We are always there on Sundays for breakfast. The breakfast menu has a lot of delicious options....and of course, we always order the Bloody Mary bar. It is a great place, delicious food, TVs everywhere to watch any game. We have also been there for dinner on a few occasion and the food was also delicious.

There's not a better place in south bay to day drink and bury DELICIOUS tacos at then this place. Self serve all you can eat chips and salsa too?!? C'mon guys cut it out! The atmosphere in this place with the sun going down after a nice surf, still in your board shorts, a cheap pitcher of your favorite beer and a nice meal is the stuff dreams are made of. I'm watering up just thinking about it.

Best breakfast in Manhattan Beach! The Tacos Bennedict is my favorite! Wonderful open window seating, best bloody Mary bar with everything you can think of to put in it, complimentary chips and salsa bar in the back where they keep the chips in an oven so they're nice and toasty when you eat them. The staff is super friendly and will come talk to you at your table. Love coming in on a Saturday morning!

A very good spot to chill, drink, and have a great meal. Plenty of items on the menu and willing to make some changes to the meal if possible.

I saw some reviews about the bartenders here, but I interacted with 3 people behind the bar, and they were all great. The food was tasty, they had some good drink specials, and I was very happy with the whole visit. Definitely recommend.

I love this place, the fish tacos are awesome. The drinks are strong and well priced especially during happy hour. The bartender was super sweet I believe his name is Ricky. The waiter brought are food fast. And the restrooms were clean which is a huge plus for me.

Sharkeez is super coo... music is poppin and the vibe is super chill. The bartenders were nice and attentive. I was there on a Thursday so our wasn't really really busy which was nice. They weren't serving food at the time but they do have a full bar menu. My only complaint is that they don't really have anything playing on the TVs.

What's not to love? It's right on the beach. The happy hour is 2 for 1. Cute girls everywhere. Very fun atmosphere and awesome appetizer menu in case you get the munchies. Even the bartenders are hot. In any case, it's well worth it. Will definitely be back.

Best Happy Hour in the area! Weekdays 3-7pm. Definitely recommend calling ahead of time to make a Happy Hour reservation if you're with a group of 8+, you get extended drink specials till 9pm plus whatever additional promotions they have going on.

Christmas at Sharkees Manhattan Beach! Surprisingly, a lot of people in on Christmas lunch. The bartender was great and really cute. Matt, the manager stopped by our table to see if everything was alright. Just a really enjoyable time. Also, some folks brought in their furry family members. Sliders and flautas are a recommendation along with the blackberry smash. Delish!

Excellent food and service (thanks Amanda). We were here on taco Tuesday and had the grilled fish tacos, a side salad and a margarita. Everything was delicious! The chips and 2 salsas we're the best. We'll be back!

Great Brunch, most of all, because of prices and quality of food combined. There are tons of TV's with beach things playing, and sports playing. Friendly staff and there's a chip and salsa bar to help yourself to. It's great for a regular go-to, but if you're wanting more of a low-key dining experience, maybe it's not for you during game days or weekend nights. Here, you can have drink specials, food, and laugh out loud. At night, it turns into a bumpin, packed bar with a dance floor, if that's your thing.

I went there with some coworkers for some Sunday football and drinks and had a blast. Great atmosphere, perfect for a Sunday afternoon of football! I didn't have much food but the waitresses passed by often and asked how we were doing. I can't wait to go again

Being a mom of 2 I don't go out often but when I do Sharkeez is my go to place!! Love the atmosphere, the DJ's are almost always good, and the signature drinks are amazing!! The Shark Bite is by far my favorite!! And who could pass up on giant Jenga?! This place won't disappoint!

To know before you go: it's counter service, so you get a table, but place your order at the bar. Also, the full menu isn't available around 10pm, but that's not clear from the signage out front. I think if you're there earlier, there's service. That said, the drinks were lovely, the onion strings were awesome, and the jello shots were yummy. The very busy bartender was as attentive as she could be. It was super busy and loud on a Wednesday night.

This place has really good food. The environment is very upbeat and a cool place to hang with your friends. It's a little small but the food portions are extremely HUGE! They were selling $16 margaritas that hosted 4 patron shots. They would not allow us to order a smaller size, stating they were only promoting the large at the time...I did not like that we did not have an option but the large did its job. The wait staff was nice and very friendly. The prices were moderate and we really enjoyed it!

Normally we do not go to one bar / restaurant twice, but in this case it is something new...the first time we came for food and drinks... Hilarious - the lobster borrito and the mixed grill fajita were just awesome, but they have every day specials for drinks (and food)! So the second day we just came for drinking! One thing we did not like was the way to order (and pay) - u have to go to the edge of the bar and order right there, your food and drink choice and then take it with u, the meals are coming to u! We needed a little time to realize how it works! But everything else was juts awesome =)

It's a cool bar. Great place to watch the games. But honestly looks like it really pops on Friday / Sat. A few of the servers seem disgruntled but they treated me cool, so sending positive vibes their way.

