sizes, the different options, and the quality of the good. The restuarant is clean and has a nice layout, not too noisy even when we sat near the bar. There is plenty of parking, easy to find location, and a nice place to enjoy a meal.
Good portions and good service, food came pretty fast. We got the calamari and it’s decent, good batter. The house guac was a miss. The guac did not look home made…. More of a paste and not e enough chips, other portions are big but oddly this app was small. Men restroom was not clean at the time we went.
Marmalade Cafe is a family friendly restaurant located in Plaza El Segundo. The bright expansive building has welcoming vibes inside and out. The menu is easy to read with breakfast fare along with sandwiches, select seasonal selections and morning beverages. Skip the crispy beef rib hash as the lack of beef and flavor disappoints. The Chorizo Benedict as well as Cross Creek are the way to go. Tasty, well prepared and filling. Marmalade Cafe entree prices average about $22 pp without a drink so add another $5 for coffee, tea, juice. Gratuity makes it about $32-35 pp all in. Great stop for business breakfast or catch up brunch If having morning cocktails or mimosas the carafes for $35 are the way to go.
Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and was seated right away. Plenty of parking in the lot. I did make reservations through resy, which I didn't need. The restaurant itself is very spacious. The service was OK. I felt like the waitress took forever and we had to wave her over to fill there empty water cups multiple times. I've been here before prior to moving to San Diego, but this place just didn't impress me when I came back recently. Food review: Marmalade breakfast: (3/5) This was simple, but pretty good. The bacon was extremely salty and too crispy/ almost burnt. The breakfast potatoes and eggs were good though. Chicken and waffles: (4.5/5) surprisingly these were pretty good! The waffle had a nice crunch and flavor to it and the chicken was well seasoned and not too dry. Chilaquiles: (2.5/5) This was not good at all. The chips were way too soggy to eat and overall flavor was lacking. Definitely wouldn't order this again.

The crab cake bene was just ok. Sub standard crab cakes and the Bernaise (not Hollandaise like Tom’s) was separated. But the potatoes weren’t fried, cooked stovetop. Bloody Marys are very spicy even for me! Hubs salmon bene was just ok too. Coffee was good and water tasted filtered, good
Essentially diner food, but at a 90% price premium. You essentially pay extra for your meal to get a comfortable dining room, easy and free parking, the ability to make a reservation, and a clean and safe neighborhood. Of you don't care for any of those factors, you can go down the street to IHOP and get almost a good a meal with better service for less than half the price.
I have never ever sent a meal back. That changed today. The samon asparagus pasta had maybe 2oz of salmon and 1 asparagus cut into pieces less than a half inch. The chicken pot pie was not flaky at all. The bottom was rubbery and I couldn't cut it with a fork and knife. Yet still looked undercooked. Not the waiters fault at all. He was amazing. Both the soups we had were good.
The food was good enough, service was kind of slow. Came by myself and the wait at the table took quite some time. The place wasn't super busy. In just felt ignored

The worst French Dip ever I ordered the $24 (before tax, tip, drink, and service fee) prime rib French Dip and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it was absolutely terrible. The meat was 4-5 pieces of dry tough thin slices laid on top of each other. It was brown and tasteless. I tried to take a piece out, cut it in half, and directly dip it into the relatively tasteless jus. Even that didn’t help. The local businessperson I was with that chose Marmalade ordered the same thing and concurred it was terrible. We told multiple businesspeople several times that day and evening, which is how bad it was. The bread was OK, though not classic Dip bread that would easily soak up some of the jus. The fries on the other hand were very good and I took those to go. The sandwich was so bad I only ate half of it and feed the rest to the coyotes in my back yard. I think they liked it. The overall service was good and friendly, though nothing spectacular and certainly didn’t offset the horrendous food. I am giving it two stars for the staff and the fries.

Save your money. Mediocre food. Stuff you can make at home for fraction of the cost. $9.99 for a large glass of orange juice. ORANGE JUICE…Not even a mimosa. Our waitress was nice and attentive but this place is a rip off.
