Came in to sign card donuts, everything was fresh.Everything was delicious.A good place to try for donuts.Try the cinnamon roll oreo cookie also had a few lattes.Definitely a spot if you like, great donuts stand up for sure.Great service

Hands down the best donuts we have ever eaten in our lives. My husband and I are still talking about Sidecar Donuts & Coffee hours later. that’s how unforgettable these donuts are. We ordered the olive oil citrus, old fashioned, and huckleberry, and every single one was absolute perfection. Served warm, they were moist, rich, and bursting with flavor. The olive oil citrus had this delicate, bright citrus zing paired with a subtle, fragrant olive oil that made it feel almost sophisticated yet so comforting at the same time. The old fashioned was a perfect classic: slightly crisp on the outside, tender and moist inside, with a nostalgic flavor that hit every note just right. And the huckleberry? Was sweet, tangy, and deeply fruity, wrapped up in a beautifully balanced glaze. It felt like we were eating pancakes yum! If you’re anywhere near Sidecar, go get them warm

The Baseline

The Baseline: For a donut shop the flavor of donuts must out-weigh the taste of pure sugar, the yeastiness/cake-ness of the donut must be a good consistency, there must be unique/rare offerings that drive me to go there, and the value of the desert must be balanced with the fact I probably just finished a meal. Food: Sidecar donuts are really sweet delicious donuts that are mostly cake donuts. The flavor profiles are varied and they carry a limited vegan selection. When the cookie dough donuts is available it is my favorite. I also love the Black Onyx Coffee for my go-to coffee. Also you need to try the Eggs Benedict donut for a savory treat. Service: Great service from staff every time I come here. I suggest the app for earning freebies and specials. Ambiance: Very clean store with a well laid out service queue.

Been to Sidecar before across LA but this one stands out for one single reason and one single name: Zeke. Zeke is chill, kind and attentive and I think he's probably a pretty cool dude when he's not representing in-store. He recognized my wife and I on a return visit and made perfect recommendations based o what we had ordered the day prior. Love the donuts, love the coffee but the people make this location the best in all of LA.

On my way to get smoothie stopped by sidecar because it was close. I love these doughnuts. Best doughnuts in California. Got a peach cobbler doughnut which was outstandingly good. Pulse got doughnut for free by redeeming points. Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was clean, bright and outdoor sitting.

Hands down my favorite donut place in Cali. I moved from La to Miami and have to swing by whenever im in town. I usually go to the location by the grove but this was perfect enroute from lax to PV. We tried the seasonal olive oil with citrus and one of my favorites butter and salt which did not disappoint!

Very good, but pretty pricey, sugary treats. Fun for any special occasion. I love how they have rotating flavors and seasonal selections. Check it out when you want something special and different. Great coffees, too!

Stopped into Sidecar before the mall opened for a coffee. We tried the samples they were giving out of their donuts, and they were so good that we had to buy one each! The butter & salt was such a unique flavour I would definitely get it again. We also got the vanilla bean glazed which was also delicious. Perfect spot for a quick treat!

This was arguably one of the best donuts I have ever had. Right when we walked in, the man at the counter was so friendly to us and was kind enough to share all about the shops story and each donuts description (it was our first time). He was so pleasant to serve us from behind the counter, and the food and coffee definitely lived up to his recommendations. I wish I lived in the area so I could visit again, but I look forward to the next time I'm back in town so I can!

Sidecar will forever be on another level when it comes to donuts. The Salted Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough donut is without a doubt the best on the planet. And the basil eggs Benedict Donut is perfection in a bun.

A 5 star! 10 star if I was allowed to! :D The doughnuts are super fresh. The passion fruit pavlova and huckleberry are highly recommended. The yeast doughnuts are light but cake doughnuts are great if you have the appetite. The coffee was great! The black onyx mocha is a dark mocha coffee if you can do a sweet coffee! I liked the service, the staff is very patient when you're going crazy over choosing from the range of doughnuts ;)

Went while visiting the LA area and was not disappointed overall. Tried the vanilla bean donut and was impressed with the fluffiness, if not the flavor. I thought that the Old Fashioned would be bland, based on the Vanilla Bean, and was rocked. The Old Fashioned was the best donut I've ever eaten. Will absolutely return.

My go to donut spot when I’m nearby! Their exterior looks super modern and once you walk in, it is very clean! Their donuts are all unique and they do have classic ones! It’s also a good gift giving dessert! I always manage to take a box to go when I can. I always try their new seasonal flavors so this time I got: Passion fruit pavlova- pretty good! The donut is fluffy and the flavor worked great! Would recommend. Huckleberry: their classic favorites. Highly recommend! Cold brew - nope! Don’t get it.. it was bitter and not smooth at all. Stick with donuts! Parking: easy and free!

Only 2 tables outside each with just 2 chairs if you are thinking of sitting there to have the donuts and coffee. Most customers just takeaway their items. The maple bacon donut is really soft and almost melts in your mouth. The taste of the salty bacon with the donut is great. Coffee is just average.

Enjoyed visiting this location. The store was clean and well kept. The staff were nice and professional. I will admit that my favorite donut shop is Randy's, but I'll definitely come back when craving a more elaborate donut. We tried the apple fritter, old fashioned, lemon Meyer, chocolate raised, glazed raised, and passion fruit pavlova. My favorite were the passion fruit and lemon, my husband loved the apple fritter and old fashioned.

The donuts are awesome. Service is slow . They clearly don’t know how to make ice tea…see photo put a tea bag ice water… I’ll enjoy a $3.75 glass of water I guess

The atmosphere of this store is so draining, and mostly because of the parents with their kids on the curb of the intersection positively 5 ft away. Going inside for a pick-up order is a nuisance if there is any customer line. Terrible experiences here!

Went by to pick up my order from Too Good to Go. Pick up time said between 7:05 to 7:25. I walked up to the door at 7:20 and the door was closed. I saw a young lady cleaning and I waited for her to look over. She avoided my gaze like I was the plague. A simple gesture to open the door and let me know I can no longer pick up the order is all it would have taken. I even knocked to get her attention and she just kept looking away from the door. It was kind of funny actually. Be a human being and communicate. Saddest part. I literally saw her grab my bag more than twice while “cleaning”. So sad to see more wasted food. I’m not mad at all and I would have actually been fine with them sending me away. I’m just ticked that these people have a fear of communication.