I am regularly there for Tuesday night trivia. It's got a super laid back atmosphere (self serve chips and salsa), taco tuesday deals, and the top 3 teams get gift cards. There are 7 rounds of questions. They have been going through new hosts, and the latest host did a great job. They really need a co-host to help crack down on cheaters using their phones. The team that wins every week, uses their phone the entire time. Not sure I'll keep coming if they dont do anything about the cheating.

Baja Sharkeez is some of the yummiest Mexican food you can get near the beach! Everything about this place, rocks. The atmosphere is vibrant, the specials are remarkable, the food is amazing. Even the chips n salsa are top notch. Taco Tuesday!!!!! Even their baja fish, and Cheesy Birria tacos are part of the deal!!! My only issue was that one of my side orders wasn't in my to go bag- which Manager Jose, offered to make right when I called- but I live in Arizona, and didn't have time to go back to get my item, that I paid for. Other than that- this is the only time that happened- everything is always awesome, and I will always hit Baja Sharkeez when I'm in town

Typical Sharkeez experience, but if you're in early closer to opening you can get a more calm environment. The food is on par with what you would expect, a great blend of American/Mexican fare. Bottomless Mimosas are back and included for 1 hr with a breakfast item on the weekends.

The food is excellent. Their burritos the best I've had tbh. They were short staffed on a Saturday which is happening everywhere so can't really fault them for that. The girl working the bar was working her butt off to help everyone, she should get a raise. Still love this place

If I could give 3.5 stars I would. Metered parking is available on the street. They have ample TVs for watching sports. During happy hour they have "buy one, get one for a quarter" which is an incredible deal -we got 4 Corona's for $8.50. We also got the taco sampler which was pretty good. The steak and fish taco were my favorite. The chicken taco was okay. Overall this is a good restaurant and great for a large group. Pretty sure they start checking IDs at entry around 6pm-ish.

Visited Baja Sharkeez for breakfast for the first time. Food was well presented. It was just as tasty as it looked. Portion size - generous. Slight problem...There wasn't enough servers. Servers were working the bar, probably cooking the food and serving it. I asked for water and was told by a worker that he wasn't sure if he could get to it because it was so busy...Really for a person who paid for 3 entrees? Wow! Maybe because drinks cost and water is "free' it made a difference. Will give Baja Sharkeez another try because the food was delicious.

The food was delicious 😋 my first time coming here it was ok, I guess. Because I'm not a drinker but food was great and for a great price, coffee was so, and so it's basically to serve yourself help yourself with tostitos and salsa and coffee and soda different inviornment

Well my friend had made reservations and it was great but they told her to invite at least 10 people. They had us crammed into a 4 person table. Which was pretty uncomfortable. The drinks were OK but not great. The music, to be honest, the dj could have tried a wider selection rather than only playing the first 40 seconds of 'Today's Hip Hop songs'

Mexican food. Relaxed atmosphere. Food is decent. Servers are friendly. Our child thoroughly enjoyed her time here. The server provided crayons and paper for the entertainment of our toddler. She first drew, then switched to people watching and waving to the pedestrians on Highland Ave. Later, she took some time out on a walk down to the beach. It was fun for her.

Drinks were good but my friend had an incident with the bartender that was NOT ok.... forgot she gave the bartender her card, was panicked not finding the card. asked if they had apple pay (which showed a pic of the card), I threw down my card, and in all that he ran my card but gave her back her card.... ugh

Food and drinks and staff were amazing...atmosphere is a bit questionable. Is it a restaurant or is it a club? We went thinking it would be a restaurant bar style place but it turned into a dance club that got too loud and rowdy so we left.

This place is horrible. Staff is not attentive and pretentious like it’s a big deal. Music is loud to make you feel like you’re at a club, but it’s very short of a club. Sad excuse for whatever they think they’re doing. Sloppy place. If you like sloppy, you’ve found your North Star.

Overall a fairly mediocre bar. Granted, we came at like 1pm which is probably not an ideal time and overall the vibe is not for me, but the bartender also left for like 15-20 mins leaving us with no service. Overall, very tequila heavy menu and beach/tiki inspired drinks. I'm more of a whiskey person myself. Probably very fun later in the late afternoon/evening and especially if you're in a more "party" vibe, but not really my thing.

I've heard so many wonderful things about this place, and I was really excited to visit during my trip to Cali from South Carolina. Unfortunately, my experience with the customer service was a bit disappointing. I had to ask a few times for our table to be cleaned since it still had some leftovers from the previous guests. The bartender mentioned that we could go over to the bar to order our food since we were seated inside, which was a new experience for me. What really stood out was that even though my family and I were trying to be polite, saying thank you and everything, the bartender didn’t respond at all. It just felt off. The only person who truly delivered great customer service was Chris! I made sure to remember his name because he was so friendly and kind. He cleaned our table and treated us with genuine warmth, which made a big difference!

Be careful of the tacos and Indian corn, excessively spicy will burn your mouth. Hamburger sliders were excellent. I brought to the attention of the server that the tacos were too hot and spicy to eat as well as the corn, which only resulted in a comment that it was his favorite food. Service was so, so, and the prices were okay. After being served, no one ever checked to see how things were, or if we need refills. You need to getup and go over to the bar to order. Expect to pay and tip when you place your order.

