Incredible restaurant with staff that clearly take pride in their establishment. Delicious food that was rich in favor. Thoughtfully decorated and service was excellent. The vegetable coconut curry and kheer was to die for!! Job well done.

Such an underrated restaurant in San Diego! Not only is the service and environment memorable, but the Himalayan food tastes so authentic! Highly recommend the chicken tandoori and the mushroom tikka masala (which they can even do vegan). Definitely try if you are in the area!

It's ridiculous how much I loved this food when I ordered delivery this past year. I just finally had a chance to sit down with my kiddo and have the restaurant experience. This food tastes even better served fresh! Omg, I'm so happy with how delicious it is😍😍😍

This is the best lunch deal in North County! For 12 bucks you get your choice of two entrées rice, and yummy naan. The food quality is excellent and the service is wonderful. I highly recommend.

I’ve had the pleasure of eating here twice and I can’t wait to go back again. The staff are super friendly and the food is high quality. Definitely a new favorite spot to eat! I’m vegetarian so I appreciate they have a nice selection of vegetarian items. The chai tea is delicious and alone worth going back for more.

I am so happy this is my local Indian restaurant. I can’t say enough good things about it. The tikka masala is delish and the paneer dishes don’t disappoint. They have all kinds of menu options. I never get to try them all because I love my favorites so much. I would go everyday if my waistline would allow for it. Thank you Himalayan Kitchen for doing such a good job!

Editing to note catering options. The catering options were fantastic and affordable, we received a lot of compliments on their food from our guests. Picture added. We also had leftovers for a few days which was also great. Original review: Good food and friendly service. The standards are good but I like some items that I think are less common, achari chicken, paneer chilly, bhanta aloo, malai kofta. I always leave here happy.

AMAZING FOOD! 10/10 highly recommend this place!! I have been getting their lunch specials for almost 3 years now, at least 2 times a month. It is my go to for lunch and probably the best curry I’ve ever had. It is delicious every single time. They are consistent with the quality of their food! So flavorful! I like the Pokra as an appetizer and the Malai Kofta, Ram Torya, or Bhanta Aloo as entrees. The naan is really flavorful too. In the year after first trying the Malai Kofta here, I ordered this at every other Indian restaurant to compare. No other curry and kofta was able to match here. Himalayan Kitchen was the best

Me and my family love this spot. Probably our favorite takeout/delivery spot. However, it’s even better when you dine-in. The food is good. The prices are good and their chicken is unusually good for an Indian restaurant. I really like their korma whether it’s veggie or chicken. I also really like their sizzling chicken dishes but you have to dine there in person for those.

The Staff are excellent and all work well together. The restaurant is very clean. I had the lentil soup and it was incredible. The best lentil soup I have ever tasted. I also had the curried goat. Which was equally good. The basmatti rice that they serve with it was very good as well. Everyone eating around me looked very satisfied as well. I would go back here in a heartbeat. Himalayan Kitchen has become a family favorite. The food is delicious and we always end up with leftovers for the next day. I highly recommend stopping in for authentic food and great prices. As a side note: We also have gluten free and dairy free needs, which are easily accommodated here.

Parking is at the back and always plenty available, I didn't see it and drove around, so you don't have to ^_^ Goat meat is the best one, the chopped red and green peppers are fresh, crisp, and soaked with the meat juice, very enjoyable. Goat meat is tender and savory. Other dishes are light and true to the original Indian and Nepalese flavors. Garlic naan is decent too. Momo is authentic, but if you have tried Xiao Long Bao or Ding Tai Feng, you can skip this.
