Stopped by Uncle Stevey’s Bagels in El Segundo after hearing good things. The bagels have that nice East Coast-style texture — crispy outside, chewy inside, and really fresh. I tried a few things: the Uncle Stevey (lox) sandwich, the Lew (bacon & egg), the Marion (avocado & crumbled egg), plus a few bagels on their own — cheddar hot honey, onion garlic, and rosemary olive oil. My favorites were the lox, the Lew, and the cheddar hot honey bagel. The place has a quiet, chill vibe with a good amount of tables to sit. Staff was nice, service was quick, and everything came out fresh. Overall, a solid local bagel spot — definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

I absolutely LOVE Uncle Stevey’s! Always a weekly treat to myself and it never fails. From the sweet bagels to savory ones, all of them are delicious! The staff is always so helpful and friendly plus the shop itself is a great place to visit. Highly recommend!

Delicious bagels and unexpectedly good coffee! Definitely a bit overpriced but most places are now anyways. The rosemary olive oil bagel is my favorite - have to get here early for it before it sells out each day though!

The rosemary bagel was delicious and fresh. It was recommended by the cashier and she was absolutely on point. Will definitely be coming again. Didn't get a chance to snap a pic of the bagel since I ate it so fast!

Tried the zaatar bagel with cream cheese and I quite enjoyed it. The bagels here have a great chew and taste freshly made. The zaatar seasoning is pretty mild but adds a nice note; I definitely prefer it to a plain bagel. Staff is friendly and service is pretty quick.

Uncle Stevey's Bagels: A Must-Try for East Coast Delights! Uncle Stevey's is a fantastic spot in El Segundo that's quickly become my favorite bagel place. They handcraft all their bagels fresh daily, and it shows! The texture is spot-on: crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, just like a true East Coast bagel should be. For my visit, I went a little overboard (but no regrets!). Here are the highlights: Lox on Rosemary Olive Oil Bagel: This combo is pure heaven. The savory lox pairs beautifully with the fragrant rosemary and rich olive oil in the bagel. BEC on Cheddar Hot Honey Bagel: This bagel is a sweet and savory dream. The cheddar adds a sharp tang, balanced perfectly by the drizzle of hot honey. It's the perfect base for a classic BEC (bacon, egg, and cheese). Chocolate Chip Cookies: Don't skip the cookies! They're warm, gooey, and packed with melty chocolate chips. Uncle Stevey's isn't shy with their variety either. I also grabbed a pizza bagel (a childhood favorite!), a garlic onion bagel for later, and of course, an everything bagel because, well, everything! Seriously, this place is a gem. Do yourself a favor and head to Uncle Stevey's for some amazing bagels, friendly service, and a taste of the East Coast right here in El Segundo.

What a treat! This is the bagel we have been asking for. Rosemary Olive Bagels and Everything Bagels were delicious. Great crispy outside and soft light inside. 👍🏻👍🏻

Delicious bagels! Only came here 2 times, but loved their avocado spread made with some lemon that gives this great taste. I only got the sesame bagel with cream cheese and avocado spread so I can’t talk much anout the rest. So good that I didn’t take a picture. But definitely recommend!

That garlic and onion bagel is delicious. I had it with plain cream cheese just to try the place out and wasn’t disappointed. I look forward to trying other options next time I’m in.

I have to give credit or credit is due. Uncle Stevie’s bagels is the real deal. While in the area, I was craving a bagel. I ordered two different kinds of bagels. One was a sesame with chive cream cheese. Also ordered a garlic onion bagel with tomatoes and onions. I got pickled onions that are delicious but just make a little mess and the plate. The Customer Service from the minute you arrive to the minute you left was phenomenal. The staff is very polite. If you’re vegan or a meat lover, you just found yourself a great hidden gem in the heart of El Segundo right next to the airport. We have street parking.

Absolutely love this place! The bagels are incredible and always fresh - flavors you can’t just get anywhere. And the babka is completely addicting! Highly recommend to anyone in the SouthBay looking for quality and value. Plus, the service is always outstanding - you really can’t lose!

I ordered two bagels and preferred the jalapeño bagel over the rosemary olive oil one. The outside of the bagel had a perfectly chewy texture while the inside was a little dense for my liking. The rosemary olive oil bagel was coated in oil, which I didn’t love. I wish the rosemary was infused into the batter rather than just coating (which fell off). I would come back, but I’m not rushing back.

I chose the plane with my Lew, egg, chez and housmade suasge for $10. Sandwich was overall good. Chez was meh with lil taste and sausage was nice. Overall good. I added sriracha half way thru. Coffee was good. I will come back but the price makes me think how often.

Excellent local bagel shop, they have a good mix of flavors and schmear for your picking. Check the hours before you come as some days they're closed by 11:30. Both hot and cold brew coffee are very nice and definitely get your bagel toasted with either a cream cheese or get their specialty bagels.

It's fine. Bagels are pretty good, crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Had a couple sandwich options. Line was long(35 minutes for me). Only open 4 hours(7-11). Only had plains when I got there.

Bread in bagel shape. That’s what these are. If you like that style of bagel, then you might love these - although very pricey. I’ll take true New York style bagels every day - Manhattan Bread Company boils then bakes their bagels - they are truly chewy texture. And when toasted they toast all the way through. U Stevey’s just gets a crispy surface - another sign that it’s bread. Bread-type bagels are fine if you like that style - I just don’t happen to like it since the alternative is more interesting . (Also the onion bagel is too oily on the outside - we put it in our toaster before we realized it and it left an oily residue - much better to toast under the broiler)