I ordered a burger and fries and it was amazing! Also, ordered a margarita and it was ok. Food is good customer service is horrible. It seemed as if the employee disliked my husband for being Hispanic. He gave him a negative vibe and was pretty much an a** hole with him. I took my burger to go and went next door to OBs Pub & Grill where we received excellent customer service.

I've been coming for 2 years and the chick before was way better.. I came here for a birthday and she responded to a friend of mine and I was there, that if we gave her attitude that she wasn't going to help us. we asked her service since we got her since 9:50pm. 1 with nachos the second with jello shotz and last for a simple cranberry with vodka drink. 1

The bartender Brie took my credit card to run a tab. I paid cash and she charged me anyway. Would've been a nice time. But they stole from me.

Me and three of my friends got in line about 12:15. Plenty of people in front of us but, we didn’t mind waiting to have a good time. The manger Bret looked over the line and notified one of my friends she was not up to dress code ( her shorts were too long and baggie). We thought this to be a little strange being the the bar is close to the beach and this is how most people dress in the area. However, she fixed her short pulled them up on her waist and past her knees. We waiting a lil while longer. The group of three in front of us got in so, finally we thought it would be our turn shortly. We were sadly mistaken! Out of no where a group of about 4 or 5 walked up bypassing everyone in line. Talked with the door men and were let in! (just like that!) When asked why were they let in before us? We were told they are friends of some of the employees. However, them getting in before us and not having to wait in line was not my problem. My problem was; one of the men had the same dress code error and nothing was said about it. I requested to speak with the manger Bret. I asked him “are we getting in?” He said “like I said we are at capacity”. I said you never said that” I notified him serval people have come out and my friend had fix her dress so, when will we be let in. He invented another excuse. I also asked Bret about the man dress code error. He acted as if he could care less. He was flipped with me and condescending in he tone of voice. To make a long story short I assume Bret didn’t have anymore excuses to imagine up. So, another manger came out to work the line. Who came up with more reasons why we could not get in.( frankly to other manager talked as if he had been drinking.) By this time is was 12:50 and everyone was ready to go; even people who was not apart of our group. We went to the bar next door which was welcoming and fun. (I wish we just went there in the first place) Never again, Never again!

The food and drinks were good, and the staff were amazing until we left. There was a racist patron giving one of our friends problems, rather then kick out the racist patron or set him right, they tell our group to leave. Never coming back again.

The food doesn't have much flavor . My order was wrong, I ordered tacos without onion and they arrived full of onion. I also ordered extra chipotle sauce and they forgot to add it.

This place deserves a 0. I got here rather late on a Friday night, and they let me in. The bar was closed and the lady at the bar completely ignored me. She could've just told me that the bar is closed, and that's cool. They definitely need to train their staff better and even the guys at the door could've mentioned that the bar is now closed. When she avoided me, I left. But it's simply extremely rude and poor customer service, just tell your customers if you can serve them or not. There was no need for me to enter, if they were not serving customers, and that would mean I would not have this awful experience.

My family and I came to eat a late breakfast on Labor Day, the server completely messed up my order we had order a veggie plate since I can’t eat meat and he gave me a chorizo plate . The chorizo was all burnt by the way but I couldn’t even eat it. We requested again for the veggie plate they took forever, the restaurant was pretty empty and they were still not bringing some veggies with a couple of eggs. At one point I even saw the waiter getting ready to sit down and eat his meal. At that point I was very upset we asked to be refunded for my meal and we left. I’m guessing if you’re going to drink alcohol this place will work for you but for a regular eatery it’s AWFUL! Worst food and service in Manhattan beach 😩. Skip if you can.

Be careful with buying event tickets at this location. Paid for a Super Bowl viewing party ticket and have receipt plus the confirmation. Showed them that and they told me I’m not on their “list” so they can’t give me a wristband when I showed them proof of purchase. They said that’s something corporate handles not them. Careful getting scammed here.

Power tripping while wearing a red onesies as a security guard is diabolical please leave your business outside this place it’s not worth it. Empty, slow, and the attitude sucks. We came as a group of friends, and the security guard—a white man wearing red pajamas—had an issue with one of our friends because he had a drink with him. Our friend got rid of the drink, but the guard still refused to let him in. Then, all of a sudden, he said only four of us could enter and not the rest of the group because they were wearing gold chains. They removed the chains, yet he still stopped all of us for no reason. He also seemed to have a problem with our African American friend, denying him entry because he had a drink in his hand, yet he allowed a group of women who were also drinking beer to enter. This place is discriminating against Black people, and it’s sad because we just came to celebrate our friend’s birthday And the fact stopping people from wearing gold chains and yet still letting security guards wearing red pajamas is wild to me it’s not like we weren’t wearing appropriate or sandals.

It seems like every-time I come here the guy at the bar or serving food always has an attitude, I just feel like the staff needs to be more friendly. Not only that the food was wasn’t all that and the corn was burnt. I’m not sure what the policy is about having pets in the restaurant but having them eating food on top of the bar doesn’t seem sanitary.
